Now you understand why I'm putting my time here, and not there. I feel that if we keep working, we can make this guild awesome.

Part of the problem is that the captains of TSRT are a bunch of stuck up wussies. /rant.

I'll actually talk to Wicked about puppetting the hollow, as she doesn't really have a character that is a captain, and would not be involved otherwise. Besides, the hollow has a VERY small part to play.

I'm just as frustrated in Sereitei. I'm really only one keeping my squad alive and was case to a degree in old squad. I feel I need to pester Captains to have anything occur which hasn't gotten me in good graces of some. I don't do it daily or even weekly but every couple of weeks I feel need to bring stuff up. I created a whole plot idea, Daven liked it in general but of course dead now since he no longer runs it. Anyways enough on that guild and more focus on this.

So we have a basic template to involve a portion need to decide how its written detailed or whether we actually take a week or so to RP it out and put it as a historic link. Family feud we seem to have a few suggestions and seem to all agree it would involve intervention of other Captains(VC's of those Captains too maybe) Need to figure storyline for that and how it will work with timing of Asuma/Higure events.

We honestly need to write out a step-by-step order of events, that way, we will get a clear and concise backstory, and less of a power-play mega-fight. ^_^

I could write one now of step to step basing on what was agreed on.

((Did something really quick to try to put all together))

All was normal in soul society until a Hollow, vasto-lorde class, who was capable of spewing other hollows out of his mouth, came to earth and was attacked by a younger, ambitious Asuma. During the fight, Asuma damages the hollows mask, but doesn't kill him.
In a fit of pain, the hollow tears off his mask, and becomes an arrancar.
As he changes, his true power awakens, and he is destroyed in a massive explosion, which releases an airborne agent.
This agent (as in "Turn Back the Pendulum") causes hollowfication if it comes into contact with a shinigami.
Disturbed by the release of reiatsu, The Sereitei sends out Higure to examine the disturbance, along with the old Sou-Taichou. When they arrive, they find Asuma, half-hollowfied, who attacks them blindly.
In Asuma's rage, he kills the old Sou-Taichou, leaving only Higure, who releases his zanpakuto and subdues Asuma. The agent then attacks Higure causing him to lose control of his zanpakuto.

Using his reiatsu control, and a device he had invented to store reiatsu, Higure compresses the agent and seals it within a gray orb, which then radiates with intense reiatsu, and almost an intelligent presence.
In the mayhem, Higure blacks out due to the loss of all of his Reiatsu, and Asuma, realizing what the orb could do, steals it, runs about happily, accidentally opens a garganta, and is pulled into Hueco Mundo.

Higure, Asuma and the SOu-Taichou had been absent now for over two weeks and fearing the worst the remaning Captains sent out three Captains to located the the missing. Shido Captain of 13th squad, Aurilien Captain of the 5th squad and Shoifon Captain of the 4th squad were all send forth to Huedo Mundo where word reached Asuma would be and possibly Higure and the Sou-Taichou. They found Asuma deep within the land where he revealed he had killed the sou-Taichou and possessed a new hollow form. A fight ensued where Shoifon was killed prior to Asuma escaping by sending the remaining Captains out of Huedo Mundo in a garganta.

While those events took place in the Sereitei trouble was starting. Four noble families the Kuchiki, the Shihouin, the Kobayashi and the Shiba all existed within the sereitei but not without rivalry. In the course of creating the Sereitei the forefathers of each house all had a portion of the land now known as the Sereitei. Due to a massive threat of Hollows they decided to unite the families in order to preserve their lands. As time wore on an elite force was formed of the best spiritual warriors of each house. This elite force became known as the Gotei 13. With the new found affiliations portions of old tradional values and land became lost to the newly formed Gotei 13, which as the main army for all of the families used their power to demand further land to enhance their structure. Eventually the Gotei 13 would claim ownership over a large portion of the Sereitei, forcing each family to have their land cut. This created a deep routed hatred by the tradionalist in each noble family, seeing the power shifts all going towards the Gotei 13.

As three of the most prestigious members of the Gotei 13 had left for over a month now, the tradionalist in the four noble families who had plotted a rebellion made their move. Using a force of four hundred trained fighters they stormed the gotei 13, sensing a weakness without their leaders. The remaining Captains( can name guys) managed to subdue the tradionalist in a bloody fight that is always in everyones memory.

50 years later we now find a peaceful Sereitei. The extremist no longer exist in the families and the new generation has come to accept the Gotei 13 for what it is, the protectors of soul society. The division ranks are flourishing under Higure's guard and always on their toes knowing Asuma has continued to gather power in Huedo Mundo.

Alright. To speed things along, I'm making an executive decision here.
We are not going to role-play out the backstory, we are just going to write it.
In fact, we don't even need it on the front page, it's more of a filler to help new members understand what's going on.

Aine and I will handle the writing of this. And for now I would like the rest of you captains to focus on setting up your squads, reading the rules and PM'ing me if you see anything that I left out, and just making sure that the guild is getting ready overall.

(This is a parallel time line to the original Bleach canon, there are no original characters by Kubo Tite in this story line, only the continuation of the noble family names and general knowledge of Bleach.)

Long before the Seireitei was the home to the ranks of the Gotei 13, the four noble houses of the Kuchiki, Shihouin, Kobayashi and Shiba created the ‘Court of Pure Souls’ as an attempt to unite the families in order to preserve their lands from the endless threats posed by Hollow. As time marched on, the attacks by the empty creatures only continued to grow more sever and more numerous. Seeing the problem, the King and the Royal Guard charged the four noble families with creating a force to defend against the Hollow, while also charging them with the duty of protecting human souls. Under the new edict, the families squabbled over the design of this new elite group, but in the end the young head of the Kobayashi family, Higure and his childhood friend Okudaira Tsukiyo, two of the only souls at the time who showed strength enough to have mastered Bankai, took the lead and began the formation of the Gotei 13 as it is today.

800 ago years from the present, the four noble houses at the request of Higure, donated the entirety of the Seireitei for the use of the expanding Shinigami ranks, much to the ire of the more traditionally minded clan members. They felt the expansion of the new order undermined the values and teaching the families had strived to keep, and absolutely hated that common souls with ‘potential’ were being taught to take up the mantle of the Shinigami title, while some noble members were completely over looked. In order to preserve their ways, the Traditionalists pushed for a governmental body to be formed that would allow the families more sway over the Gotei 13 and over Higure and Tsukiyo. They’re wish was fulfilled in short order to prevent in fighting, and they came together with elder members of the Gotei 13 and elders of other lesser noble families to create Central 46.

The Gotei 13 only continued to grow, especially in the recession of the Traditionalists, that is until 47 years before present day. On a seemingly ordinary day, the observation center within the 12th Division picked up the reiatsu signature of a Hollow emerging in the Living World. The levels were unprecedented, and the technicians were frantic. The knowledge of Menos higher then Gillian existing was and still is a highly guarded secret, only known by Captains, the noble family heads and Central 46. Serving as both the Sou Taicho and 12th Division Captain, Higure was alerted to the trouble immediately and departed for the Living World right then and there. Upon his arrival, the Hollow was gone and in its wake was Asuma Haruka, at the time Captain of the (insert number here) who’d been on a sabbatical in the Living World. Unfortunately, Asuma no longer appeared as a Shinigami, but with the covering of a wolfish guise, the form of a Hollow plastered over him and continuing to spread.

Later, Higure and the other Captains would come to know that the Hollow who’d appeared was a Vast Lord. The powerful Hollow could expel other lower level Hollow from its body, and when Asuma attacked it, managing to damage its mask, it had ripped the mask off while ridden by unimaginable pain. The process of becoming an Arrancar had begun but would never be, the Vast Lord exploded in a spray of black particles that hung in the air and coated anything they touched. The creature was unstable to begin with, creating others from its own body and having them destroyed slowly dissolved the Vast Lord away until the transformation ended in its destruction rather then rebirth.

Deducing that the particles in that air were behind the changes in his fellow Captain, Higure had no choice but to release his zanpakutou to subdue Asuma. In a fit of rage, the Hollowfied Capatain attacked back, but in the end was over come and knocked unconscious. Alone in the center of ‘ground zero’, Higure removed a small spherical device from within his clothing, the tiny thing an experimental reiatsu storage device. Using the last of his reiatsu and all of his control, Higure compressed the particles along with his strength into the sphere before crumpling in place as he blacked out. The sphere, which would later come to be know as the Konbyaku Kuutai, the ‘Soul Splitting Orb’, pulsated dully with a sentience and immense power locked within its confines.

Okay, that's what I have typed out so far...and no it isn't finished. I'm trying to keep the elements that Arui, Iu and everyone else pitched in. I just haven't gotten far enough to introduce their characters into this. Which reminds me that I need to ask Asuma what Captaincy he wants to have been, and if it fits with who ever has that Squads bio.

I would like to include everyone, but I was using what we've already had established with tweaks here and there. I didn't mention you character since I though we established that he wasn't a founder of the Gotei 13. He was a one of the first Captains and student of either Higure or Tsukiyo.

I suppose in the later portions I could add him in on the search and rescue portion, but after that I'm NOT adding any more Captain's to the event, unless they want to be mentioned for staying in Soul Society.

Also, I would really appreciate less work on my part. I've been trying to bang this out for days, and just now had enough time to really get it down.

I could help if you need it, Wicked ^_^

But the captaincy? Squad eleven, most likely. XD

Fits an old Asu-esque.

Yeah, that's right, though I thought I grew up with them and learned the shinigami arts from you two. When i read it, I thought you were mentioning the original captains already, that's all. It's more of a "Just Checking" kinda thing.

Well I proposed the family component but uncertain if that is of interest.

I have been trying to work in the families as I go, and I know that isn't to obvious from what I've produced so far. They would come into play a bit later in the story line.

The sphere, which would later come to be know as the Konbyaku Kuutai, the ‘Soul Splitting Orb’, pulsated dully with a sentience and immense power locked within its confines. Still ridden by his changes, Asuma awoke from unconsciousness and was drawn to the power radiating from the Konbyaku and snached it away. He ran while continuing to destroy whatever was in his path until and accidental slip ripped open Garganta and he disappeared inside.
Higure awoke not long after and barely managed to pull his depleted body away before back up from Soul Society descended on the area. He disappeared; even the elitist Onmitsukidou couldn’t track the pitiful amount of reiatsu he’d left behind. For two weeks the Seireitei was at odds without the Sou Taicho, the Traditionalist of old resurging and beginning the stirrings of decent in Central 46. For hundreds of years the second founder of the Gotei 13, Tsukiyo, had been gone due to promotion…so there was little opposition against the Traditionalists. When Higure reappeared within Soul Society, still drained but alive and shortly filling in the blanks for what happened with the Hollow, and the missing 11th Captain.

Now with the knowledge of Hollowfication effecting Asuma and him being no where to be found, search parties were formed to scourer both Soul Society and the Living World. Six months passed with absolutely nothing turning up, the searches exhausting every lead and inch of both worlds. Eliminating the two as major options, the focus of the search turned towards Hueco Mundo. The Seireitei was generally in horror of the situation while unable to access Garganta, two months alone were spent in development of a technology to punch through into the black and white space. Once completed the Captain’s were assembled to perform the preliminary search within Hueco Mundo, two of which, under a ploy by the Traditionalists of Central 46, were heads of the Shiba and Kobayashi. Forging their way into Garganta, the 3rd, 9th and 10th Captain’s left with complete intentions of bringing back Asuma from whatever may have befallen him, but contact was lost with the small party only half a day into the exploration.

Scrambling, a second wave of Captain’s were sent in this time including the head of the Kuchiki family, Shido of the 13th Division, Aruilien of the 5th Division and Shoifon the former Captain of the 4th Division. Much more cautiously they made their way into Hueco Mundo, only to find the bodies of the three Captains sent in early grimly displayed and mutilated upon the crystallized trees studding the white desert. The scene was grisly, and the sands scared from a powerful clash but nothing remained besides the bodies. What was left of the three was returned to their families, including Higure’s father, the 9th Captain. Days passed as the small party continued to search, and with the greif and focus on the mission drawing all attention away the Traditionalists took a stand. With two of the four noble houses without an official head, the Traditional factions took control of them and usurped power within Central 46.

At the same time, the group in Hueco Mundo finally found a hint of Asuma, but not what they had expected. The former 11th Captain struck them first, killing the 4th Captain in one fell swoop before attacking Shido and Aruilien. Together they were able to hold their own for a time against Asuma’s Hollow form but retreated when an attack nearly left one of them unconscious. When they reemerged in Soul Society with Shoifon’s dead body the information spread like wild fire. The Traditionalist took action, pulling control of the Seireitei away from the rest of Central 46 and even Higure. They controlled the entirty of the reserve forces for the Gotei 13 and used them to their advantage, pressuring the Captains with an ultimatum of ‘fall in line or fight’. To say the least, the grief driven Squads decided to fight and a bloody civil war ensued even under the threat that Asuma now posed.

In the end, the Traditionalists were unseated and locked forever within the Maggot’s nest along with their most loyal of followers. Casualties were numerous, only adding to the problems caused by the untimely death of four Captains. Due to the Traditionalists actions, Central 46 was severely limited in their power and influence while Higure and the remaining Captains retained the decision making power that they once possessed. Now in the present, only one Captain was ever replaced and the Gotei 13 has slowly been rebuilding their ranks. Although three Captains are missing, the other Captain’s have helped in turn to keep each of the Squads formally headed by them running.

((Okay, I got things finished, and yes the end sucks in my opinion. If you’d like to edit it and make it all pretty, be my guest. Please, it needs to have a look over anyway.))
