Vali was confused at Espen, and once he set the box down he back away giving Epsen lots of room. He felt bad that he might cause his host to get sick. He looked down at his arms for the first time wondering if he was really a bad person. If he could make people sick maybe she should not be at the party. Maybe Pippin had gotten sick after they had met and he had hugged the other spawn. His tail dropped for the first time actually moving with his mood.
He watched the other spawns move to the costume and start to dress up. It was nice to see there were of lots of sizes to fit everyone. But he did not know if he should try any on. He would hate it if his arm blades tore any of the clothing. Then he would have ruined something of Espen as well as almost made him sick. He smiled as he saw Europa hand his best friend Pippin armor. He could not see his princess as a knight but maybe he would make a good one.
He turned to see and hear Bleez fall forward. He hurried over to her his hand moving to help her up. "Oh my are you alright? Should I kiss it and make it feel better? That helps when your hurt right?" He asked gently hoping that the smaller toddler really did not get hurt too bad.

"Kiss it?" Bleez looked at Vali, confusion on her face. "You not my mum! Only me mummy kisses my boos." She stood up, a little wobbly from the dress being so big and her still standing on the front hem. "'Sides, I'm fine." She grabbed the front of the dress, pulling the fabric up, only to fall on her tush. "I t'ink dis is too big," she huffed.

Pippin's eyes were a bit wide as he was handed the armor of a night. For a moment he was hesitant, knowing that he was the Princess, not the Knight. He set the helmet aside, positive it wouldn't fit over his massive headwings. Taking the rest he slipped it on over his clothing, and practically drowned in the armor. "It's a little big." he giggled, turning to show Europa and striking a 'cool' pose. He just looked a little dorky though, not large enough to fill out the suit.
Turning he saw his best friend Vali, giving the boy a large smile and waving his arms the best he could in a very friendly greeting, "Vali~! Hai! Lookit, Ima knight like you!" he laughed, feeling the clunky armor shake as he wiggled. "Yous a better one though." he admitted, turning to Eurie for another moment and giving her a soft smile, perfectly content being with two of his favorite people in the whole wide world.

Europa laughed and plopped back down on the couch. Who was that? Huh, the silver kid! It definitely looked like Pippin knew him. Might as well be friendly, right? She managed a little smile and waved.

"And you are very-big mister deer-guy. Oh! I bet you can swim faster than any deer underwater can't you? Like...a rare water deer!" Espen giglged at his own creation of what Marii was.
Espen noticed that people weren't dancing anymore, but that was okay, because they weren't really dancing so much before either, and were at least having fun with the costumes. Espen lowered his sunglasses to get a better look at the dress that he had tossed to Bleez and laughed at how silly she looked wrapped up in it.
"I think it's too big for you too," he agreed between a giggle fit "Maybe you need a mask instead like Marii."

Vali smiles softly and nods watching as the little wrath spawn pulled away from him and tripped over the dress again. He stood up slowly letting her figure out the dress issue.
His smile truned bright and large as he heard Pippin's voice calling to him. He turned and his tail swayed as he saw Pipping wearing the fake armor. He smiled and being careful not to get close to Epsen at all he took up his winged friend and spun him around, "You make a great knight! Does that mean that Europa, was it, can be our princess?" He laughed softly as he set Pippin down.
The silver spawn did not think at all that it might embarass Pip to be hugged and swung so. He was just so happy to know that Pip had seen him and to be able to talk to him now. Nor did he think about what Pippin might think about the suggestion that someone else should be the princess.

Europa arched a brow at the silver boy. So apparently he and Pippin were close? Why did Pippin seem to be the only boy here that didn't suck? She wasn't a princess! She didn't look like a princess!
Heck, she didn't want to be a princess!
Back when there were princesses they lived in damp, drafty, smelly old castles and they didn't take baths or brush their teeth and that was gross.

Bleez huffed, the dress was just not going to work. She crawled out of the top of it, and left it where it lay while she started digging in the box for something.
She squealed loudly as she found a mask at the very bottom of the box. Pulling it on before pulling it out of the box she crouched and brought her hands up to her chest. The mask sat a little awkwardly because of her horns, but she could still see out of the eye holes... a bit.
"RAWR! I am t'e Bleezasaurus Rex! Queen of de dinosaurs!" she roared, then made her way to the pink dress and began to "eat" it like a dinosaur would. "Bleezasaurus Rex is hung'y. Chomp, chomp, chomp."

Pippin giggled as he was swung around, happy for such a gracious greeting from such a good friend. It was exiting, he really did feel like royalty with two of his favorite people in the world around.
"I dun think she wants ta be a princess." he giggled, smiling at Eurie, "Whaddya wanna be? You can be anything, since it's pretend and all." he was sure Europa knew this, after all she was very smart, but he felt the need to say it anyways, if for nothing else than to clarify it in his own mind.
He looked at the two, being around his friends felt so good. He sometimes felt a bit foolish, for being so shy and all. He really liked the people he actually ended up talking to, it was just getting him to talk that was the hard part. Once he got started though, he was just like any normal social little boy.

Europa had long since outgrown her princess phase, perhaps a bit earlier than other girls did. She always felt like she was more mature than her friends, and while that didn't matter any other way, it sure made playing games feel weird. Now, she was the oldest of the group, so she couldn't just not play. Pippin was a cutie-pie, and his friend Vali seemed old for his age. Oh, why not.
The girl slid off the couch and dropped to her knees before rising up again, arms arched and clawed.
"I'm the dragon."

Vali looked from Pippin to Europa and smiles, "Oh I have never gotten to play with a dragon before." he smiled and nods, "Well I guess then if Pippin is the knight and Europa is a dragon then I can be a wizard or a prince then." he looked back towards the box of costume items maybe he could fit into one of the ones in there. He wondered if he should seeing how his blades might cut them.
"Um excuse me for a minute." he said before he hurried over to his bag. It was a good thing that Dooma had packed blade guards for him. He might not sleep often but he found that little strips of rubber that would 'snap' onto his arm blades kept fabrics from ribbing when he worn longer sleeved items or tried to sleep in sheets. He did not want to upset Espen by ruining one of his costumes.

"PLEASE MISS DRAGON LADY DUN EAT ME!" the boy said quite suddenly, his eyes wide before he realized what exactly he had said, "Er... I mean..." he cleared his throat quickly, "Dun harm the castle or yull pay!"
So maybe screaming hadn't been the most knightly approach at first, but he was quite sure he had made up for it.
The young boy nodded to Vali, sure that wherever he was going was quite important. He had faith in his best friend, and knew he'd come back to play once he was done.
Honestly he wasn't surprised by Europa's choice of character. He didn't mind one bit, and found it quite interesting as a matter of fact. It was neat that she didn't want to just be the princess, made her unique in his eyes. He understood that even though he was just a young child.

Europa laughed, crouching down as if to attack, but stood when Vali excused himself she stood to wait. It wouldn't do to play a game with one boy and not the other, right? Then she'd be a total lame-o.
She watched with interest as the boy protected his arms, but only for a moment. How thoughtful of him to not try and rip them both to shreds. She straightened her dress like a proper lady should, smirking to herself that Pippin seemed to think it was okay to have a dragon in a fluffy dress and big hat.

On his way back to the two Vali moved close enough to the chest to grab a long robe like thing then he hurried back to the two he was playing with. He pulled the robe on, and though he had blade gaurds on he was still careful as he pu the robe on. He did not want to cut it and have Epsen mad at him.
Hurrying back to Europa and Pippin he smiled, "Sorry bout that. Okay I am a wizard and with your help brave knight we can get teh dragon on our side!" he smiled brightly, "For she is such a strong and powerful dragon." The silver spawn as unware that the robe he had pulled on him looked more like a tight dress than a robe but he would make due. After all it was pretend and a big part of pretend was imagining something was something more than it seemed.

Pippin was glad Europa was the one playing the dragon. He was pretty sure he wouldn't have been able to pull it off. After all, most dragons didn't have huge headwings or large glasses that was for sure.
He waited patiently with Europa, glad that he didn't have to defend all by himself since the dragon was waiting just as patiently as he was. When Vali returned he smile, "Welcome back!" he said in greeting before standing to face the 'wicked' dragon.
The young boy nodded in agreement as Vali's words, "Yeah! And she's so wicked and scary!" he added, knowing that Europa knew better and knew he was just playing. "Look out! Don't stand too close or she might bite you!"
