Akherontis Javier Cross Akherontis Selene is the goddess of the moon. Hekate is a goddess of nocturnal prophecies, necromancy, witchcraft, ghosts, and crossroads. She has lunar associations (sometimes she is said to represent the dark side of the moon), but she is not a moon goddes per-se. Neither is Artemis. For example, Apollon is a god of healing, but Paion is THE god of healing. Hera is a goddess of marriage, but Hymenaios is THE god of the marriage ceremony. Demeter is a goddess of nature, but Gaia IS Nature. Thanks for helping to clear it up. Is it just me, or could i have sworn that the music to Selene was meant to be from the middle ages, somewhere? It's the ancient Orphic hymn to Selene, sung to the tune of classical Greek instruments reconstructed by an ancient historian. The Kithara, signature instrument of Apollon, is the ancestor to the Guitar. No wonder about the music. The music made me on the verge of swearing of hearing something familiar from celtic music[i'm glad i stopped myself, though!] So Apollo's signature instrument is the ancestor to the Guitars we know today? Interesting. Selene is an interesting Goddess, isn't she?

If by interesting you mean she fell in love with a shepherd boy, had him put into an eternal slumber so she could be with him, and then mothered 20 daughters on him despite his condition - then yes, she is an interesting goddess. xd

I wouldn't consider it a good time if the other party (in this case, Endymion) was snoring the whole time through.

Akherontis Dionysus or Bacchus Aphrodite Philopannyx Dionysus or Bacchus So Great Aunty Aphrodite, however do you get your hair that straight? I have very manageable hair due to my divine baths of course. ... And there's no need to call me your Aunt, even if its more youthful then great grandmother... Such a flatterer. lol That reminds me, poor Harmonia; her daughters never did find any happiness. Um, are you forgetting one particular daughter? Namely, your mother Semele, who became the goddess Thyone after you yourself brought her back from Hades? I still resent that. Don't think you can do it again, Dionysus!!!

That's nothing. Herakles impregnated twenty virgin princesses in one night.

Your aunt and uncle, Okeanos and Tethys, have six thousand children; three thousand sons (the Potamoi) and three thousand daughters (the Okeanides). Though the jury's out as to whether they produced them the old fashioned way or the REALLY old fashioned way (pathenogenesis).

Hahaha, that would be just like a titan to make his consort to do all the work.

Speaking of those days, I just did an avatar of Hades when he was younger, during the Titanomakhia. Compare with his older one. XP

Everyone says that these days, but there are enough pretty-boy godlings running about the place. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades are supposed to look mighty and patriarchal. So I suppose that new avatar is fanservice. xd
