User Image The water burned Jack's skin for five minutes longer than necessary. He was facing the shower head, head bent down, one arm against the wall to hold him steady. The water poured on his neck and down his back. This is when Jack had his best ideas. It wasn't true, his most brilliant actions were in the heat of battle, but for tracking this seemed to be the spot.

It only took those five minutes for Jack to gather what he needed. If she was stealing a man away from the bar, that meant she was probably at the club across the street. That would be the most logical place for him to start. His free hand reached down to turn off the water.

As soon as the water stopped dripping out of the shower head, Jack opened the curtain and went to the nearest towel rack to grab the largest towel. The towel dried him as he ran it over his body. Once he was dry he put his clothes back on before he walked into the main room. Jack pulled his guns back out from under the bed and slipped the straps back on.

His long jacket was put on last. Jack would come back for the bag after he'd found out more at the club. Once he'd found a general idea of where to go, he could drop the bag off at one of the numerous storage areas he had free access to. Jack took the stairs to get down the building's first floor, then went outside to hail a cab. It would be faster than when he had walked last night.

User ImageThis early in the morning, the airport was crowded with people. If she was being followed for any reason, this would be the best place to lose her trackers. Amaiya carried only one bag with her, a silver pack that matched her hair.

Her first stop here was the restroom. Much to her surprise, the large room lined with stalls on both walls was empty. Good, that would make this much quicker. Taking a stall on the farthest end of the room, Mai closed herself in. Immediately, she dumped the contents of her backpack: weapons, cellphones, outfits, and a few odd-looking jewels spilled out. How she had gotten past airport security with these was simple. She hadn't gotten to the gates yet.

Flipping the back inside-out, Mai began stuffing her things back into the now black bag. As she did this, the color of her hair began to change to a dark brown. She would stand out like a sore thumb, even in this place, with the hair she had now. When the bag was nearly full, save for a few items of clothing, Mai quickly changed her clothes. As she was stripping, she heard a number of females enter the room.

"...because of the recent attacks. I just hope that we all have safe flights, and that our men can find those terrorist scum."

"My husband almost kept me from going on this trip with you. He's afraid they are going to blow up a plane, next. To be honest, I considered canceling, but I don't think there will be a problem."

Mai's smile could not be seen by the others as she changed her clothes behind the stall door. No, they would make it to wherever they were going, though she doubted many would be making it back. There were already plans in motion for two planes to go down next week. Mai hadn't taken the job, since she didn't owe anything at this point. However, she was still considering doing it, especially now. She had taken the women's words as almost a challenge. They thought they were safe, and she wanted to let them know otherwise. Now, however, was most definitely not the time.

Throwing her bag over her shoulder, which was covered in a thick black hoodie, Mai exited her stall just as the other women were entering theirs. As she walked out the door, she dialed another number.

"I'm here," she said dully.

"The bags are already checked. Leave yours in a chair in the food court."

"See you in an hour," she replied, then hung up the phone. It was going to take a while to board her plane, this she knew. The bags were merely for show, and they would be picked up by someone who was replacing her. When the plane landed, Mai wasn't going to be on it, but someone else would be in her place, and they would need those bags.

Stopping in the foodcourt, Mai set her bag down and rushed over to one of the lines. When she got to the front, she merely asked for a price, then stepped away from the counter as though changing her mind. Seeming to have forgotten the bag there, she went to the gates.

After she'd gotten past security, Mai sat in the boarding area, waiting for the flight to be called so that people could start boarding the plane.
