Lizzie was feeling hopeful. The second Posiedon seemed nice. She hoped that Kattie would forgive her. Sisters tend to stick together. She needed both to like her.

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Kattie opened her mouth, surprised, but nothing came out. She tried again. "It's okay, it was really me who started it," Kattie said. What the heck? she thought to herself. Kattie's one to hold grudges. What was she saying. "It's nothing really," she mumblled to Arianna. Gods, what was wrong with her today?

Okay, so far so good, Lizzie thought. Now for the befriending part. "Listen, unless the two of you wanted to do something alone, I was wondering if I could help with anything?"
She crossed her fingers, she needed this chance.

Alex's surprise was rising by the second. First the apology, now this! Lizzie was trying to be nice! It was a sign of the apocolypse. Good gods this was weird. Something was going on and he wanted to find out what.

"No, but we could go look for him! I hope he's not kissing his girlfriend Annabeth, it's so weird for me to see them together! Seeing my brother with my cousin," Arianna gave a shiver, "it's just creepy and it feels wrong. Anyways come on lets go look for him." Arianna said wanting to get out of the cabin, all the tension between Kattie and Lizzie was suffocating her.

Oh darn, Alex thought, I've been discovered. Well lets get this over with. Alex went to stand up, bumped his head and fell face first behind Lizzie. He got up and said, "I don't think Percy's here right now. Although I can't be sure. Hey Liz, why don't you and I go looking for him?"

Alex can be such an idiot, Lizzie thought, oh no, he did not. "Uhmm Alex you go look for him, I have faith in you." With that she patted him on the back and unceremoniously shoved him out of the room.
"So now that Alex has that under control, anything else I can do," Lizzie said turning to Kattie and the other girl. Pointing in the other girls general direction, "I don't think I've seen you around before. What's your name again?"

She also wanted to know what the hell is going on. "How 'bout this? Lizzie and Alex can search for Percy on land, and we can check under the water - just in case, you know," Kattie bargined.

Lizzie had missed her chance. Arianna must suspect something. At least she was kind of nice. Best go chase down Alex, she thought.
When she finally caught up with him, Alex was sitting under a tree, alone. "Weren't you out looking for Percy?"
Alex shook his head no looking angrier by the second. Then he suddenly composed himself. He started to speak then stopped, then started again and stopped again. He then walked away.
"Wait Alex! Where are you going?"

Alex was so annoyed with Lizzie. He could just blow up. "I am going to blow up. I need to be alone. Away from you!" He then ran away.
Then he started to feel guilty and walked back to her. She hadn't moved a muscle. "Listen, I am sorry. I just hate it when you fight. I also know that you're up to something, I'm going to find out Lizzie. Mark my words, I will find out."
With that he stormed away, off to the Hermes Cabin. His only home.

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Kattie and Arianna started out towards the water. Kattie looked around and saw Alex was heading back to his own cabin. "Let's hurry up, before Lizzie finds us," Kattie said, picking up the pace.
