Ara had a few strawberries in her mouth. She chewed on them, giving herself time to think. "Hmmmm, sometime soon," she asked, looking at Odi for his opinion.

Odi stood with his mouth open over the pig staring at the two in a comedic way. He quickly cleared his throat. "Well...urh..." He had planed not to do "anything" with Ara but now that plan backfired.
"You see...mom...those strawberries look good!" He said immediately popping one in his mouth to think of a response.
"That's good to hear. I know they'll come out as beautiful as you." She smiled as she watched her son stammer over his words. "Yes Mr. Odi."
Finally with an idea he spoke quickly, "See I want to enjoy time with Ara before we bring little life into the world." He said feeling like he dodged the bullet.
((Need a moment grab a strawberry!))

Ara giggled a little. A thought had occured to her. It would take a major burden off their furture potential family. Not that Ara liked this idea, not at all. She was frowning a little as she ate another strawberry. The Shadow Beast said Odi's first kit. Not hers. So if.....
Ara dismissed the thought and moved in to eat some of the pig.

"Whats so funny my queen?" He asked Ara with a smile. He really hopped she didn't find his sudden lost of words funny.
He smiled as he went ate another strawberry. "Isn't it kind of early for kit talk mom?"
"It's never too early. Besides sooner or later your going to find out you got some little paws on the even if you don't like it." She said still with her smile. "Want to share your thought Ara?" She asked curious.

Ara's face gentled. Normally she didn't feel this turbluent. It must have been the previous day's events combined with the nightmare.
"I was just laughing at the situation. Normally children don't choke up when their parents ask them about when to expect grandkits." She chuckled again as Odi's face replayed in her mind.

Odi watched her silently then shrugged at her comment. "Well I'm not really the daddy figure." He said as he watched the two of them. "The thought never crossed his mind before to even get a mate. All he wanted was to just not die a stupid cause.

Ara brushed her tail against Odi. "I'm sure you'd make a fine father. Though," she said, face turning thoughtful, "Sin probably couldn't be allowed to know you had kits. Could he?"

"The kits in general yeah. He probably be very energetic about it. Although he will question who the mother is." He said giving her a lick. "And I'll tell him my queen." He said simply as he ripped another piece out of the pig to eat.

Ara blushed a little at the queen title. "As long as it doesn't get you in trouble," she said, nipping another piece of pork from the carcass. She gently butted her head against Odi's, grinning, and ate the mouthful she had taken.

"I'll talk my way out of it." He said as he felt her head butt him. "Your so abusive." He chuckled as he laid down and rolled on his back.

She laughed. "And I give you permission to return the abuse. If you can catch me, anyway." Her grin was playful. After the run to and from the beach the first time they met, both had a good handle on the other's speed. Odi could keep up with her, but she could change direction a lot quicker without losing much speed.

"Oh really now. I know I can catch you...eventually." He smiled as he rolled over and got up. She was faster then him too but he had more endurance. "Hmm, I think I'll bit your ear off!" He said making as if to stalk her.

Ara chucked and mock growled, going down into a fight stance. "You wouldn't dare get so close to my teeth!" She gave a playful bark/growl and leapt a bit to the side.

He lowered his head and smiled at her. "I been closer to danger. Like your snoring!" He said smiling as he started to try and circle her. "It's okay if you give, I promise not to bite your ear completely off." He said pouncing at her quickly.

((Gonna do a dice roll to make this more interesting. Two 10-sided dice. If I get two evens, Odi landed his hit. Two odds, and Ara dodged. Even and odd, she dodged but stumbled a little.))
Ara snorted at the comment. "Ladies don't snore!"
When Odi pounced at her she grinned. This was fun! She dug her claws into the forest floor and dodged to the left.
