Milo Everett Evelyn Larouche Marine Corps- Alpha Squad Bus ArrivalThe bus was old. Very old. It's engine seemed to spend more time coughing thick smoke clouds into the air than anything else, and the bus itself swayed from side to side like an old train car. The AC was broken and most of the windows stuck shut, and it was a hot and humid day outside, so the air in the bus was naturally rather unpleasant. Bones sat in the back of the bus, leaning against it's side as she lost herself in thought about the near future. She drew upon everything she remembered of her father's storied about the Corps, seeking to uncover some hint as to what lay in store for her in the upcoming hours, days, and months. ((Your a girl!? eek Also, you did a very good job at creating correct sentence structure, grammar, and spelling. Your characterization was good and you portrayed your personality accurately. You had some very nice descriptive language by the way. wink Congratulations, you passed!))

No, but I do use female characters from time to time. For some reason, Bones just feels to me like she should be a woman, and so she is.

Falx Meridius Army Candidate. In transit Gaian Military Force Parade Grounds
Falx remained still as the bus bounced down the road at a brisk pace. In his hands he clutched a picture of his father, uniformed. Falx was Aekean in heritage and his father headed a local militia before he died. Honor-bound to live in his father's memory Falx applied for the local branch. He was re-directed to the GMF. At first he was hesitant to join such an organization. Realizing his lack of options Falx settled for the group.
It was unusually hot in the tin box. Everyone was sweating profusely, cursing excessively and generally being a boisterous lot. Falx on the other hand preferred his quiet. Falx came and joined the Army with little idea of what he wanted from the GMF. This was a benefit in his mind, as it would make him a more versatile soldier.
Meridius pondered on what would come of him in the following days. Only time would truly tell.

Nice spelling, use of descriptive language and, your exploitation of both your poetic license and syntax helped to portray your character. By the way... I see what you did there. Yeah, I actually read it. wink Accepted! blaugh ))

Adam Wong Marines Bus stop Arrival
The bus pulled up to the marine base and the bus door creaked open in a loud manner that jerked alot of the recruits who were asleep awake. Adam scratched his head and figured that this must've been the welcome wagon and he groaned as the gunnery sergeant strolled onto the bus screaming. "GET THE HELL OFF MY BUS." In a very frightened manner the recruits were stumbling off the bus, tripping over each other and their belongings. Adam stumbled a few times and walked towards the door that had created a bottle neck of marine recruits. He fell on his face off the bus and the other recruits laughed. Little did they know...He was going to force himself to be at the top of his class..He always got the last laugh.

Essentially you don't control the bus or me. Read the AMP))

Adam Wong Marines Inside the bus Arrival
Adam sat in a seat right next to the barred window staring out at the dry farmland. A reminder of home, something he hoped to forget once he went into the front line to find his older brother who was still lost somewhere behind enemy lines. He pulled a small flask out of his pocket that was filled with water instead of the preferred whiskey or brandy that other recruits had and instead of taking a sip, he just stared at it, remembering the promise that he made to somebody to come home without getting hurt. Too bad he wasn't thinking about going home.

Billy Mitchell Army Bus Arrival
Billy was sitting in the back of the bus where it had not been cleaned lately. He looked around carefully to see if he knew anybody. As he did not recognize anyone he just slouched and looked at a picture of his older brother in uniform, who had died a couple months before. He thought to himself, "Well I guess a bullet to the head will kill a man, no matter how invincible I thought he was."
Billy sat up and looked towards the front of the bus that was bumping along the road. He thought to himself with a little sarcasm "Can this bus get there any faster?"
