SaintKareshi So me and a few friends had a gig and we had practiced for days. So when it came time to do it I had the flu but went anyway. So I took like 8 different types of medicine to help. After about 30 minutes of playing Istart to get dizzy and next thing I know I'm on the floor with EMTs around me. I had passed out from the meds and my fever. Wrost part I was in a skirt when I felll heh Raven Black Mine would have to be during a sax solo in band I passed out because of the lights or something I woke up an hour later in the hospitol. fun This seems to be a common thing among our members. whee

OK...i was playing a christmas jazz piece for my school at a local mall, and i was using a monster amp...first song, i couldn't hear my bass, so i turned up the amp...and then realized that my pickup controls were all the way down...so without turning the amp down, i turn the pickup controls back up and go into the next song and completely drown out the rest of the band for a few seconds until i could get my volume back down...it was hilarious...

That actually happens to me once in a while, but never on stage, only at practice, I tend not to flirt with my on-bass knobs during the show.

Watching the actual bassist attempt to crowd surf, fall, hit the ground, and break his arm and leg. Then they had to put me onstage, cuase they needed a basser.
I was playing my favourite song to do, and doing a little dance when I didn't need to be singing. I wasn't looking, tripped in the drum kit. There goes the bass, the bassist, and the drum kit.
I liek to stick in little bass solos at random places, and when I finish I'll do something to show I cool I am. I decided to do a bass spin (the one where you flick the guitar/bass over your shoulder, and the strap carries at around your back and back front) Somehow, it didn'tand smacked me in teh back of the head.
The guitarist decided to be funny, and pushed me off stage (I wasn't playing bass, I was out fixing a bass string) and I flew out into the crowd, the crowd caught me and Justin said, "Uh, can we have our roadie back? On Fridays she doubles a a groupie." (He was only kidding)

Our band teacher was really into jazz, he always made us play three out of four songs consisting of jazz. my friend and i made it into advanced band and it was our first year playing bass. He got really mad at us about something, so he got us back by not helping us understand how to play these jazz songs. my bass teacher helped me out. i learned the songs a wek before, while my friend still struggled. when it came to preformance night, she made me play for her and i got super nervous. i stood up and everyone saw me play. she began to play during one or two of the songs. everyone didn't see her play so they thought i was screwing up. i began to move around on stage. it was covered in wires. i stepped on my chord taking out the whole sound system. i fell back, protecting my bass. i held it over my head rather than let it crash. everyone laughed at me.

Sunday, the last song we played, the drummer and I start the sogn, and the guitarists come in a few seconds later. Lead guitarist comes in too soon, and the singers follow him, so pretty much it sounded like we were playing 2 different songs at the same time. Can you say "Train Wreck"? (Woo Woo!). And guess who got the blaim for it? Yeah, me and the drummer.....

Worst moment caused by me:
Me and my former band Brighton Rock were playing along to our set list. It was only a small gig at a local venue but we knew there were going to be people from the Battle Of The Bands there so we knew we had to do well and hopefully get invited to play for them. Of course me being the idiot I am I stepped on one of my pedals (I have a fairly large set) and somehow managed to change my amp level (don't ask). Yeah well that just messed our whole song and we had to physically stop to sort things out. My amp never was the same!
Worst moment caused by other band member:
The old guitarist for our band was a little bit of a moron. We were warming up for a gig and he was messing around with my bass, just playing a few chords and stuff (remember he plays guitar not bass) and he managed to break one of my strings....how I have no idea. We didn't have a spare bass with us and I had to travel nearly 20 miles home to get another bass so I could play. When we got it there I wasn't so happy playing it because I'm not so fond of it and he just decided to stop playing half way through a song and leave me playing solo because he knew it would wind me up!

my worst moment on stage was when my band and me played "sweet child of mine" at our school's talent show. And some duface snuck up on stage and turned it down when i wasnt looking! and it was a behringer 300 watt amp too! i tryed turning it up but i didnt want to turn it up too mush, so i just kept playing hoping it was good enough. aperantly not, for after the show i got no appreciation. crying

Kirtar Woah, why do you play with headphones on? Don't you need to listen to the other people, too? That's a new one on me... Well, its connected to a mic at the front of the stage which helps me as I can concentrate on my playing. Some drummers and the guitarist from Linkin Park do it also.
