Chuckles softly, "I'm on duty. So I wear it. Plus. I can't breathe this air." Glsnces about thier surroundings. "I'd prefer not to inhale toxic gas." His eyes run along her tiny frame secretly.

"Oh! I didn't realize that!" shocked by the fact that her habitat was dangerous to him in that way. "I guess we'll have to try and get you somewhere safer then." Looking around she tried thinking of a place that might be better for him. Something popped into her mind. "There's a hot spring not too far from the outer edge of the swamp. Would that be better for you?"

He took her offer into consideration, but knew that it wouldn't suffice. Shaking his head slightly, he looked off in a direction. "I think it'd be best if I got out of this swamp and tried to find one of our bases." a few electronic beeps piped as he turned on his tracking device. "do you know the way out of here, babe?"

She shook her head in response to his question. "Sorry solider, but right now your guess is as good as mine." Hanging her head and sighing she continued "I've been lost in this part of the swamp for a few days now.... Some maze boss I turned out to be." After a minute of self loathing she turned her attention back to him. "Shall we wander? or do you have a better idea? Wandering hasn't really gotten me anywhere."
