Atem was glad that he did get to sit near Amme this time as well, he knew he wouldent be able to spend much time with her in a few days so he wanted to spend as much time as he could with her, even now. He turned tords Seth when he spoke "thats good " he said since everything was going smothly "Everything should be ready by tomarrow night then" he asked though he knew it would be.
Anala looked at the food, she ate allready with Amme in her room, why did she need more she was fine. She jest passed on all the food and slumped down over the table. she was sitting across from Seth, normely she was never able to get his close, she had to do it from far away so she was using this to get a very good look at him.

Seth raised an eyebrow at Anala. Once for not eating anything and two for slumping in her chair. He lowered his fork and looked at her, "Not accepting our food now?"
"No, she already ate before. I didn't realize dinner would be so soon," Amme said for Anala. Amme really only had a piece of fruit so she was hungry enough for dinner. Not that she ate much to begin with.
Then what was the point of her coming to dinner Seth thought. "Well if Ammeterasu already fed you, that means that you obviously didn't have any type of protein," he said with a smirk. "Ammeterasu, pass her the lamb," Seth said. He was in a bad mood, he was going to make sure nobody else was happy.
Amme's eye twitched a little. He was trying to get to her, what did she do? "Anala already passed off the lamb, I'm sure she would have taken some if she wanted it to begin with," Amme said to him. She didn't care if other people ate meat, nor did she ever lecture them not to. Unless she was questioned that is. But she hated touching it, as well as eating it obviously.
"Well I don't see why anybody would pass it up," Seth said sarcastically. Amme scowled a little bit after Seth said that, in which he replied, "Do you have anything to say to me?"
"I just think that some people are not respectful of the fact that these were once a living beings," Amme said with a slight attitude. This was one of those subjects that could easily get her upset.
"I think some people need to hold their tongue and get over it. It's the way life is," Seth said smirking as he continued eating. "Afterall, it's just a dumb animal," he said smirking to himself.
It was only the beginning of the meal and Seth somehow angered her so easily so soon. Must be a new record. Amme put her utensils down making sure they clank loudly against her plate. She then crossed her arms and stared at Seth. Seth pretended not to see her staring and continued eating.

Anala looked between Seth and Amme "Jackel man is taking care of them" she said to Amme since for some reasion it seemed to upset her.
jest great this was happing allready. Atem dident really want this to happen but it was "Seth must you do this, we jest barly started" he asked since he usely atleast waits a little longer before starting up everyone else seemed slightly annoyed as well
"I ate lamb a few days ago, the jackels left me enufe when they were done" Anala added in for herself, though that ment it was raw and not much, she got some that was what was inportent. It may seem odd and barbaick but thats how she knew. "Am I a dumb animal?" she asked since she lived like one and with animals, vutely showing that humans themselfs were jest a kind of animal.
Atleast Amme had someone else on her side, Atem smiled since now Anala might get Seths attiton on her and not on Amme, she seemed to be able to handel herself allright. "its there choise Seth, no one questions the things you do...well actuly i question you all the time i jest dont voice it"

Amme glanced over at Anala and smiled a little. She believed her, after all, her item seemed to allow her to communicate with Anubis. Amme didn't think to much about Anala saying the jackals left her food. She wasn't sure she wanted to think about it more, so she let it be. But Anala really didn't have a choice did she? She had to eat after all.
Seth ignored Atem and just smirked. He kept his eyes on Anala and said, "Are you an animal? No, you are a human." As far as people knew during this time, animals and humans were different. He did not have the mind set that Anala had. Seth picked up his glass and swirled his drink around as he said, "Nobody except for you can question me anyway." It was no secret that Seth was cocky, he made it known.

To Anala she lived with animals so that should mean she is one. "I dont think i would like killing needlessly like humans do" she said, she been in town and near the farms so she knew that humans would kill what they thought were pests "you kill eachother, more animel than you need to eat, and dont even eat all of it. rather wastful" to her it seemed like that so why do it, "Kill what you need to eat, dont wast anything." thats jest what she learned from the jackles she watched and anything else out there, the predators only killed when they needed to.
Atem was now enjoying himself, eth wosent usaly this talkative at dinner so this was entertaning "well this is entertaning" he said, he might get to cought up in this to eat, though no one would let him forget to eat.

"But you are human," Seth said, "And you kill just like we do. Just because you don't waste anything doesn't make you a better person. And we kill those who pose a threat to our society. If we didn't, murders would kill more then we ever did. Can you understand that?" He looked at Anala again remembering something, "What are you talking about anyway? I heard you killed a snake in the court yard before. What is your excuse for that? You surely didn't eat the snake did you?" Seth was beyond having an attitude with her. For some reason, this was rather personal to him. Why he didn't know, usually he stated his mind and left it at that. But he was affected by this and he didn't know why.
Amme looked at Atem and gave him a quirky smile. "I don't know if 'entertaining' is quite the correct word to use," she said to him. She looked at both Seth and Anala. While Atem thought it was interesting, she felt things were only going to get worse. People usually backed down from Seth, Anala wasn't. And as much as Seth needed someone to stand up to him, she was worried about what would happen. She sipped her drink quietly as she watched the two go at it.

"It was going to bite Amme, if i dident kill it it would have killed her" Analla said since it would have if she haddent intervened "if i had time i would have taken it and eaten it." Atem scared her off though so she couldent "and if i killed it i though she could teach me to read so you would like me" sje said bluntly honestly, she dident really know what a lie was, not being around humans long enufe to learn how to do that so she jest said how she thought and felt.
Atem had been perfectly content watching and nibbling and sipping his drink. Though when he hured Anala say she wanted Seth to like her he was shocked and coughed on the sip he was taking a little. "What" he asked since this did shock him. not that he thought it was imposabul for someone to like Seth, he was good looking he addmetted, but he was a jurk.

Seth made a face at her when she said she would have eaten the snake. "That is inhumain," he said just to make her feel bad.
Amme glared at Seth after him comment.
"Don't make that face at me. You don't even approve of such things," he said knowing she couldn't make a double standard.
Amme stayed quite, she didn't want to put up an argument and make things worse. Not only was that rude to say to her, but he just got done talking about how good the lamb was. Both were animals, what was the difference? Amme looked over sweetly and gently with her eyes to Anala. She wondered why she out and said it to Seth though. After all, weren't they sort of.... arguing? Her gaze disappeared when she heard coughing. She swung her head to look at Atem. "Are.... are you ok?" she asked pretty much sure knowing why he choked on his food.
Seth froze for a moment and stared at the girl. That last sentence just didn't add up in his head. "Most of the women here can read, doesn't make me hate them less," he said sourly. He was used to girls liking him, though most lose interest in him after he talks back to them. He didn't like mindless people, male or female. He had to admit, at least this woman stood up for herself. But in the same instance, he was always right no matter what and he would not take someones back talk to him. He was at a lost of words about her liking him. Usually he would tell someone off and that would be the end of it. He didn't do it this time. Instead he ignored her and went back to eating.
Amme facepalmed as she listened to part of Seth's response. She was almost certain he would spat out something obscene to her. However he stopped. She looked up and saw he simply ignored her statement. She didn't question it, maybe it was better that way.

Atem nodded "ya, i jest wosent expecting her to say that" he said since that was jest the shock that got him. Well he would never have expected that. well maybe this would be good for Seth, a girl like this could be jest what Seth needs to knock him down a few pegs and have him act a little more human.
Anala dident seem to care all that much, the fact was they could read, she couldent. and if she could then Seth would like her more "there empty though, i see it. if they wernt empty, you would like them" she said, meaning that when she used the locket they were jest shels looking for an easy way to get what ever they were told they want. Even if seth wosent a high preist she would probely still like him.

Seth looked up at her with a dirty look and said in a hiss, "How do you know what I like and what I don't like?" His tone was a lot more harsher. She was right though, the reason he hated those women so was because they were empty. But that wasn't the only reason why he didn't like them. "And you think that by some miracle if you learned how to read I would magically like you?" he growled back at her. He carefully avoided 'love' and made sure to say 'like'. He didn't like were this was going, the way she spoke, it made him feel strangely and he hated that feeling. "Besides I don't need anybody, they would only get in the way," he added.
She looked back up at Atem and smiled quirkly with her eyes shut. However then she heard Seth's anger. Just as she feared this got worse. Amme obviously looked nervous as she looked back and forth between the two. "Um..... you know.... I'm done and Anala isn't hungry so..... maybe we should just get going....." Amme said thinking that it was perhaps time to go and leave Seth alone. Though she had a horrible feeling in her stomach that it wouldn't be that easy.

Anala looked over at Amme for a moment before looking back at Seth "Then Ill find something else that you will like and do that" she said. she wouldent give up she was to stubboren to do that, and this was all jest to make sure Seth was happy, though she could do that from the shadows now she couldent though. "I can find ware Bakura is if you want" she knew the desert better than anyone so she was sure she could find him.
Atem stood as well, this was getting to far, and also Seth was being stubbern as well but it was and he would get Seth to see that Anala was jest trying to show she liked him "Seth, thats enufe" he said to him.

Seth's scowl only went away when Anala said she could find Bakura. He stood up and looked at her. "How do you know how to find Bakura?" he said instantly. Seth wanted nothing more then to catch him and make him pay. He wanted to bring that fiend to justice once and for all. Not only that, he wanted to repay him for the wound he gave him ealier.
Amme looked at Anala instantly when she said she could. "Anala you don't have to..." Amme said but was interrupted.
"Don't even start," he said pointing at her. Did she think that just because Anala was a girl that that would change anything?
"This is not her battle Seth, it is ours," Ammeterasu said giving him a look.
"It is everyone's battle. It's everyone's obligation to keep the Pharaoh and royalty safe as well as this kingdom," he said quickly and sternly to Amme. All the previous strange feelings that he was witnessing before disappeared. The desire he held to catch Bakura set in. "And if you question it again then I must question your loyalty," he snapped at her.
Amme stood up and gave the coldest stare she could to Seth, "Don't ever question my loyalty, ever." It was the coldest tone of voice Amme had ever voiced. She could no longer take Seth for today, she turned away from the others and left the table. She only said something in the first place because she didn't want Anala to get hurt. She didn't want her risking her life to impress Seth and try to win him. Because Amme was almost certain that man could not care for any other living soul except himself. She understood catching Bakura was of the upmost importance. She simply was worried about Anala, was that so wrong?

Atam scowled "Seth, I know you want to catch Bakura, we all do, but she shouldent have to do this jest because you cant see past your ego" he said. Anala dident live around himans he could see that much, she had no attachment to anyone there. He would have to go make sure Amme was allright after this as well but he dident want Seth to take her out without him knowing "As pharaoh you and Anala are forbedden to leave the palice grounds " he said, Seth wouldlessen though Anala might not, now he had to to talk to Amme.
"I live in the Desert, why wouldent i know it" Anala said since she knew mose of it by heart now, though her locket helped alot "He would need to be someware ware he can get shelter and water i know ware the water is" though it wosent a sure shot it was still worth something. "why do i have to stay here" she asked.

Seth shot Atem a look but quickly rid it. Atem was the only one he listened to, the only one he never opposed. He couldn't, we was the Pharaoh. And even though he was the only person he had a high opinion about, he didn't always agree with him. Nor did he really like having to listen to anyone. But he knew his place. He simply sat back down and kept quiet. How could he do this? Perhaps they had a chance with this girl.
Amme slowed down her pace once she was far enough from the dinning room. Seth seemed absolutely hell bent today. Perhaps she would just try to avoid him tomorrow. She thought about trying to make her rounds in the village tomorrow. It would be a good way to avoid Seth..... but also a risk of giving him something to yell at her for. She sighed a little to herself but stopped when she thought she heard something. She looked down the hallway yet saw nothing. She was about to walk away again but heard it again. She stopped again and looked down the hallway, staring into the nothingness. It was a strange noise..... almost like the sound of slithering but not quite.

Anala looked at Atem, he seemed to be the equiel to a pack alfea so she figered for now it would be good to sit tight. she looked back ar Seth for a while though "...I can go look tonight" she offered since she might not find him but she could find ware he wosent. "Though Amme said she would help me read more after this" she thought for a moment, she figured reading would be good "Ill do that instad i think" she got up and went to find Amme
If Atem could have he would have gatten out earler but guards had to make sure he was allright, he wanted to see if Amme was allright since he knew she was shaken up and he dident like it when she was upset.
