((Well, I'd say it's time I take charge of my school again and get the ball rolling with things. First things first though, let me just say it feels awesome to be back, and I will do my very best to stay active with everyone here.))

Perivia was sitting behind her desk, pouring over a particular report that was at least 12 pages long. It was detailing the accounts of Alpha team's reconnaissance mission. They had been charged with looking into the disturbances happening in large cities, such as Vienna. Apparently there was a large beast on the move, and it was out for blood. It went from city to city, destroying everything in it's path. Vienna had already been leveled, and now Hamburg seemed to be a viable spot for it's next attack. There were several pictures of the beast itself included in the report, but they were far off and somewhat distorted. Whether that was the beast's doing or simply from the sheer amount of smoke and heat it left from the destruction was anyone's guess. However, it was clear that it was canine in nature. But this was exactly what troubled Perivia about the whole situation. A Yokai that size hadn't been seen since the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War 2, and even then it was a collective effort of all the surviving Yokai to form such a massive construct.

Perivia sat back after she had logged the boring statistics into her brain. Over 1 million dead, 600 thousand injured, 30 billion dollars worth of damage, and a completely unnecessary panic on the international news network. Such a mess, Perivia thought to herself. Perivia sat forward once again to look at one piece of information she had missed near the end. Projected Direction: West by North West. ...Perivia thought about that for a minute. West by North West? At that rate the beast would carve a swathe straight through Germany. Perivia went into her desk and pulled out a world map. She looked at where Vienna was, and then followed her finger along the general direction the beast was taking. Perivia could barely hold back a groan as she saw where her finger was heading straight for. "Why does that not surprise me?" Perivia said to herself with a definite tone of aggravation in her voice. Her finger had stopped right over Denmark, almost exactly where Mystic Fountain High was located.

Perivia sat back in her chair again and rubbed her temples in frustration. How that klutz of a dragon became Headmaster I'll never know, she thought to herself as memories of various other 'incidents' concerning that school replayed in her head. All of them had been incredibly tedious to deal with, many dangerous, and many more could have easily been avoided had the Headmaster over there employed any semblance of common sense.

Perivia let her hands drop to her sides and stroke the fur of her cloak absentmindedly. She'd no doubt have to deal with this problem at some point, but for now it held no immediate threat to the school or her plans. She had not the time, resources, and certainly not the patience to deal with it, so she decided to let it be for now. She'd keep tabs on it, naturally. It was her nature to know everything she could about everything, lest one angle be exploited against her. But for now she decided to let Ialo deal with if he so chose. Which he probably won't, Perivia thought to herself as she stood up from her chair and walked over to the window. Perivia looked down at the school grounds, watching as the students went about their social lives, many of them unaware that they were always being watched by someone within the school. Perivia smiled at the youthful tendencies shown by many of her students. It was good that they retained some semblance of normalcy in this setting. Chaotic assassins were useful tools at times, but are hard to control. Sane, logical thinkers worked much more nicely when put into trying situations.

But the student's carefree activities would soon come to an end for now, because the next bell for class would ring in about 5 seconds. Perivia stayed at the window for the short time before the massive bells in the belfry tolled out their sepulchral voices for the whole campus to hear. Perivia watched as many of them rushed to their classrooms, some running, others materializing, and some even transforming into faster creatures to make it to class on time. It was times like this that helped remind Perivia why she continued on. It was for the sake of the ones she brought into her fold, for their own benefit. Perivia smiled once more before she turned around and went back to the massive pile of papers on her desk. She began to sift through them as before, making sure to file the report about the rogue Yokai in a red folder for later use.

((Alright, at this time all students should head to whatever class they have next. Or ditch if they feel like it, and they feel like they can actually get away with it. Otherwise they just might have to answer to the Disciplinary Squad in the dungeons.))

"I'm your guy," Tor said immediately, without a moment of hesitation. When he happened to glance at the time, though, he leaped to his feet. He grinned at Guiseppi, trying to get him out of his dark mood.

"But right now, I've got class with Grady. I'm thinking BJ does to. I tell you we got us another Shadow Runner last night?" He asked, already starting to walk back to the school.

Grady had disappeared at some point, no doubt waiting in front of his classroom, ready to slam anyone who dared show up late.

When BJ entered Grady's room, she found not a single desk or chair, only a floor made of sparring mats, a closet full of protective gear, and a wall lined with weapons.

Several of the students who'd already arrived were sitting in three lines in front of a blackboard, talking amongst themselves in whispers.

Uriyu nodded, "That would be nice I think." he said with a smile. Then he heard a bell go off and his ears twitched. It wasnt uncomfortably loud but it was sudden enough to startle him a little. "What was that?" he asked calmly.
PostPosted: Tue May 11, 2010 3:55 pm

Guiseppi immediately relaxed, grinning at Tor. "I'll see you later! Fill me with details!" He waved and then headed to his dorm. Due to the nature of his last mission, he had an excuse from his next class. It was likely that he would be called in to report at some point, but that might not happen. It all depended on the day.

If he wanted, actually, he was quite sure he could even manage to be excused from the rest of his classes for the day, but that would be a priviledge, and he'd rather not waste his priviledges on such things. He'd rather save them enough to get some wine. However, it wasn't like he couldn't build it back up again quickly--he knew plenty of students who would pay in their own priviledges to get some of the things he got. He would get more priviledges than they were worth more often. It was a good business.

Ya-Hi stood outside the institution, on the training field. Some guys called him out and surrounded him, each with their own unique weapons. U-ggi popped his head out of Ya-Hi's pocket wondering if his owner will get himself hurt this time. Patting his rabbit's head he cooed "It's alright, U-ggi! I won't be harmed like usual! These guys are just a piece of cake!" He sniffed the air and pinched his nose "On the second note, I think they are more like piece of trash! I mean I see flies buzzing around their heads."
The leader of the group, who is easily agitated, shouted "SHUT UP b*****d!!! YOU SAY THAT BECAUSE YOU STAY NEAR TRASH AND YOU TRASH OUR GUYS LIKE NOTHING!!!!!" Ya-Hi simply shrugged and smirked, then brought back his head in laughter "That's because you guys are nothing but bullies! You guys suppose to be here to learn about espionage, assassination, and stealing! The Headmistress should have let you stay on the streets to continue your extortion! Because I warn you-"
With an ominous aura and piercing glare Ya-Hi growled "You guys are starting to remind of the very scumbags that I killed! So I dare you to come at me! This will serve as a great warm-up!" The crowd were shiver in fear, except the leader who was shaking due to anger. Not being able to control his anger, the leader charged toward Ya-Hi with his giant sledgehammer and bring the weapon downwards.
Ya-Hi spun out of the way was now in close-quarters with his opponent wide open for various attacks. Feeling a little sadistic today, he decided to simply kick the leader between the legs ten times before the leader falls. Before the knees fell to the floor, Ya-Hi grabbed the leader by the collar and threw him up in the air. Ya-Hi then proceeded to clap his two fingers together and grinned mischievously "Thousand Year of Pain!!!!!" The force of four finger going between the butt was enough to not only make the opponent cry but cause enough fear into the hearts of the other members of the mob.
Releasing his fingers, he turned to the rest of the mob and beckoned "Who's next?" Surprisingly only half the group charged at him as Ya-Hi smiled "What a surprise! I was expecting the best of the best!" However since they were brave enough after witnessing what happened to the master, he decided to give them a little mercy. Instead of getting anywhere between their legs, Ya-Hi awarded them by simply knocking them out with simple strikes to the chin. One by one, the attackers fell and Ya-Hi smiled "You guys are lucky! I can kill you since this school allows it but unlike your boss you guys have a higher chance of changing your ways! Remember that!"
All of a sudden, his stomach growled as he sighed and looked at his watch "Again?! I just ate thirty minutes ago!..... Oh well at least the food was good! Why not have another plate before class begins?" He pat the dust off his shoulders and took U-ggi out of his pocket to hold him in his hand. U-ggi seemed a little out of it until Ya-Hi realized that U-ggi was dizzy from all the spinning Ya-Hi had to executed. Patting U-ggi on the head he chuckled "Don't worry little guy! A good meal should get your mind put together!"
He came into the cafeteria and saw that they still had some meat and vegetables left, so he grabbed two plates for U-ggi and himself. Both of them quickly finishing their morsels, U-ggi jumped back into Ya-Hi's pocket while Ya-Hi speed-walked to his next class. He saw some students already warming up as some were practicing with their weapons and some mock sparring each other on the sparring mat. He saw every familiar face except for one. His eyes narrowed onto one girl and thought "Who the hell is that? Did she transfer from another class or is she new here altogether?"
Nevertheless, he sat in front of the nearest wall and took a little nap. U-ggi popping out of Ya-Hi's pocket, climbed all the up to the top of Ya-Hi's head. Patting his master's head a little bit, u-ggi settled down and snoozed on the top of his master's head.

Alarik "Deadeye" Wraynn

"Trouble already? This proves to be an interesting year..."

Alarik leaned on a wall of the institution, on the Training Fields side, hidden by shadows. He was watching one of the students completely obliterate a group of ruffians the headmistress had allowed to join. "If I were headmaster," he breathed to himself in his low, somewhat cold voice, "I would have kicked scum like that out immediately." he shook his head and looked to the sky as the bells tolled, sounding the next period of class. "Well, better get back to the archery field." he said to himself, watching the kid race to his next class, leaving the others in a mangled heap. Alarik snorted and turned to head off to the Archery Fields, where he taught prospective students how to fire a bow.

Once he had arrived in the fields, he spied several students already mingling around and wondering what they were going to do today. Smirking, Alarik stepped into the shadows of the building again and drew his bow. He noticed one of the students messing with a practice bow, and took aim at the kid's sleeve. He released the arrow and it sped toward the kid, pinning his arm by the sleeve to the tree he was standing next to. "I wouldn't play with those if I were you." he said, stepping out of the shadows, his face returning to indifferent neutrality. He walked over to the kid and pulled his arrow out of the tree and pointed it at the kid's face. "Next time it goes through your arm" he warned as he placed the arrow in the quiver on his back. Turning to the rest of the class, he addressed them in his usual tone, low and gravelly. "Get a practice bow and an arrow. We'll start by shooting stationary targets, if you can handle it."

I'm finally in. I look forward to roleplaying with you all.

Guiseppi calmly washed himself in the private bathroom he had 'bought' with his priviledges. It had been the third thing he'd done. He liked to be clean, and being clean was always easier with your own bathroom. After finishing, he dressed in a pair of plain white slacks and a deep, royal blue silk shirt. He put on a pair of ever-perfect black loafers and a shining silver wristwatch, and he was sufficiently dressed. His hair, always dried naturally for that wonderful windswept look that girls were so easily entranced by, was brushed into perfect position. If nothing else, Guiseppi kept personal hygiene and presentation high on his list. They were very important to him.

When he finished, he took his bookbag (a clean, bown leather messenger) and set off for his classes. He was in a good mood: his mission had gone perfectly and he already had someone willing to work with him for an 'extracirricular activity' to find out what the hell was happening outside the premises of the school campus.

Briefly, he wondered if he should contact anyone from the other schools. Of course, he had never dealt with anyone personally, but he knew people who knew people. He was sure he could get ahold of that eccentric door-hopping teacher from Saint Gristlewood's that his men had once intercepted. She could probably provide information--and, if needed, means of transportation. Of course, he wasn't sure if she was particularly trustworthy... She was just too loud-mouthed sometimes, and almost overly spontaneous. (He didn't really like the style of dress she was described as wearing, either. He had seen a picture, as he had taken a file on her for her interesting power, and... it was too loud for his more refined tastes.)

Uriyu started to wander off in a direction hearing the thud of arrows and twang of bow strings. After some time of wandering he found himself once again out in the open. He could tell one person was much older then the others. "Um hello, im the new student. I would like to shoot if its not too much trouble." he said politely. A few of the other students snickered at the blindfolded dark elf.

Alarik "Deadeye" Wraynn

"This day just gets more interesting by the minute..."

Alarik watched with folded arms as most of the students tried in vain to hit a bulls-eye. Only two of the whole group managed to do it once, but when asked to repeat the task, they proved unsuccessful. Alarik turned to the 'entrance' of the fields when he heard someone speaking. "A dark elf? Blinded, too, by the looks of it." he thought. Scowling, he shot an arrow at a tree, missing one of students by inches. "Keep your thoughts to yourself. You can't let emotions dominate your life. Laughter is a sign of showing emotion. If you laugh or shout or do anything that would betray your emotions, I'll make sure to put an arrow through your head." he said dangerously to the students, then turned back to the dark elf. "Well, new student, get a bow and arrow if you're eager to fire." he said, somewhat bluntly. Alarik kept a small feeling of skepticism in the back of his head. After what he just told the students, he couldn't show emotion either. "Well?" he said, gesturing to one of the weapons racks that held the longbows, putting a hand on his bow, which was belted to his side, in the process.

Raven watched the male leave towards the archery field and she sighed to herself. Today was going to be a long day, she could already tell. Not quite in the mood for walking with her injuries and all, Raven transported herself through the shadows to her next class. When she appeared outside the class her books and supplies came up after her from her room. Smiling smugly she entered into the room and proceeded to sit down and wait for instruction from the teacher. Yup, a long day indeed.

Uriyu bowed politely, "Thank you sir." he said before walking over to the rack. He walked down the rack running his hand along the bows feeling the wood beneath his fingers. A few of them felt rough and terribly worn by the many failed archers who attempted to fire them. However he found one that was still smooth, almost as if it had polished itself for his hand.

Gripping the bow he grabbed an arrow from one of the quivers. Knocking it he turned and in one quick easy motiong pointed it down the feild at where he could feel the target was. He had been listening to the thud of the targets for some time now. By counting his footsteps to the rack he knew exactly where it was now he had to judge the hieght from the thuds. He figured they were standard targets only about four five, feet high and smiled. He let eased his finger from the string letting the arrow whiste through the air at the target hitting it with a dull thud... just above the red center. "Forgive me it appears my judgement was a little off... shall i try again?" he asked politely.

"Ok, brats, shut your traps and listen up." Grady stood at the front of the room, his hands clasped behind his back.

"We got ourselves a newbie, a Shadow Runner so Wheeler can have himself a little playmate. And you know what that means, don't you brats?" He asked, and the students in the room were smart enough to hold back their groans.

"That means it's a 'Get the s**t Beat Out of You' kinda day, that's what it means. You know the drill, brats. Line up, one at a time, and try to take me down. Put me on my back for three seconds, and you've got full marks for the rest of the semester. Fail to bring me down in five minutes, and you owe me an hour of gym time." He grinned, summoned up his other form so before the students now stood a beast of a man, grinning as his muscles rippled under his arms.

"Now," His voice was a growl now, and his eyes lit with anticipation. "Who wants to go first?"

Ya-Hi's nap was interrupted by old man Grady's harsh tone of voice and U-ggi stood straight up as his master stood up. U-ggi was thumping his foot on Ya-Hi's head while keeping his balance. Ya-Hi placed U-ggi down and pat its head and whispered "I'll be back in one piece, okay?" U-ggi circled in a nervous manner because he has witnessed Ya-Hi limping back to him after sparring Grady.

Grady introduced the new girl and was surprised that there was another Shadow runner in their midst. Grady's joke about the girl being Wheeler's playmate was so lame in Ya-Hi's opinion that he did not even want to groan. Ya-Hi just turned a blind ear and rolled his eyes. He was thinking "Seriously? I know you can be an anti-social d**k, but please leave the humor to those who have a sense of it!" The conditions of victory made him perked his ears.

"Full marks the whole semester, huh? Sounds fun to me! I can do more patrolling for more Yakuza wannabes in this institution!" Ya-Hi thought. Seeing Grady turning into his stronger form, Ya-Hi smiled as he thought "Oho! He is planning to go around playing in that form? What an excellent teacher! Such a denizen of inflicting negative reinforcement on his students! Nothing more charming than coming out of this class traumatized, right?"

Ya-Hi shrugged as he stepped forward and stood five feet away from the mini Hulk of a teacher. He turned to see of his frequent "Spill-The-Beans-For-Me" clients worried for Ya-Hi's health, but gave them a thumbs-up. He then glared at the teacher and growled as he got into his stance "It is payback time!" At the same time he was thinking "Let's see if my training paid off like it did with those suckers outside!"

((Sorry Jun, gotta get this scene finished quick.))

Grady merely snorted at the confident boy who stepped up first. So, he was mighty sure of himself, confident in his abilities...Dumbass.

Five minutes later, Grady dusted his hand off, sent an absent look at the boy across the room, now on the floor in a heap. "Rule 1, never let your ego walk into a fight ahead of you. Dumbass." He turned to the rest of the group, pointed a finger at random.

"You. You're next." It went on this way for most of the hour long class. Some lasted longer than others, but Ya-Hi and Torin tied for lasting the longest against him.

As always, Grady saved the newbie for last. He'd watched her as he'd tossed dumbass after dumbass across the room, and had approved of the way she'd stood exactly where she was, even as kids flew by her with inches to spare. A cold one, he thought, looking as though she didn't care one way or the other what happened. But she wouldn't be expressionless for long.

"Newbie. Get your a** up here." Even as she was stepping forward, he was striking out, and didn't even blink when she disappeared into the shadows of the floor. God knew Wheeler had pulled that often enough.

He was ready when she appeared again, behind him, and he whirled, taking the elbow to the ribs even as his hand shot out, caught her in the face and snapped her head back.

He had to give her points for keeping her face blank, her mouth closed, as she let herself drop backwards. She dropped into a roll, and he anticipated her when her feet shot out in a kick that would've made him proud if he'd been watching. As it was, he merely lifted a brow, grabbed her ankle and tossed her across the room. But instead of hitting the wall, she faded into it, and he rolled his eyes when the shadows spread, pulling the room into absolute darkness.

"Damn showoff newbie." And without a moment of hesitation, he brought up his fist and caught her straight in the jaw once he sensed she was close enough.

As the light came back into the room, he looked down where she was sprawled at his feet, her face emotionless, her lip bleeding a bit.

He checked the clock across the room, nodded as he pulled her up by the shoulders. "Tied with your buddy and the Asian kid. Not bad for your first time. But every one of you owes me an hour of hard gym time. I find you shirked it, it'll be your a** mounted on my mantlepiece." Without another word, he strode out of the room, dismissing them.

((Sure! I don't mind!))

During the fight, Ya-Hi had trouble landing any strikes or kicks on old man Grady. Grady was still defending himself with relative ease. In his head, Ya-Hi growled "Damn! This is not the improvement I want to show everyone! So much for an A the whole year!" Ya-Hi focused his breathing to save some energy and put a lot of his energy into his eyes. Everything is crystal clear even Grady's attacks. However, there is a difference in seeing it and being able to defend against or dodge against it adequately.

Ya-Hi was bruised up all over the arms and so far only two and a half minutes have passed. Anxious, he growled "DAMN IT! DROP DEAD YOU OLD FART!!!" He then started on a combo he secretly practice. First was a right roundhouse that served as a feint, a right hook punch aimed for the face, and a left swinging back-fist. Ya-Hi knew Grady will be able to dodge them all but Ya-Hi already planned something. He anticipated that Grady will think Ya-Hi will be aiming for the head, so this is where the final blow is suppose to happen. Just Ya-Hi expected Grady ducked because Ya-Hi's right arm looked as if it will perform a haymaker. Ya-Hi grinned "Gotcha!" as he thrust his elbow forward. However to his surprise Grady ducked lower than expected, Ya-Hi rolled his eyes "Damn.... I am screwed now!" Grady spun his way behind Ya-Hi, grabbed his arm, and threw Ya-Hi across the room over his shoulder. Ya-Hi hit the wall hard enough to leave a dent, but Ya-Hi thought "Well, it's not bad once you get used to being thrown around!" He heard Grady chewing him out and Ya-Hi simply pouted and stuck out his tongue. When he turned to his next opponent, Ya-Hi briefly pulled out both of his middle finger as he was peeling himself off the wall.

Ya-Hi got down from the wall, and walked back to his original place. He watched Torin and was amused that he lasted as long as he did. Ya-Hi smiled "So we got tied this time, huh? Now we are even!" U-ggi hopped onto his lap and Ya-Hi flashed a thumb whispering "See boy! I got here without limping!" The whisper was only audible enough for a creature with exceptional ears, like a rabbit. What really got his attention was the new girl. He didn't think much of her but efforts against the Grady was certainly impressive. What surprised him was that she tied with Torin and him. Everyone who lost miserably against Grady grumbled, relieved that his class was over. Ya-Hi rubbed his chin and thought "This girl is very intriguing! I think it will be nice to learn about her a little bit more!"
