Iodren walked into a bit after dusk, winding his way through the streets until he came upon a still despite the hour, loudly happy inn. Checking his coin pouch which was sorely nearly empty he made sure he had a few silver before going in. He sat down in the taproom and waited for a serving girl to pass by, a hot fresh meal was what he needed after his long travels to this quaint little town. He made sure his scabbard was securely belted to his belt and when he had sat down set beside him.

Air'gen got impatient "Here" she placed a few coins on the table next to Iodren. "Now I need one single drop of your blood please, a single drop" she said still slightly angry.

Myia watched a woman that was asking for someone to give her their blood. This made her interested in the woman and took a seat not to far from where the woman was talking to a man. "Water please." She asked. She waited quietly for her water as she watched the woman out of the corner of her eye.

Draxis had been eyeing a group across the inn. Now that the general crowd had begun to disperse a wood elf's annoyance was evident. It seemed she truly desired blood. "You lust for blood, right? My elven chum, I happen to hound for a bit of peace and quiet now it's getting late. I'll gladly give you as much of my blood as you need, providing you keep it down." Of course, asking for blood was suspicious. There was no doubt about that-but Draxis was confident. At worst the elf was after the blood for perhaps a malignant form of magic. As a Templar he was sure that his nullification would render any attempts at harm useless.

"I'll have you know I need it to make a Treant to protect this little slice of nothingness, and elvish blood won't work," Air'gen left her money she wouldn't need it after this. "Just one drop from you're finger" she said holding out her knife.

Draxis leant back, letting his hood roll back, revealing his face. "Take it from the cheek m'dear," he said, turning his head to one side, one hand clutched onto his sword handle just in case, "it'd take far too long to take off my gauntlets." He seemed to pause for a moment, waiting for her advancement, before closing his eyes with a smirk. "My only other request is that I see what you're up to. You could say I have an... interest in the arcane and mysterious."

"Fine follow me" Air'gen said after pricking his cheek. As she walked off she watched the blood trickle down the blade "Thanks".

Draxis slowly rose, feeling the cut on his face. Very shallow, she kept to her word. He moved past what was left of the crowd, recieving some odd stares that he countered with a warm smile. Standing outside, he continued to follow the girl, looking up at the dark starry night, stretching. "What's a girl like you doing with a blood lust on a night like this?"

Myia tilted her head as she watched them interact. 'Hm.' She grinned as a water was placed in front of her. "Thank you." She smiled brightly and began to sip at the glass of water. Now she needed something to do. She could pick off another person, but that would bring to much attention to her. Myia stretched her arms above her. 'I'm so bored.' She thought.

"You say blood lust one more time and you'll suddenly find your self with a lack of that odd liquid" Air said walking to the tree. "Like it" she said gesturing at the runes "took me a month". She took deep breaths and muttered something, then thrust the blade into the tree with force. Suddenly all the runes and sigils light up, an intense green light and twisting noises as the branches contorted. Only for a few seconds before the light and the runes faded "there, now it should help the guard. If the warning bell sounds the tree comes to life and smashes anyone the guards are smashing" she smiled... before she fainted.

Draxis watched the elf hit the ground, and pushed off from the ground, kneeling next to her. She was still breathing, luckily. He scooped her up with ease, eyeing the magic tree again. Would it work to dispell malignance, or would it turn on its creator...best to leave it for now, he thought, setting off inside the inn.
Pushing inside, he gently put the girl on the table that the dancing girl with the odd bag had occupied. "Mind if I dump the lass here? Was dabbling in magic and fainted. More trouble than it's worth, magic." He bent over the girl, his gauntlet glowing a faint blue. It was always worth checking in case of any worrying or odd magic, just in case- though he could do little to combat it. "It's a shame as well," Draxis proclaimed lightly as his gauntlets hovered over the elf, "I was just about ready to say that if she was lucky it wouldn't be the only p***k she'd be causing tonight...In retrospect perhaps it's better she was unconscious for that.."

The inkeeper looked at the few guests left in the inn "Hey folks it's late and time to go home" he shouted. Some people started to get up and headded for the door, some was still busy with their drinks or meals, but seemed to focus more on getting this finished.

Myia sighed and then looked over her shoulder and then at the elf the man had placed on the table. "Sure." She laughed. "Hm." She began to look at the girl carefully. She listened to the guy and then nodded her head. "She may have not gotten enough blood..." She said lightly to herself. "It most likely is." She crossed her arms under her chest.

"Mate, we got an elf who's fainted over here, d'you mind giving us a while? I mean it's not a standard drunken fall either, might take a bit to recoup." Draxis turned away, focusing on his tracing, the glowing lighting up her unconscious body. "It might have been the lack of blood, you're right. She was trying to create life in a tree to help guard the village...silly dame should've asked for more of me- most women do." He finished his hovering over her, gauntlets fading to a normal colour. There didn't seem to be anything odd or dangerous...at least not that he could detect. He looked at the dancer again. "Not the first lass to have swooned over me y'know. Though granted they generally never black out like that...Guess I'm that irresistable." He chuckled to himself. "So what'd they call you?"

"you are this close to being hit you know" Air muttered having awoken from the brief lapse. She sat up on a table "Hi I'm Air'gen" she said holding her hand out to the man.
