Hatter approached, not trying to be sneaky or anything. She had a cigarette sticking out of her mouth. She saw that there was someone else on the range. A team mate. Okay, good, she'd get to see how well he shot as well. Excellent probably. She looked at his gun, then hers, and realized JUST how outdated hers was. She grinned, she didn't mind. She loved this old gun. Her AR-18 was old, but faithful, and good for things like this.

Using her pointer and middle finger, she inhaled the smoke from her cigaretter deeply, and released, taking hold of it and flicking the ashes away. She held it up,"Maybe later...this would make it taste funny."She replied. She then looked at her AR-18, and grinned,"This is my baby...though the DI doesn't much care for it, i don't blame him really...this is a 'nam war gun, not much use in today's world."

"You can't really hate on classics, if it weren't for them we wouldn't have the fancy stuff that we have today." He held is SCAR up. "Besides, some people just like the new guns for their flashy looks over their performance, but the AR-18 had a good running record and might I add that it looks scary as ********?"

She grinned, glad to see someone else agreed with her. She nodded at the scary comment,"Certainly does...that's one of the reasons i love this gun so much,"She said, adding,"And yeah, most people go for looks when referring to a gun, but that SCAR you're holding...it looks good, and has some killer firepower."

"I haven't been able to tame the 7.62 round yet." He mumbled in an embarassed manner...Deciding to change the subject he asked, "Which fireteam are you in?" He scratched his head and slung his rifle.

He shrugged. "I'm in fireteam alpha....So far were doing nothing but training, I want to get out onto the field though." He sighed. "My brother is still somewhere out there...Dead or alive I gotta find him." He grunted trying to forget about that situation for awhile and took another bite of jerky.

He turned around snapped up and fired a shot into the neck of the new target that just popped up. "Thanks for the concern, and good luck with leading a squad. I dont think I'd be able to do something like that.." He reached into his vest pocket again and had pulled out an illegal Gambino cigar, bit off the end and started to chew it. "I wonder what we're supposed to do after shooting.."

She shrugged, as she kneeled, pulled the AR-18 to her shoulder, aimed, and fired. The bullet made it's mark into the gut of the target. She looked up at him, and grinned,"Yeah...I usually don't get put in charge, because I'm good for the suicide missions, and you can't have a kamakazi leader, but I really don't mind, it wont be that bad."
