Odi looked sideways at her when she placed her head on his shoulder. "I wouldn't laugh at you..." he said silently as he looked back at her silently. "I'm sorry for running your day." he said feeling partially better.

She laughed. "The day hasn't even properly begun! You haven't ruined it either. Actually, it was kinda funny. Not that you were scared, or anything like that," she hastily assured him. "It was just funny like watching kits get spooked."
Smooth. Real smooth. Ara cringed a little and moved away. "Not that I was laughing at you or anything, I just, I just-," she stuttered. Her brain was screaming 'Shut up!' about as loud as it could, and she obeyed.
Ara looked down at the ground, completely embarassing by her thoughtless outburst.

Odi looked sideways at her as she talked. He looked at her silenlty with a blank look as she went about degrading him. He looked away for a moment his face held a tight frown as he thought about what she said. He looked sideways at her again seeing her look.
He smiled a little before giving a small chuckle. "It was kind of funny how quick I ran. Faster then yesterday!"

"A lot faster," Ara said, with a slightly abashed grin. She peered up at Odi. Her first impression of him had been someone who was proud. What she said could probably have been taken as slander. Thinking back it might have been best to keep quiet, but her social skills could use a little more work.
"You're not mad at me, are you?"

Odi smiled back as he saw her grin, humility was a part of life. He might as well embrace it. "Glad I'm faster then a fish on land." He said smiling at her. He blinked as he got her question and shook his head. "No I'm not. Why would I be mad at you?" He asked watching her for a moment before moving closer to her.

Ara laughed at that. "You're so proud, Odi. Of everything you are and commit to. Proud people rarely enjoy other's laughing at their expense!"
Though she could see he really wasn't mad at her, and it caused her mood to lighten considerably. She hated to think Odi might be upset with her just cause she'd opened her mouth and shoved her paw right in it. Whatever that meant......

"Pride before the fall I guess." He said as he walked and watched her. "I don't really know. If you had of been another fox I might of tried to hurt you. But your not another fox." He said thinking over what she said. She had a point, he never liked that. But he didn't mind her. "Besides, you looked so scared yesterday with that snake." He smiled at her slyly. He was going to forget.

Ara matched his sly grin perfectly. "Not as scared as you did with those whales!" She playfully swatted at him and then ran off, laughing in a way that dared him to keep up.
((She's playing tag >.> Just didn't bother to say so XD I figured we could time skip to Cruor land and they say bye, or you just post him running after her and we could leave it at that. Your call.))

Odi laughed a little at her joke. "So they have names." He said shaking his head. He smiled as he chased after her, once again hoping this feeling lasted.
