Wavepelt smiled "well it doesn't matter, I'll protect you. I'll fight them, as if my life depended on it to save you from them". He looked into her eyes "because I'll protect the one who I care about most any way I can".

[Her mind was about to explode! she didn't know how to react. she had never talked to other cats before let alone had them care about her! She was so happy! she felt more welcome than she ever did before.] "......" [she tried to talk but couldn't say anything she just smiled and shyly looked down and played with her long tail.]
(( yep, she is native to Africa, where they have poaching problems, they dont get much bigger than a domestic cat. and also... AWWWWW!))

Wavepelt smiled and felt his pelt get hot, and he looked at his paws. D-did I really just say that, and out loud?! I can't believe it, I told her, why did I tell her, I didn't want to tell her yet! He looked up at her "u-um, s-should we g-go back to the camp now?"

Wavepelt grabbed the restof the mice and padded up to meet Serpent. He smiled and slowly got closer to her with every pawstep until they were right next to eachother, their fur brushing.

Waveplt could see that she was happy and looekd away. He looked around the forest and looked back at where his old home is. Then he looked at Serpent "S-Serpent, do you think of me in the same way?"

Wavepelt started slowing down and he looked at her. He smiled and felt his pelt getalmsot too hot to bear it "well, I've really liked from that moment too. And, well, you're beautiful too" his legs started to lock up and he could barely walk.

Never before had she experienced something like this. for that moment, she lost all of her shyness, turned, and gave him a real smile. not one of those sneers, or fake sweet smiles she would give everyone else, a real genuine smile.]
