Do YOU like your father?: It would be one thing if he took some pride in being the male consort . . . or being a hyena. He's just so . . .ugh. He's so lazy and dumb and . . . and FECKLESS. Just because I'm low on the totem pole doesn't mean I'm not a princess. No one's telling Zalika or Kabibi that they have to do other stuff . . . oh wait, I have to actually contribute to the clan cause I'm not even close to the throne. Fine. I'll go seek. And I'll bring back idiot handsome males that Zalika will fall for and then her pups will be dumb and Auntie won't be able to stand them and Zalika will actually have to do some work and then we'll see who is all excited to be the queen.
You are approached by your brother Kepo. He wants to play an elaborate trick on your cousin, Kele. Do you participate, or do you decline? Why?: Kepo's funny sometimes, but he's not very smart. He's just a male. Why would I help him play a trick on Kele? He can help me. At least Kepo's got some Feck though.

Zalika, your oldest sister, doesn't seem to pay much attention to you. Does this bother you? Why?: Good. She's probably not smart enough to be queen anyway. And her pups will be even stupider. Firstborn female is a stupid way to determine the heiress. It should go to the smartest.
Zalika aspires to be Queen, Kepo aspires to be a Princess and Kele aspires to kill Kepo. What are your aspirations?: I want to be the very best, like no one ever was! To catch them is my real test . . . for serious. I am the best. I 'm just not the oldest. But since I can't be queen, I'll be the best some other way. I'll recruit cunning strong females and handsome males for the harem and I'll raise them up to be sure no lions can ever bother hyenas again. Ever.
In this clan, status is everything to mostly everyone. Is it important to you?: Of course. Jeez a whiz, if status wasn't important, I might have to listen to Kepo. Or Kero. Or Kele. Ugh. That's just . . . ugh. Thankfully, they're males and they belong to the harem. So I don't have to deal with them. Good for me.
