Cal had too forgotten a change of clothes. "That's alright," she gathered her things unbuckled her seat belt,"I don't plan on going too far in!" She smiled wide toward the window. The waves were gently lapping at the wet sand. "Let's go train Skye." She poked his cheek and opened the door, heading out.

Skye stuck his tongue out at Shade. "Chu." He teased him and quickly jumped out of the Jeep, barely making the distance between him and Cal. He climbed up hanging on to Cal's hat.

"You're going to join us Shade?" She looked back at the Haunter and noticed a Pidgeot by panther. "Hm... That must be Swift Wing." she patted Skye on the head and looked at Shade, "You don't like Swift Wing?" She laughed a bit before placing Skye on the ground. She took off her boots and set them aside. She placed a toe into the water to test it out. It wasn't too cold, so she carefully placed her feet in and splashed a bit.

Skye sniffed at the wet sand. It wasn't too bad, i just stuck to his paws. He played at the waters edge Eagerly waiting for Shade to join him. "Pichu chu!" he beckoned Shade to him to join. He made sure not to get too wet in the oncoming waves.

Cal laughed as Panther made his way down the beach. "Come on down! The water's fine!" She splashed in an attempt to show what she meant. Swiftwing had taken to the sky. He didn't seem like the social type. "He's not gonna come play?" She smiled as she pointed to the Pidgeot.

Skye looked at the mound Shade had made. He circled it once before piling on more wet sand. He patted it down and sat on it smiling at the Haunter. He had made himself a pretty comfortable throne to rule from.

"So he's one of those!" She laughed and looked up at the Pidgeot circling overhead. Cal turned her attention toward the Panter. "Hm?" She thought for a second before answer. "Nope! I got absorbed into the beach." She swayed slightly, the waves moving past her legs.

Skye clapped his tiny paws together and adjusted the sand dollar piece on his head. He crossed his tiny arms and tried to take on a regal appearance. "Pi pichu." He commanded the Haunter in a joking manner.

"I'll keep my eyes- OUCH!" Before she had a chance to finish her sentence, Cal felt a sharp pain on her leg. She ran from the water and onto the beach panicking and running around. She managed to knock what had attached to her leg off onto the sand. "Och... So much for being vigilant." She rubbed her aching leg and noticed that it was a crabby who had pinched her. "Let's battle Skye..." Her voice became very serious.

Skye turned away from Shade's antics to Cal. She had become very worked up over such a little thing as a pinch. "Skye, Now!" She growled, making him shrink back a little, but he ran over there as fast as his little paws could carry him, readying himself for battle.

Cal eyed the Krabby who bubbled at the mouth, pinching it's claws and scuttiling back and forth angrily. It had gotten into a battle ready stance when Skye had joined the scene. The Krabby wasn't quite sure what to do. "Krabby..." In a bust of foam, the Krabby opened with a surprisingly fast bubble attack. It made no difference to Cal, she knew the that the weak pokemon's attack would have little effect.

Skye had taken the blow head on, he grimaced but shook off the slight discomfort. "Skye use Thundershock." Cal said this calmly but it hinted at her anger. The Pichu looked back at Cal and crossed his arms, obviously not wanting to go along with their little battle.

Skye looked at Panther and humphed. He didn't intend on showing off for anyone. He noticed Shade above him and scoffed, turning his head away from the battle. Meanwhile, the Krabby used Leer on the little Pichu, taking this opportunity. Skye faulted a bit, but regained his composer as he stared off into space.

Cal was steaming at this point. "Skye, use Thundershock or I swear," she thought for a moment thinking about anything she could threaten Skye with. "I'll take away all your snacks and give them to Shade and Panther." She grinned, hoping this would effect him in some way.

"Pi!?" Skye turned to Cal. He was obviously in love with his chips and didn't plan on sharing with anyone. He twtched his ears and shifted from paw to paw, before deciding that he had to have them. He didn't want anyone else to have what was his. He reluctanly turned to the Krabby and made his cheeks spark, dealing a super effective blow to the weak Krabby. It was out in one hit. "Good job Skye!" Cal clapped excitedly at their first battle won together. Skye looked a bit satisfied with himself, smiling at Shade.
