Evil Kitty of DOOOM Mandy Amour Evil Kitty of DOOOM Mandy Amour I wasnt sure what to do about my golden halos, Ive seen the price drop dramatically since I bought them in the cash shop. Was considering cutting my losses, but Now I think I will hold on to them, and hope things turn in my favor. I have to agree. They may have gone down drastically in price, but they will always remain the first ever animated item on gaia. No item has ever perplexed me as much as this item has... it has been SO unpredictable since its release, and obviously nose-dived. Prepare to see a -low- leading up to July 15th. It may go as low as 300k around this time DX... I bought 50 of these at 700k, so needless to say I was hit hard. I'm just going to sit-through and wait on these for a few months. I still have high hopes for the item, though, as does all of the crew (I don't believe any of them posted negative feedback to this item) Thats great news to hear for me for sure. I realize they did take a nose dive, but this item is also very controversial on gaia right now. People aren't sure weather they should hate or love the item, and most are afraid to take the chance. I can;t say anything bad about it either. I highly believe this item will inflate in price eventually, we just have to be patient for this to happen. Like I said, No on can deny that this is in fact the first animated item on gaia, i say give it a year, two at most, and with all the newbies coming on and animated items becoming more popular, the halo will see its great rise once more. I do have a question thoughBlessed Stellarite, where on gods earth do you find them? I looked in the cash shop and everything and did not see them anywhere, so where did people pick up this item from? or did i just happen to miss it? Id like to stock up on a few. Stellarite is actually a very rare Daily Chance item. This investment comes with the highest level of risk because at any moment they're going to release stellarite either in the gold shop or the cash shop (99% chance it's going to be in the cash shop). So depending on the price there, it's going to affect the MP price of these. But as July 15th nears, the price of stellarite will increase. I agree. I think on this one I will wait it out and see what chance brings me. I can see getting a better deal from the cash shop then the MP. at least with the cash shop you expect gaia to be money hungry, where as the market place is subject to noobie inflaters. I cant imagine it being all that expensive. If they are, I highly doubt gaia will make any money off of them, not to mention it will be yet another turn off for the item, which gaia cannot afford right now.

niqht sky Lux, lets also remember the Golden Wings. Our group, back then, made the prediction that they're a 1year investment. Now might be a good time, due to them being so low. ---------------------------------------------
golden wings are still in high risk bcoz of there long term stay in the CS that made it deflate and as you have all remembered the previous items similar to the bundle in which the golden wings are in did stay in the CS for over a year so i dont recommend hoarding these item atm

Maladino Just to give more info: http://www.gaiaonline.com/journal/journal.php?mode=viewarchive&post_id=31721535&u=8357925A Ball Of Timey-Wimey Wibbly-Wobbly StellariteBased on the messages I've been reading, there's still a lot of confusion about animated items, so I wanted to clear it up a bit. Basically, when the animated items first came out, we told people that they would only be active for a month. There are a number of reasons for this, but chief among them is that we wanted to make sure that they didn't cause performance problems for the users. However, the user feedback to the animated items was favorable, and it didn't seem like there were any huge performance problems that needed to be solved, especially given the fact that we had an account setting that would allow users to turn off animations. So, given that we wanted to do more animated items in the future, we decided to go with "stellarite," a potion that would animate your items for a month. Currently, the potion is being given out in DC -- we'll be adding it to the stores soon for both GC and gold purchase. Stellarite is pretty expensive on the marketplace right now, because the chances of getting it via DC are pretty low -- but rest assured that it will soon become much cheaper. Note that stellarite applies to the user and not the items. Once you quaff that magical elixer, every single animated item you have will be animated for a month -- you don't have to buy 3 potions just because you have 3 animated items. Wow, I didn't know this. Looks like I'm selling the ones I already have then. mad
TaylorGS I had gotten a Compass a few days before the second gen came out, and am just amazed how much it has gone up since then! (And kicking myself, of course, for not buying more. But who isn't? xD) I love the poses so much though... but wouldn't want to miss out on profit. When would be the best time to downgrade from a first to second/third gen? Right after the Compass finishes evolving? The price of G1 will probably be at its highest when it finishes evolving but even now isn't a bad time to downgrade. The difference is almost 700k, which could also buy you a G8/G9/G10 as another investment.

I seriously love how this information went really detailed! Much more detailed than the last one I read (which was when the last announcement was........... err, I just forgot to stalk this thread, anyways...)
Thank you so much for making this, I love reading and understand it.
It definitely makes me think of what to get and what not to get before the what to get. heart

This was very helpful. I was getting a bit tired with my Kitty Slippers and NM Sashes.
I'll definitely pick up a few Banis and Roses. And a Fortune Ring, but probably just for for myself.
