Low Man on the Totem Pole

Guppy was a fish... and yet he was flying at the moment, having been to slow to dodge his Master's tail when the two of them were training. He hit the ground rather hard, rolled, and came to a halt at the edge of water coated in sand. Slowly he opened one eye to look over at where Leviathan was standing before giving a gasping sound as he realized that the lesson of sorts was in no way over... in fact the large, heavy tail of his Master was coming right down at him. Guppy scrambled in the sand and was able to avoid the tail this time around though only just barely. He stumbled, half blinded by the sand, into the water and dove under.

Leviathan blinked a couple times as his servant retreated before giving a shake of his head, "Dumb idea to go to the water." He muttered to himself, following after. The little fish brain didn't think to far ahead yet, he wasn't trying hard enough to be really... well... strategic. To run to the water when the one he was fleeing from was more at home in the water then on land was a bad idea. At least on land Guppy had a better chance given he had those legs of his to move around with, able to move at a pace quicker then was Levi could, more at ease then Levi as well. Oh well, he supposed this would be one of those... life lessons or something.

The moment he was submerged he spotted where the other was fleeing and he was after him instantly, his long coils coming unbunched and set to moving in a waving motion that made it seem almost as though he were slithering under water, as he pursued his 'prey'. It didn't take long at all for him to catch up, reaching on hand out to grab hold of the ankle of the fish boy and he gave a tug, pulling Guppy back to him, "Bad move, trying to hide from me in the water." He said, tail wrapping around Guppy before he tossed him downward, through the water, crashing him into the sandy bottom of the ocean floor. Guppy gave a grunt, a rush of bubbles escaping his mouth, and he laid there as though stunned.

Levi dove down after him, catching him by the arms, and pinned him to the floor of the ocean, starring down at him through narrowed eyes, "Your dead you know."

Guppy's eyes opened and he blinked up at Leviathan, looking more then a little confused, "H-Huh...? Dead?"

"Yes, dead. If I were an enemy you would already be dead! Fool... you shouldn't allow yourself to be capture so easily!" Leviathan scolded him before going into one of his long, somewhat villainous rants about who the enemy was, that they were always out to get the two of them as well as the other members of Leviathan's army, as well as other things that he was constantly saying. It worried Guppy at times, to know that there were so many dangerous people out there... so many that wanted to get hold of Leviathan to kill him in a manner that sounded as though it would be merciless.. and being that he was Leviathan's servant it seemed that he was on the list of those that were going to be killed along with the Lord of the Ocean were they ever found and captured.

"I will get better." The fish boy murmured, wanting to do just that, not wanting to be weak, not wanting fall behind, or to put the army in danger because he wasn't as strong as the other members were. He seen what General Arlen was capable of, had seen what Leviathan was capable of, and he didn't want to be the weak link, "I will... I promise!"

Leviathan starred down at him for a long moment before releasing him, "You will, I know that... else you will end up getting yourself killed and eaten. I won't abide by it, your birth destroy a rather valuable jewel of mine and your not allowed to die until you replace it. Got it?"

Guppy nodded, pushing himself up off of the ocean floor and shook off all the dirt, "Got it, Lord Leviathan."

"Good, now... best that you get to practicing now. You never know when I am going to test you again." He said, giving his servant a long, hard look before turning around to swim off toward a rocky out cropping was located, obviously after something to eat. The Zora watched him for a long moment as he picked around through the rocks for his meal before turning to head toward the beach, he needed to work on strengthening himself up if he were ever going to be anything more then the low man on the totem pole... and given how easily Leviathan had thrown him around both on land and under the sea he knew it was going to be a long while before he got any promotions.

Scribbling in the Sand

I can't tell if the Fishface will ever be anything more then a useful servant that I can send on various errands and tease. But from time to time, rare occasions mostly, I think I almost see a glimmer of something more in him. I am not sure if he will be worth as much as the jewel he was born from but I would like to think that one day he will be. I can only hope that his reactions are due to being young. Then again when I was young I was far more then he is now... not everyone can be born as I am, the Lord of Ocean.

Still, I would like to believe that the jewel wasn't sacrificed for a servant... I don't expect Sharkbait to become as grand as my General Arlen is but I would like for him to become... something. I don't care if I have to beat the lessons into his head, its something I am more then willing to do if I have to do just that. He might need it... you see my experience and greatness came from having a rather worthless, vagrant bum of a human as my guardian. He has a great guardian, me! I suppose that has spoiled him in a way I wasn't spoiled. I will make him great in my manner of raising a child just as my guardian made me great in his manner. It will go well because I refuse to fail at something that should be easy, if a hobo can raise a child then the Lord of the Ocean can do the same!

Two Princess Invaders

(( Done via AIM with Ceres ))

"Come on it will be lots of fun!" Lucifel chirped as she tugged at her younger sister.

Amelia just stared blankly at her green sister. But in the end she gave in and just followed blindly after her. She wished her sister would tell her where they were going... she really, really hated noisy places and places with a lot of people.

The Songs may have moved out of the cafe but they were still fairly close to the water. It was about fifteen minutes later that the ocean was in view.

There was a good section of beach that seemed to be completely empty even though the beach on either side was full of people who wanted to enjoy the last bit of warm weather before it got cold. There were signs up on each end of the open, empty area that seemed quite threatening, signs that told those who came to this area would get eaten. They weren't the most friendly of signs and something about them, or perhaps something about the one that made them, kept people away effectively.

On that same beach was a rather interesting green fish boy, he was walking along the edge of the water collecting shells. Each shell was inspected carefully and the ones that were imperfect or broken were tossed out of Lord Leviathan's territory and forgotten while the pretty, perfect shells were left in a pile a few steps into the water where Leviathan could find them, to look them over and decide which among them that he wanted for his collection.

Needless to say the Lord of the Oceans as he called himself had become a bit spoiled since he'd obtained his stolen servant and said servant was easily intimidated and as such did all that was needed of him no matter how silly an order might seem...

Lucifel was to notice the green boy, most because she was green herself and there weren't a lot of green people around. Which was fine by her, it meant she was just extra special.

Amelia did notice the green boy but only after she realized that the area he was in was empty. She didn't care what the signs said (she wasn't that good at reading just yet) she wanted to go in that area... where there weren't people.

Lucifel nodded her head when her sister nudged her forward. She had no time to check out those signs (not that she'd noticed them). She giggled and clapped excitedly... She was going to meet another green person... a boy. She wondered for a second why she was the only green girl. Vance was green and he was a boy....

Guppy paused in his shell sorting when he heard people approaching, turning his gaze in their direction before his gaze went to the water and then back again, "Umm... hello." He said before motioning in either direction, "The beach that way or that way is free to the public... I would hate for you to get in trouble for wandering into his territory." He didn't want the two to get in trouble... though then again...

"I supposed that you... might be alright though since your girls." He knew it was his job to attempt to chase them off but at the same times since they were girls it would likely please Leviathan since he seemed to have a weakness for females. Not that Guppy would ever say that out loud since Leviathan would be displeased were anyone to claim that he had a weakness of any sort.

"Hello," Lucifel said as she hopped from one foot to the next before spinning around. "Nice set of sand you have here." ... and 'ooofff' she ungracefully landed on her butt. However, she was quick to be in a fit of giggles.

Amelia just stood there. You could almost swear she'd rolled her eyes. "Hello," she finally said in very soft tones. "Do you have a name?"

Guppy blinked a couple times as the girl spun around only to land on her backside and he took a couple steps toward her, "Are you alright?" He asked, sounding a touch worried. His fins gave a little twitch before he turned to look over his shoulder. He knew that they were being watched now, it seemed every time that Leviathan watched him from under the water that it made his fins twitch... he shook his head then turned to look at the girls again, "Name...? No..." He said, shaking his head, "The closest I have to one is Guppy, what about the two of you?" He asked, curious if either of the two would qualify as the all important 'Princesses' that Lord Leviathan was always seeking out.

Lucifel stood up and brushed the sand from her. She was still in a fit of giggles. "Yep! Just fine!" She said in between breaths. "Name's Lucifel... my dad says I am one lucky gal!" Which was true... everything luck wise always favored her. There wasn't much that didn't go her way or went wrong.

"My name is Lady Amelia Sureal Song," she softly in an almost sing song voice. It was nice for a change not to have to talk over a room full of people. She walked away from them and towards the water.**

The boy nodded to Lucifel, glad to see that she was alright... and that she didn't seem in any way, shape, or form worried either. Lucky, huh? He would love to have some luck himself but he wasn't one to complain though since when he did it always upset his Lord, "I am glad that your alright Lucifel." He said before turning to watch the other girl, after introducing herself the girl with the horn headed toward the water which caused him to call to her, "Be careful over there."

It wasn't due to the fact that she seemed little and was heading toward the water and more because she was heading to the water where there was a dragon laying in wait... he could come lunging out at any moment, something he'd seen Leviathan do time and again when dealing with invaders. He could only hope that Leviathan wouldn't be as mean since the two here were girls, pretty ones at that. Since he had no idea what Leviathan thought was pretty he didn't know if his idea of what was pretty would count.
Amelia turned just enough to look at Guppy. She had a slight absent minded look as if nothing in the world was wrong or could go wrong... at least in her world. Again she looked towards the water. Within the next wave and slight shimmer of the water the girl had vanished. In her place was a short, thick unicorn colt.

Lucifel smacked her face and groaned. She was starting to understand how Tori felt. "Sorry! Just a moment!" She said in more serious tones than previous as she dashed towards the waters edge. The last thing she needed was for her sister to loose her dress...

Guppy gave a jump before he moved a few steps toward the girl that had just turned into a... unicorn? That was unexpected he thought to himself and then felt suddenly worried again. A princess standing in the water was one thing, a plump looking horse was another... surely though Leviathan wouldn't get an idea in his head to eat her? He sure hoped that he wouldn't do something like that... he gave a shake of his head before hurrying forward toward the water the two girls.

Within the water, watching the whole, strange show was Leviathan the self proclaimed 'Lord of the Oceans'. He'd moved forward to the edge of the water, under it still though only because he was laying on the floor of the ocean. He starred at the pair that were playing in the water and then to his servant who seemed to be fretting over them but not really trying hard to chase them off. Likely it was due to them being girls... Not that he minded but he found it a shame that neither of these two were the princess he really wanted to see. Then again there was no way she would be caught dead here or near any other deep water he was certain. The dragon shifted then slid forward, reaching a scaly hand slowly out of the water to reach out to give the pony with the horn a pat on the head.

Amelia stretched her neck just enough to accommodate the hand that was touching her. It was sorta like hay, rough to the touch. Her tail swished behind her spraying the two of them with a soft mist. "It's blue." She nipped at the fingers and whickered the moment she tasted the salt.

Lucifel snatched up the dress just in time before another wave had carried it off. So involved in the article of clothing that she didn't realize the 'dangers' that lurked beneath the waters. With her dry hand she clutched her chest and took a deep breath. "Amelia!" she exclaimed for no particular reason other than 'what the hell'. "No Amelia Guppy isn't blue he's green... like me."

Leviathan had to admit that he was rather... pleased, to have something not bother to scream and run when he reached out was a change. Of course he normally preferred when his damsels were the sort that were in distress but it was a nice change of pace. He slithered forward a bit father, so that he was able to rise up partially out of the water, just his head and shoulders, while the rest of his large form remained hidden, "Are you an interesting looking pony." He murmured, had it not been for the fact that he'd seen her as a princess first he might have considered making a snack out of her, being that she wasn't just some random horse he couldn't do so.

Guppy glanced over at Amelia when he heard an all to familiar voice speaking to her but when he saw that his Lord was only petting the little unicorn he didn't do anything to speak out against him... not that Guppy could do that, ever. He instead turned to look over at Lucifel instead, "I think it should be alright... he seems to like her." And not in the manner that he liked his food either, instead it seemed as though it were just that Leviathan was curious. Then again how often did one see a girl who could turn into a unicorn?

"My name's Amelia," she openly told the blue male with scales. This was her, innocent and naive. Careful of the shifting sands and constant waves she slowly lowered herself into a 'laying' position. The water was cool and aside from the sticking salt it felt really nice. She just hoped that the next wave wouldn't smack her in the face... "What is your name?" She again stretched her neck to make contact with that hand that had reached out moments before.

Lucifel looked from Guppy to her sister and to whoever that was in the water. "So you know him?" She was a bit more than confused but shrugged her shoulders. "Okay then!" She giggled. "If you say so," and she was once more back to her cheerful, carefree self. "So what you want to do?"

Leviathan chuckled when the girl introduced herself, finding it a bit... well amusing to say the least. He watched the way that the little horse creature plopped down near to him in the water, "My name is Leviathan." He told her in a manner that was strangely friendly for him, then again this one was female even in this strange new form of hers. He shifted his tail so that the end of it would loop around, giving him something to lean on in a somewhat lazy manner.

Guppy gave a nod of his head, "I know him." He said, giving his Lord a long glance before he gave a smile, "Want... to do?" He actually looked confused over having someone asking him what he wanted to do. Normally he was just told what to do when it came to Leviathan, "Not... sure. Do you like swimming?" He asked, he was pretty good at it himself so he would see if she wanted to try that out.

"Your name means sea monster, right?" Amelia's ears flickered. "I don't see you as much of one," though it was hard to tell she was smiling. In all of the world she probably saw nothing as a monster except for one creature... the bull. She watched the water as Levi shifted about to make himself more comfortable. "Just how much of you is there?" She asked curiously. It was hard to tell because the shifting made the waters a bit murky.

"I love to swim!" Lucifel dropped her sisters dress in the dry area of the sand. She then kicked off her flip flops and wiggled out of her cover up. It too went with Amelia's dress. "Come on!" She giggled and grabbed Gubby's hand. It only took her seconds, in her excitement, before she was dragging the green boy behind her.

He chuckled, "I don't seem like a monster to you because I don't eat talking ponies." He told her in a teasing manner before he looked down at the part of himself that he was lazing on, "How much? Quite a bit really, lots of coils plus my wings fins." He lifted his fins up out of the water, giving a flap of them before grinning. There was quite a bit of him and when he was in the water he could move in a rather quick and dangerous manner, on the land though he wasn't nearly as fast as he liked so he had to rely on stealth, something he failed at miserably.

Guppy smiled a little as he was pulled along toward the water, as they walked into it he asked her, "Do you... do you wanna try swimming under it?" He asked, "I can show you a trick that would let you." He offer in a shy manner, as though he really wasn't used to dealing with nice, hands on people. Instead just used to the people in Leviathan's group that ordered him about.

"I'm no ordinary pony," Amelia whickered and giggled at the same time. But it came to a sudden halt when Levi started to show parts of himself. There was a look of awe on her face. "You're really something! Very shinny." She finally said after a moments pause. "One day I'll be really, really something," she tossed her head up and down in a mater of fact way. This was her way of showing off. "This is just baby fat... or so they say..." She never really understood why in human form she was as thin as a sapling but as an equine she was bulky.

"I've done underwater for a few seconds at a time," Lucifel admitted. She was always to busy playing with LyLy to really swim. Sure than swam but it was generally only to catch up with the other. "You know how to swim under it real good?" You could tell by the sound in her voice that she was extremely interested in this information. "K! Sounds awesome!" She giggled and clapped.

"Really? What sort of something are you going to be one day?" He asked of her, finding himself a bit curious due to the level of confidence that she had in what she would be one day. A part of him almost wished that she would say that she would be a Princess since that would make his job of going out to find and steal them a lot easier! If only they would all come straight to him and give themselves up he thought before giving a chuckle as she told him that the reason she was round at the moment was due to baby fat.

Guppy glanced over at Leviathan for a moment but seeing he was completely caught up in the pony girl he gave a smile before he reached down to carefully remove one of his many, glittering scales, "Here you go!" He said holding it out to her, "If you stick this to you it will let you breath under water. Secret though, so don't tell. I don't want a bunch of people showing up wanting to steal all my scales." He doubted that would be very pleasant.

"I'll be what I am now only prettier," she said with a shake of her head so that her mane could catch the light just right. "No baby fat. Just sleek, slender, and beautiful. I'll be able to run really, really fast on these four legs of mine... Maybe even out run one of this big jungle cats," she said the last sentence more mater-of-factly than she meant to but she was proud of what she'd become. "I think that is why they gave me the title 'Lady'." Her ears swiveled when she heard her sister step into the water.

"Wow," Lucifel said with a look of awe on her face. She giggled as she flipped it over a couple of times. She was just about to stick it to her when she heard him ask not to tell. This kinda made her feel a little bad. Guppy was being so generous. Feeling that she should do so as well she reached out to touch him. "I'm lucky and as long as you're touching me you're lucky," she whispered hoping that the little green boy would catch on and realize that something good could happen to him at this moment.

He seemed to think on that one for a moment, Lady was a good title but he didn't quite think that was the same title as what a Princess would carry. Their title was 'Your Majesty' wasn't? He gave a thoughtful sound in his throat before asking, "You don't happen to be a pony princess do you?" He asked, surely he wasn't so lucky as to find a real princess that easily, but it was worth at least asking.

Guppy seemed quite delighted that Lucifel seemed to like the scale so much. He couldn't help but to smile, "I... I hope that you find it useful." He murmured in a shy but excited manner. He looked down at the hand that was touching him before smiling, "Lucky, huh? I could use some extra luck to aid me." He murmured. More luck meant one day he might be able to become more then just a servant in Leviathan's army one day. That was the biggest dream the Zora had at the moment.

If any thoughts of wrong doing had run through Levi's mind or had displayed through body motions or sounds Amelia wouldn't have picked up on it. In her 'world' no one could do wrong and thus she saw no wrong. "My sister Victoria tells me all the time that I am a princess," she said it without a second thought. Now whether or not she believed it was true was a different story. She much preferred 'Lady' over 'Princess'. "Are you a Prince or King or something?" She was asking because she was picking up on the fact that he was looking for a Princess or two or three or more...

"Yeah, I'm pretty dang lucky," Lucifel said with a confident smile as she stuck the scale to the right side of her neck. "Perhaps while were swimming we'll find something useful that can help you out." Her friend new Guppy had helped her out so she really, really wanted to help him out. "So what do we do next?" She asked as she gave the green boys hand a squeeze.

Leviathan perked up a bit, "Victoria says this?" He asked, giving a bit of a grin. He would trust her in saying who was and was not a princess he thought to himself, after all that woman had a name that he would associate with someone who would know who was important. He gave a smile, "So you are a princess, that's good to know." He would file away that information for later, for when the princess grew up.

"Me? Yes, I am the Lord of the Oceans." He said, grinning. That title was one that was self bestowed but at the same time he believed wholeheartedly that he was exactly that. After all he was a Leviathan, he was a great sea dragon and already he was slowly taking over this area as his own. The end of his tail wagged in a happy manner, as though just getting to introduce himself as Lord of the Oceans was enough to put him into a good mood.

Guppy gave a smile, "Now we just head into the water, the scale will do the rest." He said in a reassuring manner. It would work as a set of gills would for her, providing her through magical means the ability to breath despite going underwater. So long as Leviathan didn't learn about the ability things should go well enough. That not happening would be all the luck the boy could ask for.

"You know my sister?" Amelia asked as her tailed swished against spraying her backside. She knew that her sister got around a lot and knew a lot of people but she didn't really expect for her sister to know someone that lived in the ocean.

"Please don't think me brazen but a Lord deserves a Lady and not a Princess. You do know that in the history books it is Lord and Lady. King and Queen. Prince and Princess." Out of habit she whickered. "I can be your Lady." Her voice was gentle and a touch on the naive side.

That sounded easy enough. Lucifel did as instructed. Hand in hand she walked them into the water. This was about the calmest she'd been in a very, very long time with the exception of with Lily had, had enough and needed a moment. However, you could tell that she was about ready to explode from containing herself and her need to be hyper.

He gave a nod of his head, "We met once a while back." He explained, thinking on that time. It was one of very few meetings that took place far from his watery realm, back when his guardian had still been dragging him around, before Leviathan took control of his own life and moved into the water to live on his own. At least on his own until he picked up Guppy by accident. Well his item on purpose since he'd stolen it but the person that came from it on accident.

"Is that so? It might be easier to find a lady then a princess, they seemed to be a rather rare species these days. We dragons have an affinity for them and the overwhelming desire to go out and steal them for ourselves but... its proving exceedingly difficult for me to find one to steal." He told the little pony before laughing, "Is that so? You would volunteer? Its pretty noble of you to offer yourself up to become my Lady." It was worth consideration though if nothing else. He found it a little amusing that the ones he found himself liking most when it came to his Ladies that they had hooves. Or at least this one did in this form.

Guppy followed along after her, out into the deeper water. He wasn't worried in the least since he swam here all the time and having Leviathan around meant that nothing dangerous dared to enter his section of the water as it would see as though everything knew that coming into his territory meant that he might eat it. Even a shark that had come into this area had been turned into food. Then again it had been a smaller scale version of a shark then those that Guppy had seen from a distance. Once the water was deep enough he went under and awaited his new companion beneath the ocean's surface.

"If you like I can tell her you said hello and perhaps next time she can come with me when I come to see you. That is if you want to see me again," it was in her features that she was smiling.

"Yes I'd volunteer. I like you. Go on ahead and search all you want for that perfect princess but never will you find one that can compare to me. You know they say that all Unicorns are of noble birth and that we are some of the purist creatures." Her ears flickered. "There isn't a princess out there that can say she is as pure as me." It was at that moment that she looked him the eyes. Her eyes were large and held innocence and wonderment in them. It was also easy to tell just how naive she was. She didn't care if she came from some DVD she was what she was.

Lucifel who wasn't water equipped past the gifted scale took her time. She was sure that if she had had fins it would probably have been a lot easier. However, she was making due with what she had and was doing her best to quickly catch up with Guppy who had let go of her hand. About mid way she stopped just to stare. It was almost hard to grasp that there was an something like an entirely different world down her. "WOW!"

Leviathan seemed to debate over this for a long moment before slowly nodding his head, "Sure, tell her I said 'Hello'," It wouldn't be to bad were that cute redhead to decide to come visit he thought to himself, the end of his tail swishing a bit before he looked over at Amelia and then starred at her for a long moment then nodded slowly, "Sure, I never said that I didn't want you to come and visit me again." In fact given that she was a lady of sorts, even if she was a little one shaped like a pony, he was still inclined to favoring her. It helped that she seemed to know a lot about unicorns and was able to hype them up enough that it made Leviathan rather like the idea of being able to have one all his own.

Guppy looked over to where Lucifel was and smiled a bit when it seemed that she was enjoying the ability to go underwater in such a fashion. He swam over to her, making a circle around her before pointing, "Near to here is a good place to collect pretty shells if you want to go and look." He said, "There are some clams as well that sometimes have pearls, maybe your luck will help you find one." He suggested the course of action if she wanted to do more then just swim around.

Amelia let out a giggle that sound more like a whinny. She was actually delighted that Levi had taken to her. She stood up and shook. For her size, the water spray wasn't able to go far. Despite the on coming waves she took a couple of steps forward in an attempt to get closer to Levi. There wasn't any reason to have a considerable bit of difference between them... after all she wasn't scared.

Lucifel liked shells. She wasn't sure about the pearls... she knew they were expensive. She thought of her Lily. Almost sure her Lily would like a pearl or a pretty shell or both she nodded her head and clapped. She was all for this 'hunt'. "My luck has never failed me. I'm sure we'll find you a pretty shell or pearl as well."

The sea serpent shifted slightly so that he could get a better look at Amelia, watching her as she approached in a careful manner as he didn't want to see her get swept up in the waves. He wouldn't claim to be the nicest person in the world but when he decided that he liked someone he would look after them. Amelia was one he'd decided that he liked, as such he would keep the ocean from taking what was his. He lifted himself up on his coils to watch the girl then smiled at her, "Be careful now, don't want to see a wave try to snag you." He warned her, not that he thought that this section of water would be daring enough to try to steal from him since it was part of his territory.

Guppy smiled before he started forward to where the rocky outcropping was, he didn't think that Leviathan would mind him giving away one shell if he made sure to find something good for his Lord in exchange. It would have to be something good though, a really pretty shell or a nicely formed pearl. Either way he had to find some sort of offering to give to him... it would be worth it though, and the possible scolding, to be allowed to hang out with someone as nice as Lucifel was, "Here, right around in this area." He said as he reached the rocky area first and waited for the green haired girl to catch up.

In her features it showed that Amelia was touched that someone other than family cared about her. She got a warm fuzzy feeling from it. She was half tempted to look back and see if her sister was still about and was okay but decided against it. Her sister was older and had a knack for taking care of herself... besides she was was to hyper. "I promise to be careful," she said as she tucked her legs under her so that she could return to her previous position. Being close enough to touch the serpent made her feel safe and secure. Now that she was closer she could see how beautiful and shiny he really was. Had she had hands she'd have reached out to touch him. "You're gorgeous," she only know the later word because of Tori. Her ears flickered.

Lucifel didn't waste any time in following Guppy. She amazed at how well he knew this area, but didn't express it... because it was quiet silly... after all he probably swam often in this area of the ocean. As she came up beside him she could already see the pretty collection of shells. It was almost unnatural how they were all gathered her, but she didn't question. It was beautiful and she happy to be here. "This place is really something," she finally said after a moment of taking it all in. "Do you generally have luck finding pretty shells or pearls?"

Watching the manner in which the unicorn laid down in the water closer to him Leviathan shifted his coils once more so that they made a loop around her, creating a bit of a protective barrier between her and the rest of the ocean. He was a bit glad that his General wasn't around today or else he might end up looking a touch foolish protecting a little pony in such a manner, given that the only one around seemed to be busy and not much of a threat anyway the sea dragon was able to relax despite the fact that he was lounging with such a creature.
Upon being complimented Levi's lips turned up into a bit of a grin, "I am glad you agree." He said, not one to think anything but exactly that about himself. Narsassitic? Maybe a little...

Guppy looked at the gathering of shells that Lucifel found, starring at them wide eyed, then looked over at her and shook his head, "No luck... though when I do find pretty shells they go to Leviathan since he is the Lord of this section of ocean." He explained, knowing that if he found something and tried to keep it that the Sea Lord wouldn't be to terribly happy. Besides if it meant rising in the ranks of Leviathan's army and becoming more then just a servant he didn't mind giving the dragon all the treasures he found.

Amelia let out a content sigh. Now that Levi's coils were around her and kept the waves off of her she could more enjoy the water. She was so small that it was easy to get hit by the smallest wave. Her ears flickered when she felt the ocean breeze. Yes, she could easily repeat today day after day after day. "What do you do all day?" She asked curiously before she got caught up in being comfortable.

Lucifel crossed her arms, but kept kicking her legs every so often to 'stay put'. "Really! Guppy that is just silly. If you give everything away then you have nothing for yourself... Surely you must have at least one shell." She uncrossed her arms and swam towards the pile. "If I find three then we can each have one," she said with a nod of her head. Though her shell would go to LyLy.

He shifted so that he was laying on his back next to his ring of coils, arms crossed behind his head and he seemed to think about the question for a moment, "Normal dragon things, I hunt, find treasure, patrol my territory, steal princesses, get into battles, and laze in the sun with my General." He said, his wing fins giving a lazy little flap in the water. He was comfortable at the moment and saw no need to move, especially given he had some interesting company to talk with. It was turning out to be a good day.

Guppy flushed a little before following along after her, looking at the shells that she found before giving a smile, "If you think so." Aside from the jewelry and the small weapon he came with Guppy had nothing else of his own, didn't really want anything that he could think of. In fact he was rather content with just trying to get stronger and prove himself to Leviathan. At the same time a shell gifted to him from a girl would be nice.

Two Princess Invaders: Part Two

"Normal dragon things," Amelia said aloud although it was more something she was rolling around in her head. "My parents were born dragons... my mum had a run in with a vampire and she later turned my dad... but they are hardly anything like you. Perhaps it is because you are of the sea or have no children." She was simply trying to put together what made a dragon a dragon. "I spend most of my time in the stables with the Equines or else among the bushes searching for butterflies. My sisters keep insisting that I need to get out and meet people." She whickered that little giggle of hers.

Lucifel nodded her head. Of course that is what she thought. Guppy should have at least on thing of his own, even if it was a shell. She was careful as she shifted around the beautiful shells. She was not exactly sure what she looking for but she knew she'd be sure the moment she saw it. After this, she would look for a pearl or two. "Do you have a favorite color?"

He thought on that one for a moment a dragon that had a run in with a vampire, he debated that for a moment as he was always interested in new ways of gaining power before he shook his head. It wasn't a path that he had interest in though, he knew of vampires from what he'd heard of them and they had to many weaknesses that he didn't wish to take on. He would find his own path and his own power, "It could be, the sea dragons aren't to different though from the regular dragons. The biggest difference is just where we live after all."

Guppy looked down at the shells that she was looking through, smiled as he inspected them, and then seemed to think it over, "Anything but pink." He said, his pink fins giving a twitch as he spoke. It was because of Leviathan's teasing over the color of his fins that made him dislike the color a bit, made him wish his fins were a different color as well, "If... If I had a favorite maybe blue, green, or gold." He added after a bit of thought.

Amelia nodded her head. Dragons were just like any other creature or person... they were what they were. She was content with that. Out of the corner of her eye she saw something sitting on the sand just below the water. It was white and reminded her a lot of her own horn. Carefully she dipped her muzzle into the water and with her teeth gripped the shell. In hopes of getting a better look at the shell she crossed her eyes.

"Alright then, no pink," Lucifel said with a nod of her head. It took her a bit to learn how to swim in place as she picked carefully through the pile of shells. They were all equally as pretty... but, she didn't just want to pick anything. She wanted to pick shells that somehow related to the person she was going to give them to. Finally she had three. She swam back over to Guppy and held out her open hands to show off the shells. She was all smiles about her finds.

Leviathan was lazing so he really didn't realize that the unicorn was up to anything until he felt the shifting she did in the water as slight as it was. He twitched then lifted up a little bit to see what she was doing, "You don't want to drink that." He warned her, knowing that land goers seemed to be turned off by the taste of salt that was heavy in the water. It didn't bother him or the fish brain servant of his but then again he supposed they were water based being so such things were bound not to bother them.

He watched the way that Lucifel looked for shells before he started to look around himself, turning over a couple rocks, poking around through the sand, and found a couple that he hoped would be good enough offerings to Leviathan that he wouldn't mind the fact that Guppy had wandered off to play with the green haired girl. Given how much the Dragon Lord seemed to love his princesses surely he would understand? Guppy could only hope so. His attention lifted from the shells he held in his hand and over to Lucifel when she came back over to him and he gave a smile seeing the prizes she held in her hands, "They are very nice." He murmured, leaning in to get a closer look at them.

Amelia who wasn't getting that good of a look uncrossed her eyes and just blinked. Not only did she blink because of that but because of Levi's comment about salt water. She'd never really tried anything salty. She rolled the salty shell around in her mouth for a moment. "Wow!" She whickered and took an actual lick at the water, the shell dropping back into the water. Though she liked the taste she'd lost her shell. She snorted and plunged her muzzle back into the water to get that shell. It was a pretty shell and she had decided she wanted to give it to Levi.

"This one is for you," Lucifel said as she held out the seashell that resembled an eye. "You keep an eye on everything it is time the ocean do the same for you," she smiled. Though it probably sounded cornier than it should have she really meant it. "This one is for Levi, it's pointy... I figured he'd like something like that," she held up his shell. "And, this one is for me," she showed the green one off. "You said something about pearls.... I can try and find you a few for you and Levi," she said with a nod of her. She was always this fast moving.

Levi couldn't help but to stare, eyes wide, as the unicorn dropped the shell that she was playing with to actually take a taste of the water of her own accord despite his warning... and much to his surprise she seemed to actually enjoy the salty taste of the ocean. That was interesting, not something he'd seen before and he had to admit that it got her a few bonus points in his mind. That she would actually look happy over getting to taste sea water, especially from his section of the beach, made him happy for some strange reason.

"I am glad to see that its to your liking." He said, watching as she went rooting around once more for the shell that she'd dropped.

Guppy starred at the shell that was held out to him and he reached out slowly to take it from her, starring at it in surprised, "W-Wow... t-thank you." He murmured, running his thumb over the item in his hand in delight. It really was kind of her to give him such a wonderful present, especially one that had such an interesting story to it. Giving a smile he hugged it to his chest, "Thank you, Lucifel. Its very kind of you to give me such a wondrous gift."

"Ah Ha," she whinnied as she had the shell once more between her teeth. The taste of the salt not bothering her at all. She actually was purposely trying to get the taste as much as possible without being obvious about it. She stood up and gracefully as one could in water she took a couple steps towards Levi. She was careful in how she nudged him. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt her friend. "For you," she said as her ears flickered.

Lucifel hugged her new friend. It was a bit awkward in water but she was sure the point would be conveyed. "You're welcome," she giggled. "But, really I should thank you... you didn't have to bring me here."

"Come on lets try and find a few pearls," she took his head and tugged him towards some rocks.

Leviathan watched as the unicorn played in the water before relaxing once more. If she wanted to play in the water and taste the water he supposed he should bother her, instead he just rested. Until he felt the girl rising up on her little hooves and he turned to look over at the girl again, eyes on her, "Hrm?" He looked at the shell that she was holding before he reached a hand out to take the sharp item from the girl's hand, looking it over. What a nice shell, what a pretty shell and one that looked as though it could double as a weapon, "Excellent find." He said, looking it over.

Guppy ran his thumb over the shell before he followed along after Lucifel toward where the rocks were, where a bunch of various shellfish hung out, "The clams here are really tasty." He murmured, looking around for them, "Leviathan doesn't eat a lot of them though since they make pearls but a few here and there, his favorite things to eat though are things that fight with him first. Things like sharks or lobsters, dangerous animals."

Amelia pranced in step. It was easy to tell she was not only happy but proud. She stopped suddenly stopped when she realized she was splashing and making such a fuss. "Oppps," she giggle, whickered as her ears flickered. "I liked it because it reminded me of my horn," she tossed her head up and down agreeing with her own words.

Deep down Amelia was amazed at how free spirited she could be around Levi. She didn't open up like this to much of anyone not even her parents. She usually stayed well contained and pretty much emotionless.

"He likes to eat things that fight with him?" Lucifel questioned what Guppy had said. She really didn't want an answer. "Sounds like he's pretty primitive. Then again there are a lot of people that have to do just that."

Lucifel ran her fingers over the tops of the clams. She'd never dealt with clams before. She wondered how to open them without damaging them... or else get them to spit the pearl out. "My uncle runs a Cafe and does things with clams... never tried them though," she said as she continued to inspect the clam bed.

Leviathan's eyes instantly went to the girl's horn so that he could compare the two items before he nodded his head, "That's true, isn't it? Makes this shell more interesting then." He said as he flipped it over in his hand to look it over. Not only was it interesting and sharp it was also perfect, no chips or scratches to speak of, "High quality treasures like this belong in my horde." He told the unicorn girl, deciding that he would add this to the other things he'd found in his lifetime later, once his guest headed for home.

Guppy nodded, "He likes to... how was it he puts it 'hone his skills'. He is always training to battle against his various enemies after all." He had yet to see any of his Master's enemies but he was sure that they would show up eventually. When they did Guppy was sure that the water dragon would be happy about all his training when he defeated... whatever came their way. The fish boy reached over to pick one up, drawing the dagger he carried at his side and set to work carefully prying the creature open to peek inside, "Hrm... nothing." He murmured, then looked over to her, "You probably eat your food cooked?" He asked of her.

"I'm glade you like it," Amelia said. She carefully took a couple of steps back, and within a blink there stood a little girl. All of her hair covering up any and all girly bits. "Should have thought about doing this sooner. Would have made picking that shell up a lot easier... probably not as entertaining to watch though," she giggled and waved innocently before rocking back and forth on her heals.

"My sister, Tori, trains a lot... But, I don't know if it is for the same reason or not. She is very good with her daggers," Lucifel said as she watched Guppy open the shell. Well she certainly didn't have a dagger. She decided that she'd just pick the clams and let him open them. "Here, try this one," she said with a nod of her head... it was clear she was fairly sure of her choice.

"Yes, I like my food cooked. But, some of my favorite things are green! Like broccoli and other veggies."

Leviathan seemed more then a little surprised when the girl seemed to turn from horse to girl in a snap, something that had him starring for a moment until he realized she was without clothing and he looked away quickly. Were she older he would be more then happy to stare and without bothering with that bothersome blinking thing that would get in the way, because she was this age though he didn't look her way, instead scanned around for the girl that she'd come here with, "Odd... where did Fishhead and that girl go..." He muttered to himself before he lifted up onto his coils so that he was standing up, rising up much taller then Amelia and seemed to be looking around for something, anything to wrap the girl up with.

"She is? I should try to get training from her... mine I mostly use for a tool." He said, looking from side to side then whispered, "I don't actually like fighting much but... well Leviathan does and if I don't get strong I won't really be a useful asset to his army." He nodded, then put his clam back down on the ground before taking the one that Lucifel offered to him. He looked it over before he set to prying it open next, "Ohhh, look at that. You win a prize." He said, reaching carefully inside to take the pearl from the clam. When he was done he put it back down and held the item out to Lucifel.

Amelia stood there looking rather dumb founded. She didn't understand the sudden change in Levi at all. "If you prefer a unicorn rather than a girl I can shift back," she said softly. "I just wanted to rest up against you and my legs were starting to shake from 'sitting' for so long." She stood there perfectly still and unmoved by the waves.

"My sister is all over the place. You'll have a hard time finding her because she's always into everything and up to something," she said with a soft sigh. "And, she's suppose to be watching over me," she giggled.

Lucifel wrapped Guppy's fingers around the pearl. "No you keep it for him... I know if means a lot to you to be something to him," she smiled. She looked away from him long enough to scan the clam bed again. "Let's see if we can find him one more!"

He gave a laugh, "Its not that, if your in a girl form its best we find you something wear." He told, he told her, surely she hadn't come here without them so that meant they had to be around somewhere, "Once we find you something to wear we can laze around in the warm sand for awhile if you like." He softened lazed in the sand when he wanted to warm up since it held the heat of the sun quite well.

His eyes got a bit wide, "Are you... you sure?" He asked of her, it was a really nice pearl and he didn't want to take it away from her when it had been her that had found it. Still... it would be a good offering to Leviathan and make up for the fact that he'd gone off to play while leaving Leviathan with the other girl. He wondered if the sea dragon ever dealt with anyone that age before... it caused him a touch of worry but surely he wouldn't eat her just because she had an animal form? He hoped not...

Amelia's mouth formed an 'o'. "That's just silly," she said with a giggle. "Clothes should be optional," she shrugged her shoulders and turned to face where the sand was. "Lounging in the sand sounds wonderful. It will help me dry off a bit," she giggled. Her ears flickered and then without any notice she started walking out of the water and towards the direction of where her sister had dropped her dress. She never exactly knew where things were or how to describe where things were. It was just a knack of knowing.

"I am very sure," Lucifel said as she picked up a couple more clams. She looked down at the green shell she'd been holding and smiled. She had all she wanted. She was very sure her LyLy would love it... she half wondered if she should have gathered a few other shells for her family... but in the end she decided not to. She didn't want to take too much.

"If you're really wanting to learn how to use that thing I can ask my sister to help you out," she said as she pointed to his tool. "But it will be a bit before she can..."

Leviathan gave a laugh, "I agree completely... but then again I have never had to worry about clothing myself. I would like to see all my princess adopt that clothing optional rule of yours though, once they are old enough at least." There were a few he would most certainly be happy to take up that sort of rule he thought to himself as he thought about it for a moment, a somewhat dreamy look appearing on his face before he slithered his way out of the water and onto the warm sands of the beach. He lowered himself down on the sand as he watched Amelia as she went to fetch her dress before he stretched out in the sand on his back, wing fins opened up wide to absorb more sun and warmth into them.

Guppy gave a happy sound as he tucked the pearl away under one of his scales were it would be safe for now, then his attention went back to the other clams that she found so that he could set to work prying them open for Lucifel , "Oh? Is she busy now?" He asked, wondering what might keep her sister from helping out for a bit. He didn't mean to be overly curious it was just something he found himself wondering about with the way that the green haired girl had said it.

With her dress on Amelia plopped into a section of sand that was very close to Levi. Not caring that he was wet she leaned against him... she was wet herself from 'playing' in the water. "Perhaps you'll get your wish one day..." she said with a small giggle. She was oblivious to his intentions when it came to wanting a princess naked. She turned her head just enough that she could get a better look at him. "You're long," she grinned as she pulled her dripping hair so that it was only over one shoulder.

Lucifel was still fascinated how Guppy could work the tool to get into the clams. "Not busy, will be though," she giggled. "My sister is pregnant... bit hard to do fancy moves an such when she is... how does she put it..." she took a moment to think. "... as big as a house." She nodded her head and giggled some more.

Levi shifted his coils to slid them around Amelia in a manner that said to anyone around to stay away from the girl. It was a somewhat possessive thing but that was how he was when it came to the things that he liked. Levi shifted his arms to cross them under his head before letting his eyes closed, "I am, it makes me a little to slow on the ground but in the water I am quite fast." He told her, it was why he took people like General Arlen into his army.

Guppy's eyes went wide and he nearly dropped what he was holding at the mention of why her sister was busy, "P-Pregnant? Really?" That was surprising... he wouldn't have never guessed at that being why the sister was busy. He seemed to fall into his thoughts for a moment, trying to picture a woman who was as big as a house before shaking his head, "Wow... she sounds very huge..." He murmured, then popped open one of the clams and held it out to her.

There were very few moments when Amelia felt truly safe. One of those moments was when she was in the stables surrounded by others that were similar to her... and now when Levi had wrapped his coils in just a way. She let out a soft whinny. "That sounds like my uncle Rhine... he's a water dragon," she grinned. "Today has been perfect."

"She is very self aware of her figure..." Lucifel said was she looked into the pried open clam. The pearl was tiny and hardly worth the 'harvest'. She closed the little guy back up and placed him back in the clam bed.

Levi opened one gleaming eye to look over at the girl for a moment, looking curious at the mention of the one called 'Rhine' as he had never met another dragon before. He gave a smile and a nod, "Your uncle sounds interesting." He told the little girl before he let his eyes close once more, relaxing all over, "I agree its been a pretty good day so far." He couldn't say perfect since his idea of perfect was pretty strange and involved fighting and winning battles against his enemies but still, it wasn't bad. If noting else he'd gotten himself a unicorn.

"I understand, I won't comment if I happen to cross paths with her." He said with a smile, his fins giving a little twitch before he smiled and set to work on opening up the next clam. Once it was opened up he looked inside and then held it out to Lucifel, it was bigger then the last one though not as big as the first one that she had given to him to give to Leviathan. He smiled, "I've never seen a pregnant person before." He commented, he wondered what it might be like for females having to deal with such a strange occurrence.

Amelia stretched out and slid a bit down as she made herself even more comfortable. The tip of her tail occasionally rising and falling, oddly there was a rhythm to it if you paid attention. "What makes your day perfect?" She questioned. She knew what he did in a day but that didn't mean that, that was what made him happy.

"I'd never seen a pregnant person either," Lucifel giggled. She looked at the pearl. Bigger than the last one but still not good enough... she just knew this. She closed the little clam up and returned him to the clam bed. "It's hard to offend my sister... or it use to be," she grinned shyly as if giving it away that she'd found out the hard way.

He seemed to think about that for a moment, "A ground shaking battle against a knight that I get to defeat in the end." He said, giving a bit of a grin at the thought. That would be the best day in the world he thought to himself, tail swishing in delight. He wished that more of them would show up here so that he could deal with them with his own special brand of punishment. It seemed it would need to steal more princesses if he wanted more battles though, like the time he accidentally grabbed a false princess. At least that had brought a knight in delight the fact that the one he took wasn't a princess. Fun times.

He found himself almost wishing to see the pregnant, big as a house woman, but decided that it likely wasn't a good idea to go out seeking her out. Instead he would just stick to his mental images instead, "That's good at least." He said, looking around for a moment before he turned around to face the beach, "Do we want to go back? To check on the little girl who was with you?" Leviathan was no longer anywhere to be seen which meant that he'd left the water, something that worried him just a bit.

"So then you wish to be the knight," Amelia said as she stretched and unintentionally yawned. The sun was warm, and it felt really good against her skin. Her ears flickered to keep the nearly invisible bugs from landing anywhere near her face. "That way you get to go home victorious with a princess slung over your shoulder," she giggled.

"You sure one pretty shell and a pearl is enough?" Lucifel asked as she looked down at her hands, and her shell. She was starting to look like a prune... and there was always tomorrow or another day that she could come back and spend time with her friend. "If it is then yes we should check on her... she is naive."

Levi gave a pout, "Naw, I'm happy being the dragon. Its our job to defeat knights after all." He told her, it was something different and far more important if you asked him, after all there were plenty of foolish humans out there but not nearly enough dragons. He shifted slightly so that he could look over at Amelia, "But that last part, that sounds like a great idea. I should toss more of them over my shoulder and head for my lair... once I get one that is." He would kill for a lair... literally.

He nodded his head rapidly, "It is far more then enough." He said, he had so little of his own so he was actually quite taken by the gifts, excited that he'd met someone so nice today! He gave a pleased sound before he looked over at her, "I am more then pleased with these wonderful gifts." He moved forward toward the shore, peeking his head up over the surface of water toward where Levi was lounging with his coils wrapped around where Amelia was sitting. At least they seemed to be getting along? Better then him having made a snack of the unicorn girl he thought to himself before looking at Lucifel, "She looks alright, that's good."

"If you have obtained all of this," she motioned to the open area with her hands, "then why can you not have a lair?" She smiled as she ran a soft hand over the scales of his that she could reach. If she had what he wanted she would have offered it to him. She really liked this blue dragon a lot. It may have seemed a strange pair... but, it worked. "I'm sure before your life times up you'll have had more than your fair share of Princess." Not that she knew what he'd do with them...

"Seems that way," Lucifel said with a pleased smile on her face. "My sister is so quiet and soft spoken that she has very few friends. It doesn't help that she'd much rather be in the stables than out and about," she giggled. "Shall we take his gifts to him?" She was all for helping her friend and she knew her luck would go a long way in the grand scheme of things... Especially when it came to presenting the gifts. Besides she owed him a thank you for 'watching' her sister.

"It seems to be the one thing I am having a hard time finding, I am moving farther out into deeper waters in search of a good lair but if I go to deep then I won't be able to bring my princess there." He said, giving a little sighing sound. It was a shame that he couldn't bring them into his watery world very easily, "Once I find a lair closer to the shore I will be taking it over and moving my treasures into it." He sounded somewhat eager about it, the end of his tail wagging. He just couldn't wait until he had a place to hide his things, bring his princesses, his trophies. It would be wonderful, "So actually I want to change my answer, my perfect day will be when I find my lair."

Guppy smiled, "I am glad then that she is making friends with Lord Leviathan, its not often that he is so nice to people. I wonder what it is about her that has drawn his attention to her and caused him to be so nice." He murmured, wondering what it was that kept her with him and made him be so kind. There must be something magical about the girl he thought to himself before he started forward, out of the water and over toward where the two were lounging.

Leviathan looked up from Amelia, over at Lucifel and Guppy, "Your back." He said to the pair of them, tail swishing at the end, "I do hope you both had fun... doing whatever it was you were doing?" He asked of the pair, getting a rapid nod from Guppy who fell silent in the presence of his Lord.

Two Princess Invaders: Part Three

Amelia in all honesty was going to comment on Levi and his lair ordeals but then her sister took center stage all over again... There was something between a humph and a whicker. It wasn't that she was typically a jealous person, it was just that Lucifel was there in your face all the dang time. There wasn't a moment that you didn't know she was there when she was there. Her ears flickered as she looked towards her sister... Yes, she much preferred Tori.

Lucifel of course didn't notice anything different of her sister. She knew her sister to be quiet and shy and hardly out going... unless of course it involved butterflies or other equines. "Go on," she whispered as she gently nudged Guppy. They after all hadn't worked so hard while having so much fun for nothing... she did after all set out to help please Levi on Guppy's behalf. Her hand remained tightly wrapped around her own shell, the one she refused to give up because she was going to give it to her LyLy.

Leviathan heard the sound that Amelia made in her throat and he couldn't help but to give a bit of a chuckle, finding it rather... amusing. His attention was on her for only a moment before he looked back to Guppy and his green haired companion. Normally he would be all for trying to steal the girl as his own but oddly enough he didn't moved to much and felt no urge to do so since he had his unicorn.

Guppy looked over at Lucifel as he got nudged forward before he reached under his scale to fetch the pearl he'd tucked there, the one that Lucifel had found before he held it out to Lord Leviathan. He was completely silent as the sea dragon looked the item that was being held out to himself before he finally reached out to take it from him, looking it over and nodded his approval which drew a sighing sound of relief from Guppy. He took a step back, "We found a couple shells... is it... is it alright for Lucifel to keep them?" He asked uncertainly.

Leviathan looked his pearl over before he turned to look at the green haired girl thoughtfully then nodded, "I suppose that would be alright since you brought me this gift." He said after a long, drawn out moment of debate. He supposed a couple of shells would be alright since he got a better treasure in return.

Amelia felt a slight bit of hurt. She couldn't help but to feel her sister was trying to out do her. These were not feelings that she generally felt or expressed. For the most part she remained oblivious to anything but good and happy. She looked towards the sea oats just in time to see a butterfly. Smiling, she stretched out her hands. The butterfly taking to the offer flew from the oats to her hand. She hummed softly and let this be 'her world' until her new friend Levi was finished with her sister.

Lucifel did her best to not roll her eyes. Her luck was as natural as breathing to her so it wasn't as if she had to work all that hard to find the pearl or the shells but, still... She didn't say anything about her shell or Guppy's but she did search around for the one that she was going to give Levi. And, after a moment she held it out. "Here," she said. Her voice held a tone that said she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Leviathan sat up a bit when another gift, a shell this time, was offered to him. It was an interesting shell but he had to admit the one the unicorn gave him was likely his favorite since it looked like something that could be dangerous and used for something more then just looking pretty. Nevertheless he still accepted the one that Lucifel gave him since he was weak to the giving of gifts, "Thank you." He said, looking it over before he gave a grin. What a good day, to get a whole bunch of gifts as well as his own unicorn! It was easy to tell from the look on his face that he was in a very good mood.

"The sun will set soon. We have a bit of a walk ahead of us," Amelia said softly as she looked away from the butterfly and towards Levi, Guppy, and her sister. "Our daddy will be displeased if we miss curfew."

Lucifel had indeed lost track of time while swimming with Guppy. She was a little glad that her sister point this out to her. She turned and hugged her new green friend. On land she had more force than in the water, and she nearly knocked them over in her excitement.

Amelia held out her hand to Levi so that he could see the butterfly. She let out a happy little whinny. "Another sunny day?" She asked in regards to coming again.

Leviathan was a touch disappointed to hear those words though he figured they would be leaving eventually, that she sounded like she wanted to come back again though perked him up though, "I would like that, the next time its sunny you should come and visit me again." He told her, lifting one scaly hand to ruffle her hair before his attention turned to Guppy who was nearly being knocked over by the over exuberant girl before giving a chuckle. He rose up on his coils and helped Amelia up to he feet, "I look forward to it so don't forget."

Guppy could only stare, shocked, as he found himself swept up into such a hug. It was rather nice he thought to himself, fins wiggling happily, "It was nice swimming with you." He said, returning the hug before he stepped back away from her and smiled, "I hope we can do it again sometime."

Something about having her hair ruffled made her rub against his hand, she was mindful of her horn. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt Levi. It was almost like being scratched just behind the ears. She whickered happily and all too soon it was over, but she didn't pout because he was helping her up. "I won't forget," Amelia whispered as she looked him in the eyes.

"Lots of fun!" Lucifel clapped and giggled. "I'd love to come swimming again!" It was a heck of a lot easier to tell just how hyper she was not that they weren't swimming. There was certainly nothing calm about the green girl. "Come on Amelia," she said as she reached out for her sisters hand.

Amelia gave it the once over and shook her head. Within the next couple of steps she was a unicorn, prancing merrily in the sand. She was rather proud of herself to have gotten the better of her sister. She looked behind her and winked at Levi.

"Oh no you didn't," Lucifel groaned and ran to catch up with her sister... completely forgetting about her sisters dress.

Leviathan watched as the unicorn girl assured him that she wouldn't forget before turning around to head on her way with her sister and much to his amusement she seemed to walk out of her dress in the unicorn shape again which caused him to chuckle, "She really was a wonderful find." He murmured, glancing over at Guppy for a long moment before he crossed his arms over his chest, "You had better of enjoyed yourself as you are going to have a lot of work today to make up for spending so much time playing." He scolded his servant.

Instantly the fish boy was nodding his head, not about to argue that Leviathan had been preoccupied as well with the unicorn girl as he knew that arguing with Leviathan in any matter was about the same as arguing with a brick wall, it just didn't work and it was a waste of time. Better that he get a jump on the chores that he was going to be assigned today instead since he was certain that they were going to be hard and likely mind numbing since the Ocean Lord always had the most fun assigning that sort to him.

Journal Entry in the Sand

I believe that I have taken another step in the right direction toward being an all powerful dragon! Along with my Deer Princess Tyyne I have picked up something quite amazing, I have my own unicorn! Isn't that excellent? A cute little thing by the name of Amelia that volunteered to be mine! More princesses need to be so easy to capture and keep.

She also told me how she wished that clothing was an optional thing, were she older I would have told her that she could feel free to stripe. A shame she is so young, I don't have quite enough luck that someone like my Deer Princess would consider such a thing... that would be a wonderful day, believe me. Talk with the unicorn also reminded me, I am still without a real lair. I mean to fix this very, very soon! I will not be without a lair forever, I need one to be a proper dragon, damn it! So that is one of the next things on my list to get my hands on.

That and my Deer Princess, heh.

Scribbling in the Sand

So I have decided that I need to test Fishbrain a little bit, to see if he is any good at making decisions for himself as well as following an order that I gave to him. It was a slightly vague one and I am eager to see how he goes about it. I gave him some various items that we salvaged from the depths of the ocean, things that would have some value to the humans for various reasons. He is currently taking those items into town to the pawn shop, to sell them for the best price that he is able to get for them.

That isn't the test mind you, he'd done that chore already on a few occasions because it would appear that he is pretty savvy when it comes to negotiating prices. That skill of his makes him quite useful to me but its not what is most important today. What is important is that I charged him with the task of finding a gift for the Deer Princess Tyyne. I am rather eager to see what he decides is a worthy gift for my princess, after all so long as she is mine she is far above the little fish headed servant in rank as the rest of the members of my army are. He is then in essence trying to impress two of his betters with one gift.

No matter how you look at it this can only go one of two ways, really bad or really well, there is no middle ground when it comes to finding the perfect gift if you ask me. I suppose we will see though. I sent him off some time ago so I that means he will be returning soon, likely before the sun sets.

Guppy Returns Successful?

Guppy had returned back to the beach with the green pendant in hand that was meant for the deer princess along with the cash that was left over after he'd bought it. It was a pretty thing, he was pretty certain that it was some sort of stone or another, nothing really expensive but it was natural and really pretty! He hoped that, because it was green, that it would be something that the deer princess would like. He couldn't say that he knew any princess or any deer so he had no idea what things that either might enjoy... it was a guess on the part of the Zora but he hoped that it was a guess that would end up right. So long as Lord Leviathan approved he would be happy, even more so if it turned out that it was something the princess enjoyed.

As he stepped into Leviathan's territory he nearly sighed in relief as he much preferred the feel of the sand under his fin feet, far better then the rough concrete he'd had to deal with on the way here that was for sure. He trudged across the beach and toward the sparkling water that was reflecting the sun that was over head and he couldn't help but to want to just flop over into it and lay there for a while, enjoying the cool water. As he got to the edge of the ocean though, just as he had almost expected, Leviathan surfaced and came over toward him, "Your looking rough around the edge Shark Bait." He said in that friendly sort of tone that that he always used when there was something that Guppy had that he wanted.

The Zora starred up at him for a long moment before he lifted up his hands to present the pendant to him, "This is what I found for your Deer Princess." He said with a bit of a smile, "Since deer are forest creatures I was thinking maybe she would like something green." He told the sea dragon before he stood there, awaiting the verdict to come down from on high.

Leviathan's scaly hand reached out to snag the item, lifting it up to look it over, sniffing at it, and seemed to be determining what it was exactly. It was real, that was good, a rather nice and flawless stone that was carved into an interesting sort of design. He had no idea what the pattern might stand for but it was something that looked pretty enough. The cord that it was on was a simple one made of some sort of cloth or another, nothing fancy but still not to bad. As much as he hated to admit it the fish head had done well enough with the task that he had assigned to him, "I am surprised, Fish Face, you actually did quite well in finding something good for my princess." He said, the end of his tail wagging as he thought about her, about the deer girl that he had claimed as his own during their last run in. His lips turned up into a smile, "Since you did so well I will allow you to make a request, anything at all, and I will try to grant it for you... so long as its within reason that is."

Guppy seemed to be thinking on that. To be allowed to request anything at all within reason was a rather good offer to get from Leviathan, there were so many things that came to mind that he could ask for but one thing above all others came to mind and stuck there. His fins gave a twitch before he gave a slow smile and a nod, "I know what I want." He said, a bit of a smile appearing on his lips as he looked up toward the one that was awaiting his decision, "I want to head into the nice, cool water of the ocean and nap for a while... the journey to town and back was tiring and my feet kind of ache."

The sea dragon once more looked surprised. That was it? He was given such a golden opportunity to ask for anything he wanted, anything at all, and he'd asked for that? He gave a shrug of his shoulders as he wasn't about to argue with him, "Alright, feel free to go and nap then." He said, giving a smile. Nothing better then a request that was both easy to fulfill and required nothing on Leviathan's part. His exotic colored eyes watched as the Zora trudged at a slow pace into the water and dove under the moment it was deep enough, heading toward his favorite spot to sleep before his attention was back on the necklace, happily inspecting it once more as he tried to picture the look that might appear on the face of his deer princess when he handed it over to her. It would be wonderful he was sure, he kind of hoped that there would be some blushing involved. Just the mere thought of Tyyne's blushing face had the sea dragon all but purring as he to headed into the water.

Thoughtful

I am getting ready to move on to a warmer climate but it seems damn near impossible to convince Leviathan to do the same... then again it seems impossible to deal with him at all of late. Since he grew he is just... well... I am pretty well sure that the teen is delusional. He is completely certain that there is an army of knights out there plotting his down fall, he seems to pounce on every female he meets claiming that they must be a princess and then in turn tries to claim them for himself, he has drawn a multitude of others into his delusions such as a raptor he calls his General, a Zora kid that is his servant, and various others...

I am pretty well certain that while I should try to do something to help him get better I don't even know where to start. I somehow doubt that it would be possible for Leviathan to go to a psychiatrist... the idea of even trying to get him into one of their offices is laughable. I want to help, want him to be able to cope with reality and not end up going completely bat s**t crazy, if he isn't that already, and make it so he can at least live a normal life but... I am afraid that it isn't something I can do alone. I wonder if I should ask my Father for advice, though I am sure if i did that he would be quite delighted over what he would see as another of my failures. That man will never be happy with a thing that I do unless I go off and become some sort of IRS agent or a servant of the Devil... not sure if there is a difference between the two.

I think I will try one more time to get Leviathan to see reason before I head toward warmer climates for the winter, if he still refuses to come with him then I suppose there is nothing to do but try to find someone that can prescribe him the right medications that will even out his obviously confused mind.

Sea Dragon Meets Star Dragon: Part One

Ryuusei was running as fast as his little feet would carry him, not wanting to float anymore as it would seem that floating around did nothing more then make it easier for his stalker to see him. He had to keep moving, to keep forever ahead of that guy, it was so exhausting and he wanted nothing more then to just give up and hope that he wasn't one of Darcy's minions and that he wouldn't end up dead when he was captured. He couldn't allow for that to happen though, he had to keep moving, so long as he was moving after all he would be able to keep ahead of him... but he was starting to get so very tired, was it so much to ask for to have a nap? He just wanted to be able to rest, just for a little while but it was obvious that the man wasn't going to allow for that, he wanted to keep chasing after him until Ryuu ran himself ragged... it wasn't a good way to make friends he thought in a miserable manner, nearly tripping over his own feet as he moved along as he wasn't used to running so far for so long.

He slid around a corner, down an alleyway, and out the other side. This street seemed to be pretty deserted which was a bad, bad thing. All alone he would be even easier prey for that persistent stalker... not good, not good... maybe if he were able to find some place to hide then he would be alright? Ryuusei's eyes darted from side to side, searching for a spot that would be a good hiding place before he spotted one, "Eww..." He muttered before racing forward, diving into the trash can. He summoned all his stars closer, hugging them to his chest as he pulled the lid on top and he wanted... hoping and praying to any of the Dragon Gods or Goddesses that the one stalking him wouldn't think to look inside the trash can for the one that he was looking for.

The aroma in here was terribly, enough that it made Ryuu's stomach flip flop around inside of him but he ignored the ill feeling he was getting knowing that no matter how bad it smelled in here that it was worse waiting out there to be grabbed. Besides at least if nothing else in here he would be allowed to rest for a moment... to bad trying to catch his breath in here meant breathing in more and more of the foul air that filled the trash can. At least it wasn't hot outside as that would end up broiling him in the smelly air and he was sure that would leave him unable to get clean again, ever. He was going to get a bath the moment he was able to do so... he didn't care if he had to scrub himself off in the fountain at the park he would do so if that was what it took.

Ryuu froze in place as he heard movement outside on the street, it was a strange sound of shuffling sound and he squeezed his eyes shut and he found himself quite certain that it was here and now that he was going to die... the man was going to pop open the lid to the trashcan, he was going to yank him out by his antennae, and he was going to end him... it was so unfair, he was far to young to have a murderous stalker sent after him by an angry, unhappy blond woman! All he'd wanted to do the last time he met up with her was to make friends with her and to make peace with her, he wanted for them to get along since they both cared so much for Ermingild but it would appear as though this was how his desire to meet with his Daddy was going to end... the boy lifted his hands up to his mouth to smother a whimper as the shuffling sound got closer to where he was hiding...

*****

Leviathan leaving his territory was something that only rarely ever happened. It was something that happened when he was up to something that was likely... well not good. He was the sort that when out when there was something that he wanted and only then, that thing being something rather simple today. He wanted to find Roll, he wanted to find his human guardian and shake him hard enough to hear his brain rattle around in his head! He'd heard what that human was saying about him, asking all manner of questions of Guppy, and making him sound like he was nothing but crazy! As though nothing at all were going on around or something! He was human though, he was likely in league with the very humans that wanted to kill him and turned his scales into a suit of expensive armor and that was something that he wasn't going to have happen, damn it!

Bah, that he had actually been so kind as to allow Roll to survive as long as he had based completely on the fact that the human had raised him to this pointed... though he used the term 'raised' very loosely. In fact the most that he could say about Roll was that at least the man hadn't let him get killed before now... but even that was a bit shocking given the fact that he wasn't exactly a worth while parent, not one that did much or taught him much, in fact the dude was a absolute screw up if you asked Leviathan but to find out now that he could be a traitor. In the mind of the sea dragon hat was just about the worst possible thing that Roll could have done. Even in comparison to such an act all Roll had and hadn't done since Levi had been born into this world seemed almost trivial.

He had followed Roll's scent for a distance, as far as he could with natural senses. His sense of smell was better then that of a human but he was no tracking hound, in fact he was struggling by the end to even figure out which direction it was that he should be going in... and in fact as he made it to the edge of town he realized that he couldn't smell the traitor anymore which he saw as a massive frustration. He wanted to find him and wring his not exactly scrawny next but he wasn't going to be so lucky, was he? Damned human anyway... he was going to pay for his crimes, he was just lucky this time around because he'd been able to escape to... well wherever the warmer weather could be found. It didn't give Leviathan enough to go on so he would be unable to follow any further then he already had... it really was a frustration for someone like him, someone that wanted nothing more then to be able to easily deal with whatever got in his way. To his have prey escape so easily had Leviathan's form shaking with anger.

A hissing sound escaped from Levi as he turned, about to head back out of town when suddenly the strangest sight went racing through his line of sight. It was something that had him questioning himself and what he'd just seen, surely not... but... it had appeared to be a... a dragon! Certainly not a dragon anywhere near to what he was himself, this one was small, it was overly pretty despite the fact that it was male, and it was trailing sparkles and silver stars behind it. He starred for a long moment as he went racing down an alleyway looking a touch... terrified? He felt his hackles rising at that, the shiny dragon wasn't just running for the fun of it or for his health, was he? No... no he was running from something, wasn't he? He gave a hissing sound of anger, he bet that it was a knight! There was some disgusting knight attempting to slay that little silver dragon! He would be damned if he let that happened he thought to himself, rage filling every inch of his body before he went slithering along after the sparkling dragon. He was going to save it Leviathan decided, he was going to save the little sparkling dragon for the human trying to kill him and then, if he were able to do so, he would kill that human for daring to strike such fear into a tiny dragon!

As he got to the end of the alleyway he was surprised to find that he'd lost track of the sparkling dragon. Had the human somehow gotten here before him? Had the knight snatched the dragon to drag back home to slay him there? He wouldn't allow it! He gave another hissing sound before he spotted something odd, a trash can not far from where he was standing there was a single silver star floating in an orbiting manner around it. At first that seemed like a strange sight to behold before it suddenly clicked in him mind what the silver star was doing... and where the sparkling star dragon was. He was hiding in the trashcan? That was mildly disturbing to see a dragon fall so low, it was all rage inducing to find a dragon so afraid of something that it would chose to hide in such a horrible place.

He moved over to the trashcan, looking it over before her reached down to take hold of the lid and pulled it over...

Sea Dragon Meets Star Dragon: Part Two

The sound that came from the trashcan was a rather startling one for the sea dragon, it was a sort of... shrieking sound as the little silver dragon came lunging out of the smelling hiding spot in what looked to be an attempt at an escape. Apparently he thought that he was under attack by the enemy and Leviathan was only barely able to catch the boy by the waist out of the air, dragging him backwards, "Do you want him to know where you are?" He hissed out quietly at Ryuusei, looking around as though he were expecting the human to jump out at any moment but seeing nothing he gave a nod then turned back to looking at the one who was trembling like a leaf in his arms, "Scared? You should be, that's likely a dragon slayer that is chasing you! All they want is to kill our kind and make us into armor." He told the smaller dragon before he set to slithering toward where the edge of town was. While he hadn't done what he'd come here to do, that being killing his traitorous guardian, he took on a new and more important task which was saving another of his kind.

Ryuusei's eyes got quite wide when he was snagged out of the air, turning to face his stalker, to see the face of the man that had been following him for days now and... instead of seeing a human he realized he was in the grasp of another dragon, something that was, needless to say, quite a shock to his system. It was made even more shocking when it seemed to be that this creature knew who was following hima nd what they meant to do when they finally caught up, "H-He's gonna make armor out of me? Why would he want to do something that awful!?" He cried, finding himself instantly clinging to the larger, stronger dragon, arms and tail wrapping around him in a way that had Leviathan sighing.

While it would seem that he was a dragon this one seemed to be even softer then even Guppy was Leviathan thought to himself, nearly rolling his eys. In fact if he had to compare this silver dragon to anyone it would likely be Amelia, they had the same sort of soft, innocent aura about them. He sighed again as this dragon wasn't exactly the sort that he'd been hoping to meet when finally meeting another dragon. After making an attempt to peel the little dragon off of him, but seeing that it wasn't going to happen anytime soon, he gave up and continue to make his retreat from the city, "Yes, armor. Our scales are good for making defensive items out of and the fact that your covered in pretty colored, glittering scales would make your hide perfect for making woman's armor." It was a sad but true fact of dragon life that humans wanted their bodies to harvest everything for their various armor, potions, weapons, and food... horrible creatures humans, wanting to make such use of creatures more intelligent then they were. They really should stick to eating farm animals, it would make life easier all the way around.

He gave a pleased sound when they made it to the edge of town before he looked down at the little, clingy dragon before he shook his head, "We are heading to the beach, there isn't a human alive that is foolish enough to come into my territory... and its likely a good place for you to go so I can toss you in the ocean, you smell like a garbage dump and that isn't befitting of a dragon! You need to have more pride in what you are, boy." He scolding him, having no idea that they were around the same age... then again given the difference in their looks how could he have any clue what so ever about something as strange as that?

The little dragon looked up at him, eyes wide, then nodded, "T-Thank you and sorry... I know I smell bad but I wasn't sure where else to hide." He admitted, it was a last minute decision for him to dive into the trashcan but it been the only place that he didn't think that his human stalker would look for him... the idea that he would also avoid the ocean that they were heading toward since it was a larger dragon's territory was a nice thought, "Since... since we are going to your safe territory does that mean I can sleep for a bit? I have been running for a very long time, for days now, to keep ahead of my stalker and I am so tired that I don't think I could float at the moment if I wanted to." It really was a strain to have to look over his shoulder every moment of everyday since that man had first started to follow him around. Even if it were for only a short time and while he was able to stay in this other dragon's territory he would take advantage of being allowed to sleep.

"The b*****d has been following you that long? I really should hunt him down and slaughter him... but best that I don't, that might bring more slayers after me and I am already having problems with knights and princesses." He muttered, wishing he could do more to help but for the moment what he was doing was likely enough if the look on the star dragon's face was any indication, "Look, you just rest for now and when we get back to my territory, and after you have been hosed off, you can sleep for as long as you like. As a fellow dragon, and not one that is looking to steal my territory or my things I assume, you are welcome to stay a while."

Ryuu shook his head rapidly, "No, no! I wouldn't want to take anything that is yours." He said in a rush, not about to mess up this chance for a safe place to sleep, "If I can do anything in exchange please, let me know." He told him, tail wagging behind him in a happy manner, something that had Leviathan nearly groaning against as the boy was starting to remind him of a puppy now as well.

The rest of the journey back to the beach that Leviathan had claimed as his was fairly uneventful as halfway there the little silver dragon had passed out, remaining tightly wrapped around the sea dragon the entire way.

Angry Scribblings in the Sand

I am starting to wonder if there is a single trustworthy human out there... my own guardian isn't one so would I trust in other humans after all... hes plotting against me, I know that he is. The moment that I get my hands on him I will be sure to throw him head long into the ocean and lets the tides take care of my light work, I swear!

His treachery isn't the only thing that has gotten me in a bad mood, its the fact that there was a little silver dragon, one who is currently napping on the beach for what has to been hours now, who was being chased through town by a dragon slayer! The little dragon told me that he was being followed for days by the man and was so tired and afraid that he was forced to hide in a filth ridden trashcan! A trashcan damn it! I want nothing more then to hunt the slayer down and beat him mercilessly about the head, shoulders, knees, and toes like in that song... I would to were it not for the fact that I have enough enemies out there without taking on all the enemies that this dragon has gathered himself.

I will allow the star dragon to stay here for as long as he needs to and if the slayer dares step foot on my beach I will toss him head first into the ocean, but unless that happens I won't raise a hand against another man's enemies. After all its not my place and what if the silver dragon wishes to deal with his stalker on his own? Its his right to do so I believe. We will see how this scenario plays out soon enough I am sure...
