Jamal had no idea that perhaps now wasn't the best time, but he was bored and since he was sure he had made more enemies as the days passed, the only person he could think to bug would be Antony. He noticed that the windows were open earlier on his way to get something to eat, so to him, that was an open invitation. Plus she did say to come visit whenever, right?
He was dressed in baggy basketball shorts and a clean white tank with a black silhouette of a hand gun on the back. His shoes were his usual basketball ones and today his hair was free of it's headwrap, done up in fresh cornrows that weren't as neat as they ought to be;he had no one to do them for him...so he had to adapt to doing them himself. Jamal also had a pocket full of joints, some for him and some for her that he had been meaning to bring over sooner. If anything, they could be a "no hard feelings" gift for her socking him in the junk.
The black man tromped over to the duplex and knocked once before calling out "Antony", then cracking the door open slightly. Not enough to see inside all that well, but open just the same.

She didn't hear the knock, but when he called out her name, Antony jolted out of the daze she had been in for gods know how long. Lofting the sketchbook, still open, onto the coffee table so she wouldn't have to sit up, she looked over to the door curiously.
"Come in," Antony recognized the voice even in her daze, and had no problems with Jamal visiting.
Her hair was messy, and she was clothed in a tank top and a pair of form fitting, flared jeans. Clothes appropriate for lounging around the house and cleaning in.

Jamal opened the door open and came in, grinningly slyly as he did so. "Hey..." he started, then looked around the room with a slight air of surprise. Dammit, her place looked way better than his and she'd just gotten here. "Aw s**t, yous cleaned yer place all up. It looks real good!...wanna come do mine all up since ya got the free time?" He was obviously joking, but hell, if she was that bored...he wouldn't say no.

"Thanks, and nope. I'm not your mother." It was a joke, and Antony smiled slightly before shrugging, "I figure if I'm stuck here..." she trailed off, hoping that he'd understand what she was saying.
Clearing her throat somewhat, she tried to think of something to change the subject with. "Still broken?" Her eyes glanced downward, as if evaluating this for herself. Not like she could see really through his clothing or anything.

Unfortunately, he did understand all too well what she was talking about, so he didn't inquire further on it. Instead, he grinned and plopped on the arm of the couch closest to her head, peering down at her.
"Naw, I ain't broke no more," he said with a bit of a laugh. "But s**t, I oughta be, consid'rin' how hard ya kick. Not dat I mind a quick healin'..." He rolled his eyes some, then started to dig into the pocket of his shorts. "Speakin' of dat, I got som'thin' fo ya."

Her eyes followed him until his sat down directly above her, and since she really didn't want to see up his nose, she pushed herself up until she was leaning against the couch's arm and Jamal.
"Well that's good," she commented, chuckling slightly and grinning with his 'compliment.'
And then he mentioned that he brought something for her. Presents? Awesome! Antony's eyes lit up and she sat up more to try and see what he was pulling out of his pocket, "Watcha got for me?"
She could only wish that he had somehow procured tickets the ******** off this island.

If only he had tickets....but if he did, he was probably the sort to just take off and say "******** ya'll, have a good life" and leave them to their own devices.
But instead, he pulled out out a plastic sandwich baggie from his pocket, then dangled it teasingly in front of her face. The bottom was full of tightly rolled blunts of a decent size...probably about a dozen and a half of them.
"Ta prove I ain't mad at ya," he said with a wink and a smirk. "Plus it ain't fair ya gotta depend on me wheneva ya want a good hit."

Antony's eyes grew wide, a dangerous grin coming over her lips, and before he could change his mind, she took the bag from him. It took a great deal of effort not to snatch it and run. That was a ******** lot of pot, and it was all hers. If at all possible, her grin seemed to get eviler.
"You are..." she trailed off, changing her mind before laughing gleefully, "s**t thanks."
Twisting around entirely to face him, legs folding under her somewhat, Antony gave the leg closest to her an added pat in thanks before her attention returned to gawking at the baggie. Moments later, the bag of pot was set on the coffee table. She would smoke one later, and then hoard them. This may be the last green she'd ever see, and Antony was going to make it last as long as possible.

Jamal crossed his arms and leaned back. watching her reaction with visible amusement. He knew there wasn't any way she wasn't going to like it, but it was nice to get approval once in awhile Everyone needed a good ego boost now and then.
"Ain't no problem," he said, grinning to show off his even, white teeth that were only doubly white due to his skin complextion. "I ain't gotta problem sharin' if I know it's gonna be appreciated and hell, I know this place is bad 'nough...no reason ta make it worse wit'out a lil green."

"Mov-...oh, dat blonde haired guy...had da white streak thing goin' in his hair or something, yeah?" Jamal hadn't officially met him, but he'd heard talk and had seen in around. He didn't know him well enough to make a fair judgement, but if Antony said he was a p***y, then why even bother.
At the mention of her pissing people off, he snorted and shook his head. "Well dat ain't hard ta piss 'em off," he stated, moving off the arm of the couch to sit on the actual seat of the couch now that she had moved her legs. He sat sideways so his back was against the armrest, one leg was drapped over the edge of the couch and the other leg was curled on the cushion in front of him. "They got sticks up their asses so ********' far 'n' they thinkin they so much betta than ev'rybody else dat you say anythin' wrong...well, you might as well not even botha'. 'Specially dat Ambrose b*****d....him 'n' 'nother b***h named Lauren. All da decent people I ain't seen 'round in awhile."

She nodded to his question, "Yeah, that's him. Does one thing and says another. I hate when people do that."
Waiting until he had finished moving, Antony shifted somewhat, leaning sideways against the back of the couch and facing Jamal while he spoke. The few people he mentioned were tucked away for future reference, since she had yet to meet either of them. "I know. ********, first he was congratulating me for getting laid my first night here, and then he was calling me a whore. Accused me of having diseases."
Antony huffed at the last part. Since she was so sexually active, she made sure to go to her doctor's and get tested for whatever you can get these days. That and she used protection. Like hell she wanted to deal with that possibility again.

"Sounds ta me like he eitha' scared of ya, thinkin' he can't handle what you dish out or maybe he jus' a ********' puss all 'round who's tryin' ta look tough. From what I heard, he gets 'round, so he ain't got no right ta be claimin' ta be da virgin Mary. s**t, them famous types always in da news wit' getting some sorta disease o' getting knocked up."
He squinted then, peering at her with a slightly tilted head . "N' what even gave him dat idea you got some sorta disease anyways. He ain't neva' been 'round ya befo'. He don't know you."
Jamal was hardly worried that Antony might have some sort of disease...somehow he had played russian roulette for so many years without getting something himself from his old partners that he never really considered it anymore. A very bad idea, but that's how he was.

Antony nodded in agreement with him before interjecting, "Eh, I told him it was his loss."
"Cause he was trying to be an a*****e and failing," she shrugged before smiling, "But I'm clean and I put him in his place, so everything is hunky dory."
Running a hand through her hair absently, considering something with a frown. "So how many people are on this island exactly?" She hoped that there was a decent amount, that way, statistically, there should be other people who Antony could tolerate other than Jamal here. With her luck, it'd be just the two of them.
Then, something hit her quite randomly, "Hey, tomorrow's New Year's Eve right?"

"Definately his loss," Jamal said with a very cocky grin. "Whateva'...he ain't worth da time." He tilted his head back then to look at the ceiling, trying to think of how many people WERE on the island. There was a good number...
"Well, I know a fair amount of peeps...they hang out in groups like ********' seagulls," he comment as he started to mentally name off people and tick them off on his fingers, coming up with almost two dozen names. "I know there be some peeps I ain't met yet 'round herr somewhere, but I know I seen at least 19 of 'em and heard of a coupla others."
When she mentioned New Years, he got a positively wicked look on his face, though mentally he was bemoaning the fact that he knew he was quickly reaching month three of being stuck here. "Yeah, must be....jus' had ********, ya know what dat means!"
