i forget alot,,,especially after we moved to Florida...we use to pray before meals, and b4 bed time...but now i pray if i remember to....

well... i'm buddhist. I don't really know a lot of my relgion. can anyone explain the full details of Buddhism?

Hey I'm Buddhist too, though I same, I don't know much about it either, Hell, I didn't even know I was a Buddhist, I mean I knew that we would light incense each day and we had a statue of Kwan Yin in our home and such and such, but I thought Buddism was an East Indian religion and I didn't think my parents got into religious beliefs, I just thought what they did was like "chinese traditions." And I'd figured they would've told me, like when my Jehova's Witnesses friend was trying to convert me when I was in second grade. She asked me to have bible studies with her and I was too young to understand all of this stuff so I said "Yeah it sounds like fun" I never had chances to hang out with friends outside of school and I didn't know ppl outside of school cuz I wasn't in any extra curricular activities.. my parents didn't know there way around our town cuz they couldn't speak english. *Sighs* And yeah they didn't say anything about how I should be devoted to our own religion they just told me to stop doing those bible studies.. I was never close to parents too.. I never talked to them, so I asked my mom like 3 months ago during this awkward silence [which we have many] why she didn't "press" the religion on me and she said that I had a choice as to what I wanted to believe in.

I don't understand why you should bother to pray. I don't think that god would really care wether or not a couple thousand people didn't pray for him. I'm sure all the really releigious (don't want to use fanatic) people pray enough for all of us.
