Katsuro waited pateintly as the elevator made its way to the fourth floor, where he and his parents lived. Or at least it was where he lived and where his parents would come back to when they returned from their trips. He was of course accustomed to having one of them gone six months out of the year, such was the norm for Konaga, and his family was no exception. As the elevator reached the fourht floor, Katsuro could already feel his pain beginning to dull from the proximity of his mother. As he exited the elevator and began walking towards his family's apartment, each step he took eased his pain just a bit more. His mother had only been home a few months, and though he knew that within a few months the dulling effect would end, Katsuro couldn't help but bask in the relief of his agony.

Stopping at the door to his apartment, Katsuro reached towards the handle when the door was opened from the other side. Standing in the doorway, a warm smile on her face, stood Katsuro's mother, Ayame Konaga. "Welcome home, Katsu, how was your day?", Ayame asked in the gentle tone that only mothers can have. Returning his mother's warm smile, Katsuro gave his mother a firm embrace as he said simply, "It was fine, I helped to load medical supplies onto a caravan traveling to the other villages." Releasing his mother, Katsuro walked into the apartment, leaving his shoes by the door before heading towards the kitchen.

The inside of the apartment was quite spacious, his parents spending good money to renovate it to suit their own personal tastes and needs. The living room and kitchen were a part of the same room, separated only by a high counter top where they could eat their meals and the tiled floor of the kitchen. The living room was at a slightly lower elevation than the kitchen and entryway, a single step separating the floors. Three other doors connected to the living room, the bathroom, Katsuro's room, and his parent's room. As Katsuro searched through the kitchen for something to eat, his mother walked past to sit at the counter top as she watched her son.

As he prepared his meal, Katsuro looked up towards his mother and asked, "Actually, Mom, I was hoping you might be able to help me learn to use the power of my chakra, so that I might use it to defend the Village, and myself." Simply nodding her head, Ayame got up from her seat and walked towards her room, returning a few moments later with a scroll in hand. "This belongs to your father, neither of us ever became shinobi as you have, but all the same we are able to defend ourselves better than most, thanks to this scroll. It is an heirloom of your Great-Grandfather's so be careful with it, you will no doubt wish to give it to your own child some day", said Katsuro's mother. Laying the scroll on the counter, she nudged it towards her son before crossing her hands in front of her and smiling gently.

With a grateful smile, Katsuro took the scroll and placed it in the scroll pouch inside of his trench coat and said, "Thank you, I will keep it safe, do not fear." With his meal prepared, Katsuro quickly shoveled the food into his mouth, not caring to take his time as he could not enjoy the flavor regardless. Placing his dishes in the sink, Katsuro walked around the counter to give his mother a hug and a kiss good-bye before heading out the door. He was tired of being weak, and now was his opportunity to change that. As he left the apartment complex and his pain began to return, Katsuro let out a sigh, but he was accustomed to it by now, and he certainly wasn't going to let it stop him.

Walking back into the doorms, Luo nodded at the receptionist once more and headed towards the open elevator. Hitting his floor, he waited for the door to close patiently as he twiddled his thumbs. As the door closed, Luo sighed and looked at the counter waiting to get to his floor. As the door opened, Luo sighed and took a right as he headed for his room. Sliding his room card, he opened the door and walked back in. Placing his sleep gear back on, he passed out quickly in anticipation of the next day and the next mission.

Once Orion arrived at the house he once shared with his parents, he unlocked the door and stepped through the threshold, locking it behind him. The usual assault of memories didn't happen as he walked into the house this time however, his mind was preoccupied with his day of training, the mystery of Havik's two bodies, and tomorrow's mission. In short order he took off his various tool pouches, not bothering to empty them since he'd be needing them the following morning, and changed before crawling into his bed and falling asleep for the night, thoughts of tomorrow's mission in his head.

xxxxxxHaseo walked back to his bedroom, nodding towards the receptionist along the way. He lived on the same floor as Luo just right across from him. "What a day..." Haseo said to himself with an exasperated sigh as he slid the door open to his room, leaned his sword against the wall and toppled over his bed. Within seconds Haseo's snores rang through the room like a wild wilder-beast.
