Kai smiled at Kaze as he offered her his chicken since she didn't order in time, damn old lady and her cat. "Thanks Kaze." She wanted to decline it for not liking meat much but she would eat it. She used chopsticks to eat the chicken. 'You guys are going to spar? Don't kill eachother." Kai didn't want to explain to the kage why one of them died or both. She ate the piece of chicken slowely with little bites. She slipped Barbecue sauce on the pieces of chicken Kaze had split with her.

Emily clapped both her hands together seeing the waitress place her sweet dumpling on the table.Their were six round pieces of bread dough filled with meat,fish,sweet's.She picked up a chopstick and ran it threw three of the dumplings then ran anther chopstick to the rest.Now they were on sticks like a marshmellow rost or shish kabob.Taking a bite out of one.The flavor was like ablast in her mouth. It was sweet of them, but unnecessary... it was just who he was. "Don't be sorry Emily, it is simply what it is. We are all different in our own ways and we all get by how we can. It's nothing I haven't handled since I was born." That last part wasn't completely true since a Konaga's pain slightly increases as he grows older and attains more power, but he didn't really feel like it was necessary to explain such things. Shinji quickly found himself laughing at Kaze's strange comment, letting out a bit of a loud, but short belly laugh at his comment on torture. "Ha! I suppose not eh, it makes me the perfect candidate for being caught in a mission I suppose. though i still would tend to try and avoid that. It does have it's benefits though... I find I'm typically able to push myself further then most could. A blessing and a curse I assure you."
When kaze began to speak about how he felt a deeper connection with Shinji now then before in knowing more about his pain, Shinji seemed to wonder what kind of pain Kaze would consider comparable. such a question was not something to be asked at the table however as there was the possibility of it being incredibly personal and thus not for public discussion. "Well then Kaze, all the more reason for that match. i'm ready whenever you are, but you better be careful what you wish for. Strange chakra patterns or not... you're not only facing a Konaga, but now you're facing a Chuunin as well. I've never backed down from a challenge before though, and I'm not about to start now. But after we eat... of course."
With the food finally arriving, Shinji carelessly tossed the meat on the grill one item after the other. Some of it got burned, other parts looks mangled and none to appetizing and he didn't even bother with the delicious sauces. In fact, no sense of enjoyment could be seen on his face at all in eating the food. of course, the fact that he couldn't taste a damn thing wasn't common knowledge, but Shinji didn't really feel like explaining even more about himself. He just simply wolfed down the food, packing it away like a bottomless pit before hearing Kai speak.
"Oh relax Kai... don't worry, we won't wake you from your nap. Besides, I think I have enough control not to kill a Genin of our own village. it wouldn't look good on my record, or speak well to other people joining the village either." of course, he knew his words would probably irk Kaze a bit as they were flagrantly boisterous to his inevitable victory, but that was exactly who Shinji was. As he said the words he concluded it with a bit of a mischievous smile towards Kaze as he continued to pack the food away mercilessly.

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Hearing Shinji giving Kaze reasons to why victory was 'not in sight', Kaze could only chuckle, and continue eating. It was funny, overconfidence was usually the downfall of most opponents.
As Kai said what she said, and Shinji's response sort of... Erm.. It made Kaze choke on his food for a brief moment before it allowed him to properly go down his throat in a rather loud gulp. "Ah Shinji, we'll see." Kaze said with a smirk. Shinji's overconfidence...It was a rather funny characteristic to have. Kaze continued eating, taking his time. He took sips of water on occasion. It was funny.. Kaze had taken on a Chuunin before, and he was tough. An Uchiha, yes, it wasn't easy at all. Now, another Chuunin, except, with higher chakra. It should be fun. It will be tough. Ha... It really will be fun.
Kaze's thoughts raced as he chewed his food, anticipating the match.

Kai dropped her head with a sign. Lifting it up to look at Shinji. "But...I didn't mean...uhhh wait...don't you dare go near my tree by the way!" She lifted her arm and hand up to her mouth and pointed chopsticks at Shinji and Kaze. "And what makes you think I'm heading straight to a nap after we eat?" Kai was gonna take a nap afterwards but that wasen't the point.

 Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin As she neared the Yakitori grill, Riko suddenly felt a wave of calm wash over her, a sure sign of the presence of another Konaga. 'Could it be Shinji-san?' Eagered to get her answers, Riko picked up her pace only to stop and wince as pain erupted throughout her body. Even with the presence of another Konaga nearby, the sudden onset of pain was still agonaizing. Taking deep breaths and slowly counting to ten, Riko soon found herself back in control of the raging pain and knew that it was a sign that she needed to rest from her journey. 'A full meditation cycle will have to wait though, my stomach is pretty much on empty and without food, I doubt, I'll be able to meditate in peace.'
Entering the Yakitori grill, Riko searched the tables and immediately spotted Shinji, thanks to the link, and Kaze, due to his vibrent red hair, as well as two other females. Not thinking much of it, Riko excitedly headed back to the table and greeted her fellow shinobi. "Hey Shinji-san, Kaze-san, minna. So how are you all doing?"

Konaga Shinji| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile || Continuing to smile as he could see Kaze's wheels turning, Shinji was excited for what would seem to be a fun and unique sparring match to be. At the very least, he would be able to see what some of that special chakra about Kaze was all about. "I suppose we shall see soon enough." Continuing his feast, he chuckled as Kai questioned him once again, but was quick to make his rebuttal... "C'mon Kai, you're not fooling anyone here. We all know you're looking forward to the nap. Most people are tired enough after they eat... stands to reason you'd be DOUBLY so!"
With about half of the food now gone due to Shinji's voracious appetite, he picked up his glass to take a sip of water when he felt a distinct feeling flood over him, relaxing and soothing him. Without much surprise, Riko arrived at the table, saying hello to everyone in her usual chipper voice. "Well hello there Riko, would you care to join us? You can have some of my food until you get to order some of your own if you'd like. I still have a decent amount left. It's not like it matters what I ordered or anything either, so this way you can just get started now and you won't have to sit and wait for food to come while watching everyone else eats."

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Looking to the direction of a familiar voice, Kaze saw a green haired girl. Then, one named ran threw his head-- 'Riko.' ... Or, someone else he knew that had green hair! She even came to the table, even adding a "-San" to his name. Such honorifics. "Ah. Long time no see, Riko!" Kaze said, with joy filled tone. She and Shinji were of the same clan. So.... She was always in pain, too. Sad, actually. But, it seemed like Konaga were the ultimate mechanisms of coping.
At any rate, she was invited to eat with Shinji, which was appropriate, didn't want to have her just standing there! "So, Riko, what have you been up to lately?" Kaze inquired, eating another piece of chicken, waiting on her response.

Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin Still smiling, Riko nodded her head in response before taking a seat across the table from Emily and beside the unknow female with pink hair. "Sure, thanks for the offer Shinji-san." Motioning the waitress over to bring her another set of utensils as well as a menu, Riko heard the girl with brown hair and purple and pink streaks introduce herself. Turning to face the girl, Riko flashed her a warm smile, "Konaga Riko, its a pleasure to meet you Emily-san."
Taking the stuff from the waitress, Riko thanked her before placing the items in front of her, she would look at the menu after the initial greetings. Smiling back at Kaze in response to his greeting, Riko poured herself a cup of tea as she began her reply. "Hello Kaze-san. Yes, it has been awhile hasn't it? As for me, after parting ways with Shinji-san and his father, I procceeded to visit my own family back up in the mountains. I just got back a few minutes ago." Picking up her cup, Riko took a small sip of tea before continuing. "So how about you guys? Did anything interesting happen?"

Emily stared blinking for a moment hearing Riko say her last name.Thinking hard about it her and Shinji are cousins and since he would have pain due to their clan she would have it to.Emily drunk some more of her water before it was all gone whle listing to Riko story.She was going to feel stupdied for asking a few questions about her and Shinji being cousin's or something but felt not asking would leave endless wonders. "That must have been fun hanging out with him and his father then with your family,are you and Shinji like cousins or something.Emily said then waved her hand childishly."I have been studying and rescarching on medical stuff lots of hard work remebering every body part in humans and animals." Kai dropped her hed again, defeated by the rpedictible routine everyone knew she had, Sleep, eat, sleep, train, sleep. "Aw man, guess I'm caught." She looked up to see another female with green hair, did everyone in this village have odd hair colors?! Pink, green, purple with brown, white and red! "Hey, I'm Kai." Talking to Riko. "Shinji your so mean, I train sometimes too! But the tree is perfect this month when it blooms!" Mostly cause it's pinkness hid her so well.

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Kaze was surprised to hear that Riko got back, only just a few minutes ago. Kaze had been here for about.. What? A few minutes? An hour? Who knows. "That's nice you got to see your family, Riko." Kaze said with a smile. It was nice she still had her family, from what she said, Shinji did, too.
"Did anything interesting happen... Well, for me, lots of things happened." Kaze said, thereafter putting another piece of chicken in his mouth. He continued doing this after each chicken was chewed and swallowed. He utilized his chopsticks to do this, too.
Kaze looked at Kai, who seemed to be fussing at Shinji, which Kaze laughed lightly at, it wasn't too funny, but funny to say the least. He looked at Shinji, then at Riko, then to Emily. 'Hmmm.' He thought to himself, his mind trying to piece things together. He just found it odd that... Anyway...
Continuing to eat his food at a 'steady' pace, Kaze had only.. About, a ton of things on his mind. It was unusual for that to happen. His head was usually clear, but, then again, in Bamboogakure, there aren't many problems to think about.

Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin As she waited for everyone's responses, Riko simply picked up her chopsticks and took some of the meat from the various plates in front of Shinji and tossed them onto the grill. When greeted by the young lady with the pink hair, Riko flashed her a quick smile. "Nice to meet you Kai-san."
At Emily's question, Riko took a moment to consider her answer and simply nodded while flipping over some of her meat. "It was a very interesting experience to say the least and it doesn't hurt to visit one's family every now and then." Placing some of the meat onto her plate, Riko continued onto answering Emily's question. "I guess you could call us cousins of sorts...the appropriate term would most likely be distant relatives but I guess cousins could work seeing how we're both apart of the same clan and the clan is really well-traveled so not many clan members know those beyond their immediate family."
Taking a bite of her food, Riko could taste the blendness of it all and didn't waste anytime in swollowing it. What was the point of savouring something you couldn't even really taste? "Medical stuff huh? So I guess you're aiming to be a medic then Emily-san? That's a nice profession, though I doubt its anything I could've excelled at with the way my chakra flows." Taking anything bite, Riko turned her attention onto Kaze, "Okay so spill, you said tons of things happened so what are they?"
