A very good point, here is my ruling and I'll be sure to put this in the shinobi types section. Jutsu learning bonuses cannot stack, you take the greater of the two bonuses and that's it.
Also I'm sorry that this wasn't clear in the description but chakra control only lowers the chakra cost of jutsu when being used by one rank, but only if the jutsu is one rank above your current rank or lower. So a genin can use a genin level jutsu and it will cost the same as an academy level jutsu, or a chunin levle jutsu and it will cost the same as a genin level jutsu, but a jounin level jutsu would cost the same as it would for anyone else.
The Tactical ninja ability to reduce the rank of the jutsu when learning works in a very similar way except only for jutsu your rank or below. So as a genin you would be able to learn a genin level jutsu as if it were an academy level, but a chunin level jutsu would still take the 8 posts (not taking into account the four less posts for being a tactical ninja)
Also yes the minimum number of posts to learn any jutsu is 1, and all learning posts should be at least 4 sentences long.
I hope this makes sense, and I really appreciate you bringing up these points, it's really important for us to fix these issues while the guild is relatively young.

Another question.
If I have a sword that has no special effects do I have to fill out a custom weapon form? It's just a lightweight blade that has sentimental value.

Kunoichi: do you mean the try-outs? they are in the main forum
Live: if your sword has no special abilities or anything (as in it can't burst into fire or something like this) then no you don't need to apply for a custom, but if it has special properties as far as the materials it's made from or the way it's designed then you need to make this clear in the description of your weapon in your profile

ok so im new to gaia and i remember seeing on here that the way to get a custom bloodline was to send money to someone. however i cant send money cause i dont have a trading pass. it says i cant get a trading pass till three days from now. can i like donate the money it to the guild instead?
