I have to admit most of the foreign films I've seen have been Korean.
Movies like:
Attack the Gas Station
Joint Security Area
Shwiri (Little Fish)
The Foul King
Peppermint Candies
Conduct Zero
My Sassy Girl

Most kickass non-American films ever: Promedio Rojo. Left Luggage. Nicotina. Lola Rennt. I particularly recommend you the first one. It's a Chilean movie about a geek who falls in love with the pretty girl on his class; however, in order to get her attention, he must be able to overcome a cold-hearted pimp that seduces them girls, makes them have sex with him, then leaves them alone. It's hilarious, because the guy does, literally, whatever it takes to make her notice him.

The only foreign films I have seen In another language (Japanese) are Yuu Yuu Hakusho and Spirited Away. I would love to see Hero in it's original language which I think is Mandarin, but my parents won't let me watch anymore foreign films.

I was watching a Belgium movie last night, set in Holland, in the Flemish part of the country, so initially I was very confused. I guess culture isn't quite as static in Europe as it is in Australia.
Anyway, English titel 'Everybody Famous' or in Dutch/Flemish (not sure which) 'Iedereen Beroemd!'.
It was a very endearing film. Not wildly groundbreaking and an absolute masterpiece, but it was enjoyable, and it was sweet, but in a good way.
