"She left the lab due to her orders to retrieve me," Angela said, chuckling. "I left because I'm an insubordinate upstart. And...a plain omelet is fine unless you have a suggestion?"

**

Christine smirked and leaned back against the wall of the crater. "So...all you do is sit around in the dark, bored and alone." She straightened and started deeper into the darkness. "Sounds very boring and makes me very curious as to what you actually look like."

Zen cracked some eggs and moved stuff around and the frying pan. "Rebellion is nice, especially against psychopaths."

--

"Everybody wants to know. Gets boring fast.... again." Aetra moved around some more, he was suddenly tired of being bored.

"Of course they do," Christine said. "You hide yourself in this crater like this--people are going to want to know why." She looked around, still not able to see anything. "But I can promise I'm far more interesting than anyone who's been here before. Plus I'm gorgeous and far less of a prude than my little sister."

She rolled her eyes. "And not such a....ugh...'goody goody."

"Hey...Aetra. What would it take to get you out of here?"

**

"Speaking from experience are you?" Angela asked, leaning on the counter. "Can I help with anything by the way?"

She smiled slightly. Watching him cook omelets was so amusing. He looked so very out of place in the kitchen.

"Goody goodys are all fools." Aetra agreed laughing, then was taken back by her question. "A reason to care about anything at all." He concluded outloud.

---

Zen began sprinkling cheese he got from costco on the omlet and let it cook.

"You could pick something to drink I suppose. I have loads of things to choose from. All kinds of juices, smoothie things, blends, teas, dr pepper..." Zen whizzled around, "oooh yes, I had my own rebel army when I was nineteen years old."

"Really?" Angela asked. "I feel like I'm a bit behind then. I'm nineteen and have no army to speak of. Perhaps I should commandeer my father's army and go rebel against something. Who knows what though?"

**

"Don't you care about being bored?" Christine asked. "I could....alleviate your boredom if you wanted."
PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 3:35 pm

"Tyrants are a nice place to start. Hard to miss them... That's how I became Emperor really, rebelling." Zen closed up the omlet.

---

"Boredom comes from lack of caring, and the lack of caring comes from boredom. Breaking the cycle I've had for forty billion years... that'd be something," Aetra mumbled.

"So even forty billion year old tentacle monsters...or whatever it is you are...fear change," Christine said. "Well I suppose it's understandable to be reluctant to leave such a long standing comfort zone."

"In any case most men find me intimidating. I suppose that makes it worse."

**

"Oh really?" Angela said. "Now this is a story I haven't heard before. I didn't realize that you were an upstart as well." She moved over to stand next to him. "By the way, I suppose I ought to apologize for getting you involved in an airship battle with pirates and..my sister and all that."

Did he fear change? No Aetra feared nothing at all... right?
For the first time in who knows how long, he wondered if he felt something.
"You're too cute to be intimidating. I find your sister disturbing really." He shuffled anxiously, wondering what the feeling was.

--

"I kind of was asking for it, don't worry. Revolutions and rebellions are kind of my thing, for some reason I end up in them all the time." Zen remembered the button pushing thing, that was pretty much his fault and he laughed while serving the omlet and starting his own.

"She is somewhat disturbing," Christine agreed. "Mostly she's just annoying. And weak."

"As for being cute...I almost resent being called that but I'll let you get away with it." She smiled. "I can't believe you asked me to come and visit you just so you could hide in the shadows the whole time."

**

"Perhaps you're just a trouble maker," Angela said, accepting the omelet. She tilted her head to the side. "What's so funny?"

"That the whole ship crashing thing was a pretty short adventure.
I hope your crew mates are having fun, I bet they're telling stories already." Zen began tossing stuff onto his, adding various spices of strange colors and vegetables.

---

"I don't hide. All that I am now is energy and consciousness the size of a dead universe. Should I show you myself this way you would shrivel and die in my power... but if I could... what would you have of me?" Aetra laughed, nervously.

"No doubt," Angela said. "Not to mention how they're probably furious about how their ship vanished."

"Though I can't say I mind that you brought it here. If you hadn't, it really would have crashed and we'd have lost her permanently. At least now she can be repaired." She gave him a pained look. "I really wish you hadn't brought my sister too though."

**

"Well, the energy of a dead universe does sound like it would shrivel up a partial demi-power," Christine agreed. "But if you showed yourself to me...." She shrugged and grinned. "I'm sure we could find something fun to do. Hell, taking over this universe might be fun."
PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 8:56 pm

"She can't do much of anything foul here at least. There are airships here too. I haven't the slightest clue how to fly them or repair them... If we needed another." Zen finished up his omelet and sat down to eat it.

--

"Sounds fun." Aetra laughed. A long silence followed, the moving stopped and the thundering sky in Kall stopped. "Anything you want... name it and it's yours." Came his voice, but different from the disembodied wandering echo it had been before. Almost... normal.

"I'm a fair pilot and mechanic," Angela said, taking her omelet to sit near Zen. "Though I can't imagine why we would need one. Considering you can move entire ships from my corner of the multi verse to yours, I suspect such a means of transportation wouldn't be necessary."

"Now...for fun, maybe."

**

"Really?" Christine asked with a smirk. She wondered what exactly had just happened. "Well...I suppose I could ask for a lot of things but...right now, this moment. I want you. I want to see you."

"Still willing to give it to me?"
PostPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:57 pm

"you did say there was a tyrant..." Zen smirked, munching on his cooking, kind of forgot about Christine for a minute. "I guess I should make one for her too?"

---

A hand reached out of the shadow and grabbed Christine's. Two glowy pupils swirled in the dark of a white void. Attached to them seemed to be a pretty white face of a young man with light yellow hair.
"We cannot stay here for long. Zensekai could interfere. Where shall we go?"

Christine grinned when the figure stepped out of the shadows. Ah. Now things were getting interesting. "So you weren't a tentacle monster after all," she said, her voice teasing. "As for where we should go....hmmmmm.....Hey. Have you ever heard of the Abyss?"

"Hawaii is nice too though."

**

"Multiple tyrants," Angela said. Her face fell slightly at the mention of her sister. "Oh...um. I suppose I should go ask her then? Or perhaps you should. If I go in there, we'll likely to start brawling."
