Backing up, Luo shrugged to the boy before nodding to indicate he was going to move he performed the same attack, except this time he slashed downward vertically. He hoped the boy would respond quickly..

Kanzuki took a deep breath as he got his katana ready and closed his eyes the list ran through his head once more, " Liver, Lungs, Spine, Clavical vein, Neck vein, Brain, Kindneys, Heart" he thought to himself once more, but that when he saw something that looked almost like an outline of the dummy in on the outline were 8 glowing red dots, the 8 Vital Points! Kanzuki quickly went about his duty as he hacked through each glowing red dot in his mind faster then he did when he had his eyes open. As he cut through the last point he returned his katana to his sheath and opened his eyes. This one was less of a mess then the last one he did in, but where each vital point was, there was a nice clear gash, he had been much more precise this time around. He turned to the clone of the Kage and awaited more lessions.

Yamatano was a little more aware of his daggers, and flipped the left one in his hand to block the incoming dagger, slashing low with the other free one

Clapping slowly three times, the clone nodded towards Kanzuki as he spoke once more. "Good job Kanzuki. Now it is time to take lines and spacing, and in a sense make it 3D. Incorporate flips and spins into you attack style, however do this using vertical and horizontal spacing at the same time. You will practice this with me attacking." Nodding, the clone moved a a slow jog for him, but a sprint for the boy, stopping short to flip upwards, bringing his sword down vertically on the boy. His attack was dynamic, but his landing and attack were perfectly within a straight line. Had he remained on the ground, the attack would have been a straight path. It was what he wanted Kanzuki to do.

Kanzuki thought on his toes," If I try to block that it could shatter the blade..or worse" he thought, thus there was only one thing he could do, he jumped in the opposite direction of clone and flipped in mid air so that he was parallel with the clone, with both his hands on his katana he brought the katana up over his head and then arced it around sending the blade straight for the clones gut.

As the boy countered and attacked, Luo flipped backwards on one hand, blocking the boy's dagger with his foot. He then completed the flip, slicing upwards with his left hand this time, and sliced high at the boy's cheek with his right as his robe ruffled with each movement he made.

(are we not taking into account the bonus for training at our village training facility? you know that learning new things takes two less posts if it's at you villages training facility, it says so at the very bottom of the POTS rule book)
Kaizen finally arrived at the training facility, but LT was no where to be found. He asked the secretary at the front desk where the Mizukage and his friends were and she pointed him in the right direction. Once he made his way into the training room, Kai bowed to the Mizukage and said to him, "Sorry I'm late sir, a black cat crossed mine and LT's path, so he decided to go the long way. I tried to convince him it would be fine, but he insisted." Kai sighed a bit at the thought, LT-sensei sure is strange, he thought to himself.

Yamatano backed away from the left dagger, allowing it to swing away from him, while he raised his left dagger and blocked the Kage's dagger a mere inch from his face. He knew that If he had been slower, he wouldve had his face sliced open. Using his right dagger he attempted the same upward slash he saw the Kage use

LT finally arrived from his lodge with a bundle cradled in his arms and of course he was late, that was his thing, being late. He wasnt always proud of it, and he wasnt always late, there would be plenty of times that he should up to a fight, but he was usually not the first one there. LT walked into the lobby and nodded to the women at the front desk. He saw a few shinobi training around the area and noticed the mizukage training as well.
LT called out "Kai, Kan, come here please."

Kai looked over his shoulder as LT called his name, then walked over to him with an excited smile on his face. He was finally going to begin the training he had been waiting for, soon he would be a full-fledged shinobi of the mist. He bowed to LT as he got closer, then asked in a voice that was just as excited as his smile, "What are we starting with, Sensei?"

LT nodded toward Kai, and knelt on the floor mats, laying the bundle of cloth out before him. "Sorry im late getting here, i decided to swing by my house to pick up some gifts for my mist sword style students." LT unwrapped the cloth before him which produced two Katana's that were expertly crafted by some masters of forging. The two katana were bright in the light, and yet showed the fact of there deadly precision. LT drew one of the blades partly from its sheath and checked the weapon like an expert before handing one to Kai. "This is for you. These are not any special swords but they are made by experts and master craftsmen. Meaning they are more durable, deadly and more powerful than those normal katanas you find elsewhere. These are made with some of the lightest yet most powerful metals in this earth."
LT sighed as he hope his words would sink into his students' hearts and minds, "But yet as i give you this weapon, it is nothing with out the hands of the swordsman who wields it. IT IS NOTHING if you dont know how to use it. It would have no effect if the man your fighting is using the shittyest blade in the world, but if he knows how to use it... your dead. Remember, the blade is only as good as its wielder. Do you understand?"

Kai bowed as he took the sheathed blade in both hands. As he rose back up he ran his hand up the length of the sheath admiring the craftsmanship. After LT had finished Kai simply nodded, his face solemn as he absorbed the meaning of LT's words. Looking back at the blade, Kai grabbed hold of the hilt as he held the blade directly out in front of him, parallel to the ground. He slowly began to remove the blade from its sheath until he had revealed about one third of the blade, then in a quick motion he drew the sword completely from the sheath and pointed the blade so that its tip was pointing towards the sky. Kaizen admired the craftsmanship as the light of the sun, glinted off of the finely worked metal. In a voice filled with awe, Kai then said to LT, "Thank you Sensei, you honor me with this fine weapon."

"And with that weapon, you will soon honor the people of the Mist. Okay, now it is time to train, go ahead and get a feel for the blade, swing it around. Move with it, run with it, try do roles and jumps and other thing with the blade while its drawn." LT folded his arms and waited for his student to get a feel for the weapon. The three headbands of LT twirled slightly from the movements.

The user is at the most basic level in terms of speed and strength. Though a bit faster and stronger than most other shinobi at the same level, it is nothing amazing. The most the user can do at the moment is just swing his blade(s) around.

Kai nodded then fastened the sheath of his weapon to his belt. Kai then slid his right foot forward and to the right a bit as he grabbed hold of the blade with both hands, slowly moving it to his five o'clock. He bent his knees slightly and took in a deep breath. Then he launched himself forward with his left foot, running about ten feet and then bringing the blade up in a diagonal slash. Then taking hold of the blade with only his right hand, Kai rolled to the side then pushed himself off of the ground with his left hand. As soon as his feet hit the ground Kai launched himself forward once more, and cocked his right arm back in preparation to swing. As he swung his arm around Kai spun on his feet, adding extra speed and momentum to his strike. He slid backwards a few feet facing the direction he had just come from, as he came to a stop Kai bent his knees until they were just inches from the ground. Then in another burst of speed Kai propelled himself forward and through the air, lifting the sword above his head and then bringing it down in a mighty over-head swing. Kai on the ground, with his sword's tip just inches from the soft grass, he then looked over to LT and smiled, "how was that?"
