Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin Atsureki followed Sai through the halls, barely taking note of it when Sai touched the wall, for all he knew it was simply a habit of the man's. As they entered the lounging area, Atsureki almost immediately spotted the door with the symbol corresponding to his ring. As Sai explained everything Atsureki began to fully realize just how tired the journey here had made him, he was amazed that Sai would even be willing to take another trip so soon after getting back to the base.
Atsureki bowed slightly to Sai after he had finished, a yawn escaping his lips as he did so. "I understand, and I promise that I will follow the simple rules you have given. I believe that I'm going to rest up a bit while you go, but I was just wondering where I could go to train if I wake up before you come back? And if we have any, where would I find scrolls to teach myself other techniques that perhaps do not belong to my clan."

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin"Ah, yes, of course. The training room is down a large corridor, on the opposite end of the meeting room as the side that we came in. If you go down the long corridor, you'll find a wide open cave with multiple waterfalls... that is where we train. On the side of the corridor as you go down it will be several rooms, each one can be opened with your ring. Amidst those rooms, you'll be able to find all the basic elemental scrolls, from Genin level techniques to Kage level ones. Our former leaders made sure we were rather well stocked for training purposes. However, you should rest for now, it has been a long day for you. When i return, we can begin your Hyuuga training."
Not one to waste time, as soon as Sai had answered the questions he turned back down the corridor to the entrance of the base, planning his method of attack as he went. "Stealing the scrolls themselves shouldn't be the problem... it's just a matter of knowing how to properly train a Hyuuga..." with this thought in mind, he made his way slowly down the corridor, passing the fork as he left the young Hyuuga behind in the base by himself.

Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin After Sai had left, Atsureki let out another yawn, his shoulders drooping down as he finally let his body show exactly how tired he was. Making his way slowly to the room with his ring's symbol above the door, Atsureki lifted his hand limply up to the door. After a moment the door then split down the center and opened up to reveal Atsureki's room. It was a bit spartan at the moment, with only a rolled up futon, a chest of drawers, an empty scroll case, and a desk with a chair and lamp. But at the moment Atsureki could have been sleeping on a rock and he wouldn't have cared.
Atsureki dragged his feet over to the futon and unrolled it, then, without even taking the time to change out of his clothes, Atsu fell face first onto the soft futon. Within moments his breathing became rhythmic and his eyes became heavy as he fell asleep. He dreamed of himself and Haseo, but not as they were now, they were both older, but Atsu knew it was the two of them. In the dream Atsureki was touching Haseo's forehead, and in a bright flash of light the aura of the demon that lived inside him vanished. It was a good dream... but it would only ever be a dream.

Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin After many hours of sleep Atsureki finally came too. Leaning up in his bed, Atsureki wiped the sleep out of his eyes. Atsureki's eyes widened as he found himself in an unfamiliar room, but after a moment he realized where he was, the memories of leaving Sunagakure and meeting Sai coming back to him as he looked around his new room. Looking down at his right hand Atsureki eyed his new ring, his white eyes combing over the seemingly innocuous symbol that marked him as a member of the Akatsuki. Atsureki slid his legs over the side of the bed, stretching his arms as he did so. Placing his hands on his knees Atsureki rose to his feet and headed out the door; he might as well begin his training while he waited on Sai to return.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin Leading Zenko down the winding path in silence, they soon came across the fork where they had come in through the entrance and turned left. Had they come in and turned right, they would have went straight to the dorms, which is where Sai led her this time. Light filtering from ahead, the two eventually came into the foyer for the dorms. A small lunging area was immediately to the left with comfortable furniture and a table in the middle.
Straight ahead, a long corridor stretched back for about 200 ft or so, a room appearing every 30ft or so, along the wall. "As you can easily see, each ring corresponds to a room. My room is the first, the one directly across from the kitchen. Yours will be the one enxt to mine, on the right side, as that is the ring you chose, though you can see that the other's rooms will be down the corridor, on both the left and right. You'll find that most of the rooms haven't been used yet, as is the case of yours, and the one directly across from yours... which would be the Tama holder's room."
Placing his hand on the wall of the kitchen opening, he continued on... "The kitchen is well stocked with mostly anything you need. I would imagine that you eat about as much as I do considering our similar bloodlines, but you'll find everything you need in abundance here." With pretty much everything being said that needed explaining, Sai had finished, but would field any questions she had. A lot had happened, and he could imagine it was a lot to take in at the time... it had after all, been a very long, and assuredly confusing day, for the the both of them.

Yasukawa Zenko Akatsuki | Konaga Clan | Chuunin
Zenko kept quiet during most of the tour, giving the ever so common nod to ensure Sai that she was in fact listening. The Akatsuki base was large, by epic proportions, and she thought it could easily be the size of one of the hidden villages. How long had it taken to make this place? she wondered, since there wasn't exactly a doujutsu that carved out large portions out of a mountain. When shown the door where her room would be, Zenko smiled again. She chose the ring that was now in her possession because its name reminded her of Sai, and she thought it to be but a coincidence that the room she would be residing in was right by his. Of course, she wouldn't be visiting his room for quite some time, since he was uncomfortable for the moment, of invading his personal space, and property.
When led to the kitchen, a smirk crept across her face. The base had seemingly everything anyone would ever need, and it was a wonder how they kept the place so well stocked. She guessed it must be the work of paid contractors on the outside, but the abilities of the Akatsuki were mysterious, and were often surprising. The moment Sai paused, she knew that the tour he expected to make was done. Zenko began to speak. "Where is the training area?" The question was simple, but it could be answered later, since the first thing either of them would do, would be to meditate. "Of course, you can answer that question when we're both rested."

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin "It's alright." Sai said in response to her concern for having asked... "I didn't show it to you earlier, as it is in the opposite direction of the dorms from the meeting room, but there is a corridor on the other end, which leads down to the training area. The rooms off of that hallways are where all the equipment and scrolls are kept, and at the end, is the area where we train. You will see it all soon enough."
Waiting patiently once more, Sai removed his hand from the side of the kitchen and leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms in front of him as he leaned back agaisnt the wall to see if she had anything else to ask. He was ready for rest, but showed no emotion to that effect as he wanted to make sure Zenko was comfortable before leaving her to her own devices.

"Of course, I'll just be getting some rest now, since I'm sure you'd like some too." Zenko said, procuring a simple wave as she pivoted on her toes, walking towards the door to the room which she had been assigned to. She passed through the doorway after opening it, locating the futon/bed and gently gliding towards it, laying herself down on top of all of the covering. After ensuring that she was in a good position, she began to meditate, washing away all of the unneeded thoughts, and letting it drift into imaginary bliss. Having elongated the distance between her and Sai, she felt the pain grab at her momentarily before she began to drift.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin Watching her as Zenko left, Sai could feel the relief she granted fade away as she closed the door, causing him to close his eyes as his head turned fuzzy for a second, a wave of pain focused behind his eyes radiating out to his body as he felt the pain surge through him. Dwelling on it only for a second, Sai then defiantly pushed his way through the pain as he had done on countless occasions, and headed into his room, opening the door to the disheveled scene he called his room once more. Immediately, Sai felt a wave of pain as his mind flashed back to the day he had ruined his room and the pain it involved.
Coming back to reality, Sai realized that the pain would only persist every time he entered the room unless he fixed it up, so he spent some time picking up the splintered pieces of wood of his once dresser and nightstand, leaving and reentering his room many times as he dumped the wood down the incinerator, which acted as their trash disposal unit in the kitchen. Returning to the room, it was now even more spartan then before, consisting of nothing but a futon and the heated bathing trough from the hot springs which ran through the mountain path. Selene had made sure there was an outlet to the springs in each room, even if it was a small area to soak in, and Sai had always appreciated his own personal spring.
Undressing down to only a pair of white boxers, Sai washed his clothes quickly with some soap and other supplies near the spring, hanging his clothes up above the spring to dry as he finally allowed himself to sit on the futon, sitting cross-legged as he placed his hands in a meditation seal and began to process of emptying his thoughts to enter the Konaga version of sleep. eventually, after an hour or so of concentration... or more, as time's passage was blinded in his state, Sai found himself in his area of peace... the dream he had dreamt every day of his life and secretly longed for every waking moment.
Sitting up on a high bluff, Sai leaned back against a grassy hill, the blades of grass real to him, pricking the back of his neck softly as he looked out over the perfectly blue sky, dipping down into a waterfall filled ravine. A gust of wind brought the cool day's air passed him as he experienced the sounds and scents of the springtime, relaxing in the spot with a smile on his face... his curse lifted, his body capable of feeling the world around it. There was no pain... it was absolute bliss. This time however, the dream was different as he felt an arm wrap around his, though it did not seem unnatural at the time. A tingle moved through his arm as he turned to cast a smile towards Zenko who had joined him and was now leaning on his shoulder as he cast his eyes back up to the sky in time to see a flight of birds pass by, closing his eyes to their chirping voices, losing himself in the blissful moment.

Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin Atsureki walked slowly to the door leading to his room, and then held up his right hand, palm facing towards himself, allowing it to be scanned. The door then slid up into the ceiling allowing Atsureki to step inside. Taking a look around his sparsely furnished room, Atsureki sighed as the door shut behind him. Finally he let himself relax, his face taking on a tired expression. It had been a long day, but he had learned much, and he could tell that he was at least one step closer to becoming powerful enough to truly be an asset to Akatsuki.
Walking over to his bed, Atsu slumped down, placing his elbows on his knees and burying his face in his hands. It was troubling that even with the addition of a new member, Atsureki was probably still the weakest member of Akatsuki. He had made much progress it was true, but he was far from reaching his full potential. Lifting his head up, Atsu slid backwards on his bed and then crossed his legs, while at the same time bringing his hands together in a tiger seal. Taking a deep breath, Atsu closed his eyes as he forced chakra to flow towards them, where they were stopped by the chakra barrier that kept the byakuga from being constantly active. The veins surrounding his eyes began to bulge as chakra surged through them, and then with a simple thought, Atsureki opened the "gates" and allowed his chakra to pour into his eyes.
Opening them, one would notice that Atsureki's usually imperceptible pupil was now just barely visible, appearing as a thin circle in a pool of stark white. Atsureki smiled to himself as his vision expanded to encompass his entire room, save for one spot. A troubled look spread across Atsu's face, he would have to remember this weakness and take precautions to avoid it being exploited. After a moment, Atsureki focused his vision to expand to encompass everything within the dorms.
In Sai's room, the leader of Akatsuki seemed to be in a meditative state, his face blank, but there was something different. His body seemed utterly relaxed, something Atsu had never witnessed before. So this was Sai's only means of relief from his violent, painful chakra. In her new room, Atsu could see Zenko in a similarly meditative state, and like Sai she seemed more relaxed than Atsureki had yet witnessed. For both of them the difference was nearly imperceptible, but to Atsureki's eyes it was clear. As he continued to observe them, Atsureki realized that the chakra that suffused every part of their body seemed less violent, as if in this meditative state they gained some form of control over the chakra that caused them constant pain.

Akio TakamiyaAkatsuki/Special JouninAkio slipped into his room and wasted no time in stripping off; his clothes flung lazily into the corner of the room. It was only when he was completely naked that he realized he had left the door open; he could be a pervert sometimes, but he was not an exhibitionist. As he closed the door he noticed how tight and sore his muscles were; he had pushed himself when he wasn't in top form. While the time on the run had given him life experience it hadn't done much for him in terms of the proper training required to maintain one's body. Akio leaned against a wall, a shiver flying up his spine as naked flesh connected with cool stone, he crossed his arms and ran his mind over everything that had happened recently; the infiltrations, the hostages, the deals, the fights. These images and thoughts were so vivid and alive inside his mind, playing out constantly; he wasn't going to sleep at all if his mind was going to be this active. Akio sighed as the images kept playing, over and over, his arms crossed and brow furrowed, only the warmth of his flesh telling him apart from the still stone of the wall.

(damn it Auggy!!! scream ) Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin Atsu continued to expand and adjust his vision to take in as much as he could when he suddenly let out a bone-chilling scream, his byakugan de-activating on instinct as he brought his hands up to his eyes in an attempt to try and shield them from what he had already seen. "MY EYES!!! THEY BURN!!! WHY, OH DEAR GOD, WHY?", Atsureki screamed, the sight of Akio's naked form seeming to burn in his mind's eye. Curling up into a fetal position, Atsureki shuddered as he rocked back and forth muttering to himself, "the horror... the horror..."
After several hours Atsureki finally succumbed to exhaustion, falling into a sleep so deep that it was dreamless... thank god.

Yasukawa Zenko Akatsuki | Konaga Clan | Chuunin
Zenko slowly opened her eyes and rose from her meditative position, looking about with renewed vigor. Peace, and painless meditation had allowed her body to recover much of its strength that had been previously lost, although some could never be gained once more. The main problem was the Konaga inability to sleep, but instead meditate. The woes of the world had no mercy of these folk, and chose to thrust upon them more hatred and pain than pity. She brought her slender hands over her mouth to stifle an oncoming yawn, and slipped out of the room. Gradually, the memories of the events flushed back into her mind.
"Ah, what an eventful life." Zenko announced to the still air about her. The rest of the members in the Akatsuki were most likely still 'disabled,' which left her alone to wander the base. First things first though, she had to find the kitchen. No one could go off training without some food in their stomach. With that on her mind, she strode off in the opposite direction that she came from the night before in hopes of recognizing the kitchen.
It didn't take long since when she noticed the familiar wall, she knew that that was where the kitchen lay. She placed her hand on the wall like Cobra had, and walked into it when the door open. Once inside, Zenko gathered small bits of food that she rather liked and set them down at a table so that she could eat. She ate slowly, since at the same time her thought process was still running through what all had happened. Mainly, it drifted off to the thought of Sai.
She shook her head, surprised to see that all the food was gone when she had. She missed the taste of the food, instead had engorged herself in the idea of Cobra. So, putting that off momentarily she cleaned the dishes she used and put them away, walking out of the kitchen and for the library that held many of the world's known jutsu.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin His eyes opening slowly to his surrounding's once more, Sai felt the unforgiving and agonizing wave of chakra that came with every morning he had ever emerged from his meditation. His body cried out for peace, he had always known that to be the reason his dreams were as they were, and so did he himself... but only one of the means was even achievable. The thought itself surged yet another wave of pain in him as he winced terribly at the onslaught of chakra which flowed through him. In his earlier days, the pain would not have been so bad, but with the levels of chakra he now had flowing through him, the curse was merciless even with everyday activities.
His body had of course adjusted to being able to at the very least contain the pain and allow him to function, but everything else was the strength of will as Sai rose from his mattress and stretched out, meeting the day. The Akatsuki wouldn't be going anywhere for a while. With the recent fall of the Sound and cloud villages, things would be chaotic and ever shifting. such events didn't make for accurate intelligence, so they would have to bide their time. Leaving his room, Sai walking straight ahead into the kitchen, making himself a hurried, but sufficient breakfast, scarfing it down, his body casually disregarding any concept of taste or enjoyment from the meal, allowing him to eat quickly and move on as he took a slow stroll down the corridor of the Dorms, on his way to the training grounds after walking through the emptied meeting hall.
