Huang tried to protest against Jianyu, his face was red because Jianyu and him and sorta of embraced but not really, his wrist was just a little sore from the spar but nothing a wrap and some time to heal wouldn't fix.
"I think i would know if i am fin-" Huang cut off as Jianyu's head bent low to his and rested his forehead on his own, which had Huang's "Fever" intensify. How was it that he could go from a battle of emotions and baring of his soul to Jianyu to blushing and acting like a girl with a school girl crush.
"I do not nee-" Huang was again cut off when Jianyu hauled him up his back, too tired to struggle now, he laid there limply and let his mouth protest for him, "You shouldn't have to carry me! Are you not tired as well?" Huang questioned though his voice was getting meek.
"I can make it home just fine." Huang said with a little bite but with his voice becoming even meeker, it came out as a small little mumble. He could feel his eye's drifting a bit, and tried to will them open. It was comfortable here on his friends back, and Huang was tired. He dozed a bit as Jianyu walked them back into the house.

Jianyu studiously ignored Huang-Fu's protests as he carried him back into the quiet house, the boy's voice getting a little more tired with each cry of indignation. The Qian Household was silent, mainly because most of his family was within the main part of the tattoo parlor for his father's work. His mother was out with his sisters, and his brothers with their father. Jianyu's footsteps echoed as he padded down the empty hallway.
"I am not tired." Jianyu answered, but that was not entirely true. His arms ached slightly, and his chest still hurt from the kick Huang had managed to aim there. However, he was determined to provide whatever was necessary for Huang's recovery, and that meant putting aside his own discomfort. As they crossed the hallway into the separated family area, Jianyu took a few steps to the left, ending up in a silent, darkened hall with only a single door at the end of it. He walked down and carefully slid the door open.
Jianyu's room was sparse, with only a few decorations here and there. A single, large, flat futon took up most of the space against the far wall, and there was an elegant mahogany wood bureau standing against the wall beside it. A small bedside table with a bowl and pitcher for water was placed neatly beside the futon, and on another wall were empty hooks for Jianyu's bow and arrows. There were several of his older, no longer in use bows already placed carefully upon the the wall, and a small, thin painting of an ocean scene was stretched beneath them.
Very carefully, so as not to disturb Huang, Jianyu knelt beside his bed and slid the boy from his back, moving him to the bed. Huang's eyes were closed, and his breathing deep and even. Jianyu gently brushed aside some of his sweat-dampened hair and then sat cross-legged beside the futon, reaching up to get the bowl of water and a cloth. He dipped the cloth into the water and then dabbed it onto Huang's flushed face, trying to get the redness to go down.

Huang could feel himself being transported carefully and thanked Jianyu for that, even though he had started to drift into a deep and even sleep, he was unaware but aware of Jianyu's care for him. He felt the softness of the bed under him and the cooling touch of water on his brow. Just as he could feel the soreness of his body, and the fever from his constant blushing had actually become a fever of exhaustion and stress.
As he slipped further into sleep, he dreamed of the death of his friend. Though it was not scary nor disturbing like he so often remembered. This time is was just grief and in his dreams he cried, and in his sleep filled body, tears slid down his cheeks. Because the sadness he felt was a different kind. It was not acceptance of Yuan's death yet in his dream, but the knowledge that one day soon, he would let go of his friend. And in the dream he saw of Yuan's body, whole and not mutilated as it started to drift of into the distance.
Huang awoke slowly in the strange bed, still in a dream state brought on by the fever and stared at Jianyu in a haze and cocked his head, he reached a hand up to touch the man's cheek, "Your so handsome Jianyu..." Huang let his hand wander around, still thinking of it as a dream instead of real, "What is it that draws me to you so?" Huang's eyes we're half closed now as he smiled at Jianyu, his fever playing with his mind and body, sitting up now, he reached for Jianyu again.

It was a few hours later that Jianyu was roused by Huang once more. After he had spent a while pressing the damp cloth to Huang's flushed, fevered face, he had himself fallen into a light doze while sitting beside the futon, his arms crossed over his chest. He woke a few times, only to clean the cloth and put it back in place on Huang's forehead, and once to gently brush away the unexpected tears that were coursing silently down the younger boy's face. Jianyu could only assume that he had been dreaming of his friend again; the friend he had lost, the friend he had been so connected to.
After that, Jianyu had managed to fall back into a light sleep again, only to be aroused around an hour later when he heard Huang stirring. Opening his eyes, Jianyu saw the younger boy looking up at him, his face flushed, his eyes dizzy with the fever as he reached up, his slender fingers dancing lightly down Jianyu's face. Jianyu reached up, catching Huang's hand in his as the boy sat up.
"Not so handsome." Jianyu replied. "You are quite a bit more attractive than I am. Lay back down, please. Your fever is still high."

Huang angled his head at the man in confusion, Jianyu held his hand now, asking him to lay down. Huang cocked his head again and shifted with his sleepiness.
"I do not have a fever." Huang was still Huang even with his fever that was making him disillusioned and protested to lay down. This was his dream after all, "I do not understand what you mean? You find me to be appealing?" Huang shifted again, moving to look Jianyu only a breath's away from his face the man, Jianyu certainly was attractive himself, Huang couldn't find anything that he didn't feel wasn't attractive. At the moment though, Huang had barely registered what he was thinking as he laid his lips on the other Legionnaire's, softly and hazy.
"I am in love with you Jianyu, though i am not sure when it happened." Huang eye's burrowed in confusion again, his fever becoming worst in his disillusionment, "Too bad this is all but a dream for naught, I do not find myself brave enough to this to you really." Huang placed his hands on Jianyu's chest now, intent of stripping the boy, Still stuck in what he thought curtains of the dream world and real world.

"You do, in fact, have a fever." Jianyu corrected, as he tried to force Huang to lay back down. "You are not thinking correctly - "
He was stopped, rather abruptly, by Huang pressing his lips against his. Jianyu's eyes widened and for a moment he couldn't react, frozen in his attempt to move. Huang's mouth was soft against his own, and as he pulled back, the other boy's face was flushed, his eyes half shut. Jianyu stared at him, trying to wrap his mind about what was going on.
" 'In love with me..?' " Jianyu repeated, blinking rapidly. "I do not...understand what exactly you are talking about - "
Huang's hands had moved to Jianyu's chest, the gesture startling Jianyu and causing him to reel backwards, a little too hastily. He fell backwards, accidentally pulling Huang with him, managing to barely catch himself before his head cracked into the wooden floor. Jianyu looked up at Huang, his hand against the boy's fevered forehead.
"Please get back in bed." Jianyu said, but his words were somewhat less forecful than they had been before. Confusion was clouding his thoughts. "You are not yourself, Huang."

"I do not, and i am thinking correctly." Huang pouted like a child, and then frowned. Jianyu was trying to force him to lay down but did not want to and got the small satisfaction when his kissed threw the man from his goal. He could see that Jianyu had become flustered by the kiss and felt a small victory over the man.
He had broken the man's calm but more so had gotten his point across. Or so he thought until Jianyu went back to putting him back into bed. This was his dream after all, and Jianyu would not get his way here.
"Yes in love, though i am not sure what that entitles me, since i have never been in love?" Huang said in his dream haze to his dream Jianyu. He had loved Yuan but not like he loved Jianyu, or maybe it wasn't love that he felt at all? Since he didn't know and it was hurting his head to think about it. "Has Jianyu been in love?"
His hands still rested on the man's chest, with every intent on undressing him when Jianyu jerked back in response and sent them reeling to the floor, Huang now leaning over the man as Jianyu pressed his hand to Huang's forehead again, still insisting on this fever!!
"Of course i am still myself." Huang frowned again, his body was so heavy now and his eyes we're drifting again, His fever was working its way to making him even more exhausted, and even in the dream state he was in, he was pushing it.

"You are not yourself." Jianyu said, feeling as if he were being repetative. "You are acting quite strangely."
The question that fell from Huang's lips stopped him cold. Jianyu stared up at the boy, his hand still pressed against his warm forehead as Huang kept his place above him.
Have I ever...been in love..?
It was a confusing question. Even Jianyu himself was not quite certain what exactly being "in love" entailed. He had been quite fond of a certain someone back when he was a bit younger, but the girl had moved away and Jianyu had not been all that sad about it. So perhaps that was not the "love" that Huang was speaking of?
Then what was?
"I..." Jianyu said, then stopped. He was not quite sure how to answer Huang.
"...no, I have not." he answered finally, his voice quiet as his hand slid from Huang's forehead, down the side of his face to rest on his upper arm. "At least, not that I recall. I am...I am not one to fall easily in and out of such emotions."

Huang snorted at Jianyu, "Of course i am myself, you are not Huang-Fu are you??" Huang chuckled a bit, "Ahhh it is because this is a dream that i act so strangely, if this was real, i might've never had told you this!" Huang pursued his lips together, His eye's we're getting really really heavy with the need for sleep which was odd since he was already asleep and only aware of his dream.
Jianyu had gone quiet though and his hand had fallen away from Huang's head to his arm, keeping him upright. His answer was a bit shocking though, for a man like Jianyu, Huang would've assumed that he had at least one love, who could resist the dangerous but caring man?
"Ah then love is a emotion that is not easy." Huang eye's closed now as his body lowered on Jianyu's, his head rested on the man's shoulder. His body was demanding sleep again now, his mind begin to randomize, "You are very caring man Jianyu, the woman that owns your love when it comes to will be lucky." Huang frowned sadly as he fell back into sleep, "Too bad it wasn't me for you to fall into easily like i have for you." Huang mumbled before his breath evened out into the sleep rhythm and he laid on Jianyu, deep back into sleep.

"Love is never an easy emotion." Jianyu said quietly, breathing in deeply. Huang had lowered his body, and was now lying fully on top of him, making it slightly more difficult to breathe. The boy's head was on his shoulder, his dark hair brushing against Jianyu's face as his words slowly became softer until finally his breathing grew deep and even and he was back asleep. Jianyu reached up, the backs of his fingers touching Huang's face.
Still hot... Jianyu sighed. He was still feverish. Carefully, slowly, Jianyu sat up, one arm around Huang's waist, and with a smooth movement turned them over so that Huang was lying on his back on the futon and Jianyu, crouching over him, gently brushed aside his damp hair. Then he moved to the side, laying beside Huang, and closed his eyes, breathing deeply. Within moments he was asleep, Huang's last words still echoing in his mind.
