Katana smirked,placing the tip of the dagger on the hat. Flicking it up, she revealed herself then let him go. "I really look like my brother? yay!" She laughed, then smiled sadly. "I'm sorry, it's..." she trailed off, not wanting to confess her thought. *~* Laurent held her close, willing her to calm down. He swore he'd never let anyone hurt her again as he lay with her, evetually falling asleep.

Dami looked at her questioningly and sighed "Oh good.. Now speak please? whats upsetting you?" Dami blinked sleepily and yawned. Dami resisted against the chains

Ahiru fell asleep with her head on his chest. Peaceful, and quite at ease, for some reason Laurent could calm her down very quickly and make her feel happy. She drifted off to dreams of Tobais screaming, and her mom slapping her telling her, it was all her fault. She twitched an unnoticeable about in her dreams,but stayed somewhat stationary.

Katana helped Dami out. "This may sound twisted, but... I found I endured so much that at some point, I stopped hating it... and I actually find some delight in it. A twisted, perverse delight in binding people up, making them follow my will." She blushed lightly, then put her things away. "I forget very few share my sentiment, and now that you know, get some sleep" She stood outside on the balcony- still in her brother's attire- and watched the moon go by. *~* Laurent awoke at her twitching, looking down at her. //She must be having a nightmare of some kind... I'll just hold her close until it passes...// Laurent held her snugly, but not overly so. He never wanted her to leave him, but he was so in love with her that if she did he'd let her. He sighed happily, and finally went back to sleep much later.

Dami dreamed the strangest one he had ever endured. He was standing on a balcony and his wings were out stretched... Wings? The other person opposite to him had a gun and fired. Dami fell to into the water, gasping from the pain, but feeling release. He looked peaceful, but in his dreams he was struggling to breath and escape from his bondage.~~ Ahiru woke up breathing heavily and loosened herself from his grip and went to her dresser. She was about to leave when she went back and caressed his head. She grabbed a pair of pants, her old pirate coat, and a fluffy shirt. Ahiru walked to her balcony, jumped off it and skipped to the garden. She grabbed the tree and sang a song everyone knew at home Hoist the colours

Katana came in, deciding to see how his dream was. She bit him lightly and watched his dream, by extension going into it. She watched as her brother shot him, and how he fell in the lake. She went after him, bringing him from the water. She released him, healed him, and vanished from the dream. The motion of being pulled into her own body was so sudden she fell off the bed. Tumbling onto the floor, she shot back up trembling. *~* Laurent woke back up as she released him, and grabbed his trenchcoat, following her outside. He kept his distance, deeply curious as to what happened in her dream, and moreover, how he could make it right. The problem was, he couldn't make i right since he knew nothing about what happened. //Times like this make we wish I was part vampire and can get into dreams like my stepbrother or sister// he thought

Dami was frightened by Katana, since she had no way of looking like her, he had assumed it was Alucard and was firmly in this mindset. He blushed softly and held his head, waking up to see Katana. He smiled and waved, but then resumed thinking Why was he in my dream? Must be the ru-... Must be her clothing... I hope.. Dami shuddered slightly at the thought that he was consciously dream of Alucard, then slipped into the bathroom where he began fixing his hair.

Ahiru sense he was there and smiled to her self. She turned on one heel and sat down in the tree, and held out her hand where a sakura blossom fell on it. She smiled softly and let it go. "What is it that is troubling you... I don't like seeing you.. or sensing, your discomforted." Ahiru spoke quietly and disconnected, as if she had just woken up from a very long dream

Katana was trembling when he walked in the bathroom. //He may turn on Dami, but when... and why...// She stood up and the it hit her. //I get it! He's inwardly jealous that I'm so happy with Dami, and if I don't find him someone soon... he'll kill my Dami...// She couldn't let that happen to him, and she ditched his clothes, changing into her black coat and leaped over the balcony. *~* Laurent sighed, coming up to join her. "I can't stand our discomfort, so why don't you tell me what you were dreaming about, love" He held her close, whispering in her ear. "I can handle anything, I am the daemon overlord after all" He smiled lightly- and knew once and for all he would die for this girl, and he loved it.

Dami stepped into the shower, not removing his clothes and just staying there, enjoying the cold water rushing against his throat.

Ahiru looked up "I was Dreaming of my mother abusing me, abusing Tobias, trying to kill me.. I dreamed of my father ripping out my wings.. Also I remembered the piercing cries of my dying sister.." She said all this calmly holding her had in her lap and sniffling slightly from the cold. "they are just memories though.. I'll live.." Ahiru kissed him on the cheek and hung her head.

Katana stood on the rail, dangerous in the high wind. If she fell, she'd have a long fall followed by a painful landing on the rocks at the base. Nevertheless she did so, coat and dress flapping in the wind. Lost in thought she drew out her swords, not entirely sure what to do at that moment. She put them away, and a gust caught her, making her fall off. Acting fast, she managed to catch the rail, but knw she couldn't hold for long. *~* Laurent held her even closer, and tighter. "If I ever find our mother, I'll make sure she suffers for everything she's done... same for your father... as for our siblings, I'm not sure what I can do..." Laurent's fury threatened him, making him almost turn into his daemon form. He tipped her head up, kissing her gently. "I'm here for you now, and I'd die for you in a heartbeat... I'd even do away with myself to make you happy"

Dami heard a noise and stepped out over to the bathroom door and heard a noise. He looked out side to see Katana, hanging from the edge. He yanked her up and pulled her close still dripping wet an now freezing "P-Please.. Don't do that.. I don't need a suicidal lover.."

"You needn't do that.. One morning I woke up, realized they were not my birth parents, so I killed them all in a fit of fury... Although my siblings are now slaves as well. At least they are safer than before.." Ahiru held onto his face and kissed him deeply, trying to make him understand that she'd never put him in the position to die

Katana leaped over. "I'm not suicidal" She added softly "But if you insist" She then saw they were wet, so she drug him in. "Luckily vampyres don't get sick" she muttered, looking for something dry. She made Dami take a hot shower- while he could feel. Redressing, she thought //That was an accident... but why did I do that? Maybe Im suicidal... or am I trying to prove my immortality// She watched sunrise from her bed, lost in thought. *~* Laurent kissed her back, closing his eyes. On the outside he was calm, but the inside was contemplative. //What if I got her siblings and released them from wherever? I could set them up with anything they need or want...//He pulled back, and realised she had gotten her point across. //You may never put me into one, doesn't mean I won't end up there sometime// he thought, making her sit on his lap. She was tiny compared to him... but hey, he loved that too.

Dami was completely upset when he was in the shower, for he was bad at understanding his feelings. He was pretty sure he either loved Alucard or hated him.. He had finally realized it was hate, and that he loved Katana, most positively. Dami walked out of the shower still in his clothes and grabbed an old robe. He shuffled back into the bathroom and put it on peeling off the wet ones. Dami pulled out a notebook and started writing a page on what his thoughts were doing, right now he wrote a whole page trying to recall why Ahiru seemed familiar, why Katana was trying to kill herself, and why Alucard hated him

Ahiru read his thoughts and pulled away "Laurent, they have wonderful masters that care for them...Tobais is in love with Darius and, Tara is best friends with Slade... I'm happy now.." she looked up at him and smiled "Well being in love with me means having danger follow, and heartbreak sooner after that... I hate doing it but for some reason every time I loved someone, they were taken, by the sea.. Drowning, or chocking, or dissipated.." she sighed but then looked up at the sakura tree, wondering why it was pink

Katana thought //I'm NOT suicidal! And I don't want you to hate my brother!// She firmly decided once and for all that was definitely not the case. She sighed lightly, and drew an image of how she felt- Dami, Alucard, Laurent, Ahiru all happy in the image. She put herself in the background, smiling sadly. Katana was sad that she couldn't make herself happily fit in. *~* Laurent sighed. "As long as you get to visit, I'm happy with it." He looked up at the silver blossoms, then smiled. "Ahiru, my love, my best friend controls water... all water, all types, all worlds... I cannot be taken by it same goes for ice and fire." He swiched gears. "The blossoms are silvery-pink since my sister is an incredible scientist."

Dami sat down on the bed shivering and smiling at Katana lovingly. "Katana, you are troubled.. And tell me.. Why?" Dami looked up from his notebook again and yawned.

Ahiru smiled "That's probably for the best..." She hugged him, she was very happy that she wouldn't have to worry about the ocean claiming his soul as their own. Ahiru looked up blushing "She's amazing.. She can do that.. And she is incredibly nice.."

Dami stood up and embraced her in a hug and whispered softly "Listen, don't think.. Tomorrow is not real for all we know, but today.. today is real... don't bother yourself with premonitions.. Be happy we are here now.."

Katana sighed. "I realised death is inevitable; transition from one form to another is natural. I've had this form for seven thousand years and maybe it's time I got a new one, as is nature. You're right, the future is an illusion, the past a foundation. For today, I'm happy with you and my hope is everyone gets along." *~* Laurent hugged her back, feeling her immense sense of relief. He looked back down at her nodding. "Remember, she's had seven thousand years, like me, to learn a lot. She had to learn many things, sometimes quite forcibly." He sighed, remebering his one regret: That he didn't save his sister from her nightmares.
