Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

User Image

The Rokubantai Taichō stood idly by his two comrades as they spoke of a plan. While Elisia began to speak, his gaze shifted to Kato, his appearance was weird; since he'd never seen a Shinigami with wings of a human world angel. Tetsu felt the urge to reach out and grab a feather and play with it, but he suppressed this with a soft sigh. "Sakuzen Kosshi's abilities should put a hindrance on Dolor's abilities, or so it's said." Tetsunosuke replied to Elisia as he shifted his eyes and head towards her. He was resting the scythe on his shoulder as he spoke. "My bankai will allow me enough lee-way to not become an asset. Will I attack him, you should use your acid on him, Riyu-tachiō." He said calmly.

Dolor's complement about Tetsu's comment was ignored by him on purpose, just to get on Dolor's nerves. Though, he did give him the gratification of looking his way. He gave Dolor a condescending look; one that would tick anyone off. Suddenly, before Tetsu could bother thinking about just leaping into Bankai to chase after Dolor, the most familiar; tremendous reiatsu fell on him. This reiatsu that was always coming from this said man was something Tetsunosuke dreaded to even have the ability to sense. "H-Hei..." He said with a grit from his teeth and a slight tinge of anger. Anger, because he knew that Hei would be after revenge on Dolor, and anger for taking his time torturing Dolor for what he did to him. He hadn't paid any attention to Asami ϒamamoto as of yet. "Hakase!!" Tetsunosuke hollered with spit being flung from his mouth. He saw that he had appeared and plunged his Katana into Dolor's gut and gripped the Exaequare's neck with a vice grip. "You're jumpin' line, dead man! I was going to kick Dolor's arse for him! You can't just get revived and come kill steal like some newbie Shinigami!" Tetsunosuke spoke with honesty. His face wouldn't turn into a smile due to Hei's revival, heck no! Not in a million years, he just stole Tetsu's thunder. No reason for him to be happy for it. He actually gave Hei a ticked off look. He wasn't going to change it either when and if they met up later.

And next, his sister showed up and did something almost similar. She walked past Hei without so much of a thought of leaping on him, and hugging him like Tetsu would have imagined anyone else to do. As she walked past Dolor -appearing to just be walking- Tetsunosuke noticed -and heard- the technique she was performing, the same one she used on him to end their bout. A small hmph escaped him as he figured what would happen next with Dolor. She a sheath of her sword, the maniacal freak should come to realization of getting cut... a lot. Tetsunosuke wouldn't bother being an annoying third party by agreeing with Yuki's comment. He simply started to walk toward the skirmish. Tetsu had brought his Zanpakuto into both hands and was carrying lazily in front of him. The scythe hung lower, almost grazing the ground. The way Tetsu carried it, one would think it weight a lot to him. "So... Sōtaichō, you'll be sure to warn us in advance when you do some crazy big attack again, right?" He asked seriously.

Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taicho

"Telling me to go. But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love. Your eyes say that you hate. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take."

Lee gave a small smile with slight satisfaction as Caelum yelled out pushing his boundaries to escape the attack Lee had used on him. It was satisfying to know that the man had likely spent a lot more energy dispelling the attack then Lee had used in using the attacks. Watching as Caelum spoke again Lee simply rolled his eyes since the solution was quite simple. More hollows would be better for the mere fact that they at least had a chance with more hollows because of the mere fact Shinigami would still do their job. Some would die yes but not nearly as many as if they were simply erased without a chance to begin with. The scowl on Caelum's face was also a little satisfying though to a lesser extent.
"I think we will have to agree to disagree on that one. As for making us leave forcibly I have no doubt that you will try." Lee was confident that at this point if things continued the way they were going that Yuki would be able to defeat Caelum with perhaps some small help from Lee though it was also obvious it was needed. Yuki was more than capable of taking Caelum by herself from what Lee had seen or at least that was his opinion.

Caelum's copy of Lee's binding spell was to be expected considering it was stronger than the previous binding spell he had used. Watching as the pillars were used on Yuki after the Hinami was used which seemed to curve towards Lee himself. Then another Hinami was used towards Lee causing his eyes to narrow slightly suddenly feeling himself being pulled backwards. Fighting against the invisible pull Lee watched as suddenly a light wall was conjured in front of him causing his eyes to widen slightly.
'What?' Could the sudden presence be? Well Lee had already decided that Tsukiko had indeed brought him back but...still. Preparing to attempt to block Caelum's attack with a mix of kido and shunko Lee was suddenly very surprised as Hei suddenly appeared severing Caelum's arm entirely. Next Hei proceeded to snag a brooch off Caelum before sending a light fueled kick towards him and disappearing. Eyes widening slightly at his sudden appearance and reappearance Lee stood there in slight shock eyes suddenly moving to where he now stood with Dolor.

Even though his resurrection had been expected Lee still found himself slightly surprised by his sudden reappearance though why he didn't know. Was it really all that surprising? Of course he would come here after being revived to finish what had been started and likely for a little revenge on Dolor. The fact that Hei had actually helped him in a sense was somewhat surprising though Lee thought nothing of it really. Perhaps dieing had did him some good perhaps not either way now was not the time to worry about such things. Watching as the newly arrived Asami grabbed the now severed arm of Caelum and proceeded to attempt to hit him with it. Turning back towards Caelum still fighting against the invisible pull Lee simply and quite suddenly flew back towards the field colliding with it. It was at that point Lee appeared around five feet to the right of Caelum the other image disappearing to reveal his tattered haori being pulled into the field. There wasn't time to stare on in shock or amazement as there was still a battle going on that needed to be finished immediately. Hei being here would speed things along tremendously.

Yuki seemed to be switching over to fighting Dolor for the time being which was completely fine. Seeing how well Yuki's smokescreen seemed to work Lee decided to try something similar.
"Sekienton." The red blast blew up creating something akin to a ninja's smoke bomb and covering a little of the surrounding area in smoke. It wouldn't last long but it would certainly last long enough to launch an attack or two as. Lee used his senses to find Caelum in the smoke and Moved forward into the smoke Lee's Zanpakuto moved with him down to the side to open a large gash on Caelum's right side. Next Lee preformed a slight spin to appear behind Caelum facing his back and switching sword hands so that his right hand was free. Lee then jabbed forward four times in quick succession with shunko enhanced strikes the first and second strike going for the right and left shoulder blades.

The third strike was done with his palm in between the shoulder blades on Caelum's back and the fourth strike was a chop towards the neck. Then continuing his movements Lee moved to Caelum's left side Lee finished up with a counterclockwise full spin with his blade becoming part of the spin going towards Caelum's leg in an attempt to sever it. As he came out of the spin Lee continued forward turning around as he did so as the smoke had begun to clear on his last attack. Sparing a glance over at Asami Lee cleared his throat.
"He can copy attacks just to let you know Asami-taicho. Not to mention has psychokinesis on a slightly undetermined level. Though it certainly doesn't seem as strong as Aurelius'." Lee's glance had been returned to Caelum midway through his first sentence and he waited. Lee was hoping that Caelum would be shocked from the loss of his arm and therefore have been slightly unable to react so quickly.

"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

The arrival of a new person made her look up and she found herself frozen to the spot, with a mixture of fear and pure shock written on her face. “No, that’s impossible…impossible,” she breathed, an exact duplicate of what she had said when he had died. There was no denying it, though, and she pinched herself several times to make sure that she was not hallucinating. However, her imagination was the only thing she could identify this as – Hei was dead, they had already mourned for him at the Funeral, which Dolor had come to interrupt. Her eyes followed his movements as well as she could, but she found it hard to be able to catch up with him. As Hei launched attack after attack, she had to admit that he was so real. His calm tone scared her even more than when he was angry, and she couldn’t help but wince for Dolor. Whatever Hei had in plan for his murderer, it would not be pleasant. In a swift movement, she retracted the acid back into her pores. It was useless to use them or to do anything now, that Hei had finally appeared.

He had come from the dead for some reason or another, but one question nagged at the back of her mind. People didn’t suddenly rise from the dead by themselves, so he must have been resurrected by something or someone. Suddenly, all the events ever since the funeral, flowed into her mind. There had only been one person that came to mind, who would care about Hei enough to risk something like this, be able to actually pull this off and had, even after his death, refused to accept the fact that he was dead. Of course, how could she have missed such a thing? “Not a betrayal, a…trade…” she realized the truth, finally. Dolor had erased Hei with the brooch, right? Maybe one of the Exaequare could bring people back to life. She was in shock right now, and it seemed like Yuki couldn’t believe it either. However, where was Tsukiko? Elisia desperately cast her gaze around herself, but the only two arrivals she had seen, were Asami and Hei. Maybe the girl decided to stay back, not wanting to see the others after she had unleashed Dolor.

She would have stayed like that, wrapped up in her thoughts, if Tetsunosuke had not chosen that time to start yelling at Hei about him ‘stealing his thunder’. Jolting to a start, she shook herself rigorously, attempting to get rid of any traces of doubt in her mind. What had she been doing? As she very well knew, this was no time to get distracted. Yuki had joined their fight in a bid to attack Dolor, and there was no point in delaying any further. Hei would obviously be able to take care of Caelum, especially if Lee was helping. They needed to get themselves together and start fighting. Acid had been gathering in her hands as she had thought of fighting and she soon had a ready supply, the same as before. She shunpo’ed directly in front of Dolor, pressing her palm firmly in the middle of his chest. The acid would start to corrode his body before long and she’d made sure that it would interfere with his regenerative abilities, if he still had these abilities left. She moved quickly, next to Yuki, her face expressionless as she waited for Dolor to counter-attack or something like that. If Yuki attempted a powerful move like before, as Tetsunosuke seemed to be scared of, Elisia would definitely move out of the way as quickly as possible. There was no use getting caught up in each other’s attacks.

The flames Dolor had materialized and sent towards the Shinigami, were thwarted by an invisible force. There came no words or sounds as this occurred, so the direction of the defense was unknown, though the person that had cause it would soon make herself known. At first the flames simply halted, then were pushed back as if being repelled. In the next instant, however, the flame were stretched out across a large area, then suddenly became very heavy and were slammed into the ground, creating a large area of ashed earth. "I have returned, otō-sama." Came Tsukiko's voice as she faded into sight next to Elisia, making it obvious the counter to the flames was her doing, and hers alone. Her appearance was unusual, or rather the way she showed up was unusual.

She initially appeared solidly about a foot off the ground with her hands hidden inside her Bankai cloak and trailing behind her due to her movement. She was somewhat doubled over, bent slightly at the waist and face pointing towards the ground. Her right foot was the first to touch ground, followed by her left as her whole body eased into being stationary again and she straightened her body up. The upper half of her face was hidden by the shadow cast by her cloak, and within that shadow, her eyes were slits and she wore a matching wide grin, giving her expression the appearance of a kitsune, hinting at something malicious. Or at least it would have had her upper face been visible.

Opening her eyes, she cast a look at Hei and turned her wide smile into a smirk. For the moment, she seemed to ignore Elisia, but not out of spite or any such reason. There were two reasons she refused to look at Elisia; one was that she was afraid to meet her gaze and be scrutinized for her apparent betrayal, and the other was that she didn't see it appropriate for her to show affection on the battlefield. Yuki had not shown these emotions to Hei or anyone, despite the fact that it would have been a perfectly acceptable reaction from anyone who just witnessed a loved one suddenly showing up, back to life and more powerful than ever. All that had been present was shock, which was not something she would have been able to hide anyway. Since Yuki had not shown him affection, Tsukiko reasoned that it was improper to do so to Elisia, and thus refrained.

Why Tsukiko was so late was anyone's guess, as she had not made it known to anyone that she was going to set up the concussion capsules. On top of that, she had used a solinium pulse to wipe any electronic equipment that may have been there, and her Reiatsu was so low that she need only suppress it a little to make it non-existent. Despite not being told to do so by Hei, however, she knew he had wanted her to do something to swing the odds in their favor in case Caelum didn't listen to reason or in case the situation changed for the worst. Being close to Hei meant you generally knew what he expected of you, so she had Aurelius send her elsewhere, rather than to the ruins like the rest of them.

[I curse the fact that Kubo drew such a perfect representation of how I usually imagine characters showing up. I feel like I'm copying him. And the Gin-like face on her and the picture is a total coincidence. She's just being sly right now... and you can't argue because she's never expressed sly before.]

When discussion fails...

As Caelum's forward punch was in its first movements, a new vision came from above and, before he knew it, it was beside him. The action from the unknown being came to him in a slow motion effect. The blade slowly descended down towards his arm, and seemed to pierce his flesh like butter, flowing through the bone as easy if was the skin its self. Caelum's mind did not register the pain as the adrenaline increased in his body, effectively causing the seemingly slowing of time, and he, again in a type of slow-mo, saw Hei's arm move and grab his Brooch, crushing it. As well as that, he saw another come and grab his arm mid-air. She moved to go do something with it, leaning towards him when he yelled, "No! You've no idea what you-" Caelum's sentence was cut short with an explosive kick to his face, completely throwing off anything planed by the woman that came a little after Hei did. He managed to put up a small Psycho-field to take the brunt of the attack, allowing the explosion to occur an inch or two away from his face. The explosion still caused a few mild burns across his face, but those were undermined from the large bruises that resulted from the long ended tumble that came after wards. Caelum was blown more than just a few feet away by the kick, tumbling across the ground many times around before coming to a stop some 20 feet away near a wall and some steps. The fact that he had been knocked away caused Asami's hit to miss, and the follow up was her tossing his arm at him. He used psychokinesis to halt the limb in mid-air, further away from it's intended target, so that it would explode out of harm's way.

Caelum was on his torso and pushed up with his arms, and unfortunately, shakily. He moved to his knees, a stream of blood running down the right side of his face, dripping every so often onto the stone with a soft tap. His breathing was heavy and strained and, strangely, his glasses came out unscathed, aside from the very end behind the ear snapping off. Pushing himself to stand, Caelum wobbled upwards and starred at Hei, now hold Dolor. His momentary peace was broken with the appearance of a smoke covered field. Caelum knew from this that an attempt would be made to attack him. Knowing this, he used his 'sonar-like' vision to get a better standing. He saw Lee coming with his blade, and moved escape it, though he was sluggish. The blade hit its mark, if only slightly at the shoulder. Caelum then saw Lee move to behind him, throwing up a psycho-field to act as a repulsion field. He pushed out with every punch, making it look as though he was hit as it force his body to push forward; the field pushing against the punch and Caelums body to gain distance to escape it. At the one between the shoulder blades, Caelum leaned forward, dodging the chop naturally and smirked. "Naive boy..." Caelum used his Psychokinesis to push Lee back slightly, only akin to a slight stumble and spun to his own right, throwing his right hand out to be extended, and aimed to turn into Lee's face. Pushing him away, Caelum quickly jumped in towards Lee to follow up, going towards Lee's torso. Caelum pulled his arms back and shoved them forward with his wrists against each other and his palms facing towards Lee, sending out a large Psychokinetic push into the walls behind them.

Cealum then turned to look towards Hei. "You must be the one I returned the Soul too. Otherwise, you would have been here before. You are obviously here to settle what they came here to do. You are far beyond what I can fight, at least properly, so perhaps another diplomatic solution would be at hand? I am losing my patience with this battle..." Caelum let out a sigh at the end of his statement. He hated admitting any sort of defeat, but he saw this as a type of agreement.

A swift end to you shall be given.

Even if Tsukiko had not said anything, Elisia would have immediately recognized the presence of the young girl next to her. Electricity raced up her body and she felt as if she had pins and needles all over herself. She just barely managed to keep her face emotionless and stop herself from blushing as the fact that Tsukiko had returned, slowly sunk into her again. Nevertheless, of course, there were obvious signs, like the fact that her heart was fluttering a million times faster than usual and her breathing had become slightly erratic. Shooting a nervous glance at Hei, who she was still deeply afraid of, she peeked a quick look at Tsukiko, hiding behind her silver mane of hair. However, she found herself disappointed and a little hurt, as she noticed the fact that Tsukiko seemed to be blatantly ignoring her, for one reason or another. Her hand itched to reach out to touch Tsukiko's hand, but she held it back as it might not be the best thing to do right now. Doubt slowly overwhelmed her as she was lost in her thoughts. Maybe there had been nothing between them after all. It might have all been a brief crush, to be thrown away after use and forgotten. What other reasons could there be for Tsukiko ignoring her? Even if Tsukiko wasn’t glad to see her, she was glad to see Tsukiko. But now, she wasn’t so sure, if the girl was intent on not looking her or disregarding her.

After a moment’s hesitation, she turned her head away from Tsukiko, hurt and distress written into her expression. She needed to concentrate on the job at hand, not wallow in her misery at the moment. With that thought in mind, she generated more acid again, attempting to ignore the fact that Tsukiko was so near to her. They needed to fight and if she kept on getting easily distracted like this, she was going to be more of a disadvantage than a help. Her face set itself into sheer determination again, as recklessness took place of the hurt she had felt. She desperately craved to do something, to attack or to destroy somebody, just to get herself out of her current situation and her sadness. Realization dawned on her as she became conscious of the idea that she was losing her grip on herself and that, if she wasn’t careful, she could end up getting herself or another of her colleagues, killed in the process. Taking several deep breaths, she shunpo’ed, moving next to Tetsunosuke. The position she had been in before, was not the best and if she didn’t get away, she would find herself getting trapped once again. Instead, she flashed Tetsunosuke a impish smile, before swiftly saying, “Let’s go and take Dolor out as best as we can, alright?”

Hakase Hei

"...allow me to show you a fate worse than death."

"And you would do well to remember that fear, anta." He responded calmly, tightening his grip to the extent that if he applied any more pressure, his spine would snap. Looking upon his changing form with very little interest, Hei retained his composure as Dolor placed his hand on Hei's hand which was still resting on his hilt, and appeared to attempt something that was immediately nullified by Mōra so fast that Hei didn't even get to see what he was trying to do. It was a simple task to overpower Dolor and free his hand from underneath Dolor's and tug his blade from Dolor's gut. It was at this point that Tetsunosuke started whining like a little b***h about something so frivolous that Hei had to contain the urge to smack him upside the head with Dolor. However, as Yuki had chosen this moment to show up and use a sword technique he had not yet witnessed her use before, and then proceed to order him to fight Caelum, Hei decided against physically abusing the boy and instead opted to use words.

It had nothing to do with the boy, but that Yuki was scary and he didn't want to cross her. Without bothering to turn his head towards Tetsunosuke, or even change the direction of his gaze, he spoke to him as Elisia used some acid on his chest and Tsukiko showed up. "Getting caught up on whose kill is whose and throwing away victory for something as trivial as that is something for the lower ranks to do, bōya. Captains can't even think about doing such a carefree thing. You sound like child, talking about stolen kills. Grow up and deal with the fact that you don't always get what you want. You wouldn't have been able to beat him by yourself anyway." With this, in a single lightning quick motion, Hei retracted his hand from Dolor's neck, made a fist, then snapped his fist towards his throat with enough force to knock the fragile Exaequare backwards quite a distance.

In the interim, Caelum had sought to speak to him and talk him into a peaceful debate, to which Hei responded by turning to face him as he mouthed the word 'Suijaku', causing Mōra and his entire Bankai to unravel, reducing his attire to the standard Shinigami uniform, free of the alterations he was so fond of. As Caelum finished speaking, Hei's eyes slid shut, as if his statement was disappointing in itself. As he responded, he opened his eyes again, though nothing had changed in his expression. "Hardly. It's just like I told your little friend Aurelius; I don't give a damn about humans, or your goals. Yet time and time again you people make it a point to cross me in some way or another. It's as though, despite all that knowledge you must have of us, you continuously forget what I am capable of and risk suicide by stepping on my pride time after time. I almost pity you; fortunately I am incapable of such a useless emotion. In any case, my muscles atrophied in death, and I've only just recently had a steroid injection to remedy that. I figure I need some exercise before I go back to my current lifestyle, so I was going to fight Dolor over there for some entertainment, but since my Captain Commander has ordered me to fight you, I am.

From what I understand, and heard mere moments ago, you were saying that there was no other solution. With that in mind, I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your desire to solving this peacefully for the moment as I see no reason we can't go with your way of doing things; crushing the opposition."
Breathing a low sigh, Hei pulled his hair back into a ponytail and proceeded to bind it with a piece of string; its origins were anyone's guess. "The usefulness of a cup is it's emptiness. His range of distortion is 300 feet in all directions." He said just loud enough for those around him to hear. In a fluid motion, he tossed a syringe to Yuki that he had produced from his robes, drew his other sword, then lowered his body towards the ground and proceeded to use a very fast dash towards Caelum who was quite a distance away, that consisted of only a few steps, giving him the impression of flying across the ground. "Ōgi... Hyakuretsu Ōkazan!" Arriving in front of Caelum, he stopped his approach by planting his right foot, then wasted no time unleashing a wave of lightning fast strikes, totaling one hundred in a matter of seconds, using using a Hōho technique he had invented, Genzōpo, which was no more than the footwork side of Senka, to strike from all sides.

Tsukiko stood idly by as Hei spoke and after he had released and struck Dolor away, she focused her gravity abilities on him, increasing it around him to hold him down and prevent him from interfering while Hei spoke to Caelum. As an added measure, she surrounded them in a repulsion barrier with the flick of her sleeve-covered fingers. She had not been ordered to do so, obviously, but she felt it prudent to do so. Smiling widely beneath her hood, she let out a small chuckle at the prospect of Hei refusing to be diplomatic about this situation; that was so like him in every aspect. She knew for a fact that he wouldn't take kindly to the opposing side trying to make the agreements, while he had the upper hand, and would certainly wait until he had roughed Caelum up to a certain extent before settling on a verbal contract or solution.

It wasn't until Hei quoted the Tao Te Ching that Tsukiko showed an interest in the conversation again. "The usefulness of the cup is its emptiness" it originated from Lao Tzu, she had read his books before, and the quote was supposed to imply to be prepared to accept new knowledge and not be hindered or biased by old knowledge. To tell them this, he must have been trying to tell them that they were being hindered by the fact that so little could work on him, if anything at all aside from Gravity and the Kuromijin. Clearly he had determined an alternate means of defeating Dolor, one that did not involve his suppression, and given the mysteriousness of his quote, it was obviously not the already suggested tactic to simply wear him down.

Truthfully, though foolishly, she had expected more information than just the range in which he could deal his damage and that vague quote, and was disappointed when he suddenly flew towards Caelum, leaving his statement to sink in to the minds of those smart enough to understand it. "Huh..." Racking her brains, Tsukiko released the gravity around them and the gravity acting upon Dolor, then pointed her finger at him and began projecting gravitons at her fingertip, then released them in the form of a cohesive beam that could generate a force blast with a maximum concussive force equivalent to the primary shock wave of an explosion of 20,000 pounds of TNT. He could deal with that however he chose, but for now it was only to allow herself a moment to her thoughts.

Dolor
================================================

And he forsook his name and tore out his face...

For gods are above identity and the flesh anchors sanity...

”Oh, trust me, I will… not much I can do to heal the psychological trauma you and Aurelius’ mistress, aka, your daughter have given me.” spoke Dolor from behind closed lips. To those who had a keen ear, the words that Dolor spoke would prove to be quite shocking, not in terms of what he said, but by how he was able to know of what he had just said. Dolor had been virtually been in suspended animation the entire length of time during the events leading to Hei’s revival, and thus the ‘betrayal’ of Aurelius should’ve been unknown to him. Added to that, neither Hei, or Yuki, or Tsukiko herself had told him of their relationship, so for him to know of this should’ve been impossible. However, Dolor had other ways of obtaining information that extended far beyond simply relying on his ears and the words of others.

Due to the fact that anything and everything inside Dolor’s sphere was effectively inside his own consciousness, he can literally feel through every aspect of the object within his domain. The body can be scanned to reveal weaknesses, and the mind can be read to view memories and emotions. However, Hei himself was an unlikely candidate, thus the only person left from whom Dolor could’ve extracted the information from was Yuki who he had felt entering the sphere soon after Hei’s arrival and subsequent ‘greeting’ of him. Investing the majority of his focus on her, his sphere allowed him to sense the muscle tensions occurring within her arms and the rapid creation of currents and vacuums in the air around him. This allowed Dolor to more or less deduce what she had in mind for him ”Oho, quite the slasher…” he commented before Yuki finished the attack, despite him knowing about it, in the end he couldn’t do much about it, save for to heal the wounds that were not within the area where Hei had nullified his abilities. ”So, I get to fight Mrs. Hakase now? Heh, I suppose I should consider it an honor, then?”

Titling his head to the side in response to Elisia’s sudden arrival, the Exaequere would’ve raised an eyebrow out of curiosity, had he the face to do so. It was not so much that she attacked him, as the ideal time to take out one’s anger upon someone was when that person was down and out, but rather, the fact that he dared to willfully appear so close to Hei intrigued her. Performing a quick scan of her recent memories, Dolor’s cheek muscles gave rise to a sly smile as he went through her moments with Tsuikiko. It was at this time that the Exaequere realized that his attack upon the other Captains had been thwarted by an all too familiar force, but he dismissed it in favor of prying upon Elisia’s love life even more. So much so was his enjoyment that he had utterly forgotten to react to Elisia’s attack, or to the fact that his skin was now slowly liquefying due to the acid Elisia had used against him.

However, he was cut short by Elisia’s sudden retreat from the area and Hei’s equally sudden release of his neck, followed by a quick, yet devastatingly powerful uppercut to his throat. Expecting to be sent flying towards the sky like a cartoon villain, Dolor was rather surprised when he felt that his entire body had became rather heavy and thus caused him to remain firmly attached to the ground, an effect he knew that could’ve only been generated by Tsukiko. Finally taking care of the liquefied flesh, Dolor slowly lifted his head as he attempted to give a sexual joke, before Hei’s words reached his ear and caused him to pause for a moment. ”What? You’ve got to be kidding me…” he mumbled as Tsukiko’s beam entered the boundary of his sphere. Without moving an inch, Dolor caused the gravitron particles that composed the beam to collide with one another, causing a premature explosion that held as much strength and force as the initial attack. Throwing his head back, Dolor began to laugh audibly and maniacally as he hugged his stomach and swayed his head ”You… you…” he stammered out before his knees buckled underneath him and knelt upon the ground smashing the earth with his fists before he literally rolled around the ground laughing his heart out. Regaining a bit of control and composure, Dolor sat back up, still chuckling he pointed towards Tsukiko ”You… you mean to tell me you made Aurelius you’re little b***h, but never asked him about Caelum and I’s powers?” with that he laid himself back down again and treated himself to another hefty laugh. ”What morons!” he yelled as he slowly started to stand back up, dusting himself as he did so ”Ah well, doesn’t matter that much anyway. So, ya’ gonna kick my butt while Hei ‘ere talks to Caelum? Heh, might as well get this over with. Wouldn’t want to make you two ladies wait any longer for some gratification after all this, huh?” he commented towards Tsukiko and Yuki as he motioned towards Hei and Elisia respectively.

[Yeah... if the arrangement of events is confusing, the overall posts kinda confused me too still.]

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

Yuki eyed Tetsunosuke as he berated Hei for stealing his kill. An inaudible sigh escaped her lips at having to listen to Tetsunosuke act childishly about the situation. As her Shunkō died out, she gripped Rei tightly and looked at Tetsunosuke without changing her narrowed eyes. "Of course, but are you going to yell at me for interfering in the same way that you did with Hei? Such foolish behavior, Tetsunosuke-kun, and I won't allow it in my presence." Eventually her expression did soften; her face relaxing as the moment of anger left her and being replaced by concern as she looked on at the pitiful sight of Tsukiko avoiding Elisia for obvious reasons, and Elisia entering into her own little state of worry because she was oblivious to Tsukiko's mindset. Yuki felt compelled to say something, but this was neither the time, nor the place, nor was it any of her business any longer.

Since Dolor was obviously the type that thrived on screwing with people's heads by spilling their secrets or otherwise taking anything out of context and making it into something not even close to the truth, Yuki didn't even give him the time of the day when she spoke of him, instead paying more attention to Hei and what he was saying. This was not to say that she had been off guard as she could have caught a fist or redirected a large Kido with looking that way, but she certainly wasn't listening to the stuff Dolor was saying. Blinking, Yuki caught the syringe and looked down at it to determine exactly what it was as she had caught it out of reflex. The syringe was a clear, flattened, plastic tube and its contents were a blue liquid. "Chōjinteki Yaku?" After being puzzled for a second as Hei sped away, reality hit her and she chuckled.

At first she had thought Hei meant for her to use it on Dolor, and that was the purpose of the quirky, vague as hell hint he had given them. But there were two things wrong with that; one, there would be no reason to be vague if he was just going to give her the solution, and two, Dolor would just distort is from his system, rendering the miracle drug useless. Her mind flashed back to conversation she had overheard, or rather, a conversation Hei had been having with himself as he had manufactured this drug. "Dilute it, and the drug speeds up the reactions to the extent that it is suitable for combat." Yuki had been sitting in the corner of the labs, nearly bored to tears at the lack of interesting things to do, but remaining quiet and composed because of who she wanted to do later. She remembered being amazed at this little tidbit, and had wondered why it wasn't manufactured by bulk and sold to the Gotei 13 so that it may be used in battle. At least that was until she found out how many times it had to be diluted before it could be used in that way. Having remembered that, she realized what Hei had given it to her for. "You never cease to deliver, Hakase-taichō. You haven't even seen its completed form yet and you already know its weakness."

Removing the needle's slip cover, Yuki looked down at her arm and stuck herself, injecting the drug directly into her blood stream. It took effect instantly, coursing through her bloodstream and causing her skeletal muscles to tighten, and then return to normal. She experienced a pulsing effect in her eyes and her brain throbbed painfully, but this sensation was quick to die out, leaving her as soon as Tsukiko had fired Ion Jūryoku Rei at Dolor and now seemed to be thinking. Catching on quickly, she attacked Dolor again, but this time with the pretense of just keeping him entertained for the moment. Flattening her left hand and punching it with her right, she gathered all of the ambient moisture in the air in her range and formed massive ball of ice that was situated outside of Dolor's sphere, then drop it on him. However, before he decided to simply distort it away or change it's structure, she did it first, melting it down into water that gathered on the ground, then formed multiple spikes of ice to jut out from the ground to skewer Dolor. She had long since given up hope that such things would work against him, thus his quick distortion of them coupled with his stupid little taunts were now about as annoying as fly landing on her leg, lingering for a few seconds, then flying away. On that same note, she would be wholly unconcerned if Dolor decided to use her own attack against her, because at that point, it would be an issue of control and power, both of which Yuki surpassed him in. Dolor could turn that water into a massive wave, and Yuki would boil and evaporate it without a second's though. Looking to Tsukiko, she spoke with a sense of urgency in her voice and began preparing for her next attack. "You understand what he meant, right? How long do you need?"

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
And the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Lee did not fail to notice Tsukiko's appearance simply by feeling her arrive nearby though spared no glances to the girl most present thought to be a traitor not fifteen minutes ago. Lee's entire attention was focused on Caelum for the mere fact that he was fighting the man for the time being and therefore didn't want to be caught off guard. Hearing Caelum's two words Lee simply rolled his eyes at the man in front of him looking at the his wounded shoulder for a minute before feeling himself being pushed back slightly. Lee tensed up in response to the obvious retaliation and watched as Caelum spun to his own right. The extended right hand was dodged simply by throwing his head back bringing it out of reach of the swing. Retaliating by swinging his blade up as the arm came towards it in an attempt to sever the arm. Then Lee was being pushed back yet again causing his eyes to narrow slightly as he prepared for the continued attacks sliding his zanpakuto into his obi. Kicking off the ground to go backwards Lee watched as Caelum held his arms close to each other facing him sending a large push outwards.

Turning around and firing off a blast of kido into the wall to create a hole in it he felt himself being pushed forward by a much larger force towards the hole. Ducking forward so that he entered a roll from the push he went through the hole continuing the roll until he got back to his feet. Then the rubble fell on him Laying under it all with his eyes closed and a small sigh Lee eventually pushed upwards digging himself out of it.
'b*****d.' After a few moments he stood on the small amount of rubble and dusted himself off letting out another sigh and brushing his hair back. Opening up his eyes in time to see Hei finish speaking to Caelum and rush towards him. Lifting his arms to the now turned around opponent Lee held his hands towards him. "Sajō Sabaku."

The thick white chains shot out towards Caelum to bind him in place the words were spoken out loud on purpose. They certainly wouldn't arrive before Hei but the fact that Hei was insanely fast would help him to land strikes and the bakudo was simply a slight distraction. If it did hit it would likely give Hei plenty of time to land a multitude of strikes on him even if Caelum didn't take long to break it. If it didn't Caelum would at least have to turn his attention to it for a moment or two to deal with it. Either way it should give Hei an opening and hearing Dolor in the distance Lee figured now was as good a time as any to tell everyone what he had learned from Aurelius. If for no other reason than to let Dolor know that they knew something about him and his abilities despite what Hei had said that he had missed. Using shunpo to back away for the moment to give him time to do the marking and relay his message Lee began using Tenteikūra directed to Yuki and Tsukiko and no one else since they would likely be setting up the plans anyway.

'Yuki-san and Tsukiko-san I would like to relay a little bit of information about Dolor I learned from Aurelius to hopefully give you the advantage. He said "Dolor can distort people, this much is true, what he doesn't want you to know is that whatever he does to someone instantly reverts back once they are far enough away. He draws markings on you before doing it and likes to hide it where you won't find it, namely the head hidden by the hair." Whether you already know or not I do not know but hopefully this little bit of information will help you out to defeat him. Goodbye for now.' Returning his full attention back to the battle and returning within range of hearing Lee cleared his throat and swallowed his pride. "Hei do you have any type of plan for this battle? If so is there anything I can do to help speed up his defeat?" Retrieving his blade from his obi Lee held it at his side and to the ready. Hei's reaction was completely a mystery for the time being so Lee prepared for the possibility of being simply ignored among other things. Obviously saying the plan out loud was out of the question yet sometimes things could be relayed without words.

Feeling: I n T o K i l l
"Truth is simply a conception..."

Hideki was well outside of the blast radius, being able to physically see where it stopped. He could not say that he was surprised to see that kind of power, as it came from Yuki. Yuki being Hei's brother, and thus, having the same blood coursing in their very veins. It would be only natural for them both to have a strange and vast amount of power. He hoped that Elisia would not have the wrong idea about his protecting her. It was a last minute thing, and in the amount of time there was to act before it exploded, the Danku was the safest thing to ensure her safety. Hideki believed if anything were to happen to her, Tsukiko herself would be quite distressed over it, and as well as distressed, be quick to find the person liable for not protecting her. It was a gut thing to Hideki, but he believed it would be that way.

Putting his hands in his pocket, Hideki took a few steps forward, off of the ruins he was standing on, and into the air. Soft ethereal sounds occurring with every step he made in the air. Bending at the hip, Hideki narrowed his eyes, though it was not necessary with his ocular upgrades in an act to look at the battle occurring with Dolor. His attention was drawn away, however, with the new technique via Yuki. She had enveloped herself with a black flame. Hidekis only logical match up to a power allowing such a feat was Shunkō. It was odd to think of that type of Kidō manipulation, being that Shunkō was using Kidō energy, though the thought really came to make sense once he went over the type of powers Yuki wielded. Switching his vision to that of Infrared, Hideki looked on, still, at the flames Yuki was producing. This was around the time she began to use them in the spiraling fashion. The image Hideki saw was so blinding with the Infrared vision active, that he had only a glimpse at the heat readings coming off of it, as the temperature was so high it was all a blinding white color. Hideki was thrown off balance at the sight and fell backwards, stumbling, and blinking multiple times to rid the image of small, colorful, blinking dots that were in his vision.

Shaking his head, Hideki managed to catch a glimpse of Caelum avoiding the flames by somehow diverting them around his body. Hideki was baffled by the action, as it meant he had Psychokinesis, though he could only imagine that it was not all that powerful. He continued to watch Caelum's movements, simultaneously watching Dolor's with his right eye, as both eyes were free to move as they wanted and still be comprehended by Hideki's mind. Dolor seemed to take the attacks that came at him with an odd air of ease, though Hideki knew it had to be a facade, Dolor was simply saving his energy. A sadistic being such as him not attacking fiercely is as odd as it sounds. His attention turned back to Caelum, Hideki found his second power. In witnessing the fact that he had replicated many powers of his fellow teammates, Hideki came to the conclusion of a Copier, however, Hideki, having time too, found the weakness in it. It would seem that Caelum had limits to what he could replicate. Things that require a type of weapon, Hideki has noticed, he cannot replicate as well as the powerful techniques from Yuki. Those require her type of statistics, something he naturally did not have. Though Hideki would have been ecstatic with with the discovery, he knew know was not the time, and the only reason for him ever becoming ecstatic was him on the notion no one else knew, though he had a feeling Yuki had begun to figure it out at the same time.

As Caelum approached Lee the second time, pulling him towards his body, Hideki felt a strange new power. It was distant, and above him, but it felt familiar. He was now on the move, now back to the general area of the battle, and stopped when the feeling hit him. One eye lifted to look directly upwards and went to X-Ray vision, seeing three bodies, one mechanical one and two other organic ones. Hideki's eyes widened just as one of the Organic's began to fall, though going out of his sight as it did so. It reappeared in his other eye, as it was looking forward, revealing a Mora covered Hei. Hideki's mouth dropped open and a soft and dull gasp of shock left it. He took a step back with his right foot, processing the possibility that it was true. He knew of Tsukiko's intentions, and had figured that it was made true by her leaving, but to actually see him back. It was something that made Hideki's heart race with excitement. The adrenal glands went into over load as adrenaline began to race through Hideki's veins. His breathing began to increase into heavy and quick breaths. "H-Hei-taichō..." Hideki keeled over as Hei plunged his blade into Dolor, grasping his calves in the process. A low laugh began to ensue from his 'crouched' position. It was a slightly disturbing one, one someone in denial might make when faced with the truth. He would be like that well into Yuki's walk past Dolor. He lifted up from the position fluidly, almost flipping back up, a twisted grin on his face. As he rose, he let out a loud and quite insane laugh, his head falling backwards looking straight up into the air. It echoed out and as Yuki had reached the end of her walk and Hideki's head snapped back with a strenuous 'Huuuuhaaahhh' much like a stretching noise but more forced than anything.

Hideki took a step forward and opened his mouth wide, his tongue snaking out and wiping over his upper teeth with a muted sigh of urge behind it. With the first step, however, the soft stride he had going began to flow into a run before it was a dash. As he gained the distance, Hideki pushed up and dis a dismount off the air, flowing into a spinning forwards flip, his hands still in his pockets, and fell to the ground with his legs extended. As Hideki landed, he bent his knee's and came to a crouching position, his head held low with his hair flowing down softly behind him, his hands still in his pockets. Looking up, Hideki's eyes flicked open and a large grin played across his features. Hideki was directly in line with Dolor, in his bloody state. If it were not enough, Hideki was going to add to the list of injuries. His mind was shut off and his insanity was reigning freely.

Hideki pushed off with his right foot, and his lifting to his feet was visibly apparent before he vanished from the spot he stood at. He reappeared about a half foot from Dolor's left side, crouched with his left hand held out to the side and his right hand fisted and held down by his hip, stepping one of the icicles Yuki formed. "Hehehahaha!" Hideki laughed as he simply thought of the amount of blood that would come from this. The possibilities running through his mind were endless but one stood out from the rest. He began this onslaught by crouching at the knees into a deep and low position, breaking the icicle he was on, and shoved forward and upwards with his right shoulder, pushing Dolor back, towards the other ice picks which would ultimately break them with the force if they were to collide. As the movement was done, and Dolor was moving backwards, Hideki pulled back softly and let out a soft growl as he moved into a deep position with his knees lowered, his left fist held slightly out and his right back by his hip. Hideki rushed forward quickly, while Dolor was still being thrown back and threw his right fist towards his sternum and then his left towards his stomach, before he lifted his left leg and shoved it towards Dolors torso, to throw him back even farther, keeping the momentum.

As Dolor was flung, Hideki lifted his left arm to point towards him and the vents on his forearm and upper arm flew open, streamed in reishi from around his body, or in this case Spiritus, with an audible whistle, much like a firework whistle, for about 2 or 3 seconds. It built up in Hideki's palm, which was now facing Dolor, and let out a large bullet of concentrated Spiritus/Reishi, whistling for his body, exploding on contact, aiming to burn his skin. Hideki was far from done, and vanished from his position to appear in the smoke of the explosion and uttered "Bakudō #37: Tsuriboshi", forming the star-like net behind Dolor, to catch him there, little strands of it wrapping themselves around him, holding him in place.

Hideki smirked and the three vents on the forearm and upper arm of his right arm flung open, shredding his Kosode's arm, just as his left had before. It took in Spiritus, again with a loud whistling sound but for a few more seconds, before they shut closed and began to cause his arm to hum and become blurred from the vibrations coming from it. He stepped forward before disappearing, using a Shunpo to add speed to the hit, and reappeared in front of Dolor, his right hand fisted and pulled back in the lower position, at his side. Hideki's legs were braced in a low crouch and he flung his fist forwards yelling, "Tsuyosa Tama: Ganma Houkai!" The vents on his right arm flung open, letting out a sonic boom from the pressure build up and release. The punch into Dolor's torso would be aided by three things: Speed, Mechanical Strength, and the build up of power being released in the form of a shock wave of sound and energy at the brunt of the fist. Being that these things were aiding the power, the damage was great, twisting the very area where it hit in a spiral just before that very area was blow away along with the Bakudō just behind Dolor, which would leave about a 8 inch in diameter hole within his torso. This happened within a blink of an eye, or to fast to see with normal eyesight, so it would simply look as though Hideki's hand flung right through Dolor's torso with a sonic boom. The ruins behind Dolor were left with a permanent circular hole within them as well.

Hideki pulled his hand from the bloody hole in Dolor's body, and shoved an open right hand into the upper chest area of Dolor's body, pushing him back, shattering the broken Bakudō and causing Dolor to fall to the ground. Hideki turned and began to walk away, chuckling deeply. "Arrogance is to be struck down by a greater force to show just how weak you are... For being second in command, you certainly are daft." Hideki swung his right arm out to rid it of blood as he spoke. He then began walking towards Elisia. His face having a few traces of blood on it, he rubbed his face with both hands, letting out a sigh as he regained his senses. He shook his face as he neared Elisia, keeping back his emotions, mostly. "That girl ******** did it," He looked to Elisia and smiled, "you have a very talented lover there, Elisia. She is remarkable. She managed to bring h-him back. I...I can not stop smiling. I have no idea why, but I can not." One tear from Hideki's right eye strolled down and hit the ground below them, though the streak it left was wiped away and, unless one saw it happen, there was no other indication he had let himself cry, though it be through happiness. His voice did not change at all, it simply came and went.

[Holy ******** s**t...This post is so big. I did not even mean to do that. And I would like to point out that this may confuse many people so I'll outline what happened:

1)Deki appeared crouched in front of Dolor, and shove just as in the picture. 2) He then moved and did a right punch into sternum, left punch into stomach, and then left shove kick into torso. 3) He used a reishi bullet to brun and keep dolor moving backwards. 4) He used Bakudo to hold and finished with a super atomically damaging punch to the stomach. The punch would create a hole with the amount of physics and power behind it. Think of it as a few tons going into the punch; hence the sonic boom. ALSO, take everything as a suggestion. I may have missed a few spot to make them sound like it IC, so I apologize.

Sorry if it confuses DX.

⋆⋆⋆ELISIA xRIYU
squadxfourxCAPTAIN

Elisia had been keeping a wary eye on Dolor, just in case he might try something. However, she was slightly surprised as he gestured to her, just after gesturing Hei. What was this about? Looking at who he was talking to, pure and undeniable rage ripped through her body. How dare he? Attempting to calm herself down, she counted up to about 20, before she managed to keep her fury under control. This was being irrational of her, and it had been fuelled, by firstly her worry over Tsukiko and then, the insults that Dolor were throwing at Tsukiko. Then again, she didn’t really have any reason to be protective of the girl, since she didn’t even know what their relationship was like at the moment, since it was a little sketchy. She sighed deeply, instead focusing her mind back on the attacks that they were launching on Dolor. Right now, she wanted him dead and she would feel no remorse at all for his death, even though, right now, there was most likely going to be a very small chance of that happening. Surprisingly, Hideki had joined the battle, just after Yuki’s attack. He, being Hei’s former Lieutenant, must be feeling absolutely happy, since his apparently dead ex-Captain had returned.

She did not shift her eyes as Hideki attacked, as she merely was full of curiosity, and attempting to distract herself as well, as to the way in which he attacked. Most of the 12th Division members were absolutely ruthless on the field and that was easily seen in Hideki’s attacks. As he started walking toward her, she tilted her head, looking at him with inquisitive and bright eyes. However, as Hideki mentioned Tsukiko and the whole ‘lover’ thing, her smile slipped a little and the shine in her eyes faded. She tried to keep her calm and cheerful composure but fell far short of it. It seemed like she was already being affected by Tsukiko, despite the fact that she had, a day ago, not even realized what her feelings were like. As Hideki said that he couldn’t stop smiling and he didn’t know why, a gentle and reassuring smile appeared on her face, as she tried to wipe away some of the blood from his face, using her sleeve, being careful to retract all acid that was on her hands. “The reason you can’t stop smiling,” Elisia whispered in a soothing voice, “…is because somebody very close to you has just reappeared. It’s normal to keep smiling after something like that has happened. Don’t try to control your emotions, it’s good to be happy about something like this.” She looked up to the sky, saying quietly, “It’s seldom that a happy event like this happens.”

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

User Image

The captain let Hei's words roll of his back. Tetsunosuke wasn't one to really care about kill count; he was merely agitating Hei for the heck of it. If Tetsu could have it his way, he'd be back at Soul Society being lazy. Being called a boy did not bother him as much as Hei's arrival. Tsukiko's arrival was suspected from the captain. He heeded her no mind as she went about her business. His gaze returned to Elisia as she appeared out of a Shunpo to his side. "If we are needed that is." He replied calmly. Yuki's words pierced deep, as usual. His eyes squinted as she spoke and he turned his head. "I'll apologize later." He finally fessed up to his mistake to his Sotaicho.

Tetsunosuke's gaze flicked back toward Hei; he retort to Caelum was pretty true - to an extent. A smirk appeared on Tetsunosuke's lips when Hei mentioned of opposing the peaceful agreement. He didn't really know why he was smirking, just a random moment he'd suppose. He cocked a brow as Hei swifted his hair into a ponytail. "Three-hundred feet..." Tetsu murmured under his breath after Hei left for his new bout. The syringe Yuki caught was in question; he wondered what it could possibly hole, but he wouldn't let it demand his entire thoughts. Tetsu felt at a disadvantage, he had not really much to go on as a means of attacking Dolor. Though, his attention was drawn away to Yuki once more as she moved to inject the blue substance into her arm. Tsukiko's attack went noticed, Tetsunosuke stood out of range in awe as the blast was countered by Dolor.

Tetsunosuke had actually forgotten about Hideki until he appeared and attacked Dolor, attempting to shove the imbecile into a spike. Tetsunosuke once again didn't bother stepping in to aid, since he would more then likely get in Hideki's way as he continued his onslaught. His eyes widened with an impressed gaze. His arms were modified -something the 12th Division seemed to do to themselves- this sort of gave Tetsunosuke a couple ideas about some things, but he suppressed his sidetracking thoughts. Though, Hiedki's weird undertone was showing as he smiled. "Why is it such a curse to have emotions? I will never understand people who wish to reject the reality of themselves." Tetsunosuke spoke to himself as he had shifted his position to face Dolor. A sigh exhaled Tetsu opened mouth as he stepped forward some. He moved Sakuzen Kosshi to a readied position as he looked up at Dolor. "Bankai..." he spoke as the shroud of darkness fell on him and shifted into a cloak which drug on the ground. "Akogare Sakuzen Kosshi." He spoke his Zanpakuto's bankai in a slightly agitated and annoyed voice. Instantly, three zombified cheetahs leaped from the ground around Tetsunosuke, who held his scythe in his [AnimePaper]scans_Soul-Eater_NosVII(1.14)__THISRES__188872.png]left hand; reading to strike with it if needed. All three cheetahs sprung into action, they quickly reached the top speed of their species, if not faster due to their zombified states. The first felidae would simply pounce on Dolor, using claws in teeth to hold the Exeaquare in place, The next two would come about to the left and right of Dolor, their reishi was distorted by Tetsunosuke at the last second, the cheetah's appeared to be leaping on their prey but exploded with a grand force along with the first one. The explosion would send a wave of heat toward Tetsu, causing his cloak to billow about. His head was totally visible as well as his grayed skin.
