"Okay, I have no ideas what you crazy ladies are talking about and it's starting to freak me out. I can't feel my body and this is becoming irratating. You chicks talk as if I'm the root of all evil and ya don't even know me!" Kyoujin spat at them angrily, trying to melt the ice, but he couldn't at the time- he really couldn't feel anything.

Yana pulled a few coins out. "Here." she threw them at his feet. "If these coins are to lead you away from what I fear you may follow, then I give them gladly."
She walked off, pulling Sachi with her. The wheels of fate were in motion. She merely hoped that once they reached their end that they would not crack.

Sachi ran back, and left more money at his foot, earth kingdom and water tribe. Not much, just about two coins each. Then she freed him, bending the water back into the puddle. She also put some in her pouch, and ran back to Yana.

"A most dire thing to have happened." Yana murmured, walking away with a headache coming on. "Each knows their path now." She looked sulky and apologetic to Sachi. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this. It's why I left home without so much as a note...I never meant for anyone to carry my burden."

"That..." he began, gasping as his body hit the ground. "Was weird." Then the gleam of the money hit his eye.
"Ooo! Money!" He chuckled, grabbing at the little they threw at him. "Wait..."
"Nice, you let them run away...AGAIN."
"It's not my fault they keep doing that..." He sighed in response to himself.

Sachi smiled. "I was bored... and after hearing all of the stories of adventures from my parents I wanted in on the action." She said, walking next to Yana.

Kyoujin helped himself to his feet, and growled.
"Ugh...you really are going to make me chase after you, huh?"
He gathered the coins into a pocket and without thinking anything about his group, trailed after the two girls...again. When he got about a meter away, he waved his arms to them.
"C'mon! Why do y'all keep leaving? You say I'm evil then walk away before I get to defend myself! Who does that?" He rambled. "Hey! I'm talking to you! Don't ignore me! It's 'cause I'ma Firebender, ain't it?"

"Would it help any if I said I was looking for the Avatar for the right reasons? If I said I was looking for him or her to help them? If I could look you in your eyes and say that sincerely, would you lemme travel with you?" He said this as innocently as he could to Sachi, even though it was more directed towards the seer.

This time...it was Yana's turn to get in his face.
"Can you really say that to me?" Yana said with utter seriousness, "Can you pursue this path with an honest ambition to give back what belongs to the entire world? To protect what needs protection, to put things back on the right way?"
She narrowed her gaze. "Or am I right that you desire something more sinister?"

The best he could, he stared at her, equally serious. "I want to find the Avatar for the same reasons as you, to help find the one that can restore the world the way only an Avatar can, this is I promise."
Kyoujin was a good liar, being in the business of a merchant. He hoped that she would buy it and let him travel along...and eventually, he just might change his goals using the Avatar, but for right now it was a straight up lie.

Yana's eyes hardened. His voice was smooth, his stare steady, but there was still that dark hole, the pitch abyss, that convinced her otherwise.
"You're lying." Yana shook her head, "Teetering on the razor's edge of spirits and mortals. But for now, it will work."
She turned away. "Don't underestimate us. Sachi's waterbending is superb, but there is no greater chill or agony than the broken soul. Betray us...and I shall introduce you to the Face-Stealer Koh."

"Must you speak like that...? So...proper..." Kyoujin muttered with a little snarl. He put his finger to his chin and thought. "A face-stealer? He steals faces...?"

"You'll find out soon enough I daresay," Yana shrugged as the rag-tag group trudged on. "It's only a matter of time. Koh has existed as long as there has been a realm to inhabit...he won't turn down a fresh opportunity to gain a fresh face."
