p.519Ashworth "Gray drank tea? Now that's one for the books," he says with a laugh, "You hate tea. I remember you had a sore throut once, and the suggested method was warm tea with honey in it, you refused it every time. When the finnaly made her drink it, she felt icker than ever. No herbal infusions for her." Ash: "Okay, okay, so I won a few ribbons at the fairs for archery, so what?" Gray:"He's just being modest, he's actually one of the best archers in our town. Quite an achievement actually....Defense and arrows, so is he going to shoot at me?" p.520She looks at Ash. "Go to the bow and start shooting as many arrows as you can as fast as you can towards me. Ash:He gives her a puzzled look, but goes off to do as she says. "Good luck to her," he whispers. Pynk Chan Pynk was just walking outside when she saw a woosh of dirt flying around a young girl. ::Well, that's certainly unusual!:: Pynk walks closer to it and sees that the dirt is not actually flying, but being made into a barrier. An arrow or two were ricocheteing off of it. ::Yikes! I'm glad I wasn't close for that! Who on earth is doing that?::As she walked closer, she saw that a young man was shooting arrows at the woman behind the earthen shield. She was about to raise and alarm until she saw Mercury standing by, watching. "What on earth is going on?" Pynk shouted outloud. "Oh, forgive the bad pun!" she adds, blushing. Grayhurst Gray waves to Pynk, "At least Ash wasn't a clod about it," she says nudging him again, "How are you today?" Ashworth "Oh, come on Gray, that was horrible," he sasy wincing once again as she gets him right in the bruise. Pynk Chan "Earth singing?" Pynk raises an eyebrow as she walks over to where they were all standing. The shield of dirt was gone and the boy had lowered his bow. "Don't tell me Benwain Sedai got to you, too!" Grayhurst Gray gives a look of mock fear at the prospect of extra lessons. ((also here on the pages, a lovely little convo which is too long to put in, but fun to read)) p.522Quote: She released the Source and stood eyeing the arrows strewn around the field. "Well...I certainly made a mess didn't I?" Smiling, she embraced the Source again and proceeded to use Air to pile all the arrows back into their quivers. Pynk Chan Pynk was close enough to overhear Gray's comment to Ash. "You know, there is a great teacher here for the bow - Master Harl. He has been training me every morning for a long time now. I'm sure he'd appreciate a student that can actually hit what he aims for, for a change!" Grayhurst "Heh, better than I could have. You would be wiping me off the wall of the Tower after this display," she says, "I am glad we will be using pebbles, much nicer than arrows, under the right curcumstances, of course." ((And here is Gray's triumph over pebbles! Quite a moment for her RP charrie.)) p.523Grayhurst "Well, I was thinking, earth falls to the ground because gravity pulls it. If the air is pushing on it with enough fource to equalize the pull of gravity, then the heavier the pebble is, the more force is needed to hold it up, and since the weave was static, I could increase the weight of the pebble and cause the pebble to fall....or something to that effect," she says, her face blushing. Ashworth Ash just shakes his head and grins, "Sometimes she talks like that. Congrats Gray for doing whatever you did!" Grayhurst "Thanks," she says, blushing even more. I DID it. I actually did it! I controlled my weave, nothing exploded, nothing splattered, nothing fizzled, it worked! Oh, praise the Light, it worked!Mercuryangel "Very good work Gray. And a very good explanation too." Light, I actually understood that. I'm spending too much time with the Browns."Pynk? Care to try now?"

p.523-533 A lovely mini battle p.531-2Beguiler Noticing Mercury open her eyes, she looks back down. "You're quite welcome Merc. Expect me to chide you later over the foolishness of rushing into a battle." Grayhurst Gray's eyes open to narrow slits. She quickly shuts them against the light in her room. Damm that bright light in here, hurts my eyes. Urgh, I feel like a merchants cart ran over me, horses, goods, and all.((Also, I must say, Ash is scaring far too many novices with already wrecked nerves.... blaugh )) Ashworth "Hey, your eyes are open," he says. He grins as she gives him a 'No duh' look. "I know, I know. At least you're improving." Grayhurst She wiggles aagain for yes, and also tries to move her mouth along with it. What comes out is a sort of garbled gurgling sound. Greaaaat, I can gurgle, but I can't exactly speak yet. Fun fun.Quote: The next morning, Gray wakes up, still feeling like a cart ran over her, but more like it ran over her a few days ago rather than that minute. Gray tries for a few minutes to get herself out of bed. She is quite stiff, and more than a little sore, but after a few tries, she is up. With a shuffling walk, she is up and off to the books. Now, if I'm caught shuffling, I'll probably get sent straight back to my room, and that won't be fun. Ah well, here I go. After taking more than twice the amount of time needed to get there, Gray finally makes it to the library. She shuffles up to one of the nearest Brown Sisters. Grayhurst Gray thanks the Brown sister profusly for the books on Earth Singing. Who would have thought that there were more than these, thinks Gray as she shuffles out of the Library with a stack of books that she can't see over. Mercuryangel She winced inwardly as her sore muscles reminded her of last night's poisoning. The Yellow on duty had berated her and lectured for a good while before letting her eat her breakfast and leave with a warning not to channel. She blinked and rubbed her eyes. It was still there. I'm going mad. I'm seeing a pile of floating books...I think that poison went farther than they thought, maybe I should go back to the Yellows.That's when she notices a pair of legs and novice white under the books and sighs. Gray hears the sigh, and peers around the stack of books. "Mercury Sedai! Are you feeling better?" Mercuryangel Ignoring the urge to shuffle, she walked over to the other side of the book pile and was surprised to see Gray there. "Hello Gray. You had me thinking I was going mad for a moment. An encounter with the Browns?" Grayhurst "Nope, you're not mad. And, ah, yes, I did have a run-in. Actually, it was more like a shuffle-in, but at least I have some things to read," she says, grinning. Grayhurst "I kind of got shoved out of the library for coming in while I was still a little weak, but since I could carry the books out, they let me. If I'm so weak, why let me out with the books? I guess maybe they thought that I needed something to read in my quarters, or that having a genuine curiosity was something they were looking for, or I don't know." Ashworth As he lopes through the Tower, he sees Gray and Mercury talking together by a huge stack of books. "Hello Mercury Sedai," he says with a bow, "Hi Gray! I see you both a looking much more alive today." ((Oh the irony....)) p.536Quote: "Calm! I mean no harm..." Ashworth "I mean no harm either, I am just wary of strange men who rise up out of the ground." Mercuryangel She looked at the man. "How did you get here? Why do you seem surprised to find yourself here?" When we're the ones who should be surprised at making an entrance fit for a fade or gholam.

p.536-540 were just a little weird.... p.541Mercuryangel She looked at Gray. "He's not dead and perhaps he's mad, but after that change I'm starting to wonder if it wouldn't be better if it really was us that was mad instead of him." p.541-547 are about the guard watch on the ang'real room... p.546 Grayhurst "I tell you, I am just no good with Water!" shouts Gray in her lesson, "I can do fine with some other weaves, but I know that I cannot work with Water!" Mensa Sedai just gives her one of the famous Aes Sedai stares. "You just haven't been trying hard enough. Water can be quite simple if you put your mind to it," she says. The other novices in the lesson giggle to each other over her predicament. "I think you working with the Keeper of the Chronicles has swelled your head. Do you think you are too good for my lessons?" she challenges. "No, I do not think I am too good, I just know that I am no good at Water. Why bring Mercury Sedai into this? She has been helping me work on expanding my training. I have nothing against your training. The only thing is that I am stuggling with water when I know that there are other elements that I can actually work with." Have I said too much? Oh Light, don't let this get me in trouble. Don't mention Earth, don't mention Earth, don't mention Earth...."So you can't work with Water. What can you do, novice Grayhurst? We know you have a block, how do you know that you have broken your block? If you haven't, then there's no reason for you to say you can not do something. If you have, well then, I would like to see it. Demonstrate to the class your broken block.""Gladly, Mensa Sedai." Gray thinks for a moment, What can I do do show that I can channel without giving away too much? Ah, maybe this will work....Gray opens herself to saidar, the joy of the One Power seeps through her entire being. She pulls on a thread of air and uses it to sweep up all of the dust in the room into one pile. She then channels some earth into it to mold it together into a small compact ball that is quite dense. She floats it up to her hand with some more air, looks it over, then floats it over to Mensa's desk. "Is that sufficient?" Grayhurst Later that day, after her extra kitchen duty and cleaning duty for the Infermery, Gray heads over to her room to collapse for a few minutes before heading out again. Okay, so I didn't need to be cheeky, but Mensa was getting on my nerves. And I thought that two diswashing duties would be bad, adding in cleaning the sheets from the Infermery, dear Light that was horrible. No more being cheeky, but maybe she'll understand now that I can channel, just that I have some trouble with Water. Novice lessons & thoughts, etc. p.551Mercuryangel She thought about the prank she & Azalea had pulled as Accepted, involving the roses. They had plucked quite a few roses and used Earth to make the thorns larger and sharper. Then they had put them in a Accepted's bed. She hadn't noticed anything and since her room smelled like roses, didn't check anything. She got into bed and well, her screams sounded like a yowling cat but much worse. They'd never gotten caught but she had quite a few laughs over that. She still did as a matter of fact and smiled. A wonderful argument about the positions of Warders...jam packed with insults and annoyances...

p.560Pynk Chan ::Tea? Last night he calls us witches, and today he offers us tea? Grayhurst "And no thank you Piro, I'm not particularly fond of tea." She shoots Ash another glare when he tried to hide his laughter behind a fit of coughing. Ashworth Ash accepts another nudge in the ribs, this one no one notices. He smiles and nods, knowing that if he continued speaking, he could gain some more 'light' nudges. Grayhurst Gray listens carefully to Piro's story. Light, it seems as if Amnesia is running rampant through the lands. How horrible it mys feel to have so many holes in your recent memories.1337Piro (My blades are all damascus with a midnight blue scabbard and handles and my bow as well and i dye the string to match and i guess i must have been an assassin of some kind in another life who knows eh? Grayhurst Gray gives an involuntary gulp. How...intersting a thought that is. Azalea Verde : Azalea rises, "I haven't seen any kissing." She says with a mischevious smile. Heading over to get a cup of tea she says softly as she walks past him, "So far." She grins at his shocked look and laughs. Pouring her tea she speaks, "So you didn't want to be civil with us? Well that hurts." she says, still being slightly mocking. Quote: Burn me for a fool and burn my mouth along with it!!!"What? Nothing..." She wished she hadn't said that. I said I wouldn't let anyone know because they'd start to worry to much. :ALL ABOARD for the treeclimbing fest!! It's fun to read, but I'll only post a bit of it here. Mercuryangel She stared at him before staring to laugh. "Oh come on, you can climb a tree. If you try. And you're not all wolf so don't even try to get out of it. You're going to climb a tree because I am. I like to go up there. Come on." Werewolf5 *looks up at her, shakes the leaves out of his hair* u so owe me one for this *groans and stands up on the branch and continues climbing higher up into the tree, climbing up as high as merc* Grayhurst Gray walks over ot the Ogier grove after another grueling day of lessons. She expects it to be empty at this moment, but when she get's there, she sees Mercury, Wolf, and Mirren all playing around. "Hello! I didn't expect there to be many people here today," she looks up at Mercury, "And I would never have expected the Keeper of the Chronicles to be climbing trees!" Mercuryangel She smiled down to Gray. "Which is exactly why the Keeper never does it where anyone can see!! Care to come up Gray?" She looked at Wolf as he pulled up next to her. "So why do I owe you anything?" Mirren *Mirren climps up, forgetting she is scared of heights* Mercuryangel Werewolf5 *looks down at the ground* thats y u owe me.....u sure this tree can hold all of us? *feeling the tree swaying lightly in the wind* "Wolf, are you scared of heights? Hmm...no, I'm not sure if it can hold us all.." Mirren *Then she sees how high she got, and doesn't dare to go either down or up* Werewolf5 *looks at merc* im not scared of hights as long as i have a firm foot hold under me Ashworth Ash comes to the the Ogier Grove exhausted from training. He walks over to the tree that's swaying slightly in the nonexistant wind. He comes up to the tree only to find a mass of people in it, most surprisingly Mercury and Gray. "What are all of you doing up there," he shouts. Mystic_Warrior_Dupre *walks up behind ashworth* whats all the commotion here *looks up at the tree seeing all the people in it, raises a eye brow watching them* Grayhurst "This is amazing, I haven't done this since I left my town!" "What does it look like," shouts Gray, "We're climbing a tree! Come on up, it's fun!" Gray grabs ahold of a branch just above her and flips herself up like a gymnist. She laughs as she does another flip around the branch, lands in a handstand, and lowers herslef onto the branch. "Easy as falling of an log!" Mercuryangel She leaned back against the tree and raised an eyebrow at Wolf. "So you're not scared as long as there's a firm foothold underneath? Ok, so does that mean you're scared of heights when there's NO firm foothold underneath? Like now?" She looked down as she saw Ash and Dupre and at the looks on their faces, started laughing. What a sight this must look!! I'm all the way up here with Wolf, Mirren is halfway up, and Gray's climbing up as we speak.Mystic_Warrior_Dupre what in the name of light possessed u people to want to climb up a tree? Werewolf5 im not scared the branches are still rather thick up here but i doubt u could get me to go much higher than this Mercuryangel She then looked at Wolf. "Can't get you to go higher eh? I bet I can." Ashworth "Right, Gray, like I could do that. Some logs aren't that easy to fall off of," he looks up at the tree again, "It does look like fun though..." Ash leaps onto the tree and climbs his way up the tree to the same level that Gray is on. "Quite a view from up here!" Mercuryangel "Oh come on Dupre! It's fun! Don't tell me you're scared of heights?" If he is that'll make three. She looked above where a couple of branches were and then ended as the top of the tree. "Gray, I'm climbing up to the top!! Meet me there?" Smiling, she started to swing herself up to the top of the tree. Her Air woven skirts didn't move one bit as she did so. Werewolf5 *groans* ya i know u'll probly get me going higher until it seems the tree is about the break under my feet Mercuryangel She paused as she heard Wolf. "Well maybe not that high...but close enough. Come on! Don't worry, just climb up! Hey Gray, Ash, come higher, there's a nice view from the top!!" Werewolf5 *watches merc start climbing up higher and follows her up stoping in a different branch, looks down, mutters under his breath* the things i do...Grayhurst Gray uses the branches like uneven bars and vaults and flips her way up the branches. After a few levels, she just climbs up to where Mercury is. "This is wonderful! I can't believe I hadn't done this earlier! Do you do this very often?" Ashworth Ash scrambles up the tree following Gray. Mercuryangel She stops at the top of the tree where the thick branches end and stands up, balancing herself on the branch. She looks out over the Tower grounds and enjoys the view. "Hey Wolf, come up here, you'll like the view!" She looked as Gray popped up next to her and pointed out to the view. "Yes actually, whenever I get the chance, I'm up in one or another of these trees! But this is the first time anybody's seen me." Grayhurst Gray looks at the time and opens her eyes wide. "Oh Light, I'm late for my next lesson!" She lets herself fall through the tree, catching herself on branches as she goes, gracefully coming down. She takes off at a dead run when she hits the bottom waving goodbye to everyone. Werewolf5 *pulls himself up next to merc stands on the branch holding onto another, looks out at the view were merc i pointing* its so amazing *smiling, looks down* that'd be one hell of a fall....just look how many branches u'd hit on the way down.... Mystic_Warrior_Dupre *looks up at merc* there is no way im climbing up in a tree i'd rather take on a fist of fades alone than climb those things Mercuryangel She looked at Dupre and laughed before answering him. "Oh come on Dupre! Wolf did it! So did Ash! And Gray, and Mirren! And me!! You can too." And if you don't I'll just have to be more persuasive won't I?Mercuryangel "These trees won't kill you! They're not poisonous, they're not even dangerous if you touch them! Oh well, you're coming up whehter you like it or not." Embracing the Source, she wove Air around Dupre and started lifting him into the tree branches and off the ground. Mystic_Warrior_Dupre *looks around as i suddenly start floating up into the air, grabs onto the nearest branch and holds onto it trying to hold himself from going up any higher*

We're still tree climbing....lol. p.570Azalea Verde (( Wow...Climbing trees...Light, I haven't climbed a tree in years!!! FUN! The closest I am gunna get anytime soon will be rping so why not?! )) : Azalea had had a long day giving lesson about the Tower to Piro, he was now taking a shower and she took the break to grab a bite to eat. Taking the last bite of her second raw steak, Azalea stands and brushes her hands off. ~As she reached the Ogier Grove, Azalea gapes at the site of all of her friends sitting up in a quite large tree. Laughing hystericly at the sight she walks up to the base, "Light! Is there something so fascinating up there? Or did the trees just kidnap you all?" She looks to Wolf who she is quite shocked to see in a tree, he seemed pretty shocked himself and he smelled of disgruntled uncomfortableness. " You in a tree?!?!" She says to him, "I would have thought you were like me and didn't like to be off the ground!" Weighing her little issue of being part wolf and thus being drawn to the ground with the apparent fun of the tree she decides her love of adventure far outweghs how high up they all are. Using a flow of Air to keep her skirts around her legs, Azalea begins to climb the tree smoothly and swiftly and laughs at the suprising amount of fun she is having. As she reaches the branch with everyone on it she sits next to Wolf and Merc and folds her hands on her lap. "So." she says with a slightly shaky grin. It was alot more frightning when you could see the ground so far away... : Mercuryangel She paused a moment to keep bringing Dupre higher into the tree which was easy since she was still upside down. AWWWW...And the tree climbing ended to get us back to seriousness...pooh....and it was getting amusing too... p.571Azalea Verde Azalea gives her a weak smile, "I realize you don't really like him but he really isn't that bad. Besides, he will no longer call any Aes Sedai a witch, I made sure of that." Azalea grins a bit evily. "Come on, come with me. Please." Azalea pouts her bottem lip out and makes her eyes big then bursts out laughing. Mercuryangel She looked at Azalea and started laughing. "You haven't done that since we were Accepted!! Oh alright, I'll come but we should hurry. Wait, is that him running across the grounds?" She squinted over the trees at the running figure and pointed. Quote: : Azalea sees Piro ahead and as he sees her he jumps out the window. "What in the bloody pit of doom?!?!?!" Mercuryangel She started laughing at the look on Azalea's face, she couldn't help herself. But when she floated out the window she looked down at the scene and winced. Gerias's intro which is very odd...and a lesson for Gray.. p.574Mirren (( scream Merc. When will you stop it with those potatoes *very very very deep sigh*)) Link to the Aes Sedai Testing Room...I'd forgotten about it... Grayhurst Gray skids to a halt just outside Mercury's door, actually banging her head on it. "Of all the luck," she mumbles, "Ow!" She stands there rubbing her head for a moment. Mercuryangel She looked up at the bang and walked over and opened to see Gray with a rather large sore spot on her head. "Gray are you alright?" More on Delving, Gray, Mirren, & Benwain plus Gerias attempting to read the Keeper's records... And then Gerias passes out and we're all very confused...*points below* Mercuryangel She winced as the scream camed and some books went flying into her. "Oh Light, you're alive! Thank goodness! Wait, no, stay awake..the sea?" We see a tidbit of Merc's past and also learn something about Gerias p.580 Merc is kidnapped...Hawk is shielded...Az runs around, and Piro puts up a profile! xd p.584 Az discovers her other brother..and has a memory too! p.585Azalea Verde (( *Hands cookie to fill him up* Okay, let's see. You already know about Gerias so where to begin? Oh yes, okay. I looked in Merc's office to see if she was there and she wasn't so I went into the Amrylin's and one thing led to another and I heard their voices above me and they came down, Gerias told me he was my brother then dissapeared when Balzamon spoke to chase him, Merc and I were meanwhile cleaning up the Amrylin's thrashed office and then I went to get a bite to eat. She was about to leave too when Gerias came back and she had to heal him again and he is currently sleeping in the Amrylin's office. I am on my way to my room to see if Piro is in there and Merc is searching for Wolf because he went off somewhere journeying or some such without telling her so she is following him. Ta Da. *Bows and walks off stage* )) ((Good job on that Az...now we all know what happened in those pages! And a link to ajah pics too.)) Azalea Verde Mercuryangel ((Wow, you have a lot of time on your hands now don't you?)) (( Haha, you have no idea. But that ends tuesday, every morning to around 1 o'clock in the afternoon from tuesday - friday I won't be able to get on. Then I leave town friday afternoon to sunday afternoon. Then I am free till the 2nd when I start school at which time I will be limited to around two hours on week days. *Takes a breath* But at this point, yes, way too much. lol. xp )) ((*takes a moment to figure out what Az just said.* Wow....ok....))

p.599Azalea Verde Light, men are such woolheads! Of course, being a Green she had to admit that they were cute woolheads. Grayhurst Hours later, Gray exits her lesson. If she had been stormy before her lesson, she was a tempest now. If her look could freeze before, now it seems as if she could melt cuendillar with her gaze. I ask one bloody thing, to learn one bloody trick. Blood and Ashes, you would have thought I asked her to bloody teach me to channel flaming Balefire! Blood and bloody Ashes! All I asked was how you could hide your weaves, inverting she called it. Light, is it a crime to want to learn?Mercuryangel LuneDeSang "Man Merc, you sure have gotten fat. Of course you always did eat to much." she smiled innocently at her old friend. "What's that supposed to mean?? You're the eater here." LuneDeSang Lune looked at her aghast. "I am not! You always ate more than I did. Even mother complained that whenever you would visit she had to go to the market to make sure her children could also be fed!." She flipped her short hair "No use denying it Merc, I'm the smaller and cuter of the two of us." She smiled at her childhood friend sweetly Mercuryangel She laughed. "Whatever you think. Besides, it's not as if I ate that much. And anything extra I did eat I made up for by bringing food from the inn. But I didn't eat a lot. You may be smaller but that was why you could never reach the first shelf or climb onto a horse without being on someon's shoulders. And cuter, maybe you are. But I'm the one that's going to have a ageless face. So there." She grinned back at her friend. This was like old times. Grayhurst Gray drags herself over to her cramped room and flops down on her bed. Dish duty is a pain. Double dish duty is a horror. Triple dish duty? That's a nightmare come to life and beating you over the head. Light, I never though it would end! Being at the bottom of the channeling food chain is...is...there's no word for it. No wonder so few women make it to Aes Sedai, she thinks, staring at the ceiling of the room. Grayhurst Gray straightens up and breathes a huge sigh of relief. Light, that was not good, but burn me if it couldn't have been worse. Thank the Light.She sits back down on her bed and sees the model of Bobith still standing on the stool. Jokingly she calls to it as if it were a dog, "C'mere Bobith! C'mon, walk over to me." Her eyes go as wide as the dishes she washed today as she sees the dirt model jerkily walk across the stool towards her. "Bloody and Bloody Ashes," she says, "It moved." The figure walks off of the stool and falls to the ground. It gets up and continues walking until it hits her leg, then it stops. "Bobith, get, get back onto the stool," she says shaking. It doesn't move. "Walk to the stool." It walks over to the stool and stops when it hits the leg of it. "Climb the stool." It wraps it's arms around the leg and starts to climb up to the top of it. "Light, what have I done?" Just then, her exhaustion from the day catches up with her, and she falls asleep while sitting up. As her head hits the pillow, the model reaches the top of the stool and stands there. Grayhurst Gray grabs a couple of minutes to herself and collapses on her bed. Double duties may not sound that bad, but in reality, oh Light! Double dish duty, double laundry duty, double garden duty, on and on and on it goes. Lessons in the morning before breakfast, lessons throughout the day, lessons just before bed when I am ready to fall asleep, lessons whenever I am not doing a duty. Blood and Ashes! ... I swear she's not sane like the other sisters:: Pynk thought bitterly to herself. Some sisters like to dunk her in water, while Benwain tried to BURY HER IN DIRT. Dirt!! Of all the things. Pynk sadly swatted at her dress and realized it would take a lot of work to clean it out by hand. She shrugged and decided to do it with the power - she could still clean with it at least! Mercuryangel LuneDeSang Mercuryangel She tried to shake it off. Now wasn't the time for this. I need to talk to Azalea, she might know what's going on. She tried to ignore it and heard Lune's last words. "Tell her? Tell who? And what?" She noticed Lune rubbing her head. "Are YOU okay?" Lune waved off Merc's questions and put on a serious expression that was very uncharcteristic for her. "Seriously Merc. Are you ok? Do I need to go tackle someone and drag them over to help you? Because you know I will if that's what you need" She nodded. "Yes I'm fine." I am but Wolf's not."Now answer me, what do you need to tell and to who?? And are you okay?" Grayhurst Gray keeps the model, that she still calls Bobith, in her small pouch, in case anyone should come into her rooms and wonder about. Gray nods. Does she have to review all of this at the begining of every lesson? Ah well, at least it isn't with Mensa Sedai, just think of that."You have promise, and you seem to be learning how to curb your tongue, but you still have a long way to go if you wish for the ring and the shawl."Gray keeps her face an unreadable as possible, but sighs inwardly. That's all she seems to talk about, being raised, or at least how there is a hope of being raised for me in the future. The far future. Far far future it seems from the way she tells it, and that may very well be true.
Gray nods again and shifts in her seat. Another long lesson, then off to the kitchens. Joy.

p.604Grayhurst My days are filled with work and study, my nights are filled with worry. Light, if I keep on like this, I'll burn myself out, physically, possibly literally. And that's nothing to joke about. Light! I spend so much time pouring over these books, looking and serching for more information, clues, hints about anything like what I did.She looks over at Bobith standing on her stool. It doesn't think. It doesn't breathe. It doesn't move unless it hears me command it. Maybe that is because of the ears I molded, and nothing else. It doesn't see. It doesn't seem to live at all, just a clod of dirt that moves when told to. Light, why did I do it? How did I do it? Will anyone find out? Can anyone find out? Light, too many questions. Merc is having a mental breakdown and freaking out because of the pain she felt before Wolf shut down the bond. I have no idea what's going through Azalea, Piro, or Hawk's heads, but they want to help. So now, Merc, Azalea, Piro, and Hawk are all in the Blight outside the camp, trying to find a way to get in, steal the Avendesora leaf, and rescue Wolf all without getting captured or tired out because Merc's already halfway there. Oh, and COTM came back, we don't know taht yet though... *stops to take a breath* Ok....a lot going on...)) ((And here's Merc being mischeivous... twisted )) Mercuryangel "Wait here, hopefully these are some of the less intelligent Trollocs. Just watch for the sentries' leave and get in as fast as you can. I'll join you as soon as I can." She nodded before going to the Dream World. She looked around the reflection of the Blight, it was exactly the same as the real thing but you couldn't see the Shadowspawn. She looked around and tried to roughly pick out the spot where all the sentries were. I hope that's right...here goes nothing..She broke off a large branch of a nearby tree, it came off easily. She split it into several pieces and walked to where she thought each sentry was and threw it at that spot from a distance. Grabbing a couple of rocks, she did the same before quickly moving away. In the real world, the sentries began looking around wildly. Seeing no one, they started blaming each other in the Trolloc tongue. "You bloody fool, why are you throwing things?" "Me? You're the blind idiot who can't even see what he's doing!" "How dare you pathetic underlings throw things at the commander?" "Who hit me?!" Before long, all Shayol Goul had broken lose and the Trollocs began fighting with each other. With each passing moment and hit, they moved farther and farther away from their positions until they were little more than large, black bulky shapes in the distance. ((A very icy spat....)) Azalea Verde : Azalea is shocked at Wolf's words but recovers quickly. "You know what," She looks at him icily, "No. I am not going to forget about it. What is wrong with you?!" I cannot believe that with everything we went through to rescue him, HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE RESCUED! Actually, she could believe it, which made her even more angry. She had already noticed Mercury had been comming and she waves at her in the distance, there was no way she could have recognized them from where she was. : Werewolf5 *Wolf ooks at merc, and back at Azalea, "and defenitly not infornt of her!"* Azalea Verde : "Well, what do you know. A piece of reason just when I had thought you a complete fool." If her eyes had been ice before, they were liquid fire now. :

p.608Azalea Verde : Azalea shakes her head, jaw fallen at his stupidity. "You, are the biggest bloody fool I have ever met in my life, if you think that you leaking to the Shadow is what I am worried about!!!" She had started out in rash anger, and it had grown to shouting fury. "What, you think nobody cares about you?! Is that it?! I mean, that must be it, if you think that you telling secrets to the Shadow is what we were worried about. We were worried about you, you lummox! You know, the whole friendship thing?! Unless of course you're unfirmiliar with that." She is shaking she is so furious, she glowers at him. "And you know what? Just because you are so indifferent to any kind of help, I'm going to rescue you....And then hand you over to Mercury and her wrath! If you thought a few trollics were bad, wait till she's done with you!" : Mercuryangel She noticed a wave from the dark haired person. Well at least they're friendly.As she got a little closer she was able to figure out that it was Azalea. She let out a sigh of relief and began walking over to them. As she made her way, she noticed Azalea and Wolf with angry looks and then she heard shouting though she couldn't make out what they were saying. As she got closer, she heard something about handing Wolf over to someone's wrath. Well if he gets himself killed, I can bloody flaming tell that woolhead who's wrath he'll be facing after death! And it bloody well won't be the Dark One.As she got closer, she folded her arms and started glaring. Now taht she was in sight of him she forgot about her worry. All she wanted was to yell Wolf to pieces for breaking his promise and blocking the bond regardless of what excuses he made up. Azalea Verde (( Uh oh! Wolf is facing two angry women! Bum-Bum-BUM!!!!! blaugh )) : Mercury and Azalea's expressions are twin, both with arms crossed under their chests and fixed glares. "If I die, I die." She says this so matter of factly it sounds as if it is of no importance, "At least I will have ended my life doing something good. However," She pokes him in the chest, "I am not going to die for some wool-headed lummox who thinks that I am just going to let him give up and die you are sooo wrong. So check the attitude!" She knew it was a lie, she would die for him, or any of her friends for that matter, even if they were acting like stubborn mules. : ((And here....the er...rescue gets very...weird...)) Werewolf5 *Wolf wakes with a start, out of instinct punches hawk in the face hard as he's trying to wake him, stands up growling falls back, rolls back down the side of the mountian, knocking over some of the perimiter torches, a group of sentries notice and yell out, raising the alarm. * Dragon Hawk ((alright i dont get that...)) Hawk saw Wolf's raise hand and was aim at his face. He barely manage dodged it with his left hand. After the attack Wolf ran back to the mountain side and roll down to the trollocks campsite where he starts growling. Damn it, man come back here he yelled back at him. Every fourth step or so she trips over nothing at all, but catches herself each time. Sure, double duties, it'll be fine; I'll still have enough sleep. I'll have some good lessons. They won’t be taught by Mensa. Sure, it'll be fine. I'll get sleep. Sleep yes. Rest, no. Light! I see the punishment in this. I feel like the dead two days out in the middle of the desert. I guess one could say I’m learning from Jaquine Sedai, but there is little I can learn when my weaves with Fire and Water go awry. Compound that with my exhaustion, and even the simplest weave of Earth is difficult to manage. She knows, of course she knows, yet still she says I’m just not trying. Well, I’ve untied the golem. Just a pile of dirt now. Was it worth it? Light, I ask myself that everyday now. I repeat my internal conversations....I have internal conversations. Light, I am going crazy with all of this. Does she think my block can be broken through exhaustion, to the point where I can barely channel, and then it will be lifted? That very well could be part of it. The other is punishment. Light, but I have enough duties backed up to last for at least a month after the punishment is lifted, but by the time it is, I will have so much more than that. Light, I dug myself too deep in this. For the sake of curiosity. Flaming Blood and Bloody Ashes!

p.620((And now, we had people trying to accidentally jump out of windows.. eek )) p.621D.Monica Slightly startled at seeing a sister and then having another come up, a sitter non the less her face turned a shade of white she had not known existed until this moment. Curtseying agian to the proper degree and greeted the sitter properly. A voice in the corner of her mind was going through a list of all the things she'd done, none of them bad, to analyze them carefully for anything that could have been bad in the eyes of others. None of them seemed to bad, save for reading a few romance novels that were not appropriate for accepted, but she'd only read a few of them on her free time. Mostly she stayed to the thing that was behind her, or things like it. Azalea Verde : Azalea keeps a pleasant face as the accepted spoke, she seemed nice. That was not what concerned her though, Mercury's words gave Azalea no confidence. She is lying to me because she can't stand to sit still even long enough to sleep! She is going to kill herself if I don't kill her first... Azalea thought the last wryly. "It is nice to meet you Kali." Oh no, I'm not worried Mercury, I'm angry! I am going to pull you into a bed by your ear if I have to, but you are not going to move from one until you are healed! She fumed silently but was all Aes Sedai serenity on the surface. "Mercury, if I could please have a word with you?" She made her tone sound friendly so that Kali wouldn't catch the warning in her voice. : Mercuryangel Mercury felt a groan coming on and she stifled it. Azalea had that tone in her voice again. Most people would not have caught it but after knowing Azalea since they were Accepted, she knew when to be worried, and it was now. Keeper's Stole or no, this wasn't going to pleasant. "I'd like to Azalea but I heard the Mother came back and I really need to deliver accurate reports to her. They've been piling up for months. So if you'll excuse me. Child," she said addressing Kali, "come assist me. Go ahead and bring your book if you like." At least I won't have to worry with someone else around. And Oaths or no, that was the truth and hopefully it got me out of this.She turned and quickly exited the library. Grayhurst Gray slowly wakes up from her nap, streaching in the chair and yawning loudly. She massages her stiff neck and stands up to walk around the study. As she passes Jaquine's desk, she sees a note lying on a pile of papers with her name on it. Hmm, it does have my name on it...Damm my curiosity, it kills me sometimes. Well, nothing to do but to read it.She unfolds the paper and looks over it's contents. Grayhurst, I am unable to meet with you for the lesson today. Please head over to the gardens to make up some of the work you have yet to finish. They know when to expect you, child, so do not be late. Jaquine Sedai"Flaming Blood and bloody Ashes," she shouts, "Oh flaming Light!" She bolts out of the study as fast as she can, nearly running over Azalea, Mercury, and Kali on her way out of the library. She pauses just long enough to make some hasty apologies, curtsies, and more apologies, and continues in her mad dash towards the gardens, muttering oaths under her breath along the way. Grayhurst ((I have, but if you need to have a lesson when I'm not here, it's ok to rp her. In the training thread I have the enire lesson she had with Gray on her block.)) "Tough, but fair. Well, I, I was caught channeling by myself. I used that little ward you showed me near my door, I inverted it, Mensa Sedai taught us that, and well, I was working on something and she caught me. I just thank the Light that it wasn't Mensa Sedai who caught me, I would probably not be here today, maybe not even in the Tower, she seems to have it in for me," she tosses the clump behind her and ends up hitting Kali in the face. "Oh Light! I am so sorry! Please forgive me," she says turning around. Gray curtsies a bit lower than is required for a novice to an Accepted, "I did not mean to hit you. I'm sorry for that! And also for running you over on my way here...Light today has been hectic..." ((And then Krono pops up and meets Az...)) p.626D.Monica "Brown, yes, Aes Sedai. I..don't really need rest. But if you need help" she swallowed and stood, knowing that she'd been dismised. "I'll be more then happy to assit you in anything, Aes Sedai" Kali said, dipping a curtsey with the book still in hand. It was true, she was aiming for brown, and it was obvious she suited the Ajah well. Mentally she was kicking herself for being such an oaf, but she was unable to help being one. Really, it came natrually to her. ((Gray gets in deep trouble eek ....why? Because out of nowhere, her father has popped up at the Tower! blaugh Oh teh suspense!! BUM BUM BUM!! I went back through this thread...I don't have anything relating to chickens...if I find it I'll post it up.
I think I said that when I went last time, pages 339-384 weren't working..so it might've been in there somewhere....
Who knows? I might even find the elusive chick flick posts that we've been trying to find..
