Lisa wrapped a white towel around her hair and dried off the rest of her body with the soft towel. She dressed quickly in fresh under clothes and ran to grab her frilly shirt that was of a off white color. She found her vest, and her teared, frilly skirt. This suit she called her anime suit, it made her feel cute. She loved how the skirt flipped and twirled around her ankles. She found her cat ears and brought them back into the bathroom area.
She took all of her hair in the towel and rubbed it round and round till it felt somewhat dry. She then brushed it and using her fingers combed though it, tossing it, ruffling it to get a cute curly look. She then gathered her hair in her hands and put the band for the ears around it. She lifted the ears up onto her head. She ran her fingers though her hair once more to style it.
Taking the hair dryer she ran it over her hair a couple times so it was a little more dry and would not stain her shirt or the blue vest she still had not tied up. Happy with her hair she turned to the vest which she fastened with expert hands. It was almost like a corset, and she tightened it as such to the point where it was somewhat tight, but breathable.
A couple sprays of perfume on her wrist set her costume. She smiled, content with her appearance. Lisa was not big on make up, she might use some for later cosplay, but now she would let her natural rosy cheeks smile with out the cover of cosmetics. She was ready. Entering the main room where the bed was she looked at the clock. It was already 4:47. "Oh, dang it!" She hurriedly removed her laptop from her bag and hid it in the closet. She rushed back to grab her back pack and remove some other things, all the while thinking to herself, I'm late!

Dan was already out in the hallway. He looked down at the Timex watch on his wrist and realized it said 16:50. He liked the military time system by now. There was no confusion of am and pm at a quick glimpse. Not that he had to worry about reports in that sense anymore. He had been standing out in the hall for a good 7 minutes by his reckoning but that was okay. After all she was only 5 minutes late so far. After living in an all female family he understood sometimes it took girls a little longer then they expected.

Lisa, finally content with the lack of contents in her bag, and happy with the places she had everything stored, swung her backpack up onto her shoulder and headed for the door. She slipped her shoes on over her socks and opened the door, almost surprised to see Dan standing there. She bowed before him. "Oh gosh Dan I'm so sorry for making you wait, you haven't been waiting too long have you?" Her cheeks took on an extra rosy glow. She took another step forward, closing the room door behind her and checking to make sure it was locked.
She turned to face Dan. Her eyes began to skim over him. He looked very presentable, very sweet and charming. He looked like a gentleman. Suddenly she felt foolish dressing up as she did, but it was too late now to go back and fix it. "Y-You look very nice Dan." Lisa said smiling at him.

"I am glad you think so. You look lovely as well. Of course I don't know if anything can really look bad on you." Dan said with a chuckle. It was a corny comeback but he meant it word by word. He crooked his arm to her to see if she would take it and smiled. "Well then shall we be off then? I am looking forward to getting this whole registration thing done with."

Lisa looked up at Dan and smiled, shaking her head in amazement. "You're just as I've always known you." She said softly, and smiled at him. Her eyes danced happily and without holding back for too long she reached up and linked arms with Dan. "I think so, let's go get registered!" She looked forward towards the elevators, a deep blush filled her cheeks. His compliments meant a lot to her. She had the brief image of her laying her head against his shoulder, but shrugged it off. She shook her head slightly and looked up at him.

Dan simply laughed and said thanks at her comment. He was never the type to be dishonest to anyone unless the truth would be much worse and with Lisa the truth was never bad. As the elevator door opened Dan looked down as Lisa looked up. Their eyes met and he could feel his heart beating again.
"After you my dear." Dan said as he put his arm out to stop the elevator door from closing on this moment between them. As much as he thought he liked her they still had things to do. Maybe tonight everything will turn out alright.

Lisa laughed softly, somewhat nervously, but happily too. Her mind was amok with emotions coming in from every side. She skipped lightly inside the elevator with a graceful twirl so that she was turned and facing him. As she spun her skirt, tears and all, wrinkled and twisted along with her. The movement could be seen as fluid, graceful maybe even.
"Are you coming?" She asked stepping to the side to let Dan join her in the elevator. She couldn't help the way she was acting, it could be seen as flirtatious, maybe. What did he think of her? Was she being too much herself? Was she acting out too much? She didn't know how to act, maybe she would just continue with what she was doing. That seemed like a good idea.

"Of course. How can I let you go out on your own when we have so nany memories to share." Dan said as he nodded and entered the elevator after Lisa asked. She seemed very graceful in his mind and her laughs were cute. He thought for sure this must be what real love felt like but he had to make sure it was not one sided and he wondered how things would happen when he goes home after all the things that happen this week. He didn't want to worry about it and hoped she wouldn't be worrying about the same thing.

Lisa laughed and looked up at him once he entered. She waited for the door to close before she pressed the button "L" for lobby. It was only a short matter of time before they were there and the doors were opening. Grabbing Dan's hand she pulled him out of the elevator and towards the door that would lead for the street. "So do you know what kind of food you would like tonight?" Lisa asked as they made their way to the door.

"I thought you said you wanted Dutch food tonight." Dan said confused as they made their way outside. "Did you change your mind because we can look around for something on our way to the registration." He squeezed her hand gently knowing now he wouldn't accidentally hurt her. It was fun running after her hand in hand.

Lisa blinked, surprised by Dan's response. "Er, that was not what I meant by that." She said with a nervous laugh. "Dutch, by the terms I was using it, means that I pay for my food and you for yours. Honestly I forgot what kind of food there is around here." She smiled up at him and squeezed his hand back. "You're so silly Dan, that makes you all the more enjoyable to be around!" She giggled for a second longer to herself. He was a sweet guy for sure.

"Oh yeah? Well I don't feel so bad for not knowing what Dutch food was like. All I could think of was those butter cookies they put out round Christmas." Dam said with an equally nervous laugh. Then when she complimented him he smiled brightly as they ran off into the misty fog that settled the world around them onward there goal. "I can eat anything my stmach is made of cast iron if the food makes its way to it."

"So is that like saying that I get to choose where we eat?" She asked with a hint of curiosity, and a glance towards him. With the fog that had moved in she really had to concentrate and remember where it was that she was heading. It wasn't far from this hotel. It should only take a few minutes she figured. On the other side of the street she could see people in costume walking down the street in the same direction as them. "Hey Dan, do you see that?" She asked with a gesture in that direction.

Dan nodded first to her inquiry to food. He was a little embarrassed that he didn't research eateries in the area before coming. Since Lisa had been here before he had confidence she could remember something from her previous visit or they could talk about foods they like. They haven't really done that online. So it would be interesting to see.
Suddenly she she gestured in a direction to ask him if he saw something and Dan focused his eyes as she guided him. "Wait...are those cosplayers? Are they getting registered in costume or are they just fooling around?" Dan asked as the colorfully attired people moved on the same path.

Lisa giggled. "Those are cosplayers. They go to the convention dressed like that. Even for registration. There will be a whole lot more when we get to registration I can assure you." She patted his hand gently. "It is really cool to see all of the people dressed up! I think that you will like that!"
Lisa was also searching the street for signs of food. There was a pizza parlor across the street. There was a Mexican restaurant, a seafood place. "Wow, there are a lot of places that we could eat around here." She said as her eyes went from one glowing sign to another. "Is anything calling to you?" She asked trying to avoid looking up at Dan again.
