"yep you do" she said with a rather sadistic like smile before splashing him with water and ending all his hard work of trying to get. clean dry and of course right after she splashed him she dived back into the water. Cold water really was the best. It was totally different from the small pond back in solarie. She knew she would eventually have to go back but with a sigh she realized she might actually miss the now drowned rat look phim.

Just as the phim got his wings water-free, the sneaky little female splashed him. And insult upon injury, she dove under the water so that he couldn't retaliate. Two could play at that game, however. He waited until she came up again and jumped into the river next to her, splashing her back. It got him soaking wet again, but he found he didn't really care. "Ha, gotcha back."

Xiaoshi stuck out her tongue at him before shaking her head and diving back into the water. She nipped at his tail before diving down a bit deeper and watching some of the same type of fish she had been eating earlier panic and swim around her. She also made a mental note that she should also check to see if there where any fish in the oasis pond. As it could be a food source she guessed there probably where it would be interesting to see if they where tasty.

Esus gave a playful yelp when she went after his tail before following her under the water. He, being bigger and having bulky wings, was far less graceful than Xiaoshi, but he wasn't a horrible swimmer. He swam after her, spotting her in the middle of a whirl of frightened fish. Esus caught up with the lavender and blue female, giving her a nudge before heading towards the surface. It was reminiscent of a game of tag.

Xiaoshi still had a bit more air and so she tugged on esus's tail again as he went for the surface to fill her lungs up again. She could hold it longer than the average human could but there was no need to to hold her breath to the longest she could go. She looked over at the sun and winced noticing it was further across in its path across the sky. She should really start getting back to her tribe but.....

Esus popped out of the water smiling and nudged Xiaoshi in the shoulder. He noticed her tracking the sun and tilted his head a little. "Do you have to start heading back home now?" he asked, slightly disappointed. Still, he could keep her from her tribe forever. And he'd never thought about joining a tribe...but maybe.

Xiaoshi sadly nodded pulling her self out of the river and onto the river bank. "I'm afraid so, as its getting close to night I better head back. Solarie has a thing about the moon and nighttime. I guess mostly because our modeity is a sun god" Xiaoshi said. "maybe some time I can wander out lost again and meet you. Weirder things have happened" she smiled.

"Mmm. You're not getting rid of me just yet, Angel. I'm going to walk with you." Esus said, again acting a little out of character. Before her, he'd never just suggest something on his own like that. "A sun Diety? I like the sun. Shall I follow you, Angel, and see how I like this tribe of yours?"

Xiaoshi twitched a bit, oh if she didnt have to start back towards her tribe she'd tackle that pretty phim boy right back into the river. As such she sent him a mock glare and refused to think she had just called him pretty. "ah really now. Yep a sun deity. Originally enough apparently his name is solarus." she pointed out. "by all means follow if you want" she teased.

Esus nodded. "Ah, yes. Solarus definitely has nothing to do with the sun." He agreed, allowing the joke to continue. He smirked at Xiaoshi's glare, enjoying the game of tweaking the female's tail. "Oh, following you will be no hardship. Your tail is quite lovely to look at, Angel. Such a lovely lavender you have there."

"you know just because I take care of kits for a living doesn't mean I cant hand your butt to you mister. Eyes strictly on the road in front of us." She growled although it was serious yet halfhearted at the same time. "yep he's definitely a cloud deity" she said knowing if he was truely a deity she could respect he wouldnt care about a bit of teasing. "besides its not really lavender... lavender is more blue."

Esus chuckled. Quite the spitfire, this little vixen. "Oh? I see quite a bit of blue on your tail. And some deep purple too. Oops, but I'm supposed to look at the bland ground. So cruel, Angel." He teased, moving up next to her. "Ah, a cloud diety. I see why a tribe that worships the sun would worship a cloud diety." He nodded.

"Isnt blue its aqua and no chuckling my attitude is not up for foxes amusement... and yes I can read minds." she said turning around to glare at him again going quite sarcastic." deep purple is a dark violet" she quipped. "Yes eyes on the road or your going to find your self getting poked in the eye with the said tail you keep on staring at" Xiaoshi stated then thought of her next reply to the little deity game they had going. "Yep and the deity only comes out at night too" she laughed.

Esus cocked an eyebrow. "Aqua is a type of blue. And deep purple sounds better to me than 'dark violet'. Also, I don't think your tail can reach, and if it tried, it may just get a n** for it's trouble." Esus teased back. "And your diety makes perfect sense." He said, nodding in agreement.

"eh nope blue is blue and aqua is aqua" Xiaoshi teased shaking her head. "You would definitely be surprise at how far and fast it moves." But none the less the tail moved and slowly slid out of view. "Yes doesnt it?" she laughed. "oh I guess we also have another deity as well. She isnt mentioned as much so I keep forgetting about her."
