The chamber was still for a moment bu then a spiral of sparkling pink dust rose from the floor and closed around the Skitty.
From within the mini tornado multi-colored lights pulsed out with increasing frequency until the dust scattered suddenly.
The glitter then slowed to a stop mid-air, reflecting light onto a brand new Delcatty.

Chronicler limped slowly down the halls that would take her to the Crystal Chamber. Her team had came back from the Regional ball only hours earlier to the hospital. And most of them weren't there to visit. A fight had broken out, and the team had taken heavy casualties.

The small cherubi stopped as she neared the crystal chambered, shuddering as a cold numbness ran through her body, and then passed.

Ever since her injury at Thunder Ridge, she could feel it. Her second head was shrivelling and dying. She could not tap into the nutrients stored in that head.

She had to evolve if she wanted to live.

As the spasm passed, she continued onwards. Reaching the room, she slipped in and collapsed near the entrance.

"Please...I need to evolve..."

((Also, I have an eevee recruit and a frozen stone. Want to introduce a character as a Glaceon who's evolved years ago already~

I have 14 MP, so all I need now is at least 1 from Chapter 10. Feel free to wait until after Chapter 10 gets resolved before evolving Chronicler and the eevee~))

As Amani held up the stone; a great swirling cloud formed overhead. Lightning bolts soon shooting violently and aimlessly from it. (Probably a good time for Jessica to be aware of the metallic objects on her). Soon enough one of the said bolts then struck the stone, being one of the higher points in the room, the jolt traveling down straight into Amani's small body and enveloping him in a great light, and with the blink of an eye he was a Raichu.

The room lit up as if the sun itself had been placed in this chamber made of crystals. She shielded her eyes as she felt her body transform. Her second head shrunk, giving a final sigh as its job is finally completed.

The leaf on her head soaked in the light, producing more food than it has probably ever produce in her entire life. Petals sprouted from her back, enveloping her. She felt warm, comfortable, and safe.

Sighing in content, as the light finally faded, the Cherrim simply slumped to the floor, wrapped in her protective petals, feeling the life that and energy that course through her body for the first time in weeks. She simply just laid there, ignoring the voices of other Pokemon that had come in.

She stayed perfectly still as she felt lightning in the room though, and she shrunk slightly to try and stay safe. Ever since her mission at Thunder Ridge, she has an understandable fear of electricity.

And finally the lightning ended, the voices faded, and she was alone once more in the dark and dormant Crystal Chamber. The Cherrim got to her feet, and called upon all her powers to bring sunlight into the room again. She gathered the energy in her leaves and let it out until the entire room was aglow once more.

She unfurled her petals, taking her first look at the world through the eyes of a Cherrim.



"Thank you..." She whispered to the chamber, looking down to admire herself with a smile. And then she left the Chamber, determined to look over the team until everyone recovered.

Several of the crystals around Zerca began to bubble and melt. As they formed puddles, they began to move towards the Croconaw. The liquid crystal began to travel up her body from her legs and her tail, up to her head. It then crystallized, and shattered. Standing there was now a very stunning Feraligatr.

Evolution... it was meant to be a very special moment, where pokemon stepped forward to be changed in ways that they couldn't predict in hopes of being stronger, looking different, or bringing about any number of changes in their lives. It was incredibly important... so why was he so devoid of excitement? Or really, any kind of feeling at all?
Carrying a Sun Ribbon in his paws, Tavian frowned a little as he glanced around the Chamber; it was a gorgeous place, truly awe-inspiring, but he still didn't feel anything, not even fear. Evolution had always been something he knew he would do eventually, and he realized that it was probably for the best, but he'd been just fine as a Riolu for so long it was a little hard to think of suddenly changing himself who knows how much, just because it was the accepted thing to do. That was probably his problem right there: he didn't have any real motive for evolving.

Now standing in the middle of the room, the Riolu looked around at the numerous crystals one last time and then sighed; still nothing. Oh well, maybe there were a handful of pokemon who just didn't get worked up by evolving, maybe he'd feel differently after it was over. But that was kind of what he was afraid of.
"Alright then," he said, shrugging, "I suppose I'd like to evolve please."
