That is the most reluctant time for that team...they became the best spies of all times. When she turns 19, in a government gala, someone tried to kill her father like a protest against the president, by a gunshot...so she sacrificed herself to save him...giving her a fatal shot while she counterattack the murdered. She tries to go after him, but falls to the ground, because she couldn't take it. After she passed away, she is selected from a legion of angels, to get back to Earth, in order to do some reseach, while keeping appeareances.
