Perking her ears as she heard the sounds of him entering the water she motioned to turn, ready to ask what he was doing before she felt the rubbing on her back. Immediately relaxing as she kept still, it was nice to feel the substance wash away and not keep her fur bound in painful clumps.
Once he was finished and the black ooze dissolved in the water she turned with a grateful smile. "Thanks, Banes." It was then that she noticed a bit of black from where the demon had managed to get a lick in probably from when he was tackled and chuckled. "Hold on, looks like you didn't escape either." Wading around to his side it took only a moment to rub the black off, before it was pooling just on the water. "There!" With a thumbs up and a wink, she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Your welc- HEY!!" he was beyond freaked out of her sudden advance and touching his side to clean off some unnoticed junk. He didn't fight, but was more so shocked.
When she game him the ok he could only stare wide eyed and red as a beat. "Thank..you?" he managed to say after lord knows how silent he was for

A bit taken back at just how red his face was, the vixen blinked and tilted her head. "You look pretty red, Banes...did you put on that sunscreen?" She inquired, motioning back to the blankets. "I'd hate for you to get heat stroke...if its possible for foxes to, that is." Although, she was wondering if that was really it and not something else. Yet it seemed so far fetched that she forced it as a write off in her mind.
However, that little voice kept nagging as she placed a paw behind her head and scratched for a moment. "I....didn't mean to make you uncomfortable if I did."

Grinning sheepishly, he rubbed the back of his head and chuckled nervously. "Well You kind of surprised me." he said trying to be cool and casual even though inside he was practically melting further.
He coughed a bit to break the ice again. "Soo...uh...back to my water that..I left..over..there" he said slowly making his way back over to the duffel bag where he set his water down

Softening her gaze as she watched the poor guy, it had been way too long since she felt so nervous around a guy; yet she knew she didn't want to start now...not if she was starting fresh right? It was always a chance for change, well, for the better without masking who one really was anyways.
"Water you say?" With his back turned he didn't get to see her smirk and stand in the water, navigating a few quiet lunges in the water before she was close enough and bent over. With one hard slap of her paw and arm she got a good wave to splash Banes with, making sure she aimed high enough to get some water into his once dry hair. Giggling impishly she scooted back along the shore to get out of range with a flick of her tail, "You'll find out i'm full of surprises!"

Suddenly feeling a brisk cold wetness cover his head, he whipped around with a smirk on his face. "Oh...is that how you want to play eh?" he said with a devious grin growing on his mug. He ran towards the water, and aimed a jump just far enough away from her to not tackle her, but close enough to splash water all over her.
"Show me what you got" he said taking up a mock fighting stance. If there was anything he enjoyed most, it was a game of wrestling...the water made it even more appealing in his mind

Laughing merrily, she was glad for that tension to have been washed away almost literally...that is, until he broke into a run back to the water. "OH what!" She yelped and struggled to move away but wasn't fast enough as the splash thoroughly soaked her further. Spitting out water from her mouth and pushing the escaped tendrils of hair out of her eyes from her ponytail; she sent him a mocking glare as a smirk stretched across her own lips.
"Oh now you're in for it!" She bantered, sliding into her own playful stance as and motioned with her paw to come forth. "Ladies first...." She winked, but in the next moment slapped her arm hard against the surface to create another splash, moving forth right behind it to attempt to snatch his shoulders to push like a sumo wrestler.

Being splashed with more water, he brought up his arms to try and protect his face so he would be able to see after the wall of liquid fell. As soon as his arms lowered though, he noticed that Kay had charged him and had grabbed onto his shoulders and started pushing. Caught of guard, and with the loose sand below, he soon tumbled down into the water, and created another splash.
"Oh...bring it!" he growled playfully as he got back up and reached out to take her shoulders as well and return the pushing match

Laughing merrily, she closed her eyes quickly when the water from his fall splashed up into her face; wiping it away quickly only to feel the paws on her shoulders and instinctively reached out to grab his in a true pushing match. Sliding back along the sand as her paws didn't have the momentum she had before, she could feel her tail struggling to keep her balance while weighted under water.
"Ugh!" She groaned, trying to find a spot to give her some leverage; all the while grinning. "Not fair, not fair!" Of course it was playful banter, as she twisted her torso to the side to try and throw him off balance that way.

He only could smile mischievously, as he was used to brawling like this. He just had to remind himself it was not only for fun, but he was not trying to hurt her or arrest her as well.
Feeling her try to throw him, he stepped into her shift of weight, and used her momentum against her. He wasn't sure how strong she truly was, but if he had his guesses, the momentum change was likely to at least swing the fight in his favor by throwing her to the water...but if her strength was great, he would go down with her

Catching glimpse of that smile, she frowned as she didn't quite like it and soon discovered what that smile was foreshadowing as her balance slowly began to slip. The shift in weight thew her completely off as her fur along her back bristled, while she knew she wasn't strong as she'd like in this body; it was a hell-a-vu lot swifter.
Catching a rock under her paw she quickly twisted her body and with a yip she pulled herself up to cling onto his shoulders; figuring if he had a good enough stance she would be saved from the dunk or at least she'd take him down with her. Either way seemed a win-win for her so she held on tight, "Oh no you don't!"

Just as he had expected, his counter tactic worked nicely for him, and also like he predicted, he was drug down with her, but he had some time to react. While hitting the water, he tried to roll. Getting her to release her grip would have allowed him to flip back on his feet. Where this a criminal, he would have already grabbed her wrist, twisted it and forced her to do what he wanted with using the control technique, but he had to be nice, so rolling would have to do
"Come on. Is that all you got?" he jested playfully as he tried to get back to his feet

Plunging into the water the vixen barely had time to take a breath, feeling his body wrentch from her grasp she made sure to twist herself and take a few underwater strokes to the shallower end to get her footing back. Standing up and tossing the hair from her face, she turned around just in time to see Banes getting up to stand as well.
"You bet your a** it isn't!" She called back, turning and taking the opportunity to splash in and lunge at him; tossing herself onto his back and held on around his collar bone. "Yeeeehaw!" Kay was aware that she should be weary about his specialty trained abilities as an officer as she was painfully aware the first time they met; figuring she'd need to use her similar size to her better advantage.

Soon giving Kay a piggy back ride, he nearly fell over at first, but caught his balance as she took hold of his collar bone. "Remember something about breaking horses Kay." he said looking up at her with a hint of wickedness in his eyes. "Your horse has to be under complete control." he smirked. With that, he just let his legs ease up and let gravity do the rest as he fell backwards. Being in water, it wouldn't have hurt anyone too much, but it was still going to have that same "slap in the face" effect

Looking down to Banes she felt pretty confident that he wouldn't be able to flip her over at this rate and beamed in a silent success. That is, until she saw that look in his eyes and felt her face visibly falter, only one word crossing her mind. Faaaccckkk.
"Noooo!" She cried out as she felt her weight drag them down into the water; still holding on for the first moment or two before breaking off under water and swimming up to the shore. Surfacing she pushed all the locks out of her face, having to take out her pony completely from the tousle and chuckled to herself. Sitting on the shore about waist deep she took a breather, waiting for her companion to surface. "No wonder I've never been a horse person..."
