’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…

Erkamina didn't care to watch the on-going fights, but she kept an eye on them just in case this was 'tournament style' in which case any one of them could potentially be her opponent. Not that she was confident, at this point, that she would even get past the first round. From what she had passively observed, she was far out-matched by most of the other genin here. She growled softly and put her hand on her cheek in a bored and tired motion. "How is it that no matter what happens, I tend to be getting the odd end of the stick? Is it my luck or is it this stupid test? Is it meant to bring out our best? If so do I even have a 'best'?" She wondered out loud, thinking of that genjutsu / trap from before while over-hearing the crowd around her talking of placing bets. What kind of ridiculous notion would these people have of winning. After all, it's not like they could foresee the outcome and without a guarantee it seemed to be a waste of time.

… Soon I will show the world the worth of that name.’

Notwen turned to the doorway as another familiar voice broke the silence. It was Oasis, the red-headed kunoichi that was teamed with Hatsuma and Fuyu. She seemed to be confused at the devastated state of the private booth, and at the fact that there was a man taking bids on the fights.
"Oi, Hisaki! Enough with calling my ears pointy! It's bad enough that i have to help pay this calamity off!" The Uchiha dug into his bag, feeling only a bit of change, and frowned. "Hey old guy, I've got 100 ryo on Sora."

Jin frowned at the butler dressed person. Bets? Jin smiled. He had no doubt that Sora would win easily against that girl in the forest. It was just a matter of would Sora show up in time. Jin laughed. Sora wasn't the type to not show up for such a thing. Or so he hoped. Why would Sora ruin his chances of passing after making it through the first two tests? Grabbing the packaged scythes, Jin got up and left.

Jin knocked on the door to the skybox and entered. He looked around the room but none of the faces were familiar to him. "I heard you could place bets here?" Jin said. For a moment his eyes lingered on the dark skinned boy with pointy ears. Jin couldn't remember being told his name but he didn't care either. The person would only bring him issues if he bothered to involve himself with him. Walking towards the butler, Jin pulled out a bundle of cash and handed it to the butler. "1,000 Ryo. On Sora for the win." Jin said. His confident grin hidden well behind his mask.

Hisaki shook his head, "Yea, but it's your defining feature. Just like Yuki's is his..." Hisaki looked up and down his friend, who appeared to be rather plain. Nothing of real intrest unfortunately. Hisaki then tried something different, "Just like mine is my awesome hat." Hisaki shot the bidder a glance, and pulled out his wallet. He open it, then said, "One hundred on Hatsuma."

Meanwhile, Oasis wasn't happy at all. She seemed at the verge of tears for a moment, but was happy that Lillith enjoyed the buffet. She then said out loud that Hatsuma had warned her of potential 'trickery' and excuses just like Hisaki's own situation. Hisaki stared at the babbling girl in a way that said, 'No way...'. Hisaki couldn't belive that the four armed girl had intuition like that, how could anyone expect a catastrophe like this?

Oasis then said that she'd be willing to pay off the debt. Aparently, she's been sitting on a pile of cash thanks to some antique coins. Hisaki squeeked, "Pay the debt?" Tears filled his eyes, and he threw the small wallet in his hands behind him, "Would you really?!" Hisaki jumped to the floor in front of her, kowtowing as low as he could, "I'd be eternally in your debt!" Which seems like a much better deal than being in debt to whatever crude, knee-hobbling collectors this place would send to me.

The butler glared at Oasis for a short while. People like her ruined life for him. Happy go lucky types, that wanted nothing but world peace and didn't care who they helped so long as they got to helped someone. The man would bet his life savings that the girl hadn't known the guy in trouble, Hisaki, longer then duration of this exam, cause that just was the type of person that he figured her to be. The type that didn't need to know a person for long, that didn't use all that much rational thought but was only all hugs and kisses for all.

The butler shook his head, "Well that's your choice and no one will take that from you." The man said in response to her not wanting to bet, his mind pushing her completely out of his thoughts as he gladly took the other dark skinned shinobi's bet. However when the blue haired, masked kid arrived and placed one thousand ryo on one of the competitors, the man's mouth almost dropped. Grinning, he took the money and wrote down the bet. "Hope you know what you are doing kid."

Oasis was still all grins until she heard a very unfamiliar voice. She whipped around to see the strange dark skinned pointy eared male wearing a sand headband. "HOLY CRAP! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?!" she squawked as she saw the stranger, yes oddly enough she reacted like that. There was no reason nor rational for most of her actions or reactions it was the duty of those who heard her to simply take it as it was. However her shock faded and she looked at the new person, her eyes started to turn blue as she looked at him, that was the one who beat Fuyu. Then he came in and placed a large bet on Hatsuma's competitor. She blinked a few times, she felt exceptionally irritated for some reason. "No I changed my mind, Oasis wants to put 1000 on Hatsuma-tan, cause I believes in my friend!" she states as she pulled out the coin and launched it at the butler man. Oasis blinked and then smiled at Hisake when he all but begged that she would pay the debt "Well yea, Oasis would notta offered if she didn't mean it." she says with a smile "So... how much is it I got a fair number of the coins, and elder said that he will help me out if I need it, so pretty much any ryo I needs I get." she says with a big smile.

The butler chuckled heartedly, people like the blue haired kid made his life. Their powerful actions being strong enough to sway others to do the same. Grinning, the butler took the money and wrote down the bet, "Now that's more like it~ Anymore bets?" The man said as he leaned back and watched the group before him with a smile.

Jin had entered the room and given the bid collector a wad of bills, and declaring a whopping wager of one thousand ryo.
This guy has some faith in his team mate, maybe i should go with it, thought Notwen. Apparently Oasis had just noticed him, because she reacted as if she'd just seen a serial killer. She then calmed down and moved on to scope Jin with her weird blue-tinged doujutsu. The fact that the masked blue-haired genin put up one grand for Sora to win shook the dark-skinned red-head out of her stupor. Oasis now placed a bid of equal price on Hatsuma.
"Another nine hundred over here for Sora."

Yua arrived late she had spent to much time in down she also had another chocolate banana hanging out of her mouth as she made her way through the crowd into the box where she spotted Oasis and several other she smiled and waved and noticed there wasn't any food which she had though might be a possibility so she had brought another Banana for Oasis who she knew would be hungry. Yua smiled as she walked in she noticed everyone handing money to a man dressed as Butler but she felt she had spent enough right now she walked up to Oasis with the Banana still hanging out of her mouth and went to hand Oasis her's as Yua Noticed Hatsuma out in the field and her name up on a screen, Yua figured it was her friends turn she was interested to see what Hatsuma could do.

People were coming from everywhere once the butler-looking gentleman entered the booth and was ready to bet like no tomorrow. He smirked, I don't like the idea of betting to cover debt, but for Hisaki I'll try to help. He looked at the two names on screen. Sora Aburame and Hatsuma Kidomaru. Shrugging, Yuki stole Hisaki's discarded pamphlet and glanced at their so called 'stats'. It seemed the Aburame's stats were more geared towards taijutsu, while the Kidomaru was more well rounded, although these were rough estimations and probably shouldn't be trusted.

He sighed as he stared into the wall, analyzing the situation.
His best friend was trying to use an analogy, trying to pick out the Yamanaka's defining feature, but failed and tried to cover it up. Yuki's analytical spaciness was suddenly interrupted as he threw the threatening 'I'm going to hurt you later' look to his Hyuuga pal.

A newcomer, a Sand Genin by the name of Oasis, had made a dramatic entrance and baffled a few of the guests. Yuki merely stared at her and tried to figure out where he stood on his bet. Sora, or Hatsuma? Well, to be quite frank, if the forest area depicted before us is where we will be fighting, than both of them have quite the advantage. Aburame are known for using insects in talented ways, but I've heard of the Kidomaru clan. They originated here, in the sound village, and have multiple arms. She also has quite the advantage.

Oasis had declared that she will help pay for Hisaki's debt, which sent the playful Hyuuga diving to her feet, to grovel as much as possible. Rolling his eyes, he noticed another person, from the Hidden Cloud Village, who was quite determined that his ally Sora will win in this fight. His mind drifted away from the decision between the two combatants as he analyzed this thought. If Hisaki were matched up with one of these Genin, would I bet on him? Would I be confident with his abilities? Or would I choose him to boost his own morale? He shook the thought from his head as he motioned at the butler guy. "One hundred and fifty Ryo on Hatsuma Kidomaru." Yuki announced confidently.

Yet another newcomer had slipped into the booth, who seemed to be friends with Oasis as she handed her a treat from one of the fairs outside. "Greetings." The Yamanaka said as he made his way towards Yua, "My name is Yuki, what is yours?" He asked nicely, offering his hand for a handshake with a small smile on his face.

Yua was watching as everything seemed to be unfolding with all the bets and everything, then she noticed a younger boy approach her after placing a bet, he was obviously Younger than Yua and just a tiny bit shorter but he was cute, he also seemed very nice. Yua smiled and returned the hand and then slowly pulled the banana from her mouth. "Yua Mizu from Mist village." Yua said with a look around she seemed to be the only Mist ninja in here currently she wondered if Erkamina, or any of the other Mist Ninja had made it this far.

Ka'rinth stared at the new match up on the field for a few minutes before deactivating his sharingan and shaking his head, it was not one that interested him. He intended to watch but doubted he would see anything worth remembering though the coffin on one of the fighter's back made him raise an eyebrow ever so slightly. He was the type after all that appreciated puppeteering but had his own approach to it which varried a bit from most people's. As he watched them enter the arena he flipped a mental coin and decided that the odds were on the puppeteer being in the coffin instead of carrying it because that was the normal approach. Hell for that matter even he himself usually played the part of the puppet though in today's match he would be playing a slightly different role than the usual. He planned to try something unusual as he gradually worked his way towards front row seats as the crowd shifted naturally. It was in fact as simple as manipulating what people believed they knew instead of facts.

Yuki nodded his head after a small handshake. He didn't bother to trace her mind, it was obvious by her handshake that she was a tai-user. Masaki had showed him, using Mrs. Yamanaka as a demonstration, that most Taijutsu users have either rough hands or powerful grips to their handshake. "Oh, the Village Hidden in the Mist, that is an interesting country. By the way, do you know anything about these two combatants that had just stepped into the arena?" He asked, nonchalantly. The pamphlet was never really accurate, and Yuki had a hard time inferring anything from this distance, and with the new forest terrain, it was even harder. He already made his bet so it didn't matter, but if he were to go on and face one of them in the next round, well, he'd rather be informed of their capabilities.

From the ground, Hisaki noted that Oasis was freaking out over Notwen, then continued to go on about other things. While Oasis made her bet, Hisaki smirked, and activated his Byakugan, just momentarily. With his sudden ability to read chakra aura in three hundred eighty degrees, Hisaki briefly scanned each genin's chakra. First was Yuki, the overall lowest in the group. Following Yuki was Hisaki's own chakra. Then there was Notwen. Notwen's chakra wasn't that much ahead in strength than his own. Yua's was much Higher than any other 'normal' genin in the room. Finally there was Oasis. Her's was through the roof (as expected from her chart in the guide). Hisaki saw the winner of the first fight come in. His chakra fell somewhere between Yuki's and Hisaki's. After this final scan, he pushed himself off the ground with closed eyes. When they reopened, there was no sign that he'd even used his Clan's skill at all.

Hisaki heard Oasis ask about the price that he owed, and replied, "Twenty Five thousand. That's how much this blunder costs... Any help you could give would be amazing!"

Yua smiled at the boy she could tell he was examining her in some way but she brushed it off and took a bite from her Banana. "Hatsuma is smart. Watch out for her wit." Was all Yua said in regard's to her friend on the battlefield. "Mist is a nice country very cold." Yua said as she looked at him and then began to take another bite of her Banana, she noticed his head with the leaf symbol on it. He was the first leaf ninja she had encountered here, she would be interested to see what he could do. Yua smiled as she hefted her scroll a little bit adjusting the large weight. She hoped Senkai would be enough for this tournament from what she had seen already there where many strong competitor's here. Yua smiled at the boy next to her again. "So what's leaf village like? I bet it's warm there."
