I admit I'm naturally biased, and that I do tend to argue a lot. I also got most of my information on the health aspect from biased sources.
I still maintain that as a whole the dangers of fat are exaggerated beyond a reasonable agree.

Thoughtful_Marine I'm probably not all that health 3nodding I'm 5'4-5'5" and I weight about 240-250ish... last I checked..... 3nodding I'm sure I do have muscle... anyone with younger brothers and sisters has to have some muscle arm... especially when you carry them about allot 3nodding But... not allot of muscles I don't think sweatdrop I'm not really healthy I am 4'11 and 119 pounds. I know I am really short.

Usually the people who insult us chubby folk are insecure themselves and what the negative attention put upon someone else. Even if you were to lose all of the excess weight, they'd probably STILL tease you about something else, so why waste your time worrying what they think of you? There's no sense in trying to please them, just please yourself 3nodding heart

Fat isnt a bad thing (as long as you are healthy) if you cna pull it off; by which i mean, if you are confident in it.
If it makes you happy, then your happiness will become contageous.....

Because if 6 fat people pile into a car and go down a bumpy road it will bottom out more than a car full of skinny people. (I know from experience)

I rolled my eyes when reading the first page. Did anyone else notice that everyone on the first page of that thread had some MAJOR spelling and grammar issues? Not that I'm perfect, but I don't take a ballistic approach to writing. Yes, I've decided that most of those people have severe issues of their own, so I do not know why they feel the need to make themselves feel better by putting others down. To me, people who say things like that have about as much basis for their accusations/criticisms as racists do. They feel unexplicable anger and hatred towards a group of people for no real reason. I mean, if we got overweight by eating small children, I could possibly understand their anger. But such is not the case (or so I hope...). So for now, those people just need to take a chill pill (possibly a chill suppository may do more good) and not look at something if they have issues with it.

it was funny, when I started yelling at them they did the only thing they could think of......call me a noob. that just made me laugh cause I am far from being a noob, and the only basis they had to do that wasy supposedly because of the way I type, which includes using alot of periods like this.............

fat is fine... like, I'm 235 pounds.. sure thats not a healthy weight for a 16 year old girl whos 6'
BUT... a lot of it is muscle, but still I have a large amount of fat on my body... but, I'm always warm in the winter... when I fall over in my sports, I don't bruse easily...
Fat is your bodily shield against bad stuff... FAT IS GOOD!!!....
and squishy heart my friends all use me as a pillow and cuddle to me cuz I'm comfy eek
One time I got injuryed, was wrestling with my brother I had baggy pants on with side pockets. Well a few minnutes before i was drawing. So I put my mechanical pencil into my side pocket. While wrestling, my brother and I fell to the ground. The pencil went into my leg. Well I weigh 260 pounds, like you said the fat protected me. My doctor said that he was glad i am fat!! My Doc!! I was astonished. If i was the "normal" size 5 and under. The pencil would of caused serious damage, It would of went into my nerves and viens. Instead it went into my fat. *does the happy dance* rofl
My cousin she wouldn't be walking if she was not fat. Last winter she fell on some ice. landed on her butt. she cannot lift over 15 pounds. The doc said he was glad she was bigger because the fat cussioned her back. I am to. If she was not fat. She would be paralized.
