Haseo took a look at the scroll before hearing Hiniko's laugh. Not bothering to ask what that was about, he saw two fairly useful techniques that he saw. "Katon Ichi (Fire release one)...and Houka Hira no Jutsu (Flaming Palm)," he stated simply.

Vincent Darko ignored whatever commotion was going on in the classrooms and picked his seat and began to look through one of the scrolls that said the basics of what he was to learn.

"Ninjutsu" He read to himself, "refers to any technique that utilizes chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are real. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

"Genjutsu are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, Genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.

"This is often used to create false images or to cause pain from trauma (because the body is led to believe it is in pain); however, there are plenty of other uses depending on the situation.

"Among Genjutsu's are what are called "Dojutsu" which literally means "eye technique" in which a ninja being gifted with a bloodline ability can use their eyes in capacities that exceed most others.

"Taijutsu is a basic form of jutsu that generally speaking requires no chakra, but chakra may be used to enhance techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put, hand-to-hand combat, or weaponry."

Vincent took in the information and went on to the basic Jutsus that an academy student is supposed to learn:

"Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu)," He read, "Kawarimi no Jutsu (Substitution Jutsu), and Bushin no Jutsu (Clone Jutsu)."

Looking them over he thought to himself, "there's work to be done."

"Vincent" He introduced himself to Matsuya Komihaci, "Vincent Darko. My hobbies...I have a few but they are best not mentioned here. I want to be a shinobi to aid and protect those who cannot do so for themselves."

Vincent nodded and stood up from his desk and began to practice the clone jutsu.

He had read in the scroll the various hand signs used to perform any kind of technique but for this particular one it required the hand seals ram, snake, and tiger. Carefully he began to go over the hand seals one by one. At first slowly.

"Ram," he said to himself, "Snake...Tiger."

Then he began to move them faster.

"Ram-Snake-Tiger."

At last he felt that he was done.

"Ram-Snake-Tiger," he said to himself as he moved the hand seals into position and then called out, "Bunshin No Jutsu!"

In a puff of white he saw a clone copy standing next to him. It nearly looked like him aside from a few "minor" flaws. The biggest flaw was that his clone was incredibly obese and lying down on the floor.

After Vincent had attempted his Clone Jutsu he had gone over to a young girl who seemed a little younger than him and had whitish hair. Who was laying sweating with the training scroll on the floor.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

He understood that it was a stupid question but he had to ask her because there was something about seeing someone in pain and in need that sparked that drive within him.

(Sorry I should have read a little more closely. By the way if this character has medicine and needs medicine would any medical authorities - i.e. academy nurse - know about it?)

Vincent bent down and picked up the girl into his arms and made a mad dash out into the hallway and to the nurses office.

"What's wrong?" The nurse asked.

"She passed out," Vincent said as he laid her on one of the nearby beds.
