That touch and the feeling she got that told her she could take a breather; and at close proximity she could see that he'd disregarded his walking stick. With a loud sigh she slumped down the tree to sit with little grace to rest, however she managed to catch a look at his ankle which well....looked perfectly fine.
"H-hey....how did that...." Her head tilted to the side, yet she twitched as she felt she'd lose her balance if she did that again. Was he magic? Surely the swelling couldn't possibly go down that fast otherwise, and he seemed to be standing without much difficulty at all!
Another wave turned in her body as she squirmed slightly, curling her tail instinctively around her hips and lap.

He walked over nearby and feeling that there was nothing he could do for her at the moment, he put his crossed his legs and took his right foot over his left leg, and was finally back to a full lotus position. Again he straightened his back and closed his eyes, drifting peacefully into meditation. Although it benefited him, it would also let him focus more on her ailment. With acute hearing enhanced by the silver devices on the side of his head, he could hear things most could. Now that his mind was clear, he could hear his heart beat and his blood flowing. He tried to see if he could focus his hearing on her

Rest felt good, the shade giving a little relief but she still felt as if she was overheating just sitting there. Leaning her head back to rest against the tree trunk, closing her eyes as she listened to her own labored breathing.
Her mind slowly rolled back to simpler times, to heading to school day in and day out and the familiar faces she called friends. To home cooked meals and long drives to no where. The gentle twitching of her tail reminded her that they were also times lost; yet not forgotten in this new body. She still had a month before she was scheduled to go back, that bus in the little human town in the far reaches of the valley. She was in no condition to go there, she was sure that no one in that town even knew of the noodle shop.
It looked as if she'd have to cancel that ticket at this rate.

The ninja sat frozen in his stance for who knows how long. He had long since given up on trying to find an ailment to his companion and was actually listening for any tell tale sign of food passing by. He had all but lost his patience on waiting for food, but he would hold it a bit longer for a small morsel.

It was soft and almost undetectable, but his trained ears knew when a rabbit jumped over a rock or log. With sudden movements he grabbed his knife in his right pocket, and with pinpoint accuracy, tossed it into the thicket that was off to his right. He heard the blade strike the ground and a soft squeal came with it. Dinner time he thought as he lept up to retrieve his catch. He wasted no time in turning the rabbit into a fillet waiting to be cooked, so he gathered some firewood and tinder and made his way back over to the clearing they were in. He tried to make a small fire away from her seeing as the heat was bothering the vixen already and easily got the thing burning. He took the fillet's, he purposely had 2 just in case she was hungry as well, and skewed them with a stick. He then stabbed the stick into the ground near the fire and let them cook. He could already feel his mouth watering, even though the each piece of meat was barely bigger than his hand

[commence sucky rp due to keyboard woes!]
Dizzily trying to keep herself upright for more than several long moments, the vixen decided to give up and lied herself on the ground for the time being. Not even noticing Snake had left let alone was cooking until the smell of smoke wafted by her nostrils; she let out a groan and felt the urge to upheave once more.
The demonic poisions sure were doing their job, she was sure she'd never felt so ill in her lifetime; not even food poisioning was this bad!

Snake Eyes looked over. He stared for a few moments before looking back at the cooking meat. If he could, he'd find water, but he was very unfamiliar with this territory and wouldn't know where to start

As her sight finally gave way to the heat and the poision's effects, the vixen found herself lulling to sleep; panting instinctively as her body began to do what it needed to help return her system to normal. It wasn't long before the vixen passed out, to sleep the day away.

[That night]
Slowly stirring as her eyes fluttered open, Kay groaned as she felt a bit light headed; but otherwise much better than that morning. Lifting her head she spat out a foul taste that had pooled in her mouth; looking down to see it was as dark as night....and reminded her of Hoshi.
"Ugh...sick." She cringed, looking around as she tried to collect herself. She was on the side of the trail....that was a good start.

While the traveling vixen had passed out, Snake had managed to use the opportunity to keep is record of being unseen and scarfing down one of the fillets, but over all, being very unsatisfied. He would have eaten the second, but he left it just in case she woke up hungry.
He saw her stir a bit. He remained motionless until addressed as to try and overcome his sustaining hunger he had gone into meditation, with little to know luck on actually having his stomachs growls subside

Slowly standing to her paws, the vixen wobbled slightly from sleeping so long in an awkward position but otherwise had regained balance. Looking around as she didn't see Snake, she wondered how long he had stayed after she passed out. Not that she blamed his leaving, who wanted to hang around with a unconsious fox?
"Mmmm....I guess it would be a good idea to get to some light....I should be thankful Hoshi doesn't seem to be around." Turning slightly to knock on the trunk of the tree to not jinx herself, she looked up the path to her house and down the other to the shop; wondering which one would be closer. It was then she noticed something in the dark, the moon didn't give much light as she tilted her head; wondering if it was just her imagination. "Snake?"

He peeks an eye open and realizes that his fire has gone out. He frowns and starts it back up again and gives a thumbs up to the femme. He secretly applauded himself for still having his stealth...even though he was wearing all black and it was night.
His moment of victory dimmed in his mind after thinking of those aspects, but he tried not to let the glow of the fire catch his disappointment

Smiling at the fire, the vixen quickly walked over and sat by its warm glow. Curling her tail around her hips she let out a relieved sigh. "You stayed here this whole time huh? Thanks....even though it probably wasn't the most fun you've ever had I imagine." A gentle chuckle rose from her lips as she rested her fore arms on her legs to watch the flames dance.
Looking up, she noticed his head was positioned oddly....with his good posture unless in ninja mode....it striked her as out of the norm. "You alright...?"

He looked over, then realized he had slouched a bit. Something he was never accustomed to doing, unless of course he were in pain, or just tired. Nevertheless, he straightened his back, despite how his stomach pleaded otherwise, and gestured to the remaining rabbit, which had been moved a bit so it could stay warm, but wouldn't be cooked

Following his jesture, the vixen felt her stomach growl in distaste, warning her of the concequences of eating at the moment. Shaking her head she chuckled, and tucked her legs to her chest to get comfortable. "For me? I'm alright....still recovering. You go ahead, Snake."

Oh how he wanted to to swallow that rabbit as if her were a snake. His only problem was, the mask he wore took a great deal of difficulty to get on and off. He was never sure why he wore it since it felt like a rubberband around his face, but he couldn't argue it kept his face very well hidden.
He stared at the fillet for a long time before trying to offer it again. Normally he would eat it despite another person's presence, but he could just tell that she was hungry too, and being a gentlemen, he didn't want to be rude

Folding her ears back against her hair, the vixen wondered if maybe he'd been sitting way too long since he wasn't getting the picture. "I insist...." She responded, knowing that look he'd given the fish since it was similar to the look she had for chocolate.
"Seriously, i'll just toss it up unpleasantly....so don't make me force feed you." Oh, and she'd to it too. Or at least try peristantly....she wasn't sure she'd get very far against a ninja. Looking skywards, she smiled and looked at the stars; it had been a long time since she could sit back like this and relax outdoors.
