Yamatano dispelled the genjutsu from himself and looked to the person who had just opened the door and sat at the desk. He had on the robes of the mizukage, which probably made him the Mizukage. "Holy crap its the Mizukage!" Yamatano thought as he hurried to a bowing stance, saying "G-greetings, Mizukage-sama. Forgive us for intruding in your office."

Reading over a few documents laid out on his desk, Luo looked up finally after a moment of silence after the boy's greeting. Genuinely smiling, Luo nodded towards the boy, waving his hand limply to indicate a sort of "I don't care" motion. "Yare Yare, don't worry about it. Just don't make it a habit. What is your name?"

"Y-yamatano Hatake. It is an honor to meet you, Lord Mizukage." He said.

"As is to meet you Yamatano Hatake. My only wish from you as of now is to simply refer to me as 'Mizukage'. I am nothing of the supernatural, nor a domineering shogun, so the lord is highly unnecessary. Have you found your academy training to be up to par with your expectations Hatake?"

"Yes sir, the training is excellent. LT-sensei here is teaching us a lot of useful things, although ninjutsu has yet to be covered." He said, slightly aiming the last part at LT.

Luo let out a low-toned chuckle within his closed mouth. "I see. However, there are more components to a ninja than ninjutsu. You will come to realize that ninjutsu is not always the useful method. It'll be covered soon enough."

"As you say, sir. By the way, if your hungry there are three bowls of ramen on your desk that we had to get for a training mission."

Looking at the utterly exhausted academy students and then back at the bowls, Luo shook his head slowly with a laugh. "You three seem to need it more than I do. When you're done learning that genjutsu, you three can sit and eat to restore some strength and chakra." The kids didn't know it, but in reality the ramen was always meant for the students, or rather the ones the kage in question found to have enough manners to deserve it.

"I suppose your right, sir. Although, I dunno if I could eat anymore." he said, remembering back to that morning, eating 11 bowls and 20 sushi rolls. his stomach began huring just thinking about it.

"Mizukage, It is an honor to see you again. I knew the training grounds would have been a smarter choice for the students but i figured you would like to meet your up coming ninja of the mist sir. If it is your command i will take the lessons back to the academy." LT bowed at the presence of one if not the most powerful ninja of Kirigakure. Seeing Luo again reminded him of his second squad when he first met his squad-mates Zane, and Luo. Zane was the one who always ran into battle head first, while Luo came in perfect timing and skill, and LT would always show up late and almost miss everything. Its funny how that squad was Zane's and Luo's first squad, but it was LT's second, and its even more hilarious that both Luo and Zane are younger than him and yet, have surpassed him greatly. LT straightened and relaxed, the three headbands of his first squad hung around his figure as he awaited orders from the mizukage, "How is your coffee?"

Removing the hat finally, Luo raised an eyebrow towards LT as he thoght about how much the hat annoyed him. "Why are you so formal with me LT? We were once squad mates, and you're older than me. I understand that the kage before me was older and our sensei, but I don't mind you calling me by first name, you've earned at least that much as a captain. But the coffee is great as usual, thank you LT." Luo sighed looking at the kids. There weren't many men alive Luo respected, but Tares was one of them. He had more experience than Luo and was as respectful as him as well. "It's fine that they're here, as usual you've predicted my thought process before it occurred. Do you have any idea where that Sannin of mine is?"

Luo sighed more to himself than anyone else in the room. "To be honest, I haven't met him either. I understand his title gives him the freedom to come and go as he pleases, but you would think that by now the man would have dropped by to introduce himself to the new Mizukage. But no matter. Do me a favor and remind me of this conversation after I've tested the academy students if I don't remind you first." Staring at the papers on his desk, Luo was reminded of how much he joked around with his sensei about the irony in his position as the strongest and most diplomatically intelligent ninja in the village, and yet this honor and the title of Mizukage granted him nothing more than to be reduced to a desk and paperwork. In all honesty, Luo took the position out of necessity for what was best for Kiri. It was a position he never really cared for, preferring having the time and freedom he once did as a saanin. However, being taught and mentored by the former Mizukage himself, Luo couldn't help but feel an obligation to his people to take the position when the council offered it to him. He now found himself being a living irony, sitting behind a desk and filling out paperwork he snickered over but a month ago. It wasn't self loathing that prompted this lenghthy thought process, but rather the moment he looked at the three academy students before him. Perhaps one day they will too laugh at themselves behind this desk.

As the Mizukage walked into the room Kai stopped to bow towards this most of shinobi. While he looked to the floor he could see that his clone was still moving around from the corner of his eye. He looked up to look at his clone and saw that it's eyes were crossed and it was still stumbling around confusedly. Kai's face contorted in frustration at his clone's stupidity, so he reached up and backhanded the clone, saying "show some respect you idiot!" Of course as his hand made contact with the clone it dissipated in a puff of smoke. Kai then looked up at the Mizukage and said to him, "My name is Kaizen Minoru, it is an honor to meet you Lord Mizukage."
