Crow left Strawberry and the kits alone and hopped on the fence. He smelled both dog and cat, and decided to go to the source of the scents. "Hello." He said as he came upon the animals. "My name is Crow. I live close by. It is nice to meet you all."

Phantom gazed at Cooper thankfully. "You're a good friend, Cooper. Thanks." He looked at Alice as she addressed them, and spoke after Cooper. "I'm not sure if that will be the case for too much longer. But I hope things change for the better. I don't know what I'll do if my housefolk never comes back." His ears perked and he turned as another one of the new cats approached. He dipped his head in response, not really feeling like talking anymore.

"I am sorry to here that. If worst comes to worst, my owner's have been thinking about buying another cat, or a dog, can't remember, but you can stay for a while?" She said, hoping to cheer the cat up.
Her eyes flickered over to the new cat, listening to what he was saying. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Alice." Alice smiled, still concerned about Phantom. She glanced down at Copper and questioned him. "What'cha eating?"

Phantom waved his tail at Alice. "I might have to leave my own house for a while, but I'll stick around. Cooper doesn't live far." He blinked and suddenly thought of something. "Hey, Cooper, how come you never considered getting your own housefolk?"

"I have but I never can find the right ones their always mean so I continue to run away. And Alice im eating some kind of berry taste good hasnt hurt or killed me so oh well."Cooper said licking up another.

What a strange creature this dog is. Crow thought. "Well, I am going to go check on my mate and our kits. Goodbye." He said, hopping on the fence and going back to Strawberry.

Alice nodded as the cat disapeared. "Cooper, why don't you see if my owners will let you in. They aren't mean or anything. Do you want to test it out?"

Phantom closed his eyes, crouching on the fence, and began to wonder about the forest. He had never really desired to go in there before. Maybe he should give it a try. He suddenly saw a flash of claws and heard a frightening yowl, and his eyes snapped open. He looked around in fear and surprise. Then he shook his head. Just his imagination. He couldn't help but feeling scared, though, as he looked back out at the forest.

When Crow got to his twoleg's yard, a small calico tom ran up to him. "Hello!" The kit mewed. Strawberry, who couldn't get up because of the other kits, called out to her mate. "Isn't it wonderful?" She meowed with joy. "Spot has opened his eyes already. He is so cute." Crow looked down at his son, who was rolled over and pawing at the air, and gave him a lick. "Why aren't you the active little furball." He chuckled. He walked towards his mate, Spot following close behind him, and layed down next to Strawberry.

Cooper jumped up the side of the fence and barked at Phantom."You all right?"Coop asked as he started scratching at the fence tilting his head slightly.
