Avaerie
I read the first Twilight book five years ago, and I actually enjoyed it. Then it started popping up everywhere I went and three years later I heard a movie was fixated and s**t and EGHH it was disgusting. I mean it was an okay book, I didn't really hate it or anything. But it became so overrated and all fussed about, it didn't deserve the kind of attention it got. And I hate fangirls. They have no point.

i acctually liked all the twilight books before it became a thing and everyone started talkinga bout it, then the movies just ruined it all.

I actually read 4 of the Twilight books.
The first one, when it first hit bookshelves.
I thought the first one was decent, considering it was your typical teen-sad-excuse-for-fantasy-romance novel but then as I read the rest I realized how poorly written and really quite awful all of them are. The plot is the same in all the books, except for minor changes, there is absolutely NO character development, After the 2nd book, there are no new character introduced to keep things interesting. And the ending to the series was ridiculous. I mean I applaud her for her efforts in trying to make an entire book about an 18/19 year old pregnant girl and a clan of pissed off vampires interesting but it didn't work.
Most things that are this terrible and should have no place on this earth, I tend to ignore and act like they've disappeared forever but all this ******** hype makes it rather ridiculous. I'm also a DIE-HARD Harry Potter fan and have been for the last 11 years and so I get really irritated when people even try to make it a competition between the two. Seriously?

And the movies....I can't even talk about those.

I first read the Twilight books when i was in 6th grade and an 8th grader was reading it.
IT was good when i read it ^.^ so my mom bought them for me to read.
They were pretty good if you ask me.
Then it started going down hill when they made movies out of them =_=
My sister and mom make me tell them what is going to happen next in the movies and my mom won't shut up about Edward.
To tell you the truth.I hate the books now because of the movies. =_=

I read the first book not too long ago.

The book was kinda good. But the movies. EWW. Okay? DUMB. I just- UGH. MY best friend is in love with the series, I pity her. :/ You know there's a book parody? It's called Nightlight. Hella funny and better than the original -_-

The sparkling fairies in Twilight are vampire-wannabes while the shapeshifter posers in it are werewolf-wannabes.

I refuse to say that the "vampires" on Twilight are indeed vampires.
they are nothing like the original vampires, SMeyer literally just took vampires, got rid of all their weaknesses and faults to make her perfect dream guy. Speaking of which she is in LOVE with her creations and even told her husband that she would leave him for Edward or Jacob in a heartbeat, meh Edward is the result of her wet dream.
I don't know maybe I just think its creepy that people are reading and enjoying her wet dream written on paper.
Also not to mention it's horrible character design and its empty plot that only gets interesting near the end.
Yes I have read the books, and I saw the first movie

Take that Twitards whom claim that there is no reason to hate Twilight!
/rant/stating my opinion

I would post pics but all of them are on the other computer @.@

i never ead the books.
i saw the 1,2.
the 3rd one that supposed to be coming out is having people excited.
people at my college hate it.

i dont like the first one.
i dont like the second one except the fighting (i love fights in movies)
. i will not see the 3rd unless im forced. the new one looks inapporitre cuz edward is like ******** bella on the commerical and teens shouldnt see that since parents dont watn their kid having sex til like they are married or something. also people was getting pissed cuz their 12 yearolds was trying to get super skinny like bella on that movie after she had the kid or before it. (doesnt know).

i HATE that they did the vampires like s**t. vampires dont ******** sparkle. seriously. its so uncool and stuff, she didnt do research at all. and bella is like fake. she supposed to be like teens but shes like nothing or maybe shes all the negative of a teen. idk. also the love is fake, the love traingle is annoying. the guys arent sexy and its annoying seeing them ripp their shirts off to impress the whoreish girl thats always depressed and looking sick (im not dissing on people that are depressed cuz i be at times. just hating bella). i could go on and on about this but i wont.

There was nothing wrong with Twilight. It was just another one of those vampire love stories. The fangirls are to blame. emotion_donotwant

i thought the books were good (1-3), but then i read it again. oh god, noone let me read that ever again. first of all, the characters are shallow, and apparently dismantling someone's vehicle so they can't see their friends is perfectly okay if they're in ~~love~~ and it's so romantic when they talk about aborting someone's baby without the mother's consent! yeah, if she wants to have the baby, let her have the goddamn baby. bella has no backbone, edward's a stalker, and jacob's creepy. he gave a little girl a f*cking promise ring. uh, no, back away from the little girl.

don't get me started on the rest of the problems.

and can we mention the fact that people actually thought stephanie meyer came up with vampires? ha, no.

I agree with you.

I myself never read the books all the way threw, I read a synopsis of the book and could not take it. After I started to edit the book, which is really hard to do since there isn't much to work with in the first place.

I read Twilight before New Moon even came out. It was an enjoyable, easy enough read. I read all the other books after too. I liked them enough.

But I can't for the life of me re-read them. I think it was when I started associating Edward with an abusive ex of mine. They had a lot of the same traits. gonk

I still enjoyed the last move and New Moon to an extent. They more so remind me of a happy moment in time and can enjoy them with friends, but I'm not above making fun of them and enjoy watching parodies on youtube more than anything.
