[Mōra Kuro Kijutsu 1/6]

[Dominating the top of the rock, bitches. ninja ]

"You of all people should know better... Hideki." Hei stood still atop the structure, staring unblinkingly into the horizon as the Lieutenants launched their respective attacks. Each of them, all three Lieutenants used some form of Reiryoku to attack Hei. Spears, orbs, raw Reiryoku; all of it was just so useless. Granted, none of them could have known what was to come next, but he figured at the very least, Hideki should have seen this coming if no one else was going to. Truth be told, after his display of power just now, he was slightly surprised neither of them were aware he had the power to essentially erase matter. However, he didn't let this slip out. As the attacks came toward him, his scarf moved seemingly of it's own accord, growing exponentially larger and encompassing a large area around the man, shielding him from the others.

The attacks that were aimed at him were consumed by the atoms that made up the scarf and if one could see from below, it would look as though the attacks had just vanished. Cracking his neck, Hei took a step forward until he was walking off of the structure itself. As he walked, the scarf began to shrink, returning to it's original size as it had been before. Once he was directly above the Shinigami below him, he dropped to the ground, landing in between the three and making a small crater where he landed. Still perfectly up right, Hei stared in the direction he had been staring the entire time. "Is that all you have to offer your opponent? Long distance Reiryoku based attacks? It's with that mindset that proves that all of you... The difference between us is like Heaven and Hell."

Breathing a small sigh, Hei shut his eyes and muttered the last thing these Shinigami probably wanted to hear. An single word that granted him 10 times more power than before, not because he needed it to win; oh no, that was not the case, but because he had a purpose for it. "Bankai." His spoken word was not loudly spoken, nor was it spoken in a manner that was particularly memorable, he almost sounded bored. still having yet to move, black Reiryoku arced across his body, then shot skyward, creating a dark pillar that was a stark contrast to the midday sky. Outwardly, nothing changed, aside from the fact that his Shihakusho and Haori were produced out of thin air, appearing on his body as if they had just become visible for the first time. Apparently this Bankai gave him new clothes; Hei was a bit taken a back at this, but again showed nothing to imply this.

Behind him, the structure seemed to have taken some damage, but not too much. Taking in a deep breath, Hei began to passively steal the shadows from those around him, even the shadows of the large structure behind him. The shadows took on a wind-like quality and began flowing towards Hei's body, allowing the Kuromijin attach to it, then attaching themselves to Hei's body. Eventually he was no more than a mass of darkness in a humanoid shape white ovals for eyes being the only non-black part on his body. Seconds after, Hei's body released a dark shockwave in all directions at once, driving all matter near his body in the opposite direction. Accompanied by this driving force was a field of ability negation, which would act as a suppressant to any Shinigami or Arrancar abilities, until it passes by them. Essentially, when it touched others, their Shikai or Bankai would be sealed and other abilites like Air Walking or active Kido would be negated for a few seconds. It disappeared nearly as quickly as it came, and when it was gone, Hei had already entered his second Bankai form; Mōra Kuro Kijutsu. His hair was now pure white and white runes already beginning to draw themselves on his body and his clothes, shining brilliantly in contrast to his blackened skin. His scarf was gone now, as the Kuromijin had layered themselves onto his skin, thus creating the black color.

Lee looked on somewhat bored as his attack ripped through a couple of hidden barriers exposing them and showing the others where they were.
'I thought so. Not bad though. The use of such low level spells in quick succession is not entirely impressive however.' Hearing Atley Lee looked over at him and shrugged to his words. "Whatever. Do what you want." Lee took the moment of rest to try and get used to the reiatsu more so that when it entered back into close combat he wasn't at a disadvantage. The pressure took on a choking nature as Lee stared at the ground and focused on being able to function normally though sweat appeared on his forehead again after a few moments. When Lee looked back up Hei seemed to have taken on the appearance of his usual self though a much older version something that didn't surprise Lee in the least.

'About time. Now the real fight will begin.' That was when Lee noticed the other Katana in Hei's hand leaving him to let out a small sigh. 'It was only a matter of time I suppose.' Simply air walking to avoid the Kuromijin Lee left them to whittle down the rock to suit Hei's idea of a good battlefield. When they were finished Lee looked down at the barren crater below and with another sigh dropped the whole way stopping at the last second and landing with minimal sound on the ground. Giving Hei a very slight grin Lee looked at the older man as he spoke a more fitting battlefield. "Indeed. Still that was a little over kill Hakase-taicho. Not that I am surprised." The words were strained at first but by the end they were spoke freely as he continued to wait so that his body was not hindered.

Then suddenly more pressure hit him giving the feeling of being stabbed something that caused Lee to grimace.
'Damn pressure. Why can't they just be normal with pressure that doesn't feel like it is trying to kill you?' Gripping his Bankai blade tighter and and gritted his teeth slightly as he fought against the invisible pressure. Letting the Lieutenants take point this time Lee waited patiently taking a mental note of each of there forms and abilities for the moment. When Hei retaliated by going into Bankai Lee sighed and closed his eyes waiting for an opportunity to join in the battle. As the negating wave hit him Lee nearly stumbled back but caught himself at the last second with a glare noticing his Bankai was sealed. A woman appeared beside him only seen by him as she put a hand on his shoulder.

"We are getting nowhere fast Lee-kun. We aren't here to try and beat him just to train in the use of the techniques I showed you. You are nowhere near skilled enough to actually use them to their potential yet." Letting out another sigh Lee began to walk forward slowly. "I know I know. Here goes nothing." Charging forward as the woman disappeared Lee's features became blurred as he moved quickly closing the gap between Hei and him. Holding his blade out to his side as he moved he waited until almost arriving beside Hei before speaking again. "Bankai!" Going into Bankai a millisecond before arriving in by Hei his blade acquired a layer of ice around it. Going past Hei a quick slash was aimed for his ribcage as Lee moved past, then Lee added a twist to his step to get to the other Captain's back and stabbed forward three times in quick succession the attacks blurring as they moved to their intended targets.

The first stab was aimed at Hei's right shoulder to take it out of commission or at least to weaken the attacks coming from it. The second stab was aimed at Hei's right Achilles tendon to slow him down. The third and final stab was aimed towards Hei's left lung to make breathing come more difficult and further weaken him. The series of attacks was executed in a matter of seconds though Lee knew Hei would be able to keep up with the speed. Still Lee hoped that Hei would think he had tried to perform Senka and therefore be caught slightly off guard by the different targets he went for.
"Your reiatsu is a pain in the a** to deal with I just want you to know that." Holding his blade up defensively Lee awaited the obvious retaliation from Hei. 'That was probably a bad move but no sense crying over spilled milk. I am slightly excited waiting to see his reaction this battle is becoming quite a rush of sorts.'

Hideki laughed aloud with a hardy nature that was far from his usual behavior. He loved that he could just throw out attacks like that for the fun of it, as it would have no effect on Hei. He just wanted Hei to come closer, which happened, but not only that, he was buying time so that he could use his new bankai. It didn't have a limited range, but it did use physical attacks more than reiryoku attacks, at least the version he was to use was. He laughed for a good few seconds before letting out an exaggerated sigh and composing himself. Hideki wondered what Hei would do now that he was moving down to he and the others.

As Hei landed, Hideki tightened the grip on his tsuka and focused his eyes. He heard Lee release and felt his reiatsu release outwards, then saw him lurch forward towards Hei. Not the best of idea's, good taichou. Hideki saw him slash about and jab forwards, only to see Hei start to absorb shadows. Hideki's eyes quirked upwards. He was using that. Even better for Hideki. He sunk into his heels and held his blades out to his right and left, the metal of his armor letting out small clicks and they rubbed against each other and slicked along as his joints moved. The mass of black that was before him gave a feeling of despair, but when it pulse outwards, Hideki was pulled aback. He didn't expect that, for the most part, but it came nonetheless. To Hell with it, it will only be for a short while. Hideki thought this to himself as he suddenly forwards into action. The black wall slammed into him and passed him, cancelling his bankai, and as he passed through the 'veil of Kuromijin' his armor seemed to melt away and become his snow white Hakama and Shihakushou; his blade becoming one once again.

He moved in front of Hei and dipped down, holing Datenshi in an odd drawing position, and pushed forward, aiming for a blow to the stomach, but as it was about to touch, he would disapate, appearing above him, aiming for a downwards stab. As if this would be his last move, it was all a facade. The above figure was a clone, and the real Hideki moved back to his original position in front of Hei once the one above would be upon Hei. He aimed for a deep slash, but assumed it wouldn't do much of anything with Hei's skin, which was understandable. He was just buying the time for his Bankai to be activated. Then, things would become quite entertaining.

Elisia had silently cursed under her breath as she noticed that his so-called ‘scarf’ had protected him from their attacks. This was really getting a little tiresome. However, her annoyed face changed into one of mostly anticipation and a little fear as she heard Captain Hakase call out Bankai. To tell the truth, she wouldn’t have expected it of him yet since he would most likely have been able to spar with them for a short while before needing it. However, he had released it, for some strange reason, which was, at the moment, unknown to her. Squinting her eyes, she could barely make out Captain Hakase himself anymore, only able to see a mass of darkness in the meantime. This wasn’t shaping up to be too good for them. She didn’t know exactly what his Bankai was, but judging by what she had seen of his Shikai, it was most likely going to be ridiculously powerful.

A dark shockwave caught her by surprise, throwing her off-balance and she bore the brunt of it, since she was rather close to Captain Hakase at this particular moment in time. She was literally tossed backwards, towards the walls of this crater-like thing. Damn it. For some reason, she could not activate her Bankai or her Air walking or anything that would stop her from crashing into that wall. Suddenly, as she made a last desperate bid a couple of seconds after this dark shockwave had thrown her back, her Bankai worked and she slowed herself down by creating a ‘cushion’ of energy around her back. The impact was still there, but lessened. Slowly climbing to her feet, she winced, feeling the pain that was racking her entire body. Carefully checking herself for any injuries, she picked up a couple of bruises and cuts that she had sustained from her last-minute manoeuvre. It wasn’t too annoying, but Hei’s Reiatsu was really having a large effect on her movement. The choking hadn’t faded much and there was a feeling of being stabbed mercilessly. The others were attacking, but she wouldn’t yet. It was better to just hang back and figure out exactly what these abilities were going to do if she attacked. There was no point in wasting any of her energy.

Asami sighed as the events unfolded around her. Everyone was attacking and there wasn't much coordination going on between them. At this rate people were going to be caught in one of the others attacks rather than be taken down by Hei. That had been part of the reason Asami had taken a seat outside of the battle, since there were far too many to make coordination possible without a plan and a plan was something they didn't have time for. However, without any help those three Vice-captain's weren't going to survive very long against Hei, even if he did hold back, which it didn't seem like he was doing.

Though it felt as if a hand was around her throat attempting to choke her she didn't let it show through on her face, instead wearing a bored expression as she pushed herself up from the ground, closing her eyes as she thought about if she wanted to go help the three Vice-captains, or if she wanted to let them get knocked out of the way now and make the battlefield a little less crowded. That was when Hei moved between the three and became what appeared to be a being of pure darkness. What was more was it deactivated all three of the Vice-captains bankai's. Rushing the black wave wouldn't be a wise move so Asami held her ground as the wave passed her and she lost the abilities of her bankai for a moment, the scales losing all their power as well as the stamina increase and speed increase disappearing.

She sighed once more, it appeared that it only took Elisia a few moments for her abilities to return, and sure enough Asami could feel the power increase from her Bankai once more after a few seconds. Now that her power had returned she was ready to move, but at the cost of potentially being a test dummy for Hei, but hey it wasn't her style to sit back and let others be hurt no matter what price she would pay.

Asami used the speed that her Bankai granted her to move to the left of Hei instantly. At that point Lee was finishing off his final strike to Hei's back and Hideki's clone was above Hei. This left Asami to jump in with Hideki's true strike. She threw a right jab towards Hei's jaw, her hand laced in a layer of her Reiryoku which reinforced her fist as well as made the punch all the harder. Using her new speed to her advantage she moved to his right side as soon as the punch was thrown, leaving an after image from the punch. As she appeared on his right side she was in mid-leg sweep, attempting to knock his legs out from under him. Yet again she disappeared from her position, this time she was above him in the middle of a front flip, which was aimed to throw the centrifugal force into a powerful kick which was aimed for Hei's right shoulder. If the leg sweep hit her above kick was timed to hit instantly after, almost making it as if the two strikes were at the same time.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

First Division's Lieutenant

User Image

The Azure blue eyed Shinigami gritted his teeth as his spears were turned into nothing or seemed to have never existed in the first place. "He can completely control Reiryoku." He said aloud mostly to himself. He felt like he was being treated like a fool; that didn't sit well with Tetsunosuke. The Lieutenant examined his surroundings in front of him then gazed upward. He saw Hei walk off his high tower and drop below between them. He didn't move an inch but beats of sweat had formed over his brows and cheeks. "Cheeky, b*****d... talkin' like he knows us..." Tetsunosuke spit to the ground and gripped his Scythe firmly.

The words of Bankai filled Tetsu's eyes as he didn't want to hear this. He actually even thought he was already in Bankai. He made the worse mistake and took his eyes off his opponent to watch his Reiatsu arch and fly into the sky; displaying itself like a strong tower. His wide eyes quickly shot back down as the clothes of the Shinigami had changed some. Not to much that was notable. As Tetsunosuke was looking, the dark shock wave over took him and sent him backward. His footing was loose as he felt himself lifted up off the ground some. But because his Zanpakuto was a pole, and he had both hands on it was the culprit of the lost footing.

Before he was sent off anymore, Tetsunosuke used Sakuzen Kosshi in it's Katana state and impaled it into the ground with his right arm. He was drug back some more but was able to get his feet on a firm stand. He withdrew his sword from the ground and it immediately started to turn dark, "Rise Up To Life, Sakuzen Kosshi..." His voice had a slight annoyed tone, possibly having to re-release his Zanpakuto. The putrid smell of his Zanpakuto leaked out over the rock structure. "Elisia-fukutaicho... Do you have a plan?" He asked the woman as he walked toward her with his Zanpakuto in his right hand, which was swung over his shoulder. He had manged to not get any injuries thus far, so her aid of healing hadn't been needed.

[Mōra Kuro Kijutsu 2/6]

"Oh but little boy, I do know you. After all, I know everything." Keeping his cool like always, Hei made the most minimal movements possible in order to lessen the effects of the strikes made upon him by the Shinigami that came at him. He didn't dodge them all, however. To think he was capable of such movements was preposterous, yet everyone seemed to think so. He still maintained a still, firm composure, just watching them move about to determine their next moves. He easily brushed aside Lee's katana, forcefully knocking it to the side with his finger just before it stabbed him; and the second it came in contact with his finger, the ice turned black and was gone. A slash wound opened across his chest where the kissaki had been dragged across it since Hei had batted it to the side.

By dipping his right shoulder he avoided Lee's stab to that area, though not entirely. Lee's katana grazed his skin, opening up two layers of the organ, falling short of making him bleed. Initially with the strike to this chest, Senka flashed through his mind; the lot of these captains seemed to use such parlor tricks whenever possible like they were to make a difference. However, Senka left his mind half a second later when his shoulder was slashed. He then knew it was something else as neither the Hakusui or the Saketsu lay in the first area struck. Knowing well enough the grace and skill used by Captain's of Lee's caliber, He merely had to take two rapid steps forward to evade Lee's strike to his Achilles tendon and the stab to his lung.

However, the kissaki did puncture a few layers of his skin, making him bleed a little bit, though this didn't actually show through his clothing. Hei looked back as far as he could without turning his head to the right, and merely smirked at Lee as he spoke. "That's the idea, anta." With this, Lee left his mind for the time being, though he would reenter it if he began moving again. "Above and your front, the girl to your side." A dark, evil voice hissed into the air as Shōhi spoke helpful words to his master. Of course, being the malevolent creature he was, he was quite vague, giving only directions and not the method of attack. Taking a stab in the dark, Hei didn't bother to try attacking the one above him, or even bother looking it's way. Just as Lee's ice had done, the second the clone touched his head it turned black and was gone from existence.

With the fact that he didn't need to concentrate on the one above, he had his full attention on Hideki, who was actually in front of him. This one attacked him head on, usually a bad idea with this Captain. Hei met Hideki's blade with the bottom of his foot, pressing the kissaki into the ground to essentially pole-vault the Lieutenant into the air given the direction his weight was being thrown. Since he had already been told that a girl was coming to his right, he deduced Asami as Elisia wasn't brazen enough to do so, nor did she have the physical strength necessary to keep up. With this knowledge, Hei took a few rapid steps back and allowed Asami's punch to contact the now airborne Hideki instead of Hei himself. When no other helpful words came from Shōhi, Hei found himself with a foot to his legs as she tried to trip him. In the end, she won the struggle but the scales where she had touched his body would be knocked loose due to Mōra Kuro Kijutsu. As he lost his footing, he did not take her next attacks, but instead avoided them altogether. "Foolish girl" These words echoed across the air for a few seconds as he vanished.

Once more there came a sonic boom, a flash of light, and a halo of water droplets, however there came another set a millisecond later, such that the sounds over lapped and tricked those near into thinking he had only done it once. The halos formed were 90 degrees upright, then 135 degrees tilted as Hei kicked off the ground with one Shundo, then kicked off the air with another and reappeared below Asami, but facing upwards with his leg cocked slightly behind him. His leg began to glow white and in a fraction of a second, shot at Asami's waist just as she was aiming her kick at where his right shoulder had been. His strength, matched with the speed granted by Kagayaki's Shikai and added to the negating factor of Mōra Kuro Kijutsu, would spell certain injuries for the female captain and likely send her flying into the air. Following through, he flipped over and landed cat-like on the ground near Hideki who would by this time likely be standing up. With skills worthy of the 2nd Division, Hei ninja'd his hand into Hideki's sleeve and stole two of his teleport tablets.

Already fully aware of how the .5 in by 2mm tablets worked, Hei tapped both of them with one of his fingers and joined them both with an invisible strand of Reiryoku. With his right hand, he stabbed his katana into mid air, and a pair of Japanese sliding doors appeared and opened up, allowing a bright light to pour out. Hei quickly tossed the two tablets; one inside the Senkaimon and one at the feet of Atley. The effect was instantaneous; the captain was teleported inside the Senkaimon just as Hei was shutting and locking it from his side. Since Hei hadn't bothered with a Hell Butterfly, Atley would be subjected to the Dangai. Cracking his fingers, Hei looked over to the remaining Lieutenants and spoke. However, his voice sounded odd as if it were two voices layered over each other, or rather two people speaking all at once. "The children have done enough, I think. They shant last too much longer.

With the old man out of the way, the children should be taken care of, and then the older children can be dealt with later. Sesshu is far too much power for them to witness, after all."
With a smirk playing across his face, we was upon them as the boy began to converse with the girl, driving his nails into the boy's chest with just enough power to puncture skin and muscle, but holding back so he didn't kill the kid. As he was slightly hanging in the air at this point, contorted his body, aimed a roundhouse kick to the boy's waist and placed his hand on Shōhi's tsuba, tugging it from his belt. The end of Shōhi's saya hit the ground first, embedding itself in the floor by a few inches. Now balancing atop the katana by palming the kashira in his right hand, Hei tipped towards the ground and in one swift movement, drew his katana and sent a blade of air barreling towards Elisia.

Hideki smirked. He new his captain would be well played in this form, and nothing changed. What struck him as odd is Hei never even paid a mind to his clone. Even if he knew he was there, above or in front, Hei would at least glance, something, to make sure of anything he felt. He was thorough like that, as a scientist it is something he practices constantly. He does however simply pay mind to reiryoku signatures, which might explain what happened, but still. Hideki couldn't help but run that through his head as he was lifted upwards, his eyes moving to find a point of interest.

They found a point soon enough as he saw Asami's fist heading towards his face. It slammed into it, and he made no move to resist the attack, and was flung backward. Hideki's body became like rubber and bent with the attack, moving with the punch, and rolling with the power behind it. Hideki was good at doing this, its something he learned in his days before the Gotei. In the prisons. As he whistled backwards he threw his right hand out above him, as he was going backwards, but parallel to the ground. His right hand shoved into the ground and seemed to contortion and break off, but in reality, it dug in, moved with him, and then spun 180 degrees the wrong way only to snap back in place and drag along as a break to his movement, a benefit of metal limbs.

Hideki would lay there on the ground with a not-so-deep fissure leading to his area and take a breath before getting up leisurely, dusting off his white garbs of all the dust the had gathered. At this time, he looked up only to see the flash of his captains image and feel a small and, oh so very subtle, breeze along his arm. With an odd contorted look on his face, Hideki stood with a hand in his right pocket. "I believe its time for me to get a little serious, yes?"

Lifting his right hand, palm down, in front of him a small spark of light appeared and began to elongate, forming the shape of a katana. Hideki leisurely dropped his hand down and slapped his hand around the figurative tsuka, gripping it softly and moving the blade down to his side. A pulse of reiatsu would fly from his body, blowing a halo of dust around him on the ground, only to collapse back to a one foot radius around him after getting around 5 feet away. As it condensed, his armor for his bankai would form from the feet upwards. Inversely, his Shihakushou seemed to peel away and disintegrate from his body.

Twirling a finger loosly around the tsuka of his now pure white and black handled blade, Hideki twirled Datenshi and held it in front of him, in a loose and informal kendo way, more like how a rapier should be held. Hideki's eyes focus upon Hei's figure and he smirked. "Teika no Tenshi." Hideki's reiatsu would pour out ten fold from what he normally would give out, something of a gift from Datenshi. It begin to break the surface of the ground as is spread outwards. It would travel about 20 feet around him in a circular formation, before comming back to Hideki, collapsing upon itself, and surging upwards into the sky, creating dark clouds that would swirl to the focal point of where the reiatsu would be emanating. The feeling of his reiatsu would change to something chilly, freezing almost, and would make the said person feel as though they were drowning, not by choking, but by water.

Hideki lifted his hand up and swung it off to the side lazily, lashing through the ground about 15 feet. It wasn't just for show, but something Hideki could do at will with a thought, and even worse when he wanted it. The blade his head was completely black and seem to want to drip downwards but then return to a katana form. After he did this, his right arm would crystalize and become demon-like, black in color. It would move to half of his face, and spread over his already present armor on his left arm, engulfing it in a diamond like defense. Flipping his blade to his left hand, it morphed into a type of scimitar with a larger curve to it, though not overly bearing. It was double edged and only the end had the larger curve, hooking almost. Hideki's face would become more feral than most, his teeth becoming sharp and his eyes becoming pure black, a strong contrast to his pale skin. His voice is raspy and more aggressive than it would be without the transformation. "Naraku no Unari..." Leaning forward, resting his weight on his larger right arm, Hideki's mouth pried open, showing his fangs clear as day. Accompanied by a deep chuckle, two circles appeared in front of Hideki, one 5ft in diameter and the smaller, only 3ft.

Energy from around him began to filter into the smaller circle, in front of the larger, and through the larger one, in front of Hideki, and then about 4 inches from Hideki's face. It swirled in quickly and devastatingly, taking from the ground, the air, and even from anyone too close. The energy would condense into a small ball, in front of Hideki's face, and after about 15 seconds of pulling in the energy, Hideki would lean forwards slightly and wrap his mouth around it, clasping his teeth around it and swallowing.

Gone without any notice whatsoever, this form gave Hideki indescribable speed. He moves, in this form, via blackness. Not darkness, blackness, the very essential reality that nothing is there, its just empty space, much like a black hole. His reiatsu, everything would vanish for just a fraction of a second before he would appear just before Hei, his face not half a foot from his abdomen. Hideki's mouth cocked open and out poured a huge amount of stockpiled energy. It was the equivalent of around 5-8 Gran Ray Cero's. The energy is compounded before entering his body, only to be even more augmented within himself, leaving him with the ability to expel such a large amount of reiryoku infused power without much of an effect on his stamina, it was taken from around him. The beam would decimate anything in its way, with the ability to kill lower shinigami, fatally wound other lieutenants and critically harm ill-trained captains. Knowing Hei to be no push over, and that this attack would hardly stand a chance against him now that he had Shohi, Hideki, while in the process of expelling the beam, moved his scimitar into the beam, it being uneffected, and having the curve wrap around Hei, by morphing it to do so, and pulling outwards with an inhuman strength for an otherwise inapparently physically fit arm.

This would set Hei up for two things, a distraction and hopefully a laced weapon cut; his blades are ever constantly laced with Reiryoku to help them cleave through things, even more so against reiryoku armor like Hei's current one. That, or it would be two head on, hard hitting attacks all would play out with time, that much was definite.

Lee noticed Hideki joining him in attacking up close something that may not have been a good idea something Lee was undecided on. He felt the tip of his blade cut through Hei's chest a little and succeeded in cutting his shoulder a little noticing that his feigned Senka had at least gave him a stab. Another thing that Lee noticed immediately was the fact that the moment the ice touched his skin it simply disappeared. The black particles in shikai could do the same which meant in Bankai at least in this state the particles were fused with his skin. Probably one of the reasons for the black skin.
'Well there goes that plan. No need to keep up the ice on the blade or even using abilities outside physical attacks till he releases that form. Something he may not do. He is annoying to have to try and formulate a working strategy against.'

Hearing Hei's words Lee glanced towards his eyes with a small chuckle taking a couple steps back. "Indeed I keep it up and you just might be bothered enough to remember my name Hakase-taicho." The sentence was said with clear amusement behind it flicking his blade once and causing the ice to fly off the blade towards the ground. "I take it your current technique carries the same properties as those annoying particles? Oh well. No kido then I suppose." Not pushing the attack again quite yet to allow Hei a chance to deal with the other attackers Lee merely observed. The Lieutenants seemed to be either pretty much down for the count as it was in Elisia's case or frustrated at the Twelfth Captain.

Only Hideki seemed to have managed to deal any lasting damage at the present and like most of the damage Hei had sustained it was minimal. They were out of their element trying to take on Hei or at least that was the way it appeared to Lee. Still they did come here for training and they certainly wouldn't leave without at least learning something.
'Okay time to go back to planning. Now as I have said I wouldn't use kido since I doubt it will have any effect that could also work to my advantage. Throwing a hado large enough to conceal my movements I could travel behind it to launch a sneak attack. I usually don't like such sneaky techniques but I need something for him.'

As he pondered the possibilities Hei seemed to have stole some tablets from Hideki then proceeded to use them to teleport Atley away from the battle. 'There goes one Captain. s**t. Well it will be less to have to coordinate against now.' With the attack on the first Division Lieutenant Lee prepared himself to launch his attack. Then suddenly Hideki's increased reiatsu flowed out over the area causing Lee to stop eyes narrowed. 'I have had it with all this reiatsu. I mean damn.' The simple fact that it wasn't stronger than Hei's was able to assist him in pulling through the effects so that he could rejoin the fight. However when he looked back up Hideki let loose an enormous attack of energy then swung into it to catch Hei off guard. 'Well there goes that idea as well.'

Sighing Lee decided to wait until Hideki was finished since if he tried anything now he would just get caught up in Hideki's attack. 'I wonder how much longer he will last...' Then suddenly something was brought to Lee's attention that occupied his mind. Why had Hei spared him from the counter attack? Lee had clearly attacked him and had even caused a small amount of damage to him so why? Was it Hei's way of saying he didn't consider him a threat? His way of brushing lee aside as insignificant? Or was it something else entirely? Lee sighed at the thoughts a little frustrated at the potential of being ignored but not letting it show on his face as he watched Hideki and Hei. Perhaps he would be able to find out shortly.

Elisia was in deep thought at the moment. While she knew that this was definitely not the best moment to think up of a plan, she had to try something. Anyway, it was likely that the Captains wouldn’t listen to what she said if she thought up of something. After all, she was just a Lieutenant and she had no backing behind her ideas. She was a healer, not someone who thought up of tactics. Lifting her head slightly, she caught sight of Asami and Hideki attacking at the same time. Would that work? Her eyes followed the battle carefully and she couldn’t help but wince when she noticed Asami had punched Hideki. A sigh spilled out of her lips. This was really foolish and stupid. They were supposed to be attacking Captain Hakase, but with the lack of coordination, they were attacking each other instead. Soon enough, they’d all be defeated without Captain Hakase having to do much at all. Their attacks barely seemed to be having any effect again him anyway, although she had a feeling with these many Lieutenants and Captains against him, he might not be able to take care of them all at once. Picking them off one by one would be the easiest way to get rid of them. Either that, or he would just have to turn them on each other.

She heard a voice near her and she looked around herself for the source. It was Tetsunosuke, the First Division Lieutenant. A plan? He was asking her whether she had a plan? To tell the truth, she didn’t know exactly that she was capable of thinking up a logical and well-thought out idea to beat Captain Hakase. All she had, right at this moment, was the fact that they needed to coordinate and figure out a way to fight as a team. That was…literally…impossible. Everybody wanted to do their own thing and it would be hard for so many different types of abilities to weave together. If they only had just a short while in which Captain Hakase would not attack, they might be able to. Then again, he wouldn’t want that to happen at all. The reiatsu, that he was releasing, was already enough to make her want to give up and collapse. Unfortunately, reiatsu control wasn’t one of her best abilities and her good abilities wouldn’t be able to do anything against this. Releasing her own reiatsu would not do anything for her at the moment and it would only hinder the movements of others.
“No, I’ve not total-” her voice was abruptly cut off.

Her hand automatically clenched into a tight fist, her knuckles slowly turning white as Captain Hakase attacked them. Of course. Removing the weaker ones from the fight would be the best thing to do at the moment. She barely had enough time to construct a shimmering energy shield around herself before his blade of air headed her way. It slashed her shield, which had been hastily and rather crudely created, into pieces. A low growl issued out of her mouth before she realized what she had been doing. She tensed herself, ready to attack him, all thoughts running from her head except for the idea of revenge. However, a sudden release of reiatsu jolted her back to her senses and she glanced at Hideki. Crap. It looked as if he was preparing for a massive attack. In a whirl of robes, she used shunpo and appeared a short way away. In a short while, a massive ray of energy had been released. Ouch. She could have been caught in that. There was no point fighting at the moment, since she might get caught up in Hideki’s attacks. She also had to preserve her energy for healing, just in case somebody might be badly injured. Examining her own injuries carefully, she pulled an irritated face. Regrettably, her hastily constructed shield had not fully stopped the blade of air, although it had protected her from the full impact. She had a deep gash across her left shoulder and several other small cuts elsewhere. Using her light energy, she slowly healed the injuries. Hopefully, Tetsunosuke had escaped from Captain Hakase’s and Hideki’s attacks.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

First Division's Lieutenant

User Image

Tetsunosuke was holding on tightly as Elisia began to talk. He'd no idea how to form a plan with the captains, let alone with these Lieutenant. Sakuzen Kosshi was still resting over his shoulder as he let his left arm hang lifelessly beside him.
When Elisia looked to Tetsu, he noticed she was having trouble with the Reiatsu that was being admitted. Tetsunosuke was having the same problem, but it didn't seem to hinder him as much. Or maybe he was just to dense to take notice that this overwhelming power could kill him before he could even blink.

And speaking of blinking... just as he did so...

Tetsunosuke felt the plunge of nails that drove into his chest, the searing pain caused him to look as he was lifted off the ground. His dilated pupils turned into narrowed eyes as glared at the freak. "Ya... b*****d." He scuffed as he struggled to breath through his mouth. "You're... holding back. I said to kill me; p***y." He smirked as the zanpakuto slide down from his hand and the hilt of the pole touched the ground. Immediately, bones shot up and conjoined around his leg he hadn't used to send Tetsunosuke flying through the air; they crisscrossed -the intent was to bind him there so someone else attack would hit Hei- around his leg and some intended to puncture through his leg and other parts of his body. But that wasn't all, more was sent towards the chest, arms and head. All of the bones that were aimed at the waist below were sharp and slightly curved. Arms, legs, and spiked bones were sent toward his upper half; the number of bones were in the upper hundreds.

Tetsunosuke felt the full brunt of Hei's kick to his waist. When the kick landed, he could have sworn he heard more bones in his body crack then what he thought. Tetsu was sent ruffly forty feet from Hei; skidding to a stop safely away from Hideki's attack. After collecting his mental awareness and the ringing stopped in his ears, Tetsunosuke opened his eyes and felt the pain shot through his body. He cursed and spat blood from his already blood soaked mouth. His entire right side felt like he was a human and had just gotten hit by ten cars in a row. "Great..." He mocked himself. He remained simply flat face down on the ground.

Hei rubbed his chin at the sight of Hideki changing his appearance; or at least his clothing, general outerwear or whatever word Hideki chose to label them as. It was a foreboding form, one befitting the 12th Division which carried a flair for attracting users of the dark arts; at least that was what Hei had deigned them in a fit of mad scientist, well madness one day. Well, all except for that new girl who decided to ruin their streak and be born a fire user; a useless addition to his division by all accounts. So there stood Hei, eying Hideki's new appearance and trying to remember if he had seen it before when all of a sudden Hideki decided that it was a good idea to snare him and fire a giant beam at him, point blank no less. To say the least, Hei was throttled by it as he had little to no room to dodge it.

Once the beam was clear, Hei sported cuts where Hideki's blades had been and in his head he felt like he had been hit by a truck, but was otherwise fine outwardly. Mōra had taken care of the beam, or at least the non-physical aspect of it, be it burning, exploding, or piercing; Hei would never know since Mōra had erased it. However, it would do little for the fact that the beam actually had physical force, which is what actually affected Hei in the long run and knocked him silly for about three seconds, which was more than enough time for Tetsunosuke's bones to take form around his body. However, they turned black and vanished just as quickly as they formed, Mōra taking care of them as well. After shaking his head to regain his senses, he looked toward Tetsunosuke's and cocked an eyebrow.

"p***y? Yes I do indeed know what one feels like. I am, after all, able to get a woman. Because unlike you, I do not wait for them to make a move." He lifted a blackened, yet otherwise elegant finger and pointed it at Elisia. "You'll be in your 800's and still be at the holding hands stage. How do you like that? My ability to take a word out of context and turn it upon you? I think you may find that I am better at physical, mental, and emotional abuse: A trifecta of abuse, if you will. Though it is your choice in the end; gain a Bankai or a first place trophy in a foot-in-mouth contest. Think long and hard, my dear boy. We would want you making bad decisions. Yadda yadda, blah blah blah, your mother, your father, so on and so forth." With a demure wave of his hand, Hei yawned, signifying that he had grown bored with the current conversation; not that the medium length speech wasn't enough evidence as he tended to talk when he was bored.

Shaking his wrists, Hei rolled his neck and looked at Hideki; and had the Lieutenant been looking very hard, he might have been able to catch a glimpse of what seemed to be a wink. Hei vanished with a flash of light and a sonic boom and started for Hideki, only for a halo of water droplets to form just in front of the Lieutenant as Hei vanished with another flash of light and sonic boom. Several seemingly simultaneous flashes and loud noises later and Hei's leg, which was now fully white and glowing, was being swung towards the side of Tetsunosuke's head with enough force and speed to cause serious bruising, if not fractures of the cheek and jaw bones. Hei solidly appeared, if only to smirk at Tetsunosuke as he was struck. "So small..." His voice echoed across the air as he had vanished again, next to the Lieutenant, aiming a hard punch to his kidney, then to his neck and chin in rapid succession to put Tetsunosuke out of commission. He tugged his sword from its saya and slashed downwards at the top of his right shoulder, then contorted his body to aim a full force kick to his forehead.

Turning away from Tetsunosuke, Hei looked toward Lee and used a Shunpo to appear in front of him. Just as he did so, shining circles of light appeared at Lee's feet and bubbles of nothingness appeared around Lee as Hei layered 6 Kutsūnomaru on top of each other and 6 Kūkū no Akuryoku on top of that. Both Kidō had their base powers amplified by a factor of six, then had that doubled due to Hei's affinity. The result was going to be a sharp pain and a small explosion that would do much more than distract. After this, Hei aimed to slam his hands over Lee's ears to discombobulate, then drew them back, and attempted to strike Lee in the neck with his elbow while striking him in the stomach with his right fist.

Lee watched Hei's reaction to Hideki's attack noticing that it had indeed caught him off guard which was quite unusual for the Science Captain. As soon as the attack was finished the First Division Lieutenant launched his attack which had succeeded somewhat though didn't actually do anything. Listening to what was being said from Hei caused Lee to gaze at the Lieutenant apathetically as Hei recommenced the attack on the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant's efforts were somewhat admirable but no one present was truly a match for the Twelfth Captain especially below the level of Captain. Hei was likely just playing with most present for the time being until he felt the need to end things. Then suddenly the familiar energy of kido was all around him obviously signifying that Hei intended to keep using kido despite his currently activated ability. Reacting quickly a thin layer of ice former around his body not protecting him from the sharp pain but adding some protection from the explosion.

The resulting attack shattered the ice but the armor saved him from taking the full brunt of the attack. Still the sharp pain was felt in full effect causing Lee to grimace slightly as he spoke one word expecting Hei to continue the assault.
"Shunko." The kido energy fired off for a second time surrounding his body in a white kido energy enhancing his limbs. To prepare to defend against Hei in close combat Lee tossed his Zanpakuto up into the air. Managing to get his hands up in time thanks in partial to tossing his blade into the air he stopped the attack to his eardrums though it certainly was felt in his hands and arms but was unable to stop the punch to the stomach. Deciding to take the attack and turn it slightly in his favor perhaps he sidestepped slightly to the left. The punch connected solidly enough but rolled off Lee's abs before doing a severe amount of damage and following through Lee took his right leg in the blink of an eye and moved it behind Hei's legs.

Following through Lee drew back slightly then thrusted both fists forward towards Hei's chest knowing fully well the kido energy would be nullified from adding damage yet the extra speed it added would still add to the force of the attack even if stopped. Without waiting for a reaction Lee then drew his right hand back into an open hand and thrusted it forward with more force than before towards Hei's chest intending to send Hei flying backwards with the combination of his leg.
"Shō." Finishing off the attack the first hado added to his open handed strike intending to send him back farther not knowing if it would be nullified or not. Catching his Zanpakuto backwards as it landed the whole thing having taken no more than a few seconds at most he stepped back. Just in case as a precaution Lee then thrusted his blade backwards canceling the possibility of being taken by surprise from behind because of Hei's speed. Inspecting himself with a quick glance down Lee let out a sigh at the noticeable burns and other things from the explosion along with the internal pain still being experienced at the moment.

There was an intense pain coming from his midsection where Hei's fist connected though there probably wasn't anything broken there would definitely be some bruising if left untreated. Lee's hands and arms were also slightly sore from blocking the attack though not all that bad simply because of the type of attack used.
"Such a troublesome attack Hakase-taicho. I will be sure to repay you in full the moment you can be effected by kido properly again. Be sure of that. Even if it kills me I will not lose so easily. I will prove that I have earned my position for those who might doubt such a thing. Even if I cannot defeat you I will make sure you at least remember this battle one way or another." Ending the little speech with a slight glare his muscles tensed already ready to continue the assault or to go on the defense. Which one he decided to go with would depend on Hei's reaction and other as of yet unknown factors that could become annoying. "Besides isn't it about time you took things more seriously instead of playing with the children?" The statement was not quite intended as it was said and despite the coldness with which it was delivered, was simply Lee's way of trying to get Hei's attention away from the Lieutenants to either give them time to recover or escape whichever they chose.

[Teika no Tenshi 2/6]

Hideki vanished from physical space for a few seconds and reappeared some 10 feet behind where his attack had gone for Hei. He found it odd that Hei had been hit by it, but it was far more eccentric that he had even allowed Tetsunosuke's attack to land upon him. It did, however, give him a small bit of a pride boost to see his attack land.

His eyes, black as the abyssal and malevolent night, focused upon Hei as he spoke to Tetsunosuke. He wanted to pay mind to any and all movements he chose to make, choosing observance over offensive action. He knew, upon the yawn and wave of his hand, that Hei was finished speaking to the young lieutenant. As Hei turned to Hideki, the sharp contrast of his bright eyes to his dark skin was the only thing that gave the small faded glisten of his eye as he winked away. Hideki didn't know exactly what he meant, but figured he was going to do something along the lines of a feign attack.

Hideki's notion was pretty much on the dot. The moment a sonic boom was heard by Hideki, he crouched down, placing his larger right arm on the ground and holding his blade out to the left, the curve facing forward. Hei was to quick to be truly seen, but the feeling of the second sonic boom that occurred in front of Hideki gave him an at ease feeling, knowing full well what he had gone to do.

His attention moved to each of Hei's targets, each as he reached them. Tetsunosuke seemed to have a handful of damage that was, from what he could precieve, quite critical. If he survived to stand up then it would be a surprise to Hideki. Hideki thought even worse of lee, the latter target. Both kidou would do nothing if not layered and Hei having an affinity for the element they were.

Upon Hei coming to end his string of combos, Hideki lifted his larger arm into the air and closed all his fingers, aside from his index finger. It began to emanate a dark aura, much like an extremely dark powder. He flung his finger to point towards Hei and Lee letting out a deep raspy bellow, "Angoku Ame."

His finger shot out a long slender, deep black beam that eventually, around halfway there, broke, or rather duplicated, into thousands of the same beam. It would cover an area of around 50-100 square feet as it flew through the air, and would have such minuscule space between the beams that it would be impossible to simply maneuver between them. You'd have to be quick enough to get out of range as they wisped towards you at incredible speeds. Upon hitting their targets, they would pierce and explode, and if they miss, the rest converge a few seconds after being released, roughly around 15, and explode into a large powerful wave.
