"Does every male dream of being a father?" she asked, a small smile on her lips, grateful for a topic change. She looked at him and wondered for a few moments if he was talking about himself. She opened her mouth to ask but a loud rumble caught her attention and she saw Faiyrn's tail dissappear into the trees and she licked his cheek before racing off after the Alphess.

She came back with a limp in her step. For the most part, she was uninjured and that was only because the darkness had healed her when it took her over. Her heart was heavy. She had tried to fight to protect these wolves and she ended up Attacking an ALPHA of all wolves... She sighed heavilly. She noted the Alphess had disappeared somewhere and she wondered if she was alright. Hiding and slinking along in the shadows she returned to where she had left Tsensu and she looked around and whispered into the breeze, "Tsensu.... where are you?" and she laid down to rest her sore for leg which had been strained in the last fall from her attack on the Darkness.

Tsensu heard Kosheart call his name and he was delighted. He was worried though, she didn't great him with the same delight he felt. "Kosheart?!" he followed the sound of her voice and found her lying down, which deeply concerned him. "Kosheart! You alright?" He hovered over her smelling her fur for any traces of blood to indicate whether she was hurt or not.

"I just sprained my paw, I'm alright..." she burrowed her face in his neck, finding his scent calmed her. "It attacked, Tsensu... the Darkness was here... the bright one... the Orange Alpha... I attacked him..." she whimpered. "I fell and took a blow to the head and the darkness... it got it's hold on me... for a few minutes.. but there was a flying..purple rabbit. It snapped me back to reality." the proof of that lie in the scratches on her face where the little thing had been digging, trying to avert her attention from the other Alpha. "I screwed up big time... but no one died... and we won the fight." she sighed. "For now..." leaning into him she hid her face in shame.

Tsensu didn't know about another Alpha who was orange, but at the time, he didn't care. What mattered was that Kosheart was still alive after the last encounter with the darkness. Fortunatly for Tsensu, wherever Kosheart went, she had friends. He saw the tiny scratches on her face, so he layed down infront of her and tenderly licked her face. His tongue graced over the mark that made her become controlled by the darkness. He hated that mark. He could of swore that the mark left a bitter taste on his tongue when he grazed it. "Maybe if I was there, this wouldn't of happened." he felt guilty for not following Kosheart. "Don't run off away from me like that. I was worried, and I had the right to be worried." He thought about how the battle might've played out in his head. How it might've been different if he was there. "I want to be with you every second of the day. I don't want anything to happen to you from here on out!" Thinking about what he had said Tsensu spoke again. "I'm....sorry if I come off as overprotective...I just don't want to see you hurt like this." He continued to lick her face.

When he lay down before her she scooted closer to him and she closed her eyes when he licked over her face, her ears laying back as he soothed the sting. She sighed softly and when he expressed his worry she licked his chin and nosed his cheek. "It's okay, you had no idea Tsensu, this isn't your fault. I saw the alpess on the move and remembered I was supposed to talk to her..." she murmured. When he spoke to her and told her he wanted to be with her she was taken aback, and when he appologized she shook her head and curled into him, laying her head on his paws, leaning her head against her shoulder and looked up at him. "I don't mind... you're the first person who I've ever opened up to, and you've accepted me without question... and you're the first person in my life that's been so protective of me without an ulterior motive... and I can't tell you what that means to me..."

Her touching him made his heart race. What she said to him made him smile. He looked at her and said "Well, the truth is... I really like you. I wasn't able to keep my eyes off you when I first saw you. And I think that motivated me to protect you in any way I can." He cradled her lower half by wrapping his tail around her.

His words made that unfamiliar flutter come back to her chest and being in such close proximity to him made her feel giddy and almost Pup-like. She looked at him and smiled softly when he did. "I can't tell you how glad I am to hear that... but I've already started trouble Tsensu... I don't know what I'm going to do to fix this." she lowered her ears and worry clouded her eyes as she looked away, into the forest around them.

Tsensu sighed. He wished she wasn't so worried. Didn't he make her feel safe? Yes, maybe, but not safe from herself. "There's no need to be worried Kosheart, I'm here." He looked in the direction that she was looking

She stood slowly and gazed at him for a quiet moment, licking his cheek she nodded towards the trees. "I smell water... come with me?" she asked, head down, ears back as she gazed back at him. She flicked her tail for a moment before trotting into the Forest
