Kina sighed in relief at what he said. She was glad to know that they wouldn't have to worry about catching a cold. Especially Frey considering he was slashed by the dolphins.
"Well that makes me happy. I was a little worried that you might catch a cold." She then headed out of the water and laughed at what he said. "Yes I would rather like to smell nice tomorrow.

"even if it was a bit cold, you wouldnt have to worry. However i would be concerned about you. Shoen tended to live in cold snowy area's so I grew up liking the cold weather." Frey told her smiling. "We should probably go take a quick dip in the river. Hopefully that will get some of the sea weed and salt water smell out."

She blushed a little. She had forgotten that Frey use to live in the cold weather. He was a perfect fox for surviving in Caledonia when winter comes around.
"You will be a great survivor when the winter comes around." She smiled at him. "Your right. A dip in the river would take the smell away." She began leading the way to the river.

Frey smiled and leaned foward licking Kina on the top of her nuzzle. "Since most of the predators wouldnt dare try attacking in the winter perhaps I should help Tokala with the hunting dont you think". The moonlight suddenly peaked through the clouds again and hit the water. With the dolphins still playing in the background Frey wondered if this was the time he should ask his question.

Kina giggled as he licked her. She really liked spending time with Frey. When she was around him she felt different. Like she was when she was little. She looked at him and nodded.
"I agree." She smiled at him. "I think you would make a great hunter. After all you helped defend out Tribe from that cat." She looked past him at the ocean at the moon hitting the water.

"and led the same cat there. Gah that was not one of my more brilliant moves as a paladin. Of course I wasn't a paladin then" Frey pointed out babbling. should he ask now, but Kina could say no. If she did he would just try and salvage the result as best he could so they could remain friends. "uh miss Kina" Frey started, he rarely tended to call her by her name preferring grape maiden but the situation did call for it. "would you.... would you do the honor of becoming frey's mate?" he asked. There he had said it all he needing now was Kina's thoughts on the matter.

Once again she couldn't help but get out a giggle. He was right. He had been the one to lead the cat to the Tribe. Though if he didn't he probably wouldn't be there.
"True..." She looked at him. "Your weren't then... but also... I don't think you would be here today if you didn't..." She blushed. "I'm rather glad you did..." She had hoped that made a little more sense then how it sounded.
She blushed looking over at him as he called her name. He tended to call her many things but when he called her 'Miss' it sounded much more important. For some reason she couldn't stop blushing and looked over at him hoping it did't show.
"Y... Yes?" the moment he said it she did't know how to react. Of course she did suddenly tackle the male in a state of excitement.
"Yes, yes, yes!" She said in a high pitched excited tone. Her tail showing excitement as well as it went back and forth in a blur.

Frey, who was not paying attention suddenly looked up in utter joy as he was tackled and the both of them sailing onto the beach. On top of smelling like salt he was also going to be covered in sand but Frey came to the conclusion he didn't care what he looked like. "Really...? Truely..?" Frey asked happily as if he couldn't believe it his mind deciding to take a trip to happy land. "I'm so happy" Frey felt like crying if it wasn't so utterly unmasculine.

Kina couldn't help herself. She continued to do a kind of happy squeak as her tail zoomed back and forth. She couldn't believe it. She was hopping that some day he would ask her. She wasn't ever sure but when they were around etch other she felt like they belonged together. She was never really sure if he felt the same way but now.. finally she was happy to know he did.
"Yes!" She nodded again as she nuzzled his neck. "Me too... I... I cant believe it..." Of course at that time she began to get the tears in her eyes and the sniffles indicating she was going to cry. "Oh dear... I think im... Im going to cry... if i do Im really sorry...." crying

"Well if you do cry its probably because the happiness of both of us. We should probably tell all the others in the morning" Frey chuckled. "and perhaps after the excitement is died down again we can start our way back to the river."

Kina smiled and chuckled her eyes.
"I'm sorry..." She pulled away from him as she looked away. "Yes... We must tell the Seer... but in the morning." Her tail wagged happily. "Oh right... the river. I forgot in all the excitement." She blushed.

"yes it gives us time to just know that ourselves" Frey stated for some odd reason not wanting anyone other than them to know just yet. He attributed it to the fact he always thought if he gave voice and told some one else it would be taken away. He knew now it was a foolish thought but apparently it was still lingering some where in his heart.
"yes we dont want to listen to the others complain when we try to tell them the good news" Frey laughed.

She smiled at him. She could understand that he wanted to keep it to himself and she was perfectly fine with that. To tell the truth she was also one who wanted to spend some time with it just the two of them knowing about her and Frey being mates.
"Of course. Its understandable." She smiled as she nuzzled his neck with her head. "And that would be bad. We don't want to stink when we brake the news to them." She chuckled.

"of course it would ward off Flynn and drake" frey teased and looked up at the night sky of course he wasnt watching where he was going and as theyh entered a dark patch of land not accessible to the moon light he tripped on some evil root that was obviously out to get him and went rolling into the water." Frey spat out the liquid as he resurfaced and looked up at his grape maiden... all his. "I found the river" he smiled.

Kina giggle at what Frey said about Flynn and Drake. They were always teasing her about Frey and why they wouldn't get together.
"Oh yes it would... in fact that would be a good thing... Im kinda tired of them bothering me all the time." She chuckled then stopped and watched as he went tumbling into the river. She giggled. "I see that." She followed and jumped in after him. "Ahhhh... feels good."
