Sosay quickly got up and walked in between the two fighting boys. She raised both her fists and punched them both in the arm, and not gently. "There. Now I suggest you both learn to get along! We are all form the same village! Actually I have a way for you both to get along and maybe work together. But you'll both have to want to do it!" she stated, her arms now at her sides. She was beginning to get a little mad at all of the fighting they were doing. Heck they were starting to sound like an old married couple.

Ken raised an eyebrow at Kano. Since when did be occupied become making an excuse?
Before he had the chance to ask that same question, Sosay stopped them. He shrugged. "With all due respect, Sosay, I don't really need to get along with him at the moment...unless he's an exceptionally poor Genin, he'll be moving on to Chunin when I'm a Genin, meaning we won't do missions together." he pointed out. Not that he didn't want to...he just found that this man's lack of tact and constant stubbornness annoying.

Kano looked at his arm after being punched by sosay "ow much?" Kano laughed then looked towards sosay "well i would like to know what this "thing" your talking about and what are you talking about me and ken are best buds cant you tell" Kano said with the utmost sarcasm kano then looked at ken "Really occupied because your sitting down at a ramen shop talking, it doesnt really look that occupying to me"

"What are you talking about?" Ken asked, frowning a little. Ken had not used the word occupied at all, nor said he was...he simply said he already had a spar with Sosay and would take him up on his offer later.

Ken looked at the man, bewildered. He hadn't said that out loud. He had had a thought to that effect, but had never said that.

Ken gave a low whistle. "Are you hard of hearing, or do you just not listen?" he asked.
"I told you that I've already got a spar with Sosay, and I'll take you up on your offer later, probably sometime this week, when I feel like it." he said.

Something with this kid's attitude made Ken want to punch him across the jaw. Was it the way he took everything too literally, like a very young child? Maybe. Or maybe it was his constant stubborn attitude. Or the way he would not just leave him alone, and instead smugly dissect everything he said.
He bit his tongue (in a figurative sense because I just know you'd write something about it being literal in your post) and instead turned to order a glass of water from the owner.

Kano was no fan of ken he did not like how he just got this vibe about him being a scrub and kano hoped to never be caught in a fight with ken as a partner for he did not want to have to pick up his slack "No response, didnt your mom ever tell you it was ride to not respond when spoken too." Kano smirked then returned to his ramen once again.

Ken took the glass of water with a word of thanks. "She didn't." he said, taking a sip. "The same way yours neglected to teach you to be nice to people, learn to leave them alone, not insult them or their friends, and not be a smug little p***k all the time." he said.

Ken's only response was a simple shrug. True enough, but had the man known a term known as common courtesy, he could have waited until Ken and Sosay had parted ways for the day, especially seeing as they had specifically left him to continue a conversation.

Kano laughed "a simple shrug huh thats ok you kinda strike me as the nothing to say type except when your being ignorant of course haha" wow this little kid is so ridiculous he takes everything to revolve around him and likes to blow things out of proportion.
