FrostFrost narrowed his eyes gradually as Tolin spoke, and in the silence following his words, the Arcanine found himself unable to remain fully silent. He had to say something, and he certainly did have something to say. "You plan to save the balance... by destroying it from within, and rebuilding it from the top down?" The Arcanine questioned, his voice calm but cautious. He didn't want to form any opinions on this, not yet. "It sounds plausible, in theory. Whether it will be plausible in reality is something else entirely, though I cannot deny that the situation does appear to call for drastic measures." Frost continued, his dark eyes fixed seriously on Tolin. "How do you propose that we might obtain this sword? If it is in the hands of the Elite, as you have informed us, then it won't exactly be as easy as strolling in and taking it for ourselves." An inward flicker of shock was well-disguised, not only from the surprising, and incredibly dangerous plan that Tolin had brought before them, but also simply because of the realization that, even if they were to succeed in following his plan, they might all perish anyway. The world was in dire straits, when the wise men asked for the death of a deity. The great canine's head tilted, his muscles tensing automatically in pain as he accidentally shifted his wounded shoulder. When this was over, he was going to visit Sonata in hospital. He would have visited Kenna, as well, if he had any slight clue where she was.

  Solaris---Tempest
"I have information regarding that..." Tempest said, ignoring Tolin's comment to sit down completely in favor of Frost's mentioning of the sword. "Managed to get a hold of Aire again and she traced the tracker Alfred place during the attack. It's on the sword, more specifically where the handle and blade met. It's stuck good, chances are it won't be coming off anytime soon so we have time." Solaris lifted his head, "That's...that's good, right? We can focus on the sword now. As long as we get it, then we'll stand a fighting chance!"The Pikachu rocked back and forth on her back paws at that, a scowl on her face. "We're going to need more firepower..." "You've got it."
Ivan---Raith---Goldclaw Stepping into the room with the massive Garchomp in the lead were three Pokemon. Said Garchomp, who despite his toothy smile, seemed unlikely to attack and a strangely colored Absol with pale gold markings over his body like that of the tribe. In the back was the familiar bulk of the Raikou that had appeared during the Dragonite attack. "Raith's decided the cause is worthy of our attention." The Raikou rumbled, head dipped low to avoid scrapping the ceiling. "We hunt legendary that cause trouble. Guess you could call us Legendary Slayers." "Or Legendary chasers, pretty much the jist of the job is finding the buggers." The Absol commented, earning him a smile from the Dark/Ground type. "Yeah, but when we do it's-" He raised one claw to his own throat and mimed slitting it with his tongue sticking out. "Bye bye, legendary."

Lucinda---&--- Scarface---&--- RevLucinda and Scarface both glanced at the new arrivals. Legendary Slayers? Neither of them had ever heard the name before. Behind the new Pokemon, the door opened again. "Rather packed in here..." Rev muttered as he stepped inside. He immediately went to stand next to Scarface, who nodded to the Zangoose. "I'll speak my peace whenever it is acceptable," Rev told Lucinda.

Pluto && Suicune Pluto listened to the plan intently. It all sounded dangerous and rather desperate, but considering the situation, they were probably desperate enough. He had seen the aftermath of what that Dragonite had done. And that was only one of the Elite. He had heard of the attacks on the other guilds. Defeating them would not be an easy feat. Then they have to get that insane Lopunny whom the last time they had met, shredded a good portion of the leadership of the Guilds. And to top it all of- wait, whoa, whoa let's back up here. Kill Arceus?Aside from the religious implications (and that Arceus was, kinda sorta maybe technically, family) Pluto was not exactly accepting of the plan. At least, not with what he has been given yet. Frost voiced his concerns with the sword- Pluto was concerned with the end result. "How do you suppose the Universe will stay intact for even a second if The Original One is to die? How do you plan to 'bring back His soul' in order to put these two...Creaus and Suecra into Him? Why can we not restore him without...taking His life?" The concept of "killing" the ultimate creator was also rather baffling. He turned sharply at the sound of the door opening and new arrivals coming in. There was the Raikou he has heard about and... Of course he's heard about them- Pluto makes sure he stays well informed. That doesn't mean he knows much about these "Legendary Slayer" though, and he was rather skeptical. "These aren't normal Legendaries we're facing." He told them dryly. Arceus's Light, his Champions, and The Original One Himself. Arceus is the only true Legendary of their targets, and from everything he's gathered Arceus is not going to be their toughest opponent- it was still so weird trying to think of Arceus as an opponent!

Tolin & DesmondSurprisingly enough, no one seemed to object to the core of the plan. There was obvious concern voiced, but it was not to slaying Arceus. It was not the nature of the plan itself that seemed to worry the others, but the risk behind it. And it was dangerous to be sure. Archer had claimed it would happen "slowly", but it was hard to say. " ...Well, you aren't exactly wrong, but you aren't exactly right. You're both thinking of Arceus as he's painted in the myths, which isn't exactly true." How to put it, how to put it... It had to sound believable since he was straight out lying to them, but he couldn't be too far off the mark else it would interfere with his plans later. " Arceus... is more like a mechanic. He created this world and he created us, and through his efforts he corrects that which harms it. However, he is mortal--especially now. If we kill him, he will still 'exist' as a sort of ghost as we all do. Even should the world collapse, he will continue to exist so that he may one day form it once more. That being said, all of his power is being used to sustain the world. If we kill him, the world will begin to descend much faster than it is now, but it won't die immediately. If we act quickly, we might even have days before it's all gone." Well, probably, anyways. Who knew for sure? " As for having to kill him... it's because there's no other way. As I said before, he is mortal. He is polluted by his existence as a physical being. Suecra and Creaus would not enter him, the blade would simply kill him. I have an ally, however, who can draw back those who have died, even if it's against their will. Powerful creatures can break free if they choose, but if we draw Arceus back from the beyond and force his power back into him he should return to his core. Then he will be powerful enough to recreate his own body and correct the balance." That, of course, ignored the issue of the blade. " As for the blade, it has a crucial weakness, as does it's wielder. Creaus is corrupt and violent, we merely need to concoct a plan to draw her out. The blade itself is useless against normal mortal pokemon. So, we simply set a trap. We draw her out with legendary blood and the strongest of the mortals disarm her. Then, we simply pierce her. It gives us the weapon and both gods in one attack." They couldn't afford to divide up the actions. Not in the slightest. If they tried to do them distinctly, it wouldn't work. Restraining Creaus would be almost impossible, and even if they could the blade would disappear. Taking the blade would put Creaus into hiding. So they simply needed to draw her out. Of course, the trick was pulling out JUST Creaus. If the managed to draw out the rest of the elite before they got the mirror, they were dead. She was incredibly stupid, though, so it could potentially be just as easy as waiting for her to leave the tower and then baiting her into an army. " It's good to have you, Raith." A smile crossed Tolin's face. They were cocky bastards. But this was the group Alfred had sent for. Tolin knew little about them, but the Garchomp had to be immensely powerful. If he had a Raikou acting subservient to him, he had to be beyond the mortal parallel. Which was a bit of a concern, but things could be dealt with as they happened. " I trust Ivan informed you of the situation?"

FrostFrost simply fell silent, listening. He could hear the unease and awkwardness in Pluto's voice, and it only seemed to deepen as Tolin replied. They were talking about killing the Original One; the Creator of all; Arceus. It still felt a little unreal, and entirely hypothetical, but the Arcanine knew that feeling would only continue. None of this would ever feel realistic, or natural in any way. It was just too extreme to even consider really think about logically, but somehow he had to try. He swallowed, flicking his ears as a new group of Pokemon swept in. His heart dropped as he realized them not to be the ones they were expecting, but at least he knew Eira and her mate to be reasonably safe. It was a sad thing, he felt, to see so many of the guilds' members missing from their positions, either injured or worse. It was for that reason alone; the people around him, his loved ones, that he was even considering this. The great, frosty-furred Fire-type flattened his ears, looking back at Tolin. He seemed welcoming of them, and ultimately unphased by all of this. It didn't make sense, at least to Frost, how anyone could seem so visibly relaxed and knowledgeable about such a serious and downright disturbing situation. "You don't know how long we'll have to revive Arceus?" The Arcanine questioned, his thick, fluffy mane looking a snowy white under the artificial lighting. "I find that not very reassuring, strangely enough." His tone was dry, but he seemed to recognize that Tolin didn't seem to have much of a choice, and didn't argue further with the elderly Scyther. "In particular, what is it that you want us to do?"

  Solaris---Tempest
Tempest scowled at the three newcomers, her attention briefly lifted from the problem at hand. Killing Arceus? It didn't really bother her as it should have. The past few days had been full of surprises, both unpleasant and not. She was pretty much numb to the insanity by now. Kill Arceus? Hell yeah, bring it on. Solaris dropped from his chair to approach the Garchomp and his three companions, his head cocked to the side as he starred at the imposing creature. "Legendary slayers?" He asked, slightly baffled by the prospect.
   Ivan---Raith---Goldclaw
Raith ignored Solaris entirely, only dropping his head down to say something quietly to the Espeon where no one else would hear. The result sent Solaris scrambling back to his seat where he ducked his head and vanished from sight. The Garchomp lifted his head at his name. "Ah, yes. I am well aware, and not just with what Ivan had informed me of. I'm usually kept in the loop on most the guild affairs by Alfred. after all, I was originally the second in command of Rebirth."He winked, "I know how things work. And I've many years experience under my belt." "No more than 100 at a time though." The Absol cut in with a smirk of his own. Raith frowned at that, "Don't remind me."The leader of the trio then turned to address Pluto with that toothy smile. "I've dealt with these kind before. Though at the time I was unaware of the Elite. Killed an Ariados way back that wore a similar pendant to the ones I've heard tell of. Was easy as pie." He raised his claws to examine before slashing at the air. "As for this legendary bait, Ivan would be more than happy to volunteer. We can lure them out easily, but I suggest finding these loose pendants beforehand."

Lucinda---&--- Scarface---&--- RevLucinda crossed her arms, watching the Garchomp. If Alfred had constantly kept him in the loop, he must be somewhat trustworthy. "I suppose we don't have many other choices than to put our faith in you," She spoke. "That sounds quite logical, especially if you've defeated a bearer of a pendant," Rev added, stepping forward. "You wouldn't happen to have this pendant in your possession, would you Raith?" The Zangoose inspected the Garchomp carefully. "Calm down, Rev. He ain' a new Elite or anythin'," Rev's Arcanine boss growled. "You can never be too sure anymore... Damned Lucario..."

Pluto && Suicune The conversation was beginning to get farther and farther out of the realms of comfort, not that it was anywhere near it even at the start. What Pluto was doing quite well is to say what needed to be said, challenge what has been proposed, but make sure that if it has a chance he does not shoot it down needlessly. Moreso than anyone else in the room, The old Leafeon had very strong Faith in The Original One, though he was not zealously religious. Arceus had blessed his family after all, and Pluto has felt the God's reassuring presence and power emanating from the Plate he wore since he had been only an Eevee. Especially now he could feel the weight of the chain acutely. This talk of Arceus in such an objective light was...upsetting, to say the least. Pluto stayed silent, Frost having asked the question that needed to be asked. He was a little surprised to find out about Rebirth's past second-in-command, but considering what Rebirth was like before Alfred...yeah. At Raith's mention of having fought one of the elites -or possibly a mortal with the Pendant?- Rev asked the question pertinent to that. So he stayed silent, processing what he has heard, drawing from what he knows, and was already formulating the best way to prepare his guild for such a campaign, and made a mental tally of all the Pendants he knew of. Flying was with The Scyther, Ground with himself, Dark with the Mother Goddess, Dragon with the enemy...and as far as Pluto knew, the rest were either with the Elite or in the mortal world and couldn't tell which was where. Suicune didn't feel that it was her place to speak or give input; she had been invited to simply listen. So she remained sitting in a shadowed corner, watching. Though most of those were assembled were mortal, they were highly regarded by other mortals and as she was within their walls, it would be disrespectful to disregard their ranking. She frowned at the mention of the Raikou volunteering as legendary bait though, and finally spoke up. "I offer my help as well, if I may." It would suck just standing back and watching one of her fellow Beast Trio trying not to get murdered when she herself was also quick and agile, able to run and evade an attacking pursuer.

Tolin & Desmond" That's good to hear, then. I've explained this all far too many times now." Seriously. It was getting kind of... boring. How many times would one man have to divulge the truth of the universe? Though the fact that he had killed an Elite was... interesting. " ...It would be nice if it was that easy, but I doubt it. Even if that was a real Elite and not just a random mortal, the ones remaining are the most powerful. They have been around for a long, long time... I would wager that Ariados had simply lived a little longer than he should have." Raith was strong, but not that strong. The ones still around had survived century after century of miraculously strong individuals. With the exception of perhaps Sasha, they would all be too strong for him to fight. He closed his eyes for a moment. Frost wanted to know what he needed of them? Well, that was simple enough. " It's not hard to explain, Frost, but it may be hard to swallow. I need you all to be willing to die for this world. I entered this fight ready to make any sacrifice necessary. This is not a fight we will win without death. We must all prepare to lose everything. Our friends, our family and our subordinates. We are waging war against god, his legion and..." He stopped mid-sentence and rubbed one scythe thoughtfully against his chin. " Ah, yes, of course. I forgot to mention that." That was important. That was the final boss. " Pardon the sudden shift in topic, but in my explanation of what is necessary for survival I forgot to mention where Darkrai fits into this." Really, he should have planned his speech a bit more carefully. He had only really considered fear mongering. " Essentially, Darkrai took over the leader of the elite. The Elite only speak to Arceus through their leader, effectively allowing Darkrai to give commands. He is also the father of Creaus's host, though that has little relevance." It didn't really matter in the long run. Tolin cleared his throat quietly and then continued speaking as if he hadn't revealed something new and disturbing. " Now then... Unless anyone else has any major questions, with Lucinda's permission I would like to outline our course of action." He had explained everything, more-or-less. At the very least, everyone knew what they needed. Something might have slipped through the cracks, but... Ah well.

FrostThe Arcanine flattened his ears. He wasn't prepared to lose everything. That wasn't something he'd been prepared for at all. But, when the fate of the world depended on him being prepared, well, it put a lot into perspective. He had a lot to talk about to his companions, and to his family. He had a lot of people to see, too. If he was going to go into this knowing that he might lose everything... he had to make some more arrangements. "That's a request I'll have to warm to." He admitted seriously. "It's something I have to accept, not decide." His dark eyes were fixed on the Scyther as he changed the topic yet again. Impatience flickered within him, but it quickly died again as it was revealed that they would also be fighting Darkrai, on top of this. Power. That was almost inevitably what all of this was about. Darkrai wanted something, and the rest of the world would suffer the consequences of his greed. The world needed all of the original legendaries to function properly; what would happen to them, if Arceus was killed? Would the mortal Pokemon suffer? Would the immortals suffer? What if they were wrong entirely? There were just so many questions, and no one would have a real answer to any of them. He would have to stick through this in silence for a while, if he was to accept the risk of what they were planning to do.

  Solaris---Tempest
"Go ahead Tolin, I'm sure we're all dying to hear this plan in all it's mastery. I mean...the summary was so delightful." Once more in her seat, Tempest made clear her feelings towards the matter with her sarcastic tone, but aside from that she voiced no objections. Either she felt it was the best option or she actually, secretly, liked the idea of killing god. It was hard to tell with her sometimes.
Solaris is still hiding under the table. Ignore him.
   Ivan---Raith---Goldclaw
"Sorry, chief." Raith responded to the elderly Zangoose. "Didn't think it was anything but a worthless trinket at the time so I chucked it. Green really isn't my color." His joke was soured by the implication of a lost relic that would surely fall into the wrong hands, paws, claws...whatever.
Ivan glanced at Suicune at her comment, his tail flicked to the side in thought as he regarded the younger semi-legendary.
The gold and white Absol remained silent during the conversation, aside from an occasional smirk at some word or another.

Lucinda---&--- Scarface---&--- RevRev grunted at Raith's joking tone. Now was not the time for cute little remarks. Lucinda cleared her throat and nodded to Tolin. "Go ahead, Tolin. After you're finished, I'd also like Rev to speak," She explained. "After that, if their is no objection, I'd like the Guild Masters to go back and start rebuilding their guilds. Scarface, you should inform Eira or Mikhail of everything that was discussed today." Although Lucinda did feel for Eira and her current state, her absence was definitely a mark against her. Scarface lowered his head in a deep nod.

Tolin & DesmondThe attitude of Frost and Tempest had been expected overall. Frost was uncomfortable with his position and the situation magnified that one hundredfold. Tempest was still angry, perhaps even quietly panicked. Her aggression was admissible. On to the plan of the moment, then. " For the time being, we need to organize the guilds. The Guilds of Blazing Fire, Shimmering Ice and Roaring Thunder will need to choose new members to take command, with the exception of Rave who shall maintain his position. Additionally, in accordance with the changes to the guild charter, Lady Neon and Epitaph shall take the position of Advisor for the guild of the Morning Star and the guild of the Sun respectively." He took a quick glance at Frost and Pluto before continuing. " Lady Neon understands the situation in full and is quite wise. Frost, I know it's sudden, but please accept her aid. She will help you steer the guild. And, as for Epitaph... She is as aware of the situation as the general public, but she is clever. She should be able to help manage the guild on a more social level." Really, that was just code for "keep an eye on Solaris". " Furthermore, please choose a second in command. Blade has been absent from his position for far too long. You of all people, Pluto, should understand the necessity." Pluto who was so near death. Pluto who understood his mortality more than most. He would see the need. " And for the time being, that is the extent of our actions as a group. The guilds were all heavily damaged and attempting to work as a group would be fruitless. For the time being, the Guild of the Sun shall act independently to pursue the remaining pendants as well as defeating Nico. Desmond will retrieve the pages personally." A quiet but clearly audible "Awwwwwww" sounded from outside the hall. " For now, we shall tell the guild members only that the pendants are extremely dangerous. The pokemon using them are insane and extremely powerful, with the only way to beat them requiring the removal of the pendant beforehand. The details in relation to Arceus and the Balance are not to be mentioned. We shall reconvene once the last of the pendants have been retrieved, at which point we will begin to plan as a united front. As Lucinda said, please focus on reconstructing your guilds. Also, if you have any potential allies, please contact them or Rebirth. We're going to need all the help we can get." They would likely be able to understand the reasons. They couldn't tell the public the truth, at least certainly not all of it. There would be a mass panic. Nothing good would come from it. The guild members would flee in droves to avoid clashing with demigods. It wasn't a smart thing to do.

FrostFrost's jaw dropped. Lady Neon was the Tribal Espeon that had been staying with the Guilds of Sun and Rebirth for the past month or so. He quickly snapped his jaws shut, for fear of looking just stupid, and nodded, swallowing nervously. "The Guild of the Morning Star will welcome her wisdom." He answered formally, although, secretly, he was still absorbing what this meant. Their guild finally had a proper advisor. Their main team, all quite young in age, seemed to compliment the older Pokemon. She would hopefully give them the essence of maturity and intelligence that they needed, but he wasn't as sure about tact. He'd never met the Espeon properly, so he could only hope that she had a way with words. He fell silent as Tolin continued, listening thoroughly. He wasn't about to go against the Scyther's wishes, but he felt a little resentment that he could not warn his family. Perhaps it was better that they didn't know; fear was not something he wanted them to feel, especially if this was quite possibly the ending of the world. He didn't speak as he announced that the Sun Guild would be gathering the remaining pendants; it was to be expected. They had suffered the least damage in the attack, and it could only be them, right now, who were able to spare the man-power to go and retrieve the pendants. He wished them well; he doubted that the Elite would allow themselves to be so easily defeated. He glanced from Tolin to the Zangoose and Lucinda, and back again, his ears twitching. His side was aching badly now, the painkillers wearing off. He felt a flash of impatience, but did not voice it. The meeting was almost over, he felt; at least he'd sat through the first half.
